Wow, just wow! We were lucky enough to get our engagement photos taken while vacationing in Japan with a different photographer so we we were hesitant to book a photographer in the states without having had an engagement shoot. Candice was an easy choice - she agreed to meet with us so we can get a feel for her personality and her personality was was so warm and calming, we knew we made the right choice. We were supposed to have our big reception in 2020 but opted for a small backyard ceremony instead. We can't thank Candice enough for being so flexible and making planning a wedding during a pandemic a little easier.
We finally had our wedding in November and I'm just in awe of her beautiful work and professionalism. Candice and Josh arrived on time and kept us on schedule. On our way to our first-look my wedding dress strap completely came undone and Candice's calming energy really helped me keep my cool. She was able to capture photos in a way that hid the flaw as we waited for my mother-in-law to sew the strap back together! Honestly can't believe how calm I was but I do think I owe a lot of it to Candice. We are over-the-moon with the photos taken and appreciate how they kept group shots moving smoothly and were just so fun to have around! We are both not camera people at all and they helped us relax and enjoy the process. I would book Candice for any future photography needs, she's just the sweetest and her photography is stunning! -

Working with Candice as our wedding photographer was an absolute gift. From the moment we connected, she understood my vision completely and captured it with such grace and ease. Our wedding at the Gardens at Los Robles Greens was already a dream, but the way Candice documented it brought everything to life in a way that words can't quite describe.
She didn’t just take photos — she preserved the emotion, the connection, and the love between my husband and me with such authenticity. Every image feels alive and full of heart. What truly touched me most was the way she honored the memory of my late father. Those moments she captured are now some of my most treasured keepsakes, and I will be forever grateful for her sensitivity and care.
Candice is not only incredibly talented, but also genuinely compassionate and thoughtful. She made us feel so comfortable and supported throughout the day, and her calming presence allowed us to just be ourselves. I can’t imagine having had anyone else behind the lens — she made the experience unforgettable in every way. -

My husband and I had Candice as our engagement and wedding photographer and she was wonderful. She was always responsive and communicated well during the photo session process. She always made us feel comfortable during our photo sessions as well. She is such a great photographer. Any couple or anyone that hires her to be their photographer made the right decision. If any other big moments in our life happen, we will want Candice to capture those moments. -

My husband and I are so grateful for Candice! She is not only a truly talented photographer but she’s also one of the most genuinely kind people I have ever met. Her photoshoots are fun and she makes you feel so comfortable. She took absolutely amazing and dreamy pictures for our engagement photoshoot. During our wedding Candice and her assistant were very organized and professional. I literally cried with happiness when I saw the final photos, she captured our wedding day beautifully. If you want gorgeous photos that you will cherish forever then hire Candice! We cannot recommend her enough! -

Candice was a pleasure to work with! Very responsive to emails and communications. My husband was worried that a photographer would take us out of the moment but Candice put us right at ease and captured the day beautifully! We were truly able to be present in the day. Candice was so easy and enjoyable to work with! She had a really good eye for lighting, angles, and background scenery. She also gave everyone a lot of good posing instructions to make sure the photos turned out perfect. She was also very flexible in terms of last minute photo ideas. Candice and her team are an absolute joy to work with. I can't say enough great things about our experience. Our wedding was rescheduled 3x over the course of 2 years due to Covid and Candice worked with us every step of the way. Her communication was timely and she made herself available to discuss plans/timelines that seemed to be ever-changing due to the circumstances. On the day of the wedding, Candice and Josh did an excellent job of directing the wedding party to get the best shots and worked their way through the shot list with ease. Not only did she help me and everyone else feel comfortable in front of the camera, but she also coordinated with our videographer to ensure that all of our special moments were captured. I loved her creative vision for the photos. At sunset, she saw an opportunity to get some gorgeous shots while we were on the rooftop of the Canary hotel. The lighting was beautiful and the Santa Barbara skyline was breathtaking.
The technique, professionalism, and amazing personality...Candice has it all! -

Candice is a joy to work with! She is responsive over email, was on time during our big day, and was flexible in when things needed to happen to ensure that we got the best pics! Our favorite thing about Candice is that in addition to being an excellent wedding photographer, she is also a true artist and even shot some of our wedding on film. All in all, we cannot say enough good things about her! She's the real deal. -

Amazing in every way!
I cannot say enough good things about Candice! She seriously was the best part of wedding planning.
Our original wedding was cancelled due to Covid, so we decided to have a small elopement type event at the last minute. Candice was so sweet, kind, and patient during the entire process. I texted her a million times asking about this date or that date to change our original wedding date to do the elopement, and she was just the best about it. Not only was she incredibly flexible and professional, she was also super kind and helped keep us calm while we threw together our elopement at the last minute. I'm so glad we were able to keep her as photographer for our new, smaller wedding.
On the wedding day, she was the best! She has such a great energy about her. She's exactly the person you want around you all day on the most important day of your life. Our guests and other vendors were gushing about Candice as well. Everyone could not stop talking about how sweet and helpful she was. And she got the pictures to us SUPER FAST and we are very pleased with the results! When I show people our wedding photos, they always talk about how great the photographer was.
We would hire Candice again in a heartbeat! Run, don't walk, to hire her! -

Candice is a dream
Candice was wonderful! Our wedding had to be postponed due to COVID. So my husband and I decided to elope to Santa Barbara. I had worked with Candice before with my best friend and her wedding. She was so accommodating during such uncertain times. My husband is deaf and speaks ASL. She was so comfortable with him and made us both feel at ease. She’s so great to work with. Her pictures are beautiful. I highly recommend booking her for your next event- no matter how big or small! -

Candice was absolutely amazing! She is so PRESENT in the moments - always aware of catching those priceless memories. Weddings are such a whirlwind of activity and it is incredible to have a photographer who creates photos that allow us to go back in the quiet after the storm and re-experience the moments. So many things I would have missed without her discerning eye and artistry! Gorgeous composition and the way she uses light and texture is stunning! -

My husband and I cannot recommend Candice enough if you are on the lookout for a wedding photographer! Her prices are completely reasonable, you feel totally at ease around her while she is shooting and on top of that her photos are absolutely stunning. Candice was AMAZING, from our engagement session to our wedding day and all the e-mails/phone calls/Facetime convos in between. She worked with our budget, listened to our vision and made sure to document every moment of our special day... She even captured little moments that I didn't know she saw! Candice was efficient, driven and so pleasant to work with at our April 2019 wedding. She was prompt, quick to begin capturing gems and adapted easily to a few small schedule changes. Candice is exceptionally talented and professional. She has a special way of making you feel comfortable and beautiful to entice only the best photos out of you. She has an artistic vision that is both beautiful and romantic, while also creating crisp and vibrant photos. She works really well with others and was unobtrusive throughout the day while still capturing all of the photos we wanted to have. She has a great eye for composition and light. She has a fantastic eye and I noticed she would move me just slightly to get the perfect light. This really showed in the final photos. When I asked her to remove a light pole from the background of a photo, she was quick to say yes and delivered a beautiful outcome. She made me feel comfortable even though I can be shy and awkward.

We were doing our wedding on a budget (which is next to impossible in Santa Barbara!) but the photos are so incredibly important. It was really important to me to have two shooters so that one could be with the groom and at the ceremony before I arrived and the other with me while I was getting ready. I also really wanted to get that “magical” photo. That one picture that you remember forever. I found Candice through a friend of a friend and could not have been happier. She was such a calming presence throughout the day and our pictures are simply amazing. Not to mention the fact that she was in our price range! We’ve gotten so many compliments on our wedding photos and we just could not be happier. I’ve already been recommending her to everyone I know :)
