  We stayed in the honeymoon suite (which was free since we got married there) The suite was nice, it had a big bed and a nice bath with spa jets. I did like that they wouldnt let anyone know where our room was because we didnt want people messing with the rooms. However, I was disappointed that they didnt decorate it or have champange or something to make it a bit more special. Also our guests got a "discount" if they stated they were with our wedding party, but most people found it $20 cheaper online.

  I would recommend the Caterbury Inn. The venue was excellent - the ballroom was big and roomy. The food was out of this world. The catering manager was excellect to work with. She stepped up and decorated the tables with the extras I had purchased when our Monica Delany of Moments Like This did a no call / no show up.
  
  The bathrooms for the ballroom are really tiny and make it difficult for people with wheel chairs.
  
  The only issue we had was the rooms. Someone prior to our stay had gotten sick outside of our room (patio outside) and we asked the front desk to have the mess clean it up and they never did durring the entire weekend.

  I was EXTREMELY disappointed with our reception at Canterbury Inn. Almost everything that could go wrong did. The wedding coordinator was very personal and friendly at all of our previous encounters with her, but nothing she promised us came through and she was rude to my friends and family the night of party!
  My biggest frustration was that guests from the bar across the hall crashing our reception. We were told this wouldn't be a problem multiple times because they would close the adjoining doors the night of our reception. We asked again before the party started when we saw the doors were still open and they would not close them!!! Needless to say, my friends and I had to chase away strangers who were trying to eat my cupcakes! Several strangers also used my photo booth and left rude messages in the book, and I can only assume the drank our booze too since it was in the hall as well.
  Some of the other things the went wrong were:
  -We never received our salads with our dinner. (No one did, but I'm sure we paid for it anyway)
  -The coordinator left immediately after dinner. (before the first dance)
  -My cards and gifts were not secured like we were promised. I'm positive someone would have stolen them if my friend's mother hadn't taken charge and brought things to her room early in the night.
  -There was only one working women's bathroom stall, so my guests had to wait in long lines to use the bathroom.
  -They charged the remaining balance to wrong card
  -The did not supply the bar with the wine we had asked for
  My party was great, but I feel like we had an amazing night despite the Canterbury Inn's attempt to sabotage it. I am angry we spent so much money and received such worthless service. Do not have a reception here!

  My wedding day was nowhere close to a fairy tail! Our wedding day was a nightmare from them running out of food to actually having ceiling tiles fall on our guests heads. Professionalism and responsiveness hmmm they don't know the meaning of that. You will never get a call back from the management they just tell you the voicemail system is not working. I was charged for rental chairs for my outdoor wedding which did not take place outdoors and which was never stated in my contract. The ballroom we got married in was not set up on time and I had guests waiting outside to be able to enter. The food was aweful and there was not enough for everyone, also the way they serve the tables some of our guests waited an hour and fourtyfive minutes to eat.
