Emily Smiley at Candy Rose was AMAZING to work with! She was lovely and easy to communicate with. She did my hair for my engagement photos AND wedding. She also did the makeup for my mother, MIL, and sisters. My MIL was concerned about her hair being very thin, and Emily gave her peace of mind and made her feel so beautiful! Her rates were also very affordable compared to most other hair/makeup artists in the area. Definitely would recommend for peace of mind on your wedding! -

I can’t say enough good things about Candace and her team! They made me feel like the most beautiful girl in the world and brought every hair and makeup dream I had to life. From start to finish, working with Candace was as easy as could be. I can’t say enough amazing things about Candy Rose Events! They absolutely nailed it on my wedding day — not just for me, but for my entire bridal party, along with my beautiful flower girl. Candace, Rosie, and Emily were so kind, professional, and on time, which made the whole morning run smoothly and stress-free. Both were very attentive to listening to what each girl was wanting, and Rosie was so accommodating to me (the bride) when I wanted to change my makeup look from what we discussed at my trial. This was the first time I ever had my hair and makeup done professionally and I wouldn’t have wanted to go with anyone else! Emily did my makeup and hair perfectly and it held up all night (even after hours of dancing!) My girls looked awesome and we really enjoyed a morning of getting pampered and jamming out to old school music.
The crew was timely (even when my girls and I were running 5 minutes behind), flexible (one of my bridesmaids cut her hair short, so she didn’t need her hair done, so they were willing to help fix up the best man’s curly hair instead, thank you so much!) and accommodating with the requests of my bridal party and family, and worked quickly without sacrificing quality. Thank you ladies!! You deserve way more than 5 stars. Thanks for being a part of my most perfect day. -

I'm extremely self conscious about my appearance. Which is why on my wedding day, with everyone important in my life in the same room, with hundreds of photographs taken of me, I deserved to look and feel as beautiful as possible. And I wanted my mom, mother in law, and bridesmaids to feel the same. Even though I take pride in my makeup technique and can do my own glam look any day of the week, I'm lost when it comes to styling my hair. And I didn't want to do my own look on my wedding day. So, I looked to the professionals. Candace was straight forward from the beginning by providing me with a thorough rundown of her team's services, costs, and logistics. I loved the organization and even though the prices were higher than I was originally comfortable with, again, I needed professionals and I believe that your wedding day beauty is not something to cheap out on.
My hair is long and fine so I've always wanted extensions for volume and more length. Before my trial, I went to Sally Beauty Supply to get clip in extensions and I booked my trial well in advance before my wedding day to make sure I had the look I wanted. My stylist Allie was so sweet. She was patient with me through every question I had and worked fast with my hair extensions to achieve a partial updo. To a future bride reading this, COME PREPARED to your trial with the exact photo inspiration you want for your hair and makeup. Your stylists are not mind readers :)
On my wedding day, everything was SO SMOOTH. I was so afraid of running out of time but Allie assured me that we were running on schedule and we ended up finishing the entire team of girls plus myself EARLY. (I'm very particular of how my eyebrows are styled so I asked Allie if I could finish styling them myself with my own brow pencil and she said no problem! If you have a specific way you like your makeup, don't be afraid to step in and do something yourself if your stylist isn't quite sure!)
I would recommend this team to anyone who wants to look stunning on the most important day of your life. Thank you all! -

I used Candy Rose for my engagement session makeup and hair, and my wedding hair and makeup. Very pleased with both experiences. Candace is very communicative leading up to the wedding day, making sure everything is set and ready to go. They accomodated my need for engagement session hair and makeup relatively last minute which was much appreciated (we had a short engagement). The artist (forgot her name unfortunately but she was great!) was personable and open to whatever I wanted to do, she did a great job. I didn't really do a "wedding trial", I used the engagement session as my trial with the company, so my hair and makeup looks were different for both. There was no issue there and both artists were flexible. I had Makayla do my hair and makeup on the wedding day. She was a calming presence which I appreciated that morning, while also taking part in the banter my mom and I had while getting ready. I requested incorporating a braid into my low updo which she gladly did for me. My makeup came out exactly as I envisioned and lasted, even though she didn't use the physical airbrush machine I was expecting. She also did my mom's hair and makeup, and my daughter's hair as well. We were pleased with all services rendered and thought the prices were fair. Definitely recommend Makayla and Candy Rose! -

Candace, Jillian, and their team were absolutely amazing! They were on time and so fun to work with. They were patient and flexible with us despite having to add someone last minute, they made it work. Candace and Jillian were able to work with different hair types & skin tones which was very important and they pulled through. They had everyone looking beutiful! I would definitely recommend! -

Candace and her team were extremely professional and had impeccable timing on my wedding day. I was always so worried about makeup/hair running over, based on previous advice I’d received from brides. Candace and her team arrived on time and got to work while I started my day. I was so pleasantly surprised to walk downstairs and see they had already begun styling my bridesmaids :). We finished hair and makeup right on time and everyone looked amazing. My hair held up ALL day and all night. Highly recommend these ladies!!! -

Amazing service!
The stylists arrived early and were full of energy to get our morning going! They were so friendly and gracious, I was so pleased with the outcome. My hair and make up stayed intact throughout the whole day, even with the heat.

I am amazed at the work from Candy Rose Beauty. With one price I was able to get hair and makeup done for my shower, rehearsal dinner and of course for my whole wedding party the day of. Jeannine did a phenomenal job with everything. I was a little concerned about whether or not she would be able to work with my ethnic hair but, she had no issues and I've never looked more beautiful in my life. My whole wedding party was very happy and confident to face the big day. I would highly recommend Candy Rose Beauty. -

Candy Rose went above and beyond for our special day. Candace and Jillian were quick to answer any and all questions I had and responsive to my desires and thoughts during my trial and the day of. They were extremely accommodating for my trials as an out-of-state bride to ensure I was happy before the day of. I had 4 girls get their hair done and had the bouquet package for myself. The package was everything I could have hoped for and more. Candace and Jillian arrived at my venue early and were accommodating when I would get pulled away mid-hair and makeup to answer someone's question. We were done with ample time to spare and everyone looked amazing. My hair and makeup lasted the entire day with no problems. They even travelled to my venue for hair and makeup for my rehearsal. The pricing cannot be beat by any other local vendors. My entire bouquet package cost what I was being quote for just trial and day of hair and makeup by other vendors. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone and will definitely be using their services for future events. -

Flawless Hair and Makeup!
Candace did me and my wife’s hair and Jillian did our makeup. I have no words to the professionalism these two brought on our special day. From the moment we booked, to the moment they left for the day, everything went seamless. My bride was the most beautiful I have ever seen her (she says the same for me). We both love a very natural look and Jillian did exactly what we wanted (plus it stayed put through all the crying)! Our hair was the exact same. We couldn’t have been happier with the hair and makeup Candace and Jillian did for us. -

After the current pandemic changed our destination wedding plans, I was so nervous to do my own hair & makeup for my elopement on June 6th! I saw Candi Rose Events post on Facebook about their elopements & was instantly relieved. Candace was so responsive to my initial phone call & all my emails after. The stylist, Jillian, was absolutely amazing! I showed her one picture of the hair I was looking to do & just said I like a neutral, natural look & that's EXACTLY what she did!! Candace was amazing! She did the hair for 4 bridesmaids, 2 moms, and myself (the bride)! Our hair came out beautifully, mind you, we have all different textures and types, and lasted the whole night! I was nervous because we are all from NYC, so to get us all out to PA for trials was a no go, but for my trial, she worked fast, efficiently, and did just as amazing as she did for the wedding day. I would definitely recommend. -

Absolutely wonderful! The hair and makeup person were both on time, very easy to work with, and very friendly. They both did gorgeous work that myself and my bridal party got lots of compliments on. I had a baby in the room napping while getting everything done and they were quiet and very careful to not wake her. Every person got exactly what they wanted as far as hair goes. We showed pictures to the hair stylist and she made them come to life and look incredible. The makeup artist made me look flawless. I have never felt so pretty in all my life. Highly recommend hiring this team! You won’t be disappointed. -

We booked Candy Rose in a bit of a bind because our makeup artist dropped out. They were a local team to our venue and had great reviews: I'm so glad I booked them! Jenine especially was lovely - she totally nailed my bridal look. I was tanned and dewy and my makeup looked natural, but lasted the whole night! She was friendly and I think a handful of my bridesmaids want to book her for their upcoming weddings now! Most importantly, I was planning my wedding from abroad so didn't need a trial - Candy was so accommodating: you pay for what you need and aren't locked into extra frills for the sake of it. This really sold me on them. I would for sure book again! -

Destiny was my stylist with Candy Rose Events, she was amazing and was very qualified when doing hair for 6 women at my recent wedding. She was very detail oriented and the care for her job was obvious. Everyone was extremely happy with their hair! Working with Candace was also a breeze. She is a busy women so it does take some time for responses/invoices, especially during the hectic wedding season, but she was very attentive and I am extremely happy that I chose Candy Rose Events!
