I can't recommend them enough!

I can't say enough about Megan and Tim! They worked with us to plan everything while we were out of state and everything went absolutely perfectly! We've received so many compliments about the both of them. The photo booth was a great touch that everyone loved. Megan played a wide range of music that kept everyone on the dance floor the entire night!

Excellent DJ & Photo booth!!!

Tim was so kind and answered all of my many many questions in the time leading up to our wedding (he was very nice about all the times I called him saying how nervous I was about the first dance!). He played my entire, very long playlist for my wedding and people were on the dance floor all night - people loved him!!! Also, Megan and Randy were our photo booth assistants and they did an excellent job! People were absolutely raving about the photo booth and it was a hit all night! Megan also went out of her way to work with me on the details of how the photo strips would look (font/color), and knowing that I was a nervous bride, she went out of her way to tell me I could call her 24/7 with any concerns or needs to vent-she's SO thoughtful! Very very happy with Capital DJ's and I like their online event planner where I was able to input all details of my wedding, timeline, and music selection for Tim to reference. Would definitely recommend them!!!

Excellent and professional!

Meghan (DJ) was incredible! Randy and Tim were wonderful with Photo Booth. I told them what I wanted and they did a great job of creating a fantastic playlist. My guests were dancing all night and had a wonderful time!

Just awesome!

Tim set us up with Randy and Marcos (my family is Spanish and we needed a bilingual dj/mc). The girl that worked the photobooth (unfortunately I didn't catch her name) had such a great vibe coming from her. She was awesome! They were great, everyone had a good time and we all got to dance something (which I was worried about because my family doesn't really talk/ understand to much English and my husband's family doesn't understand much Spanish) but Capital Djs had us all connecting on the dance floor. It was a lot of fun!

Tim & Megan were absolutely amazing. I haven’t been to a wedding where so many people were in the dance floor the entire time. I would recommend them to anyone getting married!

Megan was absolutely fantastic! The team was professional, yet so much fun. They were very supportive throughout the planning process and were very responsive when it came to answering questions. We are so glad we hired Capital DJs and would recommend them to anyone looking to have a great time dancing the night away at their wedding!

Capital Disc Jockeys provided a wonderful environment for us on our wedding day! Megan and Tim were warm and friendly, and made sure we were comfortable with all the details of the day. The uplighting really set the tone for the ceremony and reception, and they had all different shades and tones to choose from. The photobooth was a hit, and they had a great selection of ways to personalize details with the booth. The music selection was perfect, and everyone said it was one of the best song selections to dance to that they had seen in a long time. I would highly recommend them to future brides!!

We decided we wanted a band and a dj at our wedding. Band for ceremony, and dj for dancing after dinner. Capital was our choice, Megan was fantastic, and really made it special. She coordinated smoothly with the band, handled our introductions and first dances and then got everyone up dancing all night.
We were so happy with the the whole evening. Megan and Tim were a pleasure to work with from initial contact to planning. They also provided our photo booth which was a big hit with our guests, and the up lighting that made the tent and liner look magical.

My experience with my dj Sari sparks and her photo booth crew was an amazing one. They made the night seem as if it was a movie. It was the best night of my life and I told my wife that if I had a chance to do it all over again I would. The music selection was amazing even though we didn’t give her much to work with. And she seemed to ginuenly care about my wedding as much as we did. We love love loved her and her crew and would definitely recommend you guys.

P.S. she got complements from all of our wedding guest! ❤️

Sari did a great job at our grandson's Bar Mitzvah, and the photo booth was a hugh success. We will be rebooking for our other grandson's Bar Mitzvah in three years.

Tim and his crew were amamzing! Making sure I felt special and that my guest were always having a good time! The music was awesome and the photo booth was a big hit!! There was always a line for it and it definitely captured many memories I will cherish for years to come! Thank you guys!

Definitely give examples of songs that you like for the DJ to play during the reception. When the requested songs came on it got the party going even more.

Tim was a pleasure to deal with, was always quick to respond to emails and phone calls. He was able to to make last minute changes and adjustments during the wedding. All of the music we requested was correct, timing was perfect, and with no issues. We trusted Tim to mix things up a bit by choosing his own playlists during most of the wedding, and he did not disappoint. He kept to his promise on keeping the music at appropriate volumes during dinner, and also to avoid rough language pieces (small kids were present). The initial price was a bit of a sticker shock, but we realized as the last song of the night ended he was worth every penny and we rather have paid the bit more for his amazing services.

Tim, Megan and Sari are the best!!! Our photo booth photos came out amazing! Our dance floor was packed the entire night (even had a few on the dance floor during dinner lol). From our original meeting to our after party Tim and his team were excellent, they responded to my questions in a timely manner and were like friends at our wedding! I highly recommend them to anyone planning a wedding or actually any event!

One of my favorite things for a wedding to have is a photobooth because it gives guests another option to do something besides dancing, sitting, talking or eating. Plus, everyone has a fun memory to immediately take home with them. When I found out that capital DJs and Photobooths would fulfill my DJ, photobooth and lighting needs, it was an easy choice. DJ Sari was amazing. She listened to what I wanted, she listened to what the guests wanted and played the songs they requested, she was a great announcer and made sure that everyone had a great time. Megan and Michelle operated the photobooth and were welcoming to guests, supplied great props and made sure that everyone (including the bride and groom) had a memento to take home. Capital DJs and Photobooths helped make my wedding an amazing time.

We worked with Tim for our wedding and he was great! He played all of our special requests as well as the songs our guests asked for. He defiantly kept the party going! We also got uplighting through Tim that was very pretty. I would highly recommend Tim!

We contacted Capital DJ for our april 8th wedding. I couldnt have made a better choice. We had Megan dj our wedding and she was amazing. Very professional and friendly and she kept the dance floor full the entire night. She made sure all our needs were met and went above and beyond what we could have expected. We were worried because we arent big music people that the dj would be too in our face. That wasnt the case at all. She played just the right kind of music even without us knowing what to request. Hughly recommend them to anyone. A huge thanks to Tim and Megan. You guys made the wedding a blast.

We chose Tim to DJ our wedding, we also had a Photobooth. He did an great job and everyone loved the Photobooth. Our package came with an album of all the Photobooth pictures he did a wonderful job on that. He also last minute ordered a backdrop to match our wedding color. I was so thrilled to see it when I walked in our venue. Thanks Capital DJ for celebrating our wedding with us!

We could not be more happy with our decision to work with Tim and Capital DJs and Photobooths for our wedding. Tim had been the DJ for my brother's wedding and was great. The photobooth was definitely the highlight of the night, so we knew we had to book him for our wedding too. I was planning the wedding from North Carolina, and Tim was so easy to get a hold of through e-mail and Facebook messages. He answered any questions we had right away and had some great suggestions for songs, timing, etc.

As the wedding approached, my mother and I met with Tim to finalize everything. If you have never met Tim before, fear not, because you will feel like you have known him forever. He is funny and warm and puts you at ease immediately. He really knows his stuff, and is straight forward with what he thinks will work or not work for your day. At the same time, he is very accommodating and flexible.

On the day of the wedding, everything went smoothly. Tim kept the party going, despite the ridiculous heat and humidity in our not air-conditioned barn venue. The dance floor was packed. The girls who ran the photobooth were so much fun to work with! Everyone had a blast getting their pictures taken, and we are loving the photobooth album they gave us at the end of the night.

We highly recommend Tim to anyone who is looking for a fun, easy-going, yet very professional DJ who knows his stuff!

Capital DJ's were excellent and would highly recommend them. Tim worked our event, and he was great. We had 8 on each side of our bridal party, and each couple wanted to be introduced to a different song. He was able to accommodate us without a problem. We also gave him quite an extensive song request list (several pages) and he made sure all of our requests were played and that our wedding timeline went exactly as we wanted. He is friendly, and professional. Would definitely use them again!

Working with Tim for our wedding was definitely one of the best decisions we could have made! When we began planning our wedding, we asked friends and family for recommendations for DJ's and a long time family friend of my fiance's (now husband) offered up Tim. They were more than willing to work with us on everything and from the very first meeting with him, we knew we were going to be just fine. Tim is very friendly and even if you've just met, he makes you feel like you're old friends. We had a few custom songs that we wanted and he had no problem using them. Even once your wedding is over, you'll have gained a new friend! That is the type of wonderful person Tim is.

We used Capital Disc Jockeys for our wedding reception and they were AMAZING!! Tim Wedeman and his staff did such a wonderful job!!
From the first meeting to the actual wedding day Tim was very accommodating and very easy to work with. He always gave us good ideas if we were having trouble trying to think of songs and he kept a list of everything we wanted.
It was always a fear of mine that no one would dance at the wedding and I must say that was not the case! Everyone loved the music we had and everyone was up dancing!! It was nice to see everyone having a good time! We had a wide age group so we had a little bit of everything so that everyone had some music that they knew.
We also had the uplighting and the photobooth. I'm so happy that we had included these into our package. Everyone loved the photobooth! People that you didn't think would use it were up there 4 or 5 times!! It was a lot of fun to go through the photo album that Tim gives you at the end of the night and see all of the funny pictures. The uplighting was nice because it just makes the atmosphere a little bit more intimate.
I highly recommend Capital Disc Jockeys for you wedding or event. They are very professional and very easy to work with!! They will definitely making your event a blast!

The open air photo booth was the talk of our wedding! The ceremony and reception music was perfect and the uplighting was absolutely gorgeous. Tim was not only a great DJ, but really helped from start to finish with making sure our night was perfect. Tim and his staff were true professionals. He had everyone dancing and enjoying themselves the entire night. He was as pleasant to deal with in person as he is to talk to on the phone and he was always accessible for all of our questions and concerns. Tim was happy to provide extra speakers so all of our guests could easily hear the ceremony. The photobooth and props were a hit also and we love the photo album of all of our guests. Tim is awesome! We loved getting to work with him throughout the wedding process! We found him after he dj'ed our friends wedding a few years ago. He was so professional and accommodating for them that we knew we wanted him for our wedding! The music was great, everything flowed nicely and the Photo Booth was awesome! The guests loved the Photo Booth and we loved getting a book with all the pictures in it of our guests having a good time. We still laugh at the pictures that many of our friends and family took. ;) So much fun, highly recommend Tim and team!!

Sari and Megan were a delight to work with. They handled the crowd well, were professional and friendly, and made everyone feel welcome. The music was a wonderful collection of old favorites and contemporary dance music, and there were fun props available for the photo booth. I loved them! It was great that one of the DJs got the Israeli dances going. We had 3 DJs, which was great, and they were all wonderful. They played our requests. The games were awesome. I especially loved the limbo and the scavenger hunt. My daughter had an exceptionally great time and so did everyone else. The music was not too loud so people could talk. The DJs are great and I am going to use them for my other daughter's Bat Mitzvah.

Tim and his staff were great in making sure our wedding experience was what we wanted. They checked in with us throughout the night to make sure we were good, but not overly intrusive by any means. We had a couple birthdays on the wedding day and they stopped and announced it as well as sing happy birthday which we appreciated greatly. They were very professional and true to what we discussed which was great! Everyone had a great time and kept saying it was a great party and that thanks in large part to Tim and his staff.

Tim was very open and willing to exchange ideas with both me and my wife Samantha for our wedding reception. He was willing to make a lot of last-minute changes to our reception.
He has a great delivery on the microphone and says JUST THE RIGHT AMOUNT--not too much, not too little.

He makes it known that it's the Bride's show.

Oddly enough I met Tim at a funeral,I actually was the one who inquired about his business for my wedding. Throughout the process of knowing him,he was there to answer any questions I had with prompt responsiveness.He has an upbeat personality and is willing to do what ever you want for wedding.The photo both was the best idea ever!!! all my guest loved it! That is what I used for my favors and people are still talking about how much fun that was two weeks after the wedding. I highly recommenced Tim for your Dj, My wedding would have been nothing without the music and it could not have been any more perfect.

Tim and his crew were wonderful! They came and set up the photo booth hours ahead of time and made it fun and entertaining for our guests! They even made the scrap book of all the photo strips that people took purple, which was one of our wedding colors! How thoughtful : ) I had a great time with them and they were wonderful, all of the guests had a blast at the photo booth and the pictures came out great! Even people who wouldn't normally do a photo booth were in there making 3 or 4 strips! It was easy and comfortable and worked out so well. Thank you guys so much!!!

Dj Tim , Saul, and Sari were so amazing at our wedding. I felt so comfortable with Tim when we were planning everything and he made me feel like family. The event went perfectly and kept our party going all night. The uplighting was amazing and the photo booth was a complete hit. All of our guest loved it! Sari and Saul were so much fun at the photo booth and our photo booth guest book was hilarious. I could not have asked for a better wedding and I cant say thank you enough for being such a huge part of making it such a dream come true! Thanks!!

Tim and his entourage were amazing from day one! He was quick to respond to any e-mails sent. He made the process very easy and relaxing. He was able to answer any questions, as a new bride I had several! I wanted to change my backdrop selection at the last minute and he was able to do that for me. My husband wanted to play a little joke on one of his family members at our reception and Tim was right there for us. He was able to meet with us and make recommendations that come from his years of experience. I would recommend Capital DJs and Photobooths to anyone and will not hesitate to hire them again.

I had a mixed crowd at my wedding between city and country so I was nervous for the DJ to get everyone dancing but Tim said he loved a challenge and to have no worries. I had no worries at all, I can't say enough about Tim and Capital DJ, I just loved them. We took the whole package with up lighting, DJ, and photo booth and everything went perfect. The lighting was out of this world and the photo booth was a hit all night with the best feedback from all my guest, it was great to see all the photos in the scrapbook the next morning. Tim is the best DJ you can ask for, he promptly answered all my calls and questions went over things with me as much as I needed and was just there for me, it's great to have service like that on such a big life event. He was amazing and he had everyone dancing all night and at the end of the night he waited and personally said goodbye to me which was great!! Tim and is crew at capital djs were amazing!! Besides music; up lighting, dance floor lighting and a photo booth were provided. Tim did a great job interacting with my guests and he was very responsive to what it was I wanted for the overall wedding.

Having a wedding on a Sunday afternoon, we were worried that it might be hard to get the "party" started, but at our meeting before the wedding, Tim told us not to worry at all and sure enough, he was right! The dance floor was packed the whole time. TIm and Capital DJs did everything right; they handled all of our requests, played great music, and TIm was an excellent MC. During the wedding, we had a bunch of guests raving about the music, so if you're looking for a DJ, we recommend Capital DJs 100%.

Tim was excellent and fun to work with....they created a great vibe from introduction to end and the crowd had a blast!!!! I've never seen more 30+ somethings out on the floor dancing....it was an amazing wedding and no one wanted to leave. The music selection, emceeing, lighting effects were great!!!! Where to begin? These gentlemen are simply the best! They were able to set up music for our outdoor ceremony which made it have the personal intimate feel that we wanted. As requested, soft music was played during dinner so that our guests could enjoy each other’s company without having to shout over the music. Going into the reception we had a plan for the sequence of events, but Tim was very flexible in allowing us to make last minute changes. He did it all with a big smile on his face. We had special requests for our Father/Daughter Mother/Son dances and he followed through with our plan. The dance floor was packed from the start of open dance until the end. I’m sure people would have stayed dancing all night if the music had continued. He not only stuck to our Song Request list, but he also took some requests from our guests. When a memeber of our Bridal Party wanted to make an unplanned speech, Tim first checked with us to make sure this was ok. I highly recommend this company for your special event, because as I said before they are simply the best.

Tim did a fantastic job with our wedding! He was able to get the song requests that we requested so that our special dances truly held the meaning we were looking for. We wanted our reception to be a party and Tim read the crowd and provided the perfect selection of music to keep the diverse guest group on the dance floor all evening! Tim & Saul were great to work with. We ran into trouble a few weeks before our wedding with the piano player for our ceremony, I called Tim to see if he had any connections...with in an hour I had 5 options! What a great addition to our wedding celebration! All our guest had a blast with their pics. We laughed for hours when we reviewed them all after the wedding, What a great service and at a very reasonable cost. My advice to any bride planning her reception....add the photo booth! Tim is AWESOME!

We hired Tim after hearing him at my friend's wedding back in 2009. He was exactly the kind of a a DJ you want: somebody who keeps the party going but isn't an obnoxious egomaniacal jerk.

Heading up to our wedding, both my husband and I were absolutely swamped and it really, really helped that I was not worried at ALL about how the music would be.

Tim is incredibly professional- I don't think he took more than 45 minutes to respond to any of my emails. When you are planning a wedding, that kind of a responsiveness is AWESOME and makes your life so much easier!

The night of our wedding, we just asked to play good music- we went with mostly older music and it was amazing to see both our friends in their 20's and 30's and our parents and their friends in their 50's and 60's just dancing their pants off! We were constantly getting complemented on the music which people thought we had certainly picked ourselves (nope!).

If you are looking for a great DJ who is probably the most professional I've met, hire these guys.

My husband also just reminded me that Tim really went the extra mile- we had picked two fairly obscure songs that we really wanted played and Tim literally held the phone up to his speakers so my husband could 100% confirm that he had gotten EXACTLY the version we wanted. Now THAT's service!!

Capital DJs Tim Wedeman and his sidekick Saul operated the photobooth for our wedding. This might have been he most fun part for a lot of people at our wedding. We did this as part of the wedding favors. Tim and Saul not only operated the booth, but they were entertaining as well. they had hats and scarfs and costume jewelry, etc. My guest took the craziest pictures. I was extremely satisfied. But it didnt' end there. Tim sent us a disc with everyone's photos on there!!! We were able to share them on facebook and even send to our guest by email. that was the coolest thing.

I have known of Tim Wedeman since Rocking bowl at Latham Bowl. So when it came to finding our Dj he was the first person who came to my mind. I had remembered him back then (10 years) as always having lots of energy, a fun personality and he always played great music!! Three things you definitly want in your wedding dj. And let me tell you, he has'nt changed a BIT!! If anything the years have made him better!! He was a blast to work with and he had our wedding guests on the dance floor all night!! Tim also provides an open air photobooth, that we also included in our package. Im so glad we did because it was an extra element to our wedding that our guests beyond loved! I would recommend Tim and the Capital Disc Jockeys staff to anyone who is looking to have a "Rocking" good time at there wedding!! And if your looking for a little extra to "WOW" your guests get the photobooth!!

We were in the somewhat unique position of living in Atlanta but planning a wedding in upstate New York. In addition, we were having a smaller wedding reception (50 people) and wanted only background-type music played. Finding a DJ online to fit our needs seemed somewhat daunting until we contacted Capital Disc Jockeys. Tim Wedeman repeatedly told us "That's no problem" to every single request that we made, all the way down to the relatively obscure song that we wanted for our first dance. Tim happily gave us exactly the reception music that we had envisioned, selecting all of the types and styles of music from his massive library.

When you look for an entertainment group one of the things you rarely think of is how that person is going to interact with other vendors. DJ Tim was not only responsive and flexible with my husband and I, but he was just as courteous with the caterer, photographer and other vendors. Tim was great! I was very torn between a band and a DJ and I was very happy with my decision. He kept the party going and read the crowd well. 9 months later, our friends are still talking about the great dance party. Everyone was having so much fun that we extended it an extra hour. Tim was a pleasure to work with and very organized throughout the process. We too were out of towners/staters and so Tim made the process seamless. He took so much time to prepare and organize ahead of time, and came early (extra early) to set up. This made one less thing on my list of things to think about that day! We had both our ceremony and reception at the Glen Sanders Mansion. He did a great job playing the ceremony music outside, and then switching over to cocktail hour and then the ballroom reception. His announcements and pronunciation were perfect and did a great job of keeping everyone on the dance floor all night! We weren't sure about "props" for this wedding, but it was so much fun to see everyone dressed to the nines with black plastic sunglasses, tambourines, and maracas! One of my favorite parts! My grandmother is 76 years old and wasn't sure if she would get out and dance even one dance....she missed dinner and cake, and had to be carried up to bed, as she didn't leave the dance floor all night!!! Thank you Tim for making our day extra special, and also one of the best days of my Grams life!!!!

We loved having Tim as our DJ! We got so many compliments on wonderful our DJ was. Tim was so nice, and easy to work with. Our wedding song was from Walt Disney World, and we brought the CD to him and it was no problem! I would recommend Tim to ANYONE!

We loved our wedding day but it wouldn't have been complete with out Tim and all of the music he played. Tim is a very patient and caring person and helped us get through this process. He has tons of ideas and is always smiling.

I would highly recommend AMS Entertainment. Tim did a wonderful job during the ceremony, the cocktail hour and the reception. I loved the advice he gave for song selections and he played a good variety of music that seemed to please everyone.

Tim Wedeman with Albany AMS was FANTASTIC!!
He went above and beyond. We really liked a parody song from the Fly Morning Rush gang on Fly 92, but it was only available in a movie format. Tim actually contacted the radio station to get the song so he was able to play it at our wedding. He also mentioned that it was for our wedding and apparently they talked about us on the Radio that Friday. (we missed it). Anyway he was great at working with our song requests and he also took requests from the guests (but he wouldnt if you didnt want to). And if they requested songs from our "do not play" list, he told them he couldn't play it. (yay, no chicken dance for us!!!)

Everyone had such a great time. He was fabulous. And VERY reasonably priced!

Both Tim and Mary Ann were great to work with. Everyone had a blast at our wedding, dancing the night away! Tim will work with you to determine how you want the night to go. He is not one of those DJ's that takes over and becomes the show. The video montage was such a hit, and many people said that they would love to do the same thing for their wedding. It was a way to showcase our friends, family and love for each other in a unique special way :)

Tim was the best DJ. First he was inexpensive for what quality of a service you got. He was so professional and helped me through each step of the way. I have a busy schedule and he accomadated me on a Saturday morning before my wedding to go over what songs I wanted. He helped make what I wanted not what he wanted. And at the wedding he was professional but also fun. All my friends and family had a blast at my wedding. One of my friends said that my wedding was the most fun and best wedding they have been to so far. And my family loved that he through the old songs with the new so everyone had a great time. I highly recommend Tim and his services. And if any of my other friends have a wedding, Tim will be the first one I recommend.

I give Tim at Capital DJs and Photobooths a 5 stars review for flexibility and responsiveness in particular. My wife and I were very busy handling last minute things and didn't have much time to communicate more than a song list to Tim prior to the wedding. He was more than patient with us though and everything worked out wonderfully. Tim and his partner were more than on time and well setup by the time our reception started. He did a great job coordinating with staff on the venue for first dance, cake cutting, toasts, and just overall flow of the night without much interaction or direction. It shows obviously that he has done to a few events and knows how to handle himself. Music was great sounding and provided an awesome environment that everyone loved.

Tim is just great! He is very friendly and easy to work with. He was accommodating to all of our special requests and helped give us ideas if there was anything we were unsure about (example: we needed an alternative to bouquet/garter toss and he suggested a dance for all the couples instead).
As a Master of Ceremonies he was spot on. He spoke when he needed to and made sure the attention was kept on us. Throughout the night we received many compliments on how good the music was. And the photobooth was a total hit too! We would suggest Tim to any of our friends getting hitched!

We used Tim Wedeman from AMS Entertainment. Tim was great to work with - he had just the right amount of participation at our wedding and his giveaway prizes were a huge it with our guests (lais, plastic sunglasses, maracas, etc.) We had people who never dance, dance the night away because of the great music and fun props. I would recommend Tim and AMS as a great DJ service!

Tim was absolutely fantastic for our wedding reception! He did everything we asked. He felt like he was one of the family by the end of the night. He was incredibly professional and accommodating. He was wonderful at being a very professional MC and all our guests new when things were happening throughout the night. Having our playlist be very multigenerational so that all our families would want to dance too was very important to us.Tim was so wonderful at making that happen in a wonderfully organic way. His transitions were very smooth and natural and people are still talking about how much fun they had and Tim's amazing work was a huge part of that. I highly recommend booking him for your next event because you will not be disappointed. Thank you Tim and your team for making our wedding such a wonderful experience!

Capital Disc Jockeys and Tim Wedeman were wonderful! They made our day so simple and special. The mix of music was wonderful, they honored all of our requests and they were very professional. Our only issue was the online preparation tool in terms of selecting music. We found it harder to navigate and wished we had some guidance on that ahead of time. However, Tim was flexible with the written list we gave him and our guests LOVED his music selections.

Everyone was very professional. Easy to get in touch with and offered suggestions when I needed them. The person DJing my wedding, emailed and called so that we could go over any last minute details and was very flexible.
