Amazing Wedding Photographers

We had an absolutely amazing experience with Doug, Georgi, and the entire team at Candid Moments Photography! They were very communicative and responsive throughout the entire planning process, and they brought that sense of ease and organization to our wedding day as well. We both hate getting our photos taken, but they immediately made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera, and all of our photos are absolutely beautiful! Doug and Georgi perfectly captured the venue, all of the day’s events, and other special moments. They were also really flexible when we unexpectedly had to pause our first look session, and they added time to our sunset photo session so we could get more photos together, which was really nice. We couldn’t be happier with our experience with Candid Moments Photography, and we highly recommend them for your wedding!

Stunning Photos!

Simply the best! Doug drove 4 hrs for our wedding, went a day early to scope out the best spots for our photos as it was a new location for him, stayed an extra hour because "the party just started," made taking pictures so comfortable, and delivered the most beautiful photos! You won't regret it! Married 9/8/23.

10/10 Photographer!!!

Doug and his second shooter were next level amazing. They were true professionals and led the day - even in the 90 degree heat. Every little detail was thought out by both of them. From the moment Doug arrived, I knew things were going to run smoothly. He was also everywhere the entire day. Ever little kiss and bizarre dance move was captured by him. Our families and guests were all SUPER impressed. We are so beyond excited to get our photographs and can’t thank Candid Moments enough for making our day so special!

Belles Wedding 4-1-2023

Doug and his team at Candid Moments Photography were fantastic. From our first conversation all the way up to the wedding day, Doug listened to our concerns and offered guidance/suggestions. During our engagement shoot, he worked around the terrible weather and managed to get so many wonderful photos! On the day of the wedding he and Alex worked efficiently and did their best to again navigate around the weather in order to get the best shots possible. I would highly recommend hiring them and look forward to seeing how the photos of our wedding day turn out.

Best Wedding Photographer Ever!!

I cannot save enough great things about Doug and his team at Candid Moments! They coached us through all the most romantic poses, captured the beauty of our surroundings, and were the perfect amount of attentiveness to us throughout the day. Perfect wedding photographers!

Candid moments was the perfect company to use for my wedding photography. I had a ton of questions before deciding on a photographer and Doug answered every one of them. Both Doug and Georgi were the photographers at my wedding and they captured every moment I could’ve asked for. I got married at the Ballroom at Ellis Preserve and they were familiar with the venue and made sure to get shots at all of the beautiful spots outside. Doug really helped me figure out a timeline for the day of the wedding that would make everything run smoothly and not tire the guys out by starting them too early. To top it all off, candid moments are very affordable and they even allowed me to personalize my package. I was able to select what parts of the package I wanted or didn’t need to come up with something that worked perfectly for my wedding. I truly appreciate candid moments and the spectacular job they did with capturing my big day! I definitely recommend them!

Great Experience!

We made such a great choice choosing Candid Moments! We chose the more affordable option, which was to have them 'assign' two photographers, as opposed to us choosing. Our photographers were Rustin and Daniel, and our pictures turned out amazing! We've received so many compliments, and we're so happy with the results, I can't stop looking at them! I especially love the reception photos, I barely even noticed them taking pictures, but they captured such wonderful shots that showed how much fun everyone was having. It was overall just a really pleasant experience working with them, Gina was so friendly and responsive as well. We highly recommend Candid Moments!

Highly Recommended - Great Photos and Fun/Professional on the Wedding Day

Everyone we spoke to from Candid Moments Photography was polite, helpful and professional. I spoke with Doug over the phone who was very helpful guiding us about our wedding day schedule. We opted for a first look so we could take formal pictures before the ceremony and kept our photographer throughout the night to take candid photos of the reception.

Kevin was our photographer and he was wonderful. He was friendly and funny, and we felt completely at ease as he took our formal photos / family pictures. We got all the shots we were looking for.

The turnaround was quick - about a month after the wedding we had the digital copies of our photos. Our package also included two prints and those were great too.

Highly recommended and at a great price too!

Better than Disney!

We could not be happier with the service we had with Candid Moments! We actually had two weddings - a small one in Disney and a larger one back home in Philly. Honestly, we didn't think that anything could beat our Disney pictures. Let me tell you, we were wrong. Our pictures are even more beautiful than we could have ever imagined! We worked specifically with Georgi and Adam, who endured extreme heat to take our photos. They were an absolute dream to work with and had wonderful ideas to incorporate our families and make the whole picture process enjoyable (even with the heat!). Our family and friends also noted how kind and sweet the two gentlemen were throughout the whole day! Most notably, we had issues with the managers of our venue the day of the wedding, and our videographer was unable to be a part of one part of the day. Doug, the owner of Candid Moments, sent us a very sweet email explaining the whole situation before it even became an issue with us. He handled the whole thing so well and we could not be happier with our end result! My cousin will actually be using Candid Moments for her wedding next year and my sister also has plans to do a shoot with them as well! We really could not be more pleased!

Amazing overall experience

I am beyond satisfied that I used Candid Moments Photography for my wedding. I’m ecstatic! Ten years ago I was in a wedding that they did, and ever since then I have followed them on social media and their website. Photography is a big part of my life, and it was one of the most important aspects of my wedding. I made the right choice with Candid Moments, and Doug and Georgi were amazing, professional, and I was right to completely entrust such an important day to them. I’m in love with the photos and their talent. And not only that, the entire process from start to finish has been easy and enjoyable. Stunning Photos that Capture the Best Candid Moments!

Doug took phenomenal photos and captured all the wonderful candid moments of our wedding. As someone whose not a fan of the camera or photogenic, Doug's friendly nature, humor, and direction helped me calm my nerves and took over 5,000 stunning shots! While some of the poses seemed a bit awkward at the time, they work. Trust him! The slideshow came out picture-perfect along with the printed canvas. Proudly displayed his work of art in our living room!

Doug is very accommodating and flexible, he came down to DC for our engagement shoot at the National Mall. The engagement shoot was supposed to last for an hour and a half with a few locations, but Doug spent 3 hours patiently shooting at a few monuments and a dozen locations. His attention to detail paid off as the spectacular photos were used in our guest book, slide shows, and printed.

Doug and Gina are highly organized and really easy to work with frequent communication before, during, and post-wedding. Highly recommend Doug to artfully capture all of your best candid moments!

Candid Moments were exactly what we were looking for!

After looking through various vendors in our wedding area we chose Candid Moments Photography to do our wedding, and we made the right choice! From the beginning, Doug (the owner) and Gina (their office manager) were so good about communication and expectations. They clearly laid out what each package included, took the time to see what we wanted out of our wedding photography and helped us choose the right package for us. We did not feel pressured for an up-sell or add-ons that we really did not want. During the planning process, Doug was fantastic, but he’s a busy guy (Because he and his other photographers are amazing)! Gina was AMAZING when it came to communication. And Doug took the time to conference call us a few times while planning the event to help with photography timelines, offer suggestions and make sure we were getting what we wanted. We really appreciated his help and expertise. On the big day though, our photographer was Kevin – and we could not have been happier with him. He called us the week before to finalize timelines, again – offer suggestions and make sure everything was in order. From that phone call we could tell that we were going to have a good time working with Kevin. On the day of, Kevin made sure we had his contact information and kept in constant contact leading up to and during the events. He helped staged the perfect “first look” photographs, and really made the whole process a lot of fun! During the ceremony, I must admit that I was not focused on Kevin, only on my husband to be. But, after doing our first look photos and outdoors portraits before the ceremony – we knew he’d capture everything we wanted. After the ceremony he did an awesome job of keeping to our timeline and commanding the attention of our family – which let’s be honest, for any family – it’s like herding cats. But, they listened to him – we got all our requested family shots with time to spare. At the reception we did our thing and Kevin continued to photograph what we were looking for – the venue, people portraits, candid moments, the details, etc. Our guests were even having a great time with him. I honestly cannot wait to see our photos, I just know that Kevin was the perfect person to capture our big day – and we could not be happier with him and the whole Candid Moments Photography team. They were amazing, and we would recommend them to anyone. Thank you!

Candid Moments Photography is AMAZING! I was in my best friends wedding 3 years ago and she used CMP for her wedding. I loved working with them so much that I asked Doug for his card before the night was over and told him "when I get married, I will be calling you to be my photographer". I was not even engaged at the time but loved them and their work so much that I already knew I wanted them to photograph my wedding. Well...2 years after that I called and booked them for my own wedding. I used Georgi and Kevin as well as Brad their videographer. They were all great to work with and their photos/videos captured every single moment of that special day. I worked with Georgi the most as he did our engagement shoot and worked with myself and my bridesmaids as we got ready. He was very personable and fun to work with! I was worried about looking "staged" or not natural and when I expressed my concern he simply said "You won't even know I am there, just enjoy your day and I will capture every moment"..boy was he right!! I got all the formal pictures I wanted and the candids are some of my favorite! He never pulled me in different directions and I enjoyed every minute of that day! Gina their studio manager was also amazing to work with! I always had a million questions and she always answered back very promptly and helped me with everything a long the way! I cannot say enough good things about CMP! I loved working with them in my own wedding as well as several other that I have been in. They are truly talented and amazing at what they do! Thanks to their amazing photos and videos and can look back and remember every special moment of my wedding day!

Working with Candid Moments Photography was an amazing experience! First off, the communication was great. Gina and Doug made sure to keep us updated and answered all of our questions. They also led us in the direction of a first look, something we are so happy to have done! We picked Kevin as our photographer because of his reviews of making the process relaxing - something an anxious bride like me greatly appreciated! Kevin and Adam, our second photographer, really kept the flow of the photographs relaxed and fun. All our family and friends loved them! Jeff and I had a bit of a mishap and needed to do some of the family pictures during cocktail hour, but Kevin and Adam were able to get them ALL done in time for us to still enjoy a part of the cocktail hour, something both Jeff and I greatly appreciated. We got to see some of the pictures Kevin took and can NOT wait to see the finished products in a few weeks. We highly recommend Candid Moments along with Kevin and Adam!

I highly recommend Candid Moments!! They were amazing from the start. We worked with Doug and Adam the day of, but even talking to Gina; everyone has been awesome! The pictures are beautiful and I can’t stop looking at them! I love how attentive they are; and when I have a question, they get back to me within 24 hours. It was so cold and windy out the day of the wedding but they still wanted to get outside pictures; I am grateful because there are so many great ones and I don’t feel like I am missing out!! I mostly love the "outside of the box" photos that Doug took; never did I think, that I would be standing on a table, in my wedding dress, in the middle of the hotel lobby and it is one of my absolute favorite photos! After a lot of research and looking at so many photographers work, I was fortunate enough to find Candid Moments Photography at a bridal show. The owner, Doug Burns, was so kind and I was so impressed with him and his work that I knew that I wanted to have him photograph our wedding. We first met with Doug at his studio where he showed us more of his work, as well as his other photographers work and also went over in detail packages and pricing. He was extremely professional and took a genuine interest in getting to know more about us personally. While all of his team of photographers do outstanding work we decided to go with Doug because we really loved the artistry of his photos. We definitely made a fantastic decision! We just recently received our photos and are completely thrilled with them! Our wedding day went by so quickly and it was so hard to remember a lot because so much was happening, but Doug was wonderful in having captured all of the moments we were missing as well as the moments we were caught up in! He was so friendly and easy to work with and so many people, especially my mom, commented on how much they liked him. Also, I must mention how fabulous his Studio Manager, Gina, is - she was so quick to respond to any questions I had as well as constantly communicating with us before and after the wedding. There aren't words to describe my satisfaction with Candid Moments Photography. From the first time we met with Doug and saw his portfolio and what a kind, easy to talk to person he was we knew we had to have him. Once we had our engagement photoshoot we had no questions that it was the right decision. Not only were the photos completely breath-taking (on a day with no so favorable weather, about 40 degrees and high winds..) he remained professional, fun to work with and gave us an amazing product. The day of our wedding we had the privilege to have Doug and Kevin photograph our day and they really did feel like part of our family. They made sure that we got amazing shots but were never demanding or bossy-- they gave us options and ultimately let us do what we felt we wanted to do to get the most out of our big day. Our friends and family all said how much they enjoyed being photographed by the team at Candid Moments and how having them there to capture the day just enhanced their experience-- it never felt like outsiders watching us, they just felt like they belonged. My husband and I were worried about looking staged or posed but these guys have such an amazing way at getting you to have fun and be yourself while still making sure that you get that shot that you wanted. I would also be remiss to not include Gina, who did the communicating and coordination, she was a true pleasure to work with and always responded in such a prompt and helpful way. I will tell anyone that asks that booking with Candid Moments is the best decision we made as part of our wedding day and know that we will not only treasure our photos for a lifetime but also the experience of working with these amazing people. We worked with Kevin as our lead photographer, but we also had contact with the owner Doug initially, and Gina throughout the whole process. Everyone we dealt with was fantastic! We really wanted to use them after being recommended by a family friend and Doug worked with our budget to get us a package perfect for us! Kevin was an absolute pleasure to work with and was great at being flexible when plans had to change a bit due to those wedding day glitches! He made sure we had every shot we wanted and made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera! I felt completely at ease all day! There was a chance of rain on our big day and Gina was so great at working with me to try to come up with a plan and she made me feel like no matter what we would still have great photos! I used Candid Moments for my wedding on July 8th, 2017. Kevin was the lead photographer and Adam was the 2nd photographer. They were absolutely amazing! We said that we wanted a lot of candid photos that captured the story of the day (because we didn't have a videographer) and that's exactly what they did. They were both laid back and easy to work with. The followed our plan exactly and had great ideas for shots. They worked quickly through our list of photos and made sure to get all the ones we wanted. Our photos are stunning and we cannot wait to get them developed and frame them in our home. Candid Moments was the vendor we enjoyed working with the most! Doug and Gina were extremely responsive and professional. Gina always kept us informed on what to expect before our meetings, coordinated our the engagement photo shoot and wedding day details and was extremely helpful designing our wedding album.
We had Doug and Daniel as our wedding photographers and loved all the pictures they took. Doug made us feel super comfortable right from our first meeting. He made sure he got all the shots I requested and also got tons of great candid pictures.

We were so happy with Candid Moments. From the beginning, my husband Ben did not want to spend too much money on photos and insisted we only needed 1 photographer. After initially speaking to our photographer Doug- he asked if we wanted 2 photographers but was never pushy. About a month before the wedding I decided I wanted 2 photographers and we booked Kevin. I am SO thankful we had 2 and so was my husband Ben. Doug got all of our shots from the front of the church and Kevin got the back. They were both very creative and posed us for shots I would never have thought of! Also- Doug was wonderful with children. I have a nephew that is very shy and Doug really cheered him up and helped get him to smile. We had 20 people in our bridal party and 8 ring bearers/flower girls that Doug and Kevin managed very well. Doug even stayed late to catch some late night images. We are so in love with every photo. Also- Gina is awesome! She was so helpful and quick to respond with any questions we had. I'm so happy we had Candid Moments for our wedding day!

Kevin was great to work with!! He stayed calm, cool, and collected under pressure (bridal party was an hour late to the pre-church photo shoot-- whoops!!) and produced amazing pictures! I (the bride) was worried about not having enough time to take all of the pictures I had planned, but Kevin assured me we'd be fine, and he was right -- it all worked out and I am more than pleased with the final products. My husband and I love our slideshow and we are excited to show all our friends and family photos from our special day. We'll cherish them forever! Thank you so much! :)

Don't look any further... went to friend's wedding and she recommended, and we used and we loved! Had two amazing photographers- made you feel comfortable (we are very camera shy), Lead photographer Doug and 2nd photographer Kevin. Did first look photos and really were able to enjoy the day spent with the bridal party and the groom's party and family! prompt responses to emails- assistant Gina amazing! We found Candid Moments when we were looking through photo books at our venue, and as soon as we saw the beautiful landscape photos at sunset, we were sold. Doug was great to work with from the beginning, and is an incredible artist. Gina was also very helpful in coordinating our photos and providing all of the necessary details, and she was always so friendly. We were beyond impressed with our engagement photos, which made us even more excited for the wedding photos. We received our wedding photos today, and I hope it says something that I am already writing the review. We were completely blown away by the emotion, love and happiness caught on film. Doug and Georgi represented who my husband and I are as a couple beautifully, as well as our family and friends. Not only were they great photographers, but they also helped organize the day and keep us on schedule. We highly recommend Candid Moments Photography! From our meeting with Doug the Owner and Adam, whom we booked as our engagement and wedding photographer, to our emails with Gina the Studio Manager, Candid Moments Photography has been wonderful and professional to deal with. They were prompt and clear in their responses to our questions and, perhaps most importantly, we love our photographs!! I love looking at our photographs because I feel like they really captured us and who we are together. On our wedding day, Adam and our second photographer Mike were on time, came with back-up equipment, helped us wrangle our large wedding party, and made sure we felt comfortable during our photographs – even though both my husband and I find it awkward when posing for photographs. Though it rained on our wedding day, Adam and Mike helped turn that into a positive by capturing some amazing photographs of us outside in the rain under a large umbrella.

We booked with Doug at Candid Moments Photography during our first meeting. We were impressed by his professionalism and eager attitude. Over the course of the year leading up to the wedding, Gina in the office made sure we were kept updated on each step of the process. The day of the wedding, Doug and Kevin arrived on time and made everything so easy! We had obtained permits for photography locations around center city Philadelphia at the recommendation of Doug and Gina. The locations were so beautiful and our pictures turned out amazing. I would definitely use this company again! Adam was our photographer for our engagement pics and he knows how to make you look amazing!! We love our engagement pics as does everyone else who sees them. It is really helpful if you are on the fence about engagement pics to get them done by a photographer to get comfortable with the person and also to get used to someone taking pictures of you all day. We did this and it worked out so well - we used Adam for our wedding day recently - He is super nice, fun to work with, funny and very creative - My fiance and I aren't big picture takers but we both felt very comfortable with him and not awkward at all! It is a weird thing to be photographed all day but he made it fun. He showed us some of the pics right after he took them and I think they're gonna be awesome! I cant wait to get our pics back!
He also had Mike with him that day as the 2nd shooter and he was super nice as well. He spent the begininng of the afternoon with my groom and his groomsmen and they all liked him as well. He had his own ideas about different poses and places we could take pics so I am so excited to those pics too ! Also very laid back, great sense of humor and easy to work with !
And they both got along with my dog (who was in both my engagement pics and wedding pics)- major plus in my book! You will definitely not regret your decision if you book with these guys!

We had Adam as our only photographer for our February 27th wedding and November 20th Engagement Photo shoot. We loved him! From the moment we met him we just hit it off. We only really met with him to be honest, but after my Husband and Adam discussed living in Binghamton and the meaning of life (44), it was so clear we had to go with Adam. He is funny, creative and super wonderful to work with. His pictures are simply put, stunning! It was really important to us that we have action shots and pictures that reflected who we were and how happy we were. Plus we are silly and that really helped when it came to working with Adam because he is a little silly too! We hated posed pictures that felt to us very fake and disingenuous and Adam was able to help us achieve that goal. The action shots from our wedding ceremony and especially our first dance were unbelievable. He capture things I couldn't even imagine. If you are looking for an amazing photographer who will capture all the little things, then he is your man hands down! We also had an amazing experience with Gina who handled all the scheduling and emails and Doug who managed our edits. The entire staff are kind, courteous and professional. It was such a pleasure to work with Candid Moments!

Candid Moments is simply the BEST!!! My husband and I recently got married and we had Doug as our lead photographer and Georgi as our second photographer. They both shot other family members weddings and we loved their photos so much that we booked them as soon as we got engaged, and I'm so glad we did. They were so much fun to work with, so professional, and are truly talented photographers. The day of the wedding we were running about a half hour behind and had planned to do all of our photos before the ceremony. Doug was really patient with us and figured out how to change the agenda on the fly and was able to capture all the sites and locations we were hoping for. We had so much fun with them all day and had faith in their work and expected to get some great photos, but we were blown away when we saw the sample photos from our wedding this past week! My wife and I used Candid Moments for our wedding back in July of 2015. Out of all of the various elements that are coordinated before, during, and even after the wedding, we found that Doug (main photographer) and Rustin (secondary photographer used during the day) were the most easy-going wedding professionals to deal with. We were completely blown away with the level of photography we received with Candid Moments.

On the actual wedding day, Doug was assigned to be with the Bride and her bridesmaids while Rustin came with the guys. I would absolutely recommend having two photographers as we felt that they were able to capture both sides of the "story" leading up to the big event. Not only were Doug and Rustin professional, but they were so easy to deal with, as stated above. I have been to other weddings where it's pretty much the photographers way or the highway and that was not the case at all. Doug and Rustin gave us recommended photography shots based on our beautiful wedding location and insisted that we did certain shots during specific times of day to capture the light and sunset. We trusted them both and were in awe of the final product.

It's also important to mention that we used a videographer as well as a photographer, but they were not the same company. In all honesty, you couldn't tell that these two teams didn't meet before. The level of professionalism amongst the two of them was outstanding. There were moments throughout the evening that both teams wanted to capture the same shot and they worked so well with one another - another reason why we felt like the day went so smoothly.

The process of creating the final wedding book could not have gone any better and we are so happy with the final product! In the end, I would highly recommend Candid Moments to any one who is getting married. There is a reason they receive 5 stars across the board. Thanks again!!

Doug and Candid Moments Photography were absolutely AMAZING on your wedding day!!! Doug is so extremely talented, creative and we feel so lucky to have worked with him. He captured our day beautifully even after the wind on our blistering cold winter wedding knocked over his lighting. He did not panic and grabbed his back up lights and our pictures turned out even better than expected. Let me start off with saying that my husband and I are not the most naturally photogenic people and never know how to pose for proper photos. Doug was so instrumental in placing us in flattering, beautiful ways that we love all of our engagement and wedding pictures! We were also extremely lucky to have some very unique photos in the dark woods and under an umbrella in the rain on our wedding day. My husband and I had a wonderful experience working with Candid Moments Photography. We had Doug and Adam as our photographers for our wedding and we could not be happier with that decision. I learned of Candid Moments at a bridal show and the pictures they had on display left a lasting impression. I knew then that I had found my photographer; I just had to convince my fiance! After all is said and done the photographs are what we have to look back on our wedding day. Choosing to use Candid Moments Photography was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. The photos are absolutely amazing and I can't tell you the number of comments I received from our guests about the photography. During the reception, a slideshow played of the ceremony photos which our guests loved. Doug truly captured the special moments throughout our wedding day- I have so many photos that truly are "worth a thousand words." Doug was also a key player in helping things to run smoothly in order to get the shots we discussed in advance. Doug and Gina at Candid Moments Photography came as a recommendation. After seeing Doug's photo's from another wedding, we knew that he took amazing pictures. From the minute we sat down to talk to Doug, he made us feel at ease and we knew that he would be able to take any shots we wanted him to. We were able to get a feel for how he worked while doing our engagement photos. He made us feel completely comfortable (despite the oddly frigid temperatures in late April). The day of the wedding, he arrived a few hours early to scope out the grounds of the venue so he could make sure to get some really great shots. We had my niece and 2 nephews, 6 and 4 years old, and he not only got them to stay still, and pose, but he got them to have some really great smiles. We can't wait to get our pictures back so we can see how well they turn out.

We looked into many photographers for our October 17th wedding and when we met with Doug we knew they were the ones we wanted to go with. Doug helped us create a package that fit within our wedding budget that allowed us to have everything we wanted. We met Doug at an open house at Cairnwood. After researching photographers and reviewing many wedding web sites, with glowing reviews, we decided we wanted Doug to photograph our wedding. We were very pleased with our decision! Doug was a pleasure to work with, throughout the planning process as well as on our wedding day. About nine months before our wedding, we met with Doug. He wanted a chance to get to know us and find our what we were looking for in a photographer. On our wedding day, Doug and Adam were punctual and ready to go. They captured the best moments of our wedding day and our pictures are amazing! We couldn't be more pleased with our pictures. We got about 1200 images on a flash drive. They know this venue! Gorgeouspictures around the grounds and the house. There is a reason they are promoted by Cairnwood.

Just a few things to take note of, if you book with Candid Moments.

They ask for a detailed list of pictures that you would like taken during the wedding. I spent a long time listing the pictures we wanted, naming each person I wanted in each picture. Doug was able to get the immediate family ones that we wanted because we took them prior to wedding. However, I also listed a few pictures that our families wanted of family members not involved in the wedding (i.e. My dad's siblings, my mom and her cousins) and a few pictures I wanted of friends (i.e. My two friends from growing up and me). I assumed, since I gave Doug the detailed list prior to the wedding, that Doug would take the pictures. They were not taken. I didn't think it was my responsibility to remind him. Again, we love our pictures but want other people to be aware of the situation. Follow up on must have pictures.

They do not take any pictures during dinner. Yes, I wanted them to eat, but thought they'd stagger meal time.

When ordering prints, some pictures can only be done in the 8 by 12 size. If you want 8 by 10, please stress that when ordering.

We first found Candid Moments Photography at a local bridal show. When we first met with Doug the owner he explained the entire process from start to finish and was very helpful and offered a variety of wedding packages. We chose Sean Schofield to be our photographer for our wedding. He was an absolute joy to work with and I highly recommend this super talented photographer. He also shot our engagement photos which came with our wedding package and they also turned out amazing. Sean was able to capture the beauty of our wedding and also took photos of all the small details that helped make our day so special. We woke up to a very stormy March day which halted plans for photos outdoors, but Sean was able to make our photos beautiful by choosing unique spaces inside. Our package came with a highlight video which we were able to share with our friends and family which was great. We are now working on finalizing our wedding album. I highly recommend Sean and Candid Moments Photography as a photographer for your next event.

I LOVE DOUG & HIS ENTIRE STAFF! It was such a pleasure to have them be apart of my special day. Everyone that is apart of Candid Moments is so friendly and helpful! I found them from a friends wedding and knew that I had to have them for my wedding. We did our engagement pictures with him and love them. Leading up to the wedding he was very organized, and they were amazing to communicate through via email. The day of the wedding they were very calm and relaxed and made sure that we got through all the pictures that we wanted. Both Doug and Ashley were fun and had a great eye for pictures. A great feature that he had was that during the reception they edited some of the earlier photos and displayed them for my guest to see. I can't wait to see the final product of them all, but I know it will be amazing from working with him for our engagement photos. Candid Moments Photography is the best! Adam was our main photographer. He is extremely talented, passionate about his work, and has a great vision. I have been trying to put into words how amazing Candid MOments Photography is since my wedding in March. I was referred to him by a friend who had the most amazing wedding canvases at her home, they were just breath taking. I knew I had to use them. My mother and I met with Doug at his studio and he showed us more amazing photos and my mother agreed we didn't have to look anywhere else. We booked that day (and for engagement photos that he made a guest book with equally gorgeous pics). Doug was easy to work with and made my husband who is not comfortable taking pictures actually have a good time with it. He was professional and fun to work with!! Our proofs were done quickly along with a slideshow for my guests to view. We relived our wedding through each and every photo. I could honestly go on and on but I think his work speaks for itself. We are so unbelievably happy and choosing candid moments was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We can't wait to work with them again in the future!

I'm not one to really write reviews, but I found when I was planning my wedding all I had to go on was the opinions and reviews of other brides that used the vendor I was researching. I can't say enough great things about Doug and the Candid Moments Photography Team. While I can't say that they were the least expensive vendor, I am a big believer in you get what you pay for, so for the beautiful photos and experience we received through working with Candid Moment, I'd have to say that we got a bargain. I'm not sure what more you can say about a company and vendor when you honestly just couldn't have imagined the experience going any smoother or more seamless. We love our pictures, our friends and family love them, and I could not be happier with our decision to go with Candid Moments Photography. One last note of advice, if you are going to cut your expenses anywhere don't do it on the pictures, your wedding day flies by, and all you have to remember one of the most memorable days of you life is pictures. Sooo...Go with Candid Moment Photography! You won't be sorry!

Doug and his team at Candid Moments did an amazing job photographing our wedding! I knew from seeing their work online that we would have beautiful wedding photos but I was blown away when I actually saw mine. We got married mid-July when it was 100 degrees and humid outside. I was sure we wouldn't get the outdoor shots I wanted or that we would all look sweaty. However Doug and Georgie endured the heat, photographing us for hours and talking us through some really creative poses. Once I saw our photos, I could not believe how gorgeous they were! Doug and Georgie didn't miss a second of the ceremony or reception and included lots of details and great moments. My husband and I couldn't be happier with our photos and would definitely work with Candid Moments again!

Doug Burns was an awesome photographer! He made me feel comfortable in front of the camera - which does not come natural for me. Anytime I emailed or called about any concerns him and his team were very responsive. Unfortunately it rained on my wedding day, but Doug was quick to contact me and came up with a new day of itinerary that put me at ease! I hired Doug Burns to photograph my wedding day after having worked with him at 2 weddings prior where I was a bridesmaid. Doug made our day go smoothly, my husband and I were comfortable and relaxed the whole day with him. We had a crazy day of weather, it was a very hot day so Doug was constantly making sure we were ok, letting us take breaks as we needed while still getting all the photography that was so important to us. Right after my ceremony we got a huge rain storm. Doug was so familiar with my venue that he knew of a meeting room upstairs that had great lighting and was able to get all of my family photos done without missing a step. Some of our favorite photos are of us in the rain too, so the weather didn't phase him one bit.
When we got our photos were just blown away. Besides the creative and beautiful portraits, we saw that he captured all of the moments that we didn't get to see during the day. It was like re-living our wedding day all over again. He was able to capture moments that we might have never seen all while blending in with the crowd. We never felt like we were missing anything, we attended our entire cocktail hour and enjoyed our wedding day. I'd recommend Doug and Candid Moments to anyone, they are worth every penny!

My husband and I chose to use Candid Moments Photography for our recent wedding. From the moment we walked in and met with Doug and his assistant Niki, we felt right at home. When we left after that first meeting, we looked at each other and said "We want them."

Doug was super professional, yet put us at ease right away. He has these amazing visions and is extremely creative. He organized all of the photos we wanted, took a ton of action photos, and was more than happy to take specific shots at the drop of a dime. I have been to many weddings where it seems as if the photographer is in the bride and groom's face the entire time...I didn't even notice Doug there! He was not intrusive in any way. Doug was also extremely flexible and willing to work with us, planning out the day and having another photographer taking photos of my husband getting ready, as he stayed with me and my bridesmaids.

We opted to get the photo booth at the reception, which is offered by Candid Moments. In the beginning, my parents thought we were crazy and didn't understand why we got a photo booth. Three weeks later, they are RAVING about what a hit it was! The photo booth comes with all kinds of fun masks, hats, and props which my family and friends had a BLAST using. Definitely get the photo booth...it's TOTALLY worth it!

Overall, I can't write a better recommendation for this photographer. I have recommended them to anyone who will listen. TOP NOTCH!!!

Doug Burns from Candid Moments Photography photographed our wedding. He did an absolutely amazing job. He is friendly, easy going, and completely outstanding at photography. I found out about Doug when he photographed a friend's wedding and I saw how beautiful her wedding photos were. Plus I saw other weddings posted on his website and he really takes some beautiful pictures! Honestly EVERY picture is so good! You will not be disappointed. He has a creative eye for some absolutely beautiful shots; we were so happy with all the photos from our wedding day. As you look at the many pictures taken, Doug captured our special day perfectly. He is very good at catching those "candid moments" and the pictures do not appear forced or posed. We really liked the natural, candid feel of his photos. We could not be happier with our choice to hire Doug to photograph our wedding and we can't wait to get our wedding album from Candid Moments next! I don't even know where to start... Doug was amazing and made me feel like a movie star. He is truly a magician with the camera and not only does he take gorgeous photos he is a delight to work with. When my 3 year old nephew had a meltdown during family portraits Doug made goofy faces while slapping his own head to distract him... we were all impressed by his dedication to getting that perfect shot. My husband and I couldn't be happier with Doug and the staff at Candid moments. Our wedding photographer for the day was Adam (Request him! You will not be sorry! So talented!). Adam was timely (even early!) on the day of the wedding, worked very hard to get all of the shots we wanted, and had a lot of patience and professionalism throughout the day. Doug was willing to work with us on our wedding budget to find a package to suit our needs. Although I found the pricing to be slightly high, it was the quality of the images and the wedding album that made me choose Candid Moments. I hope to use Candid Moments for family portraits in the future. We are so happy with our choice!

My husband and I worked with Doug Burns and his team at Candid Moments Photography to capture every angle of our big day. We met with Doug about 2 months in advance to walk through our wedding plans and discuss each other’s expectations. On the day of the wedding, Doug and his assistant Adam delivered on everything that we had discussed in our meeting. He went to the Stone House on his own to familiarize himself with the reception site and really helped us to work quickly through the photos we wanted so we could enjoy the company of our guests who came in from all over the east coast. About 3 weeks after the wedding we received our proofs and were making selections for thank you cards and canvas pictures. We’re looking forward to seeing the finished products in the coming months.

Doug is FABULOUS!!! I looked at over 100 photographers online and in my eyes no one compared to Candid Moments. We took our engagement pictures at a ski resort and they went right up to the top of the mountain with us and then our wedding day i was blown away with what he did for us. I had told him what type of setting i was looking for-for they day of our wedding to get some pictures. I wanted rustic charm ..and old barn, stone walls, big fields, etc. Well he nailed it and went to this persons house who he didn't know and asked if we could borrow there property for 1 hour. They were more then happy to help us. You wont find that in any other photographer. Bottom line you will be sorry if you dont give Doug a chance and go to his studio and look at his work. Some people think he is alittle pricey but he was a good couple hundred dollars less then some of the people i looked at and his work was 10 times better. Doug Burns of Candid Moments is wonderful. He is the most helpful, non-intrusive photographer I've ever met. He was so patient with our crazy families and so flexible. You could grab him at any time to take a picture for you. He wasso easy to work with and was just pleasant the entire wedding. He was professional but not stuff which is perfect for any wedding. He and his assistant seemed to be everywhere but never got in the way. They captured every moment of my wedding so perfectly. The pictures he produced are priceless. He has such a gift in the way he photographs people. My pictures were wonderful. I'm having such a hard time picking out the best. His creative eye just captures the day the way nothing else can. His prices are so reasonable and a great value for what you get in the end. The pictures are really magnificent. I highly recommend Candid Moments. Doug and his assistant were AMAZING on the day of our wedding. I found them through online reviews and trusted my gut and am so glad i did. They were amazing because I know they captured some beautiful photographs and they weren't in your face. (I hate going to weddings and having the photographers everywhere...I am sure the pictures are lovely...but I end up watching them and not the bride and groom.)

They were polite to everyone and knew how to make everyone laugh when we were getting tired. I also LOVED Doug's enthusiam to take more and more pictures. He was so excited about our location and I loved the excitement!

Candid Moments Photography captured our wedding in photojournalistic style. The pictures relive the emotions and the memories of the day. The photographers were friendly and personable while professional. Candid Moments Photography also provided all photos via CD enabling them to be reproduced at will. Highly recommended! (In fact, I recommended three of my friends to them, and all loved them!) Their prices have gone up since our wedding, but their work is worth it. (Personal tip: don't skimp on your photographer!)

I was interested in Candid Moments Photography from a friend's wedding. I so impressed with their work and presence at her wedding, and of course she highly recommended them. After speaking to Candid Moments about their availability, I researched their photographer, Georgi, and loved his portfolio. Georgi was my photographer for both my engagement shoot in Philadelphia and my wedding in NY's Hudson Valley. He was friendly, funny, and enthusiastic from the moment we met. He put my fiance and I at ease as soon as we started taking pictures. Giving direction, making us laugh, and scoping out inspiring shots to snap of us. I paid for Candid Moments to travel from PA to NY to shoot our wedding, and they agreed to stay overnight the night before at a local hotel to be available first thing in the morning for us! At our wedding Georgi was great, got all the shots we wanted, even making sure we got every last portrait with family and friends on our list. Kevin was our second shooter and he was so much fun to work with! Kevin got some awesome pictures of the guys getting ready, and both Georgi and Kevin made the whole photography aspect of the wedding day as simple and natural as possible. Gina was a wonderful contact person in the studio, always quick to respond kindly and working hard to get things our quickly. I love my photos, I know I made the right choice by having Georgi and Candid Moments travel for our wedding.

Giorgi was our photographer for our April 2016 wedding and we could not have been more pleased. He is laid back yet very professional. We knew that we wanted to work with Candid Moments before even meeting with Doug. I would tour different venues in Bucks County and always gravitated toward these beautiful leather bound albums. Each time, I was told that Candid Moments made a sample book to show off the venue.

When we finally met with Doug and Niki it was very clear that Candid Moments was for us. They were knowledgeable about what needed to be planned, the best places to take photos at our venue, and how to organize the day.

Doug is incredibly personable and flexible. After rescheduling our engagement photos at Villanova a few times due to rain, we finally got a beautiful night. When our favorite parts of campus were under construction, Doug thought up great alternatives and made it work. He even took a few unplanned detail shots for fun.

All of the proofs come on cute flash drives labeled with Candid Moments in a silver tin. The only thing I wasn't expecting was to pay for our engagement proofs. I thought it was in the contract, but an extra $250 wasn't a huge mistake for rights to those photos.

Leading up to our wedding, Doug sent along detailed emails to outline the day and plans for group photos. He and Georgi were prompt and enthusiastic the whole day. It was hectic and hot, but they took the most amazing photos! Doug even suggested I walk across a busy street to take a photo on a hill by my house. I was nervous but they were well worth it - a fun experience too!

Afterwards, the gallery and photobook planning were easy to arrange. Kristin went above and beyond to make sure our exact changes were made each time. She worked tirelessly through the power outages this winter to stay in close communication with me every step of the way. It took a long time to get it perfect, but it is! I now have the beautiful leather album I wanted all along.

You can't go wrong with Candid Moments and Doug does the best job of making sure you get exactly what you want :)

We used Candid Moments Photography for our wedding on December 1, 2012. We had previously had another photographer booked but were unhappy with his responsiveness and general creativity with photos. Our venue raved about Candid Moments Photography so I decided to check them out.
I was right away impressed with Doug’s responsiveness. I had filled out the online information request and had a phone call from him first thing the next morning. When meeting him in person, I was immediately struck by the information and advice that he provided. I could tell right away that he knew exactly what he was doing, especially since we were dealing with some issues that made our photography schedule complicated. I felt extremely confident in knowing that he would do a great job and that my concerns with our original photographer were warranted. Thankfully they happened to have our date free and we decided to cancel our previous photographer. This was THE best decision that I made in wedding planning.
In addition to Doug, we added a 2nd photographer (Ashley). Doug also brought his assistant Nikki to edit photos during the reception. All of them were WONDERFUL. They were punctual on our wedding day and even my husband commented often how comfortable they made us feel. Doug is such a perfectionist and as we were taking photos we knew right away that they were going to be amazing and creative. Candid Moments set up a slide show during our reception on a laptop and our guests were RAVING....one month later and we are still having comments about the photos people saw during the reception. In fact, some of our guests "liked" Candid Moments on Facebook so that they could see the sneak peek photos as soon as they were posted!
We could not be happier with our experience with Candid Moments and cannot wait to see the rest of our photos. We have already recommended their services to others and will continue to do so. Our experience with them made our wedding day perfect.

Most importantly, the images of our big day came out absolutely beautifully, capturing the special moments between the two of us in the spirit of the day, plus great shots of family & friends. Doug & Georgi were absolutely wonderful to work with - very responsive in scheduling engagement photos when we decided that we wanted them at the last minute, and then getting the editing and prints done in time so that I could give the photos as gifts to the parents during our rehersal dinner. Georgi was great at making us comfortable and really knows how to use the light to make you shine! I've just gotten my album back and I couldn't be happier!

Doug and his photographers (Adam and Georgi) were incredible - so professional, so much fun to work with, so creative, and the outcomes were AMAZING. They are so talented and while a little pricey, it is so worth it as these pictures will last lifetimes. We did our engagement session with Doug and our wedding photos with Adam and Georgi, and had a ball on all occasions. They are really flexible and really want you to be happy with the results. We had our engagement shots in DC and our wedding 2.5 hours from their location - they were more than willing to travel the distances. HIGHLY recommended!!!

We used Doug as our photographer for our wedding. He was very professional, on-time, and listened to all of our requests. He is the most expensive photographer at Candid Moments, but well worth it. We would definitely recommend him to others.

Our pictures turned out amazing, just like we knew they would. We pretty much knew that we were going to use Candid Moments from the moment we met with Doug, even though they were the first place we visited. My husband is really into photography so our wedding photographer was really important to him and we set a higher budget for it for that reason.

There are a couple things I wish we had done differently, but those things are mostly on me, not the photographer. In case anyone is interested for their future wedding, here's what they are: we provided the photographer with lists of groups of family members for the formal photos, but we never provided lists of groups of friends for fun pictures throughout the night. We got some good candid ones anyway, but I wish there were more of certain groups. Also, we kept hearing that we should really try to be present for cocktail hour so we tried to get photos done before that, even though we didn't want to do first look photos. I am glad we didn't do first look photos, but I wish we had just accepted we wouldn't make cocktail hour and spent more time getting fun bridal party photos. We made it to about half of cocktail hour, and I would have rather spent that time with just the bridal party, since we didn't see them together as a group for the rest of the night. I also wish I had told the photographer that we wanted some "fun" photos, because we're pretty goofy people and all of our "formals" are very...formal, haha.

Doug and Georgie with Candid Moments are wonderful! I have to say that I haven't received all of my pictures yet, since it's only been a week since my wedding, (and I'm slightly nervous to shout great things from the rooftops until I get the final product back) BUT the "sneak peeks" that he showed on a laptop at the reception and the ones that he posted on Facebook are FANTASTIC! I have received sooo many compliments on his work and that fellow brides have photo-envy over my pictures! I am sure that the rest of the pictures are going to be amazing and I can't wait to see them! I would highly recommend giving them a call! Great people to work with, very sweet and mellow. They go with the flow and encouraged us to take a few risks to get GREAT pictures! So happy with my experience with them so far!

They were a pleasure to work with.... Adam was our lead photographer and was fun and engaging. Not a smiler normally but he had me grinning ear to ear! Have not received my photos yet but I am sure based on what I have currently seen, they will be perfect. The whole staff was easy to work with and definately worked within my budget!
