  Last minute dress alterations. David's Bridal left us in a pickle days before the wedding. Gigi's really came thru for us. The dress came out perfect. God bless you for taking that stress off us. You get our business from now on. Thanks so much.

  Gigi has done an amazing job on my wedding gown. Its almost finished and Im so thankful it has been in her hands during this very stressful time. When I brought her my dress originally, it had more issues than I have time to list. I thought it was hopeless. Gigi was honest with me about what we could and couldn't do to the dress. She has taken so much time and effort since, to make sure I had the dress I had imagined. I know she has extended far beyond what was originally anticipated. And Im so appreciative of all her hard work. I can't wait for my final fitting. And even more, I cant wait to walk down the isle in the dress I have dreamed of.

  I made an appointment this past Saturday, and they were able to fit me in just 4 days later at a time that was convientent for me. Which is awesome especially since it's prom season and they are one of the few shops for alterations in our little town. Aside from the quick appointment I received, I had a GREAT experience with both ladies in the shop. They were both so sweet and accommodating. I'm not sure what these other ladies with the negative comments could possibly talking about the same lady! GiGi was a sweetheart and actually suggested a different route to take with the alterations to save me money but get the same look. I'm more than pleased with my experience and would recommend her to anyone wanting to use a small home-town business and get the same results...if not better! I will update once I get my dress back. Her prices are unbeatable & I've heard so many good things, I can only imagine how amazed I'll be by my dress once I get to put it on again and it fit! :)

  I can't say enough good things about candlelight bridals! Gigi is the best! So sweet and listens to everything you envision for your special day and makes it happen. Her talent is amazing. Not only did I feel like a princess in my dress, she treated me like one too. I never felt rushed or pressured. She did everything in her power to make me comfortable and happy. She has a great selection of not only wedding dresses, but prom and bridesmaids too! I would definatly recomend this shop to anyone looking for a dress and great customer service to go along with it!

  We had a last minute wedding on february 29th . They worked great under pressure got us everything we needed and it all fit beautifully. There jewelry accessories are beautiful also. Could not have done it without them. Everybody else was so commercialized and this place has a good home town feel. Thank you for helping to make our day beautiful. Todd and Laura

  Becky and her staff were such fun to work with. I won a dress from them at the Rockdale Citizen's annual bridal show last year and even though my dress was free they always treated me like any other bride having their 'special' day whenever I came in. They have a wonderful selection of dresses and the small size of their shop helps things feel personal instead of like you are at the Walmart of wedding dresses.

  I was really happy with the designer labels she carried and the prices. Never have I seen an in house master tailor available to give advise and do the alterations on site.

  Becky was such a pleasure to work with and provided us with wonderful service. The cake was great, the food was wonderful, and the flowers were beautiful! Becky also has a dress shop with wedding gowns, bridesmaids, and mother of the bride dresses, and she rents tuxedos as well. She is a one-stop wedding shop! Her prices are very affordable and her expertise is undeniable. She completely rescued my outdoor wedding when the rain poured in. My day would have been ruined if she hadn't stepped in and taken over with her creative, tasteful and elegant ideas. I highly recommend using Becky for ANY of your wedding needs!!!

  In the end I was happy that I chose Candlelight Bridal b/c the food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Candlelight Bridal is a little understaffed in my opinion and they need a better way to keep up with the Brides information. Becky usually handwrites all of the details down and it would be nice to have something typed that would be easier to read and understand. I had to do more checking up on the details of my wedding and I had to remind them several times about different things...but for the money I saved, it was worth it. I compared prices with a vendor in Conyers and Candlelight was almost $2000 cheaper! So my overall advice would be to go w/ them if you are not anal about details or if you have someone who can help you keep Candlelight on track.

  Stay away from gigi

  My experience with this woman was nothing short of horrifying and unprofessional. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Gigi was only kind on the first appointment. I only needed (2) alterations done. I needed my dress tightened and she was very slow to tighten it to my liking. She blamed my weight, which hasn’t fluctuated at all except maybe 5 or so pounds since I dropped the dress off. She actually weighed me in front of other customers on my 3rd fitting. She then charged me extra for additional fittings I would have never needed if she had done what I asked in the beginning. I have been nothing but kind and patient with these alterations despite my negative gut feeling. On my fourth fitting, the dress had finally been taken in, but it had been done incorrectly. I decided to take the dress and find someone else, kindly. I very calmly told her id like my $85 back and the response I got was “I’m not giving you anymore of my money”, and I’m not even sure what that means. As I tried to express my disappointment calmly and professionally, Gigi proceeded to talk over me, yelling at me and calling me crazy, about 7 or so times. She then yelled at me to get out of her shop and never come back. Bride to bride, please heed my warning. This sad excuse for a dress shop has all but ruined my confidence in my wedding dress. I have invested $360 in alterations and none of them are done. Please save yourselves and never ever use this place for anything.

  I am the Maid of Honor in an upcoming wedding. The bride gave Candlelight Bridals all of our measurements and they ordered our dresses.
  
  Dress Size Ordering Problem: We were supposed to receive the following sizes: 4, 6, 6, and 12. We received sizes 4, 6, 8 and 12. One of the bridesmaids was given a size 8 instead of the size 6 and needed alterations.
  
  Dress Switched Problem: The bride had picked up everyone's dress except mine (she was getting mine at a later date). When the bridesmaid that received the wrong size dress returned to the store with the bride to ask why a size 8 was ordered for her, they said that there was a mistake and she was supposed to be given the size 6 that had not been picked up yet (my dress). They gave this bridesmaid the size 6 dress, fitted it for her large chest, and told her to return in two weeks to pick up her altered dress.
  
  I was called that night by the bride and informed of the dress size switch. I now had a size 8 dress instead of a size 6 dress. I left work early the next day and drove an hour to Covington (I live in Duluth) to discuss the dress sizes. Gigi was not there but the size 8 was given to me and was too big. I was told to return next weekend to get it fitted. When I returned, I was fitted for the dress and told the price. I told Gigi that I had originally ordered the size 6 dress, which was given to another bridesmaid, and that I was not comfortable paying to get the size 8 taken down to a size 6, my original size.
  
  Dress Alteration Problem: The bridesmaid that had her alterations done went to pick up her altered dress on the designated day it was supposed to be done; it was not completed. She was told to return two weeks later.
  
  Overall, I would not recommend Candlelight Bridals. We have had to drive out to Covington multiple times to either get fitted for the dress size we originally ordered or to pick up a dress that was not ready on the designated date. Also, Gigi's disposition was not pleasant and difficult to communicate with.

  Terrible!!!!!!!!!!!! I have never had such a bad experience with any other bridal company with dresses. I am a bridesmaid in my sisters wedding and this place screwed up the dress size on everyone they measured. The only bridesmaid dress that was the correct size was the one my mother measured and called in the numbers herself. One of the bridesmaid dresses was 6 sizes too big. Each time I went they got two different measurements for me. They said they should have ordered me a size 10 according to may original measurements and the size 8 that was ordered for me was way too big. I am a size 2-4. I feel like they intentionally ordered the dresses too big just so we would have to pay for alterations. Both Becky and GiGi the alteration lady teamed up to make it seem like they didnt mess up. Gigi is very rude and hateful!!!!!!!!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

  If I could give negative stars I would. This place is absolute trash. I brought my nephews in to be sized for vests and paid that day. I was told they would be ordered the next Tuesday. Three weeks later they still had not ordered them. The vests came in a week before my wedding and the vest for my five year old nephew was an adult xs meaning it was a dress. The thing came down passed his knees. When I went back in to take it back and get my money back she got nasty and refused but said she would fix it for more money. A WEEK BEFORE MY WEDDING. When I got angry she screamed at me telling me to get out of her shop and called the police on me. The police said they use her and have never Had a problem so they didn't do anything. This woman is an extortionist. Never use this place. I will make sure everyone knows just what kind of establishment this is.

  I used Candle Light Bridals for all of my bridesmaid dresses and it was an AWFUL experience. They never ordered my MOH dress, and lied to us about it. We fought with them for over a month, and 3 weeks before my wedding we didn't have a dress for my MOH. I would NEVER EVER EVER recommend Candle Light Bridals for any service. It was TERRIBLE.
