THE most important investment you'll make for you wedding
Jen and Claire from Campfire Events were the MOST critical part of our big day. We didn't know going in just how important the Day Of Coordinator role really is, but fully appreciated how much weight they carried after our big day.
What set them apart when we were initially looking for our coordinators is that they had a deep-dive meeting WELL ahead of the big day (6+ months ahead), and offered unlimited support, questions, and contract reviews all along the way. They helped us with vendor recommendations and saved us money by scrubbing each and every contract to make sure there were no hidden items that could catch us off guard.
As we got closer to the big day, they were there the whole way to hold our hand and offer MUCH needed reassurance that things were on track and that we were doing well. Each call ended with a sigh of relief, and helped our own relationship stay intact during the stressful times of planning a wedding.
Que 2 months out, when they officially took over, and my wife was in disbelief at how most of the work just vanished from our plate from there. They coordinated all vendors, timelines, layouts, venue access, etc. They were on every call and attended all our in-person venue visits.
All checklists and coordination documents were very clearly organized in a google drive and easy to find, along with seating charts, day-of items, song lists, etc. Having living documents was critical for easily sharing and updating information.
While a lot of them is exactly what you'd expect from a day-of coordinator, they went well above and beyond on the big day. Where they really shined (and the part we appreciated the most), was how organized, supportive, and calming of a presence they were. Also, they helped us with writing our Vietnamese Tea Ceremony script (and layout), took my wife to her hair appointment, steamed my wife's dress and veil, fixed broken zippers, picked up our signage and brought to the venue, assembled day-of items, helped accommodate 2 guests that we forgot to include on our seating chart, and cleaned up the venue and made it spotless before we left. Any impending issue was handled immediately! They even called us after the wedding to see how we were doing :).
Everything was on time and we had no hiccups during the wedding, something few can say (after attending so many weddings over the years). We were able to focus completely on ourselves, and they took care of everything.
Looking back now, we can't believe the value that came from working with Campfire Events. Not only were their services very reasonably priced, but they really went WAY above and beyond what we could have expected from working them. This is what people mean when they refer to getting the most bang-for-your-buck.
We are sending every one of our friends over to them and can't say enough just how much we appreciate their services and friendship! -

Go with Campfire!
Jen and her team are incredible to work with. Even though her contract didn’t start until a month
out, Jen would continuously check in with us and be there for us whenever we needed advice. Planning a wedding with her is like playing a real life game of “Yes, and…”, however you want your wedding to be like, she’ll think of all the logistics and details to make it possible and execute on your vision.
Wedding planning can be an overwhelming process but Jen is so kind and generous with her time, you feel cared for and looked after. Especially on the day of, Jen, Claire, and My, had everything covered, anticipated our needs, and were prepared for every little contingency (stains on my collar, timeline being delayed a little). My wife and I were just able to relax and be fully present the entire day and night, Jen even went around and snapped polaroids on the dancefloor late into the night getting some great candids!
She became a friend throughout the process and we’ll definitely keep in touch. Which at the end of the day is what you want when planning a wedding, a friend looking out for you. Highly recommend going with Campfire, your wedding will be the best day.

Absolutely amazing team - book them now!
Jen was the captain, oh captain, of our wedding. She’s not only the most incredible, detailed, creative planner we could have ever hoped to work with, but she was also so kind and supportive of us as a couple.
We worked with Jen as our day-of planner, and yet, she never hesitated to answer an email beforehand and provide recommendations or advice as we brought our wedding details and vendors together. We booked her 20 months before our wedding and felt she was with us the entire journey.
Jen made the magic of our wedding possible, and even on the day of, after spending so much time with us helping to make our dream come true in planning, she continued to add magical personal touches throughout the day that we still appreciate and love.

Effortless, Above and Beyond Attention to Detail Care
Campfire Events went above and beyond in taking care of the whole event including us the entirety of the journey. I am forever indebted by the team because they made our wedding vision truly come to life. They have connected vendors for us that we had no idea we had to connect; example, our content creator and photographer in one meeting so they are coordinating shots together. Day of, I felt at eased. I am normally a Type A person, but their planning and being ahead of the game made me think I am not as type A as I thought as was because they were always on top of it! If I forgot something, they remembered. If I ran out of ideas, they got my back. I felt so loved and cared for. Truly, would recommend being under their wing/care. I felt valued as a customer, but now a longtime friend because of the bond we had for the past 10 months. -

Hiring Campfire Events was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding
From day one, Jen and Claire brought a sense of calm, clarity, and confidence to the entire planning process. We didn’t realize how much we needed that until they stepped in. They’re incredibly organized and experienced, but what really sets them apart is how deeply they care. They took the time to ask us early on what we wanted our day to feel like—not just how it should look, but what kind of experience we hoped to have. That wasn't just a formality for them. They took our answers to heart and carried them through every step of the process. Because of that, our wedding day felt exactly like us.
What I’ll never forget, though, is how emotionally supportive they were, especially during those moments where I felt like I was carrying too much on my own. They checked in regularly with texts and calls that made such a difference. I don’t even think they realize how much those small gestures helped ground me, lifted me up, and gave me the reassurance I didn’t always know I needed. Every single time I started to spiral, they were there. And it wasn’t just me either. They checked in on my husband too, making sure he felt just as supported and involved. That level of care is rare.
Jen and Claire were thoughtful, incredibly responsive, and constantly ten steps ahead. Whether it was managing logistics, smoothing over last-minute hiccups, or checking in to make sure we were doing okay, they always showed up with grace and heart. I can honestly say that because of them, we were actually able to be present and enjoy every moment of the day. Everything ran so smoothly behind the scenes, and we were able to just focus on each other and take it all in. That kind of peace of mind is hard to come by and we owe it entirely to them.
We are so incredibly grateful, not just for how flawlessly they executed everything, but for the genuine kindness, patience, and heart they brought into the process. If you’re lucky enough to work with Jen and Claire, you’ll understand exactly what we mean. They’re truly something special and we’ll never stop singing their praises. -

Campfire events far exceeded my expectations. They were phenomenal in every aspect. They knew what you needed before you even did and their knowledge helped make our day run smoothly. We hired the team for the day of coordinator and they went above and beyond. I can’t rave enough about how Jen and Claire made my entire event special. They helped coordinate and navigate our timeline with every vendor and worked their butts off to help ensure it ran well. My only regret is not getting the full package and working with them from the start. They made my life so easy the day of I had nothing to worry about. I would recommend them to all my friends. Campfire Events made things almost TOO easy for us!
Our wedding was amazing. From the very start, we knew we needed a planner. My now wife and I plan/execute events for a living as well, and more often than not we're stuck in the trenches, full speed at an event for b2b2b2b weekends, into prep for the next event cycle, into event after event.
Jen and Claire were helping us plan from day 0, and from day 0 I had 100% peace of mind that we were not behind in planning at any stage. They made everything soooo easy. After an initial meeting with us (about 1.5 years before the wedding date), we had a few check-in meetings early on, and every single time, Jen would hand us a list of things to pick from. EVERY SINGLE TIME, whether it was the venue, vendors, style/design choices, Jen and Claire would hit the mark. It was so easy for us to choose from their recommendations because she knew our vibe, our wants, our needs so well right from the beginning. To go into a planning meeting and not have to do any planning and just choose A, B, or C where each choice hits, and it was just stylistic preferences... as a fellow event planner... it felt AMAZING and liberating!
Despite our busy schedules leading up to the wedding, Jen and Claire worked with our very opposite schedules to find time to meet, discuss and choose options. All of our random choices and additions throughout the planning process were taken in stride, always ready to adapt and ultimately make things easier. Our wedding day came and Jen, Claire and the rest of the Campfire team were extremely coordinated, communicative and professional through and through. Our wedding party was almost too anxious because they were looking for things to help out with, but the Campfire team had everything on lock. It was amazing to just be able to roll into the venue and enjoy everything.
All of the vendors chosen were great to work with, and all together put an amazing party together for us to celebrate our marriage with our ~190 friends and family in attendance. All of this, thanks to the wonderful team at Campfire! 10/10 would Campfire Events again, can't recommend them enough.

Campfire Events is the Dream Team!
Jen, Claire, and the entire Campfire Events team made our wedding dreams come true! 1.5 years of planning with them for our big day -- can wholeheartedly say that having a wedding planner was the best investment ever for us!
As a couple with a long engagement and a busy schedule, we didn't know where to start. After meeting Jen and seeing the Campfire Team in action / all of the love & care they show to each couple and wedding they assist with, it was a no brainer to work alongside them in preparation for our big day. We knew we needed a lot of help and guidance so we chose the full planning service -- from the vision board, connecting us with vendors that fit our vibe and budget, sharing wedding venues that fit both of our personalities, each step of the process was so easy. Jen and Claire really took the time to listen to us so we could prioritize and focus on our vision and goals for our wedding day without worrying about the logistics / fine details. Throughout the process and especially on our wedding day, we were able to truly enjoy every moment without worrying about the small details that needed to get done because we knew Campfire was on it. We look back on the day with so much happiness because it was so organized, seamless, and magical.

Perfect Wedding, could not have done it without Campfire Events Jen & Claire!
I don't even know where to begin. Jen and Claire were absolutely amazing.
We originally did not have plans to hire a wedding planner / coordinator. But as the wedding approached, we became more anxious and decided to reach out to Campfire Events. Jen and Claire were so caring an invested every singly step of the way. They really listened to every fear and and insecurity we had leading up to the wedding and took care of each concern both before and on the day of.
They were professional every step of the way and really cared about the success of our big day.
They followed up with vendors, made sure we submitted we needed to in a timely manner, and took every request we had and ensured that it would be completed before / on the wedding day.
On the day of the wedding, they had a a full team on site making sure everything went smoothly and checking the stress conditions for both the bride and groom to make sure that neither my or my wife had to deal with any logistical stress the day of. They provided printed schedules for the wedding party to pass out to family & it was very handy to keep on track for the night of.
I was overly thrilled to have had Jen and Claire coordinate our wedding and their team and I would 100 % recommend them for any wedding / event. -

They went above and beyond my expectations!
I was a bit skeptical about getting a wedding planner since I prefer to do everything myself. But my (now) husband, convinced me that we needed it especially since we had to plan the traditional Chinese tea ceremony for our parents who wanted us to plan it. The Campfire Events team was the most detail-oriented group of individuals I've ever met and I'm so happy we got to work with them. They listen to all of our concerns and expectations and are very responsive. Our wedding of 200+ guests turned out amazing, and we have received positive feedbacks from friends and family about the wedding, DJ, photographers and the wedding planners themselves. If I have friends who are getting married next, I would recommend them! -

Jen and her team are absolutely phenomenal! They made the process of planning a wedding a breeze. I really appreciated Jen's thoughtfulness and creativity as she worked with us to bring the vision of our dream wedding to life. It had all the right touches of splendor and sentimentality that my husband and I were looking for.

No other words than, Campfire Events is the absolute best! My husband and I knew hiring a coordinator was needed considering how busy we both are.
Jen and Claire were super professional, responsive, resourceful, and helpful throughout the process, and words can’t explain how grateful we are for the service provided. The BEST Wedding Coordinator Out There!
Jen and her team from Campfire Events are truly AMAZING! We are beyond grateful and ecstatic with the service they provided. They truly went beyond and above to make our wedding day extra special. Jen has been with us from beginning to end - through the planning, execution and clean up. Above and beyond!
I don’t know what we would have done without Jen. She was ALWAYS willing to lend her time and advice, and was available through text, email, phone call, zoom meeting to help answer our questions and made us feel assured that everything was ok. I was dealing with a lot of work and personal things while planning for our wedding and I was able to offload a lot on to Jen. Doing that tremendously helped with my stress and time! She is so easy to work with, has a calming, positive, and cheerful personality (which helps when you’re stressed out) and was professional with everything (connecting and following up with my other vendors, shepherding my guests, and working with my husband and me).
Her team was so helpful too! On the day before and day of, they took so many decorations and supplies and knew exactly what to do. I didn’t have to worry about any of it and it turned out beautifully. I’m so grateful for the time and energy they gave to our big day. Thank you, Jen! -

Best wedding coordinator ever!
We hired Jen as a month of coordinator and I don't know what I would've done without her. Jen surpassed my expectations as a wedding coordinator. Once it was her time to take the reigns, she ran with them! I never had to worry or stress about anything. If there was ever a bump in the road, Jen took care of it with no hesitation. She truly looks out for you and always has your back.
For the day of, Jen had her amazing team there with her. Every single one of them was so polite, calm, and helpful. No one was every bossy or rushing us, they were always just at our side catering to our needs. They even put together all of our table decorations and centerpieces. The day went so smoothly and I couldn't be more grateful for Jen and her team.
You will not regret hiring Campfire Events for your wedding. They will easily make it the best day ever -

Absolutely incredible!
When I got engaged, I put off wedding planning for months because I didn’t want to deal with the stress. I was so glad when I found Jen and her Campfire Events team! Jen is the most meticulous professional I have ever worked with. She kept me on track with to-do lists and checked in often to confirm all the logistics. She was able to work in my family’s excessive demands and often reminded us that it’s our day so we should prioritize our special moments and to not get overwhelmed. She and her team made our wedding day absolutely seamless. I have friends who attended other weddings and told me my wedding planner was way more prepared than others they’ve seen! Best wedding coordinator!
Jen So and her team at Campfire events went above and beyond to make our wedding day (and the events leading up to it) so special and stress free! My husband and I were incredibly impressed with how organized and professional Jen was throughout the whole planning process. If there were any vendor issues (vendors that I booked myself), Jen took care of it! I didn’t even know about the fires she put out until my bridesmaids told me after the wedding. Our wedding party stated that they have never been so relaxed and stress free on the morning of a wedding! Even our guests commented on how great and organized the campfire events team was! We always heard that we would be too busy on our wedding day to truly enjoy it, but that was not true for us one bit. Jen made sure that we had private time to take in our special day, and also made sure we had time to actually enjoy the hors d’oeuvres, dinner, and cocktails that we spent so much time choosing. It was an absolute joy working with the one-and-only Jen So, and we cannot recommend her enough! -

I cannot say enough great things about Jen and her team!
My husband and I did the partial planning package and it was everything we hoped for and more. From the initial meeting, to timelines, milestones, vendor recommendations, to just hearing out our concerns and ideas (with no judgement), to the big day, Jen was there with us every step of the way.
While our wedding was in Orange County, my husband and I live in the bay so it was especially helpful and relieved so much stress on us by having Jen and her team to count on. I don’t know how many people would say their experience in wedding planning was easy, my husband and I are firmly on that boat thanks to Jen and team. In all honestly, it was such a breeze because we had Jen in our corner.
I cannot say enough great things about Jen, she is caring, compassionate, detail oriented, and dedicated to ensuring you have the wedding of your dreams.

Best Decision
Campfire Events was one of the best decisions we could've made in regards to our wedding! Jen and her amazing team were beyond what we could've ever imagined and even expected from a wedding planner/coordination company.
From the initial meeting, throughout the whole planning process leading up to, the day of, and even afterwards, Jen was so reliable and made the whole experience of planning a wedding so seamless and smooth. Her attention to detail is unmatched, and is a huge reason why planning a destination wedding was even possible!
Any family member or friend of ours who got the pleasure to meet Jen or any of her assistants commented on how awesome their services were and how they felt so taken care of.

Refreshing to perfection. Our experience with Jen and her team could no have gone any better, from planning to executing and everything in between.
Our experience with Jen and her team could not have gone any better. Jen was always so incredibly responsive, friendly and calm during the most stressful situations throughout the planning stages. Stressful only because of Covid delays and our venue giving us a hard time. Going above and beyond is an absolute understatement in our experience to say the least. The day off, seemed like we were in a movie. Everything was so fluid and carefree. Looking back, we honestly wouldn't change a thing and could not imagine what it would have been like without her support, guidance, compassion and execution. There's no one better!!!
I could say that Jen was our absolute favorite vendor to work with and that still couldn't cover how I feel about her.
My husband and I originally met Jen at camp together. Cut to 10 years later and we're engaged, I knew that Jen was definitely the one I wanted to be our coordinator.
She's very communicative, always responding within 24 hours (and often within an hour), she's flexible (keeping up with our seating chart changes right to the last day), and she's so calm and confident that whenever I felt too stressed out about something, she was always reassuring that everything would get handled. She's so organized, she's fun, she just knows her stuff. There's no one better, and seriously no one else you'd rather have in your corner.

Amazing Wedding Planning Services!
Hiring Jen So was the best decision we made, no way we could have planned this wedding without Jen. We also were wedding planing from a distance since we live in San Francisco and our wedding was in our home city of Los Angeles. We had to postpone our wedding twice due to the pandemic, Jen was so flexible and understanding.
We went with the partial planning package which begins about 6 months out, but Jen was definitely involved prior to that time. Jen was super organized, responsive, well informed, and very patient with us. She really cares about her clients needs and it was just amazing to see our wedding vision come to fruition. She helped with so many things such as acquiring vendors, wedding invitations, collecting vendor insurance, selecting rentals, there is really too much to list. Jen has built many strong relationships with other Vendors. She knew our venue and caterer well which really put us at ease. Jen also coordinated our wedding rehearsal which was a great benefit for us and our wedding party.
The day of the wedding timeline was super detailed, and everything ran smoothly. Jen and her team coordinated with all the vendors prior to wedding and day of wedding. I really did not have to worry about anything that day except enjoying being a bride. Jen and her team were there till the very end. My husband and I feel blessed to have worked with Campfire Events. Our wedding day was an absolute dream. Thank you for your care and hard work.

Easiest Choice Ever
I knew I wanted to plan my own wedding, and felt I had enough creative and logistics capability to take it on. However, I also knew that there was so much context I just didn't have because I'd never planned a big event. Many of the coordinator/planner referrals I spoke to were trying to nudge me towards pricey full service planning packages, citing my lack of experience. But Jen was immediately different. She asked me what kind of questions were on my mind, and answered on the spot with best practices. She ended the call by saying she felt really confident I could do the planning and even with the month of coordination level, she would be reachable to support me if I ran into any challenges or needed any context. I booked her so fast.
And sure enough, Jen was a valuable resource as we checked in here and there. At a month out, she fully jumped in and got super familiar with our vendor set and creative plans. When family members threw in last minute 'what if we did THIS during the ceremony', Jen was super quick to lay out possibilities and try to make things happen. Her calmness kept me calm!
On the day of the wedding, I feel like my most frequent phrases were "Thank you so much for coming" and "Hey Jen?" I was able to FULLY let go of all the details and plans that had been brewing in my head for months, and trust Jen completely to make those plans come to life. And everything was even more wonderful and gorgeous and smooth than I had imagined it.
With a positive and calm presence, Jen (and Claire and Gina!) took such good care of us and our families and our wedding party - from steaming dresses, to taping me into my gown, to dispensing tissues to literally everyone, to making sure I had food and water in me, to keeping the entire ceremony and reception so perfectly on time. (I used to second shoot weddings - a perfectly on time wedding is a beautiful rarity)
Jen was truly the MVP of our wedding. We could not recommend her enough. -

Excellent Beyond Measure!
Jen So has a gift and saying she was great as our wedding coordinator would be an understatement.
We decided to book her 1 month service and that is our only regret; we should have opted for her 6 month service as she would have saved us so many headaches!
When it came time for her to provide her expertise, she exceeded our expectations. Our first meeting together, she went through every single aspect of our wedding-to-come without making us feel overwhelmed. She helped us see the full picture by going through expectations and guiding us through a timeline in chronological order in a very detailed and meticulous perspective.
She worked extremely well with all of our vendors and reached out to each in a timely manner gathering all of the permits/documents/information necessary.
What we loved most about Jen was that she was extremely down to earth, and made us feel like we weren't talking to someone that is just for hire. No, she genuinely wanted us to have the wedding we envisioned and worked very hard to make that come true!
On the day of, Jen and her team were so wonderful at their job, this review would be 10 pages long if we were to include every little thing they did!
To Jen and her team, please know we noticed all of the littlest of things you and your team did that made such a big difference for our big day, and we truly appreciate you all.

The BEST Wedding Planner Ever!
Jen and her team were PHENOMENAL! From the design of our mood board in picking out our colors, florals and theme, to helping us pick out different vendors, we have only amazing things to say about Jen. The whole planning process was a dream. Jen is so organized and was on top of everything. She gave us a very thorough timeline, budget sheet and so many lists to use to help get us to our special day. From our very first phone call, it was as of we had known Jen our whole lives. She came up with a theme on the spot and had so many wonderful ideas for us to use.
And the actual day of the wedding was so much fun. If anything went wrong, we had no idea because Jen and her team were on it! The decor was beautifully laid out, the program and performances were executed perfectly and most importantly us and all of our guests had an absolute blast! We can't thank Jen and her team enough!
Jen and her team were recommended by our venue as one of their favorite coordinators to work with. We had been in contact with other coordinators, but something just wasn't clicking until Jen. From the initial conversation, Jen was so personable and something in my gut said we should work together.
Fast forward to now being married for a month and we still have so much love and appreciation for Jen + team! Jen was there from start to finish. She was there for every vendor meeting and had such a gentle way of keeping us on track throughout the planning process. Our families and friends still talk about how attentive Jen and her team were during our wedding day. Friends have asked us to save her info for future events. We had zero stress on our wedding day and all was executed as planned.. all thanks to Jen and her team. They saved all of our mementos by the end of the night and made sure we took them home for keeps. Jen even mailed the locket of my grandmother's picture from my bridal bouquet that I had left behind. It's the little things and the attention to detail that we appreciate so much.
If we had to do it all over again (we wish), we would still work with Campfire Events. -

You need Campfire events!
Thinking of getting a planner? Let me tell you need one for your wedding. Don’t skip it! I hired Jen for month of coordination, and let me tell you she surpassed every expectation! First of all a good wedding planning is worth every penny, and my only regret is not hiring for her for full planning because I can only imagine how great she would be at that. Even before my month of planning she was available for questions, etc. but month she was there for every single step, phone calls, emails, txts, vendor issues, etc. Number and emails and phone calls she did, honestly took so much off my plate. There are so many little ways that she went above and beyond. Both me and my fiancé adore Jen and her team for helping us have an amazing wedding day.
When it came to my wedding day she was so unbelievably organized, and thoughtful. She was there all day, handling everything! Anything that came up on that day she had solutions to. Her whole team was so sweet. they were everywhere always ready to help. I would recommend her in a heartbeat to anyone. -

Best Bridal Bestie Ever!
If you're looking for a highly detailed and organized, efficient, creative, composed, expert wedding planner, look no further! Jen So and the Campfire Events team are the BEST of the best! There honestly are not enough words to describe how amazing they are and how grateful I am to have found Jen.
We hired Jen in 2019 for what we thought was going to be our big dream wedding at The Alexandria Ballrooms in 2020. We had a pretty specific vision for our big day, and I have to admit I am someone who is very detailed myself and can obsess over every minor thing, so I knew that finding the perfect planner was going to be crucial to our wedding planning. Jen came very highly recommended and from our first meeting with her, my husband and I were immediately impressed and put at ease by her warmth and calmness. She is someone who makes you instantly feel comfortable. She's patient and really takes the time to listen and understand your needs, and is also extremely responsive and ready to take care of business!
When we realized that we would have to postpone our wedding due to the pandemic, Jen was there every step of the way to offer support and make helpful recommendations. Leading up to our new wedding date in September 2021, Jen was on top of every last detail of our 10-page itinerary to make sure everything was on point, from photography and DJ to rentals, catering, parking, hair and makeup schedules - you name it! She is always thinking ahead and making sure that all bases are covered so that you will be able to fully enjoy your wedding day and not have anything extra to have to worry about. She truly went above and beyond for us, even working late into the night one evening to personally create a custom monogram for our dance floor! She really does it all! This was just one instance of how she went out of her way for us. And did I mention that she did all of this with not one complaint while being nine months pregnant and due with her first baby any day now!? Talk about a boss lady!
We had the most beautiful and fun wedding day, thanks in large part to Jen and the Campfire team. Having Jen's experience and guidance on our side made all the difference for us. Our wedding wasn't the easiest, as we had different locations, outfit changes, special surprises and more to manage, but Jen and her team were never rattled and they made sure that we and our guests only saw the beauty of it all. We got to have our dream wedding after all and it was so worth all the wait!!
Hiring Jen was the most important and best decision we made for our wedding, without a doubt! Jen, I cannot thank you enough for being my bridal bestie over the past nearly two years! Jen and her team are so exceptional! You will not regret hiring her!
After the intro meeting, I knew right away that she really knows what she is doing. Even though I hired her for the day-of service, she didn't hesitate to attend every meeting/site visits and truly went ABOVE AND BEYOND.
The most impressive thing about Jen is that she is thinking 2-3 steps ahead of you. Not only that, she'll do all the research for you. She makes the whole thing so hassle-free & easy!
At first, I really didn't care about hiring a coordinator. I knew I wanted to do all the planning myself and was confident that I could pull this off without any help. I thought only I could make my wedding day perfect ... LOL.
But ladies & gents, if you are like me and know what you want for your wedding and are pretty organized/detail-oriented, please hire Jen. She will EXCEED your expectation.

Campfire made our wedding plans come true
I can’t praise Jen and her team enough. They are absolutely amazing-professional, punctual, organized-everything that a wedding planner is supposed to be and much more. Jen goes above and beyond to make everything come together. We first hired Jen before the pandemic hit sometime in February of 2020. She came highly recommended with our venue, however, once the pandemic hit, we were no longer able to have our big dream wedding at the venue. Plans had to change and I was not willing to change our wedding date.
Jen was so accommodating. Though she helped plan our first wedding at the original venue, she was kind enough to replan everything for a wedding at my parents’ house.
As a control freak, I wasn’t sure if I could trust anyone planning and decorating on the day of the wedding while I was away to get my hair and makeup done but once I walked in and saw what they had done with my parents’ house, I was blown away. It was perfection. Our night was truly a dream and Jen made it come true. Thank you times a million-I will forever appreciate all your hard work. -

Forever Grateful
We chose Campfire Events for our wedding at Alexandria Ballrooms and right off the bat, their attention to detail and ability to listen to what we wanted was apparent and a cut above all the other coordinators we had spoken too. We’re Persian and decided to go with a non-Persian coordinator. Why? Because after our first call with our coordinator, Jen, we realized her knowledge and familiarity with both Persian traditions and our venue was greater than anyone else we had talked to. Even our vendors thanked Jen for her attention to detail and for how smooth everything went on the day of our wedding.
For anyone else thinking they can do without a planner for their wedding, I was just like You. When we started planning our wedding, I saw a planner as an expense that we could avoid. Thankfully, I listened to my better half and hired Jen and her team. When we had to relocate our wedding to a backyard because of COVID, Jen came out and took measurements and turned them into a floor plan. She collected contracts and went over them in detail with us and then followed up on any details needed. She even kept track of the weather and had tent rentals on standby if we ended up needing them (it rained and hailed every day the week leading up to our wedding in LA).
Choosing anyone else to coordinate our wedding would have been a big mistake. I would HIGHLY recommend this team to anyone and we’ll be forever grateful for everything they did. -

Their Full Planning Service is the Absolute Best!
Update:
The postponed wedding happened in 2021!
Because we didn’t want to start up planning unless we knew we could actually have the wedding in 2021, we didn’t start wedding planning again until 6 months before the wedding. I did voice my worry about getting the right vendors we hadn’t hired yet in our price range, but she reassured me that there’s no need to worry. And she was right, I did not worry.
We hired our Florist 6 weeks before the wedding, the DJ 4 weeks before the wedding, babysitters 2 weeks before the wedding, and I had a videographer I hired the year prior go MIA, and she found one for us who could give us almost the exact package at the same price who we hired 5 weeks before the wedding. And they were all top notch vendors in my price range. Honestly, it’s hilarious how “last minute” we hired these vendors, considering I started with a mindset to hire everyone ahead of schedule. With JenSo, I never felt that I was competing against the myriads of wedding couples out there.
My wedding weekend was intense, with a long morning and afternoon of tea ceremony with two different traditions on Friday, and then the Saturday wedding the next day, I never had to worry about anything. JenSo and her team were awesome, and they were super organized, calm, and happy for us.
I wanted to feel calm, happy, and just focused on the many pockets of happy moments created that weekend, and I got that because Campfire Events made it happen for me. Hands down the best decision we made of our whole wedding planning.
2020 Review:
Hiring Campfire Events as our wedding planner was the best decision my fiancé and I made. Especially, for 2020.
From the get-go my fiancé and I knew we would hire a wedding planner. I’ve planned and coordinated weddings in the past, and he was there helping me, so we knew how much work it took to plan and have an amazing wedding. We also live in Michigan, and the wedding took place in SoCal where most of our friends and family are.
From the beginning we both clicked with JenSo. We were able to trust her completely, because we got along with her and she understood us as a couple. She was on top of everything, and at the same time flexible with us and ready to adjust on the fly. And 2020 really showcased the skills JenSo had.
We were supposed to have our big wedding weekend celebration this year, but 2020 was a dumpster fire. While I worried about competing against other couples to get a new date, I never stressed about contract negotiations and having to reach out to all the vendors we had to hire. JenSo was on top of it without rushing or pushing us, and was completely on our Team. She knew we had budget concerns, and she communicated that clearly and nicely with our venue. She kept us from losing money when COVID forced us to move the wedding date to next year.
When it came to my wedding, I suddenly became indecisive and JenSo was there to put things in perspective for me and reassure me that this was all about us and that she’d take care of everything.
We ended up doing a micro-wedding on our anniversary in the backyard. Let me tell you, backyard weddings or any venue that belongs to a family or friend is a lot more work than people realize. I know, I’ve done a backyard wedding for 300 people. There’s a lot more logistics you need to take into consideration. We only had 11 people including us, but add the coronavirus and it’s a logistical nightmare.
JenSo took all of this into consideration, making sure our guests could be as comfortable as possible. She even saved us money by finding deals or driving to pick up things to save on shipping costs. She also helped my sister with the officiant speech, and my sister did an amazing job at delivering it. She’s Superwoman for us.
Our guests were pleasantly surprised with how everything looked on the day of the micro-wedding. They thought “backyard wedding” and weren’t expecting all the amazing decor Campfire Events put together. Another reason why JenSo’s the best Wedding Planner was seeing all the vendors working so well with her. Having a group of vendors who are in sync with the same positive energy really let my fiancé and I focus on ourselves and the amazing day we had.
I had and still have so much stress from family because weddings bring out the craziness in people, but knowing JenSo is there taking care of the nitty gritty details, being calm and positive, and being so thoughtful makes the process a lot easier.
I don’t know what we would’ve done if we didn’t have JenSo, especially during 2020. Having someone there for you who focuses on your needs was the best gift my fiancé and I could get for ourselves.
We’re still doing the big celebration next year (hopefully), and while we had to postpone the good thing that came out of it is having another year with JenSo and her amazing team in our lives. Thank you Campfire Events and JenSo for making our anniversary a day to remember.-

On a scale of 1 - 10 I give Campfire Events and Jen So a 20!!! If you're looking for a wedding planning team, you can't stop your search. I've never worked with someone so detail oriented, thorough, organized but also with the most pleasant and fun personality to match! I knew on my wedding day I could be relaxed and stress free because Jen would leave no detail unattended and I was correct! The Best Wedding Planner There Is!!!
First things first, if you only take away one thing from this review, let it be this: Hire Jen. You will not regret it. Hiring Jen was the best decision we made during our wedding planning process. Jen was our month of coordinator and our day of coordinator, and she and her team did a fantastic job!
There are so many things that go into planning a wedding and successfully pulling one off, and I rapidly realized there was a lot we didn’t know. Jen was so patient with us throughout the planning process, guiding us to where we needed to be while also filling in gaps we had missed. She made sure that everything was good to go before the wedding. During the last weeks leading up to the wedding, Jen was like a machine. She made sure EVERYTHING was handled and answered every single question we had. She was our biggest support during this time. Her patience, her confidence, and her skill throughout this process were a godsend.
A few weeks before our wedding, it came to our attention that there would be a march and some major road closures near our hotel and our reception venue. Jen literally called the city to ensure that we would be able to get our vendors to our reception venue in time. She had backup plans for her backup plans. Without her, I don’t know how we would have handled all of this.
On the day of the wedding, Jen and her team showed up ready to go. They had headsets and walkie talkies and a game plan that made sure everything ran like clockwork! The one thing I didn’t want to do at my wedding was to worry about anything other than getting married, and Jen is the reason that I was able to do that. This woman literally helped me put band-aids on my feet halfway through the night. I literally have no clue whether something went wrong during the wedding, and I know I have Jen and her team to thank for that.
Honestly, we could not have done our wedding without Jen, and we will be forever thankful to her and her team. She is funny, personable, hardworking, and amazing at what she does. You will not regret bringing her into your wedding team. Jen makes difficult things seem straight forward, and stressful things seem fun. We would hire Jen a thousand times over, and you should too!

Jen So, owner of Campfire Events, is hands down one of the most capable, creative, professional, and kind-hearted people I have ever had the pleasure of working with. After having Jen as our wedding coordinator, we truly feel like she is part of our family.
Our wedding had many complicated, moving pieces (from initial planning to the actual day of), and she navigated us through the whole process exceptionally. We always felt like she had our best interests in mind. She is patient, understanding, works FAST, and always responsive to emails and calls. We got married in Beverly Hills and Jen was always there for meetings with the venue and vendors.
We had a few bumps the day of the wedding (due to unforeseen circumstances i.e. weather) but I honestly felt 100% at ease with Jen by our side. I cannot say enough about how lovely her and her whole staff was.
Jen is someone I believe who can accommodate any type of wedding (religious, traditional, etc). We had a Kosher Jewish wedding, but also incorporated non traditional aspects. We always felt we were on the same page with each other throughout the process. She came as a recommendation to us from a friend of ours and we say the recommendation was the best wedding gift they could have gifted us! Hands down the best vendor we hired for our big day! -

Coordinator of your DREAMS.
For some context, I'm probably what some would call a perfectionist especially when it comes to events. As a resut, I was a little doubtful I'd be able to find a coordinator who'd meet my expectations of thoroughness and attention to detail.
With all my heart, I can absolutely say that Jen and her team not only met those "expectations," but went above and beyond. Listed below are a few of many reasons why Jen is a wedding fairy god-mother and your best investment to ensure a stress-free and enjoyable wedding day:
(1) Professionalism: You can expect Jen to always be on time for meet ups, as well as dressing professionally and looking like a competent + classy coordinator.
(2) Proactiveness: Jen is a coordinator who will always go to bat for you. Whether it's dealing with difficult guests or clearing up a misunderstanding with vendors, she is efficient with damage control and a champ in communicating with multiple parties/personalities.
(3) Dedication: Although I only knew Jen for 3 months prior to our wedding, she made me feel like she was personally invested in our wedding as much as I was-- which is what I think impressed me the most. It got to the point where she was doing so much behind-the-scenes work, that I began feeling guilty that I wasn't doing much and she was doing everything!
Jen is someone I believe who can accommodate any tradition, culture, or quirky preference. I always felt we were on the same page with each other throughout the planning process and I tell everyone that the best thing we could've done for our wedding was choosing to go with her for our day! -

Best wedding planner
Jen and her team were so helpful, patient and super responsive. We had so many last minute changes and decisions to make but Jen remained calm and always made sure I was stress free. There was so much going on behind the scenes but she would assure me that everything will work out. She also looked out for our budget as though it were her own money. I truly feel as though she was very caring for me and making sure everything was perfect. Two thumbs up! You cannot go wrong when working with Jen!! -

Absolutely seamless!
Jen was so enjoyable and easy to work with from the initial phone call. She is incredibly kind and considerate, and always allowed us to share our vision and input before making suggestions. We really appreciated that she was very present throughout the process and made sure to nudge us when we were behind on a task.
On the day of the wedding, Jen and her team did a wonderful job executing the schedule of events and keeping us completely free of worrying about the timeline or any vendor details. Overall, we were fortunate to experience an extremely smooth wedding day with only a couple of minor hiccups. Jen made sure to pull one of us aside for a brief chat so we were aware, but never made us feel any bit worried. She and her team stayed until the very end to ensure all was squared away with the venue and caterers which made our exit stress-free.

Truly the Best of the Best - organized & professional
Jen and her team at Campfire Events are truly the best of the best - so organized, prepared for literally everything (and I really mean EVERYTHING). I loved that they stayed very calm and always had a smile on their faces. Whenever I was stressed in the process and on the day of, I’d look at Jen and feel so much better- she is so dedicated to you, the whole wedding party, the family, in fact all of the guests, and it truly shows. We received an incredible amount of compliments about Jen and the Campfire Events team specifically- one guest even said it was the most organized, perfect wedding they’ve ever been to. Jen will always be the MVP of our wedding day and actually the wedding process in the month leading up to it. My perfect wedding
Sadly we did not know about Campfire until she was recommended to us after we let go of our first wedding coordinator who was not organized and went M.I.A. Two month until our wedding day, Jen met with my fiancé and I. On our very first meeting, Jen created a timeline, a document, a list of numbers, and a detailed plan. We told us how far behind we were and in that first meeting, she caught us up to where we needed to be. In a week, she had us ahead of schedule. Her organization skills, communication, and knowledge can not be matched. We were finally relieved of all our stress. On the day of the wedding, the only thing we had to worry about was saying “I do” because EVERY detail was handled and went through her. I regret not meeting Jen in the very beginning. We are one of those who unfortunately did not have a good initial planner but we were SAVED by Jen and Campfire events.
I would HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend preventing yourselves with unnecessary stress and wasted time and immediately hire Jen and Campfire Events. I’ve already recommended friends and they too are forever thankful!-

Our Wedding 12.2.18
From our very first meeting with Jen So & Campfire, my now husband-Oscar and I were so very impressed. She was sweet, funny and so professional all at the same time. We came to her with a bit of challenge- a smaller budget to work with and plans for a Christmas-Ballroom themed wedding. After explaining our circumstances & vision to her, she was immediately on her way, offering viable suggestions/help that instantly began to finesse our plans. From then on, she was available to us basically 24/7, always responsive, always willing to work out details, constantly checking-in to make sure we were on track and even jumping in to help us tie any & all loose ends. She made sure to connect with every single one of our vendors and maintained a sturdy line of communication with them so that we wouldn’t have to. Jen, you’re amazing!!
On the day of, we can honestly say that her attention to detail along with the hands-on presence of her team— totally made our day a lasting and beautiful memory. I was able to get dolled up, completely stress-free, able to enjoy the company of my bride tribe, all without a care in the world. My husband was able to do the same and enjoy time with his groomsmen. Its totally because of Jen So & Campfire that we were able to live in the moment and take our day in one experience at a time. Jen So is the wedding planning fairy godmother that I want everyone to have!
Hiring Jen as our wedding planner was the best decision I ever made for myself, and it is the ultimate self-care gift that a bride (or every engaged couple) can have! When my fiance proposed, I knew needed help because I didn't know how to even begin to plan. I heard about Jen So through word-of-mouth (because she is THE up-and-coming wedding-planner in SoCal), and we hit it off immediately in our phone conversation. After we decided to work together, I literally started calling her my "fairy godmother" because she anticipated everything wedding-related way for me: ahead of time, and with backup plans for possibilities I never knew existed. Basically, Jen let me know what I needed to do, when, how, and with what considerations to have in mind. She did a lot of the legwork behind-the-scenes so that when it came to my final decision-making, she already gathered the information to help me re-assess my decisions and to consider every possible angle so that I would have no regrets. In my case, she was 99% of the reason my wedding was as stress-free as possible-- it really was! Jen essentially planned for me, a destination-wedding since I lived away from our venue, and my husband and I were doing long-distance before we got married. Campfire events is really the best and I'll conclude with a final example to describe how much Jen goes out-of-the-way to make your wedding experience as incredible as possible. One day, she happened to be near my wedding venue for a personal appointment and was recommended to go to a restaurant that was supposed to be superb. She tried them out after hearing rave reviews and immediately texted me pictures, videos, and even catering estimates so that we could decide if we wanted to switch our rehearsal dinner to this place instead (they had better decor, portions, and dining options than what we previously planned). We ultimately decided to go with her recommendation and it was such a hit for our gigantic 30-person wedding rehearsal. We were able to sit outside under the stars and have an impeccable meal while being a few steps away from our hotel. If it weren't for Jen, who literally went the extra mile(s) we would have settled for our "good enough" rehearsal dinner venue rather than gone to the place that was amazing cost-effective, close to our wedding site, and perfect for us and our families. Similarly, Jen voluntarily offered to make us our wedding sign using a mirror she had, and by crafting our information together so that we can hang it outside of our wedding reception. This was all above-and-beyond our duties as our wedding planner! As for our wedding day, she had just gotten married 2 months before us, and knew first-hand what we might be needing as newlyweds on our wedding day (she planned for us to have some alone time, for example)! I can't rave enough about her and I consider her to be a friend after this process, so I'll conclude with this: if are fortunate enough to be able to afford a wedding planner, then DO IT ASAP because it is worth your mental health and sanity every step of the way. If you do not have the funds available, then this is a really gift to ask for (having guests pool together this expense) because Jen So is THE godsend that you did not know you needed until you actually get her and her team! -

At first, my husband had no idea why we needed a wedding coordinator. But of course, now…my husband and I can't imagine our wedding without the help of Campfire Events. We had a little more than 460 guests, which is the biggest wedding our families have ever experienced. My husband and I are also firstborns within our families, so we were absolutely clueless about what having a wedding entailed...and of course, our parents had no clue either. Jen So and her staff made sure all of the dots connected. She gave us the freedom to be creative, incorporate our cultural traditions, and verbalize our wants and needs no matter how far fetched they might have been. At the same time, she ensured that everything would go smoothly by guiding us in the right direction. She helped us discover good deals, gave us her honest opinion on various vendors, and communicated with each vendor to set them all up for success. Since my husband and I live in San Francisco and our wedding venue was in Anaheim, Jen worked with us to set up video conference calls with our vendors and even took the time to visit our florist so she could take pictures of our center-piece mock-ups to send to us for review. Campfire Events made the process of planning a wedding enjoyable. In addition, Campfire Events helped us organize our wedding rehearsal and went through every single detail so that we were all prepared for the next day's festivities, which consisted of a traditional Vietnamese Tea Ceremony and the wedding reception. On the day of, they were with us bright and early. Any hiccups were immediately smoothed out by Jen and her team. They helped transport all the necessities and were always one step ahead. Despite how jam-packed our schedule was, they made sure everything was on time. Following the wedding, our parents expressed how amazing and professional the team was. No words can really explain our gratitude for Campfire Events. Our wedding was beyond perfect and we have Campfire Events to thank! -

I can't thank Jen So, the CEO of this wonderful company enough for how wonderful she and her staff handled everything. They are BEASTS!!! We started our planning a little late but thankfully she was able to fit us into her schedule with just a month left. One experience to share was on the morning of our wedding, we found that one of the groomsmen's suit was the wrong color. Jen contacted the suit store right when it opened. Her team member, Jeannine, was able to stop by and pick up a replacement, and we had it within the hour, right on time for our photographer. The whole time it was kept out of sight, out of mind, and we were able to continue to enjoy the day.

How do I give a 10 star rating?!! Seriously, Jen is amazing at what she does. She's passionate about events/planning and has so much experience from weddings to corporate events that I trusted her full on for my engagement party and wedding day! Actually, my husband actually had Jen's magic in our proposal so we went full circle with Campfire Events.
I knew what I wanted for the big stuff like venue and catering, but when it came time for the little details, Jen was there every step of the way and helped me decide on such details as linen type (things I didn't really care about) but she knew some things would make a difference.
My parents love her and we all can't praise her enough for the amazing work she does. She made my vision come to life in ways I didn't think was possible.
Leading up to our wedding she kept made sure everyone was on track and all the vendors and wedding party was informed about where they needed to be and at what time.

Jen So of Campfire Events and her team were an absolute dream to work with for my wedding. Jen was both my planner and my day of coordinator. From the beginning, she helped me find the best vendors and get the best prices, went out and bought items for my wedding within the budget I had told her, and helped me figure out all of the decorations and themes for each event. Although she had never planned a multi-day Indian wedding, she executed it seamlessly with her team of 5, and spent extra time before the wedding to understand the various cultural elements to an Indian wedding. Before the wedding, she also drove 2 hours to do a walk through with our florist and helped me pick out table clothes. She is very hands on and will help do so many things (she even built our program fans). During the wedding, everything was on time and went off without any problems. Her team helped set up and break down, managed all of our vendors and ensured we got to enjoy our own food with a plate waiting at our table. I can’t express in words how much Jen did, and how she literally brought the wedding of my dreams to life. I would highly recommend her not only for the time, skill, and dedication she has for her clients, but mainly because of her passion for planning and ensuring her clients have the most special wedding possible.

Do yourself a favor and don't look anywhere else. Jen and her team are rock stars!! After our initial call, I knew I wanted to pick Campfire to help plan my wedding. Jen was so thorough and professional from the get go. She has the ability to make you feel so comfortable and at ease. Her sweet and bubbly personality helps make the whole process a breeze. For our rehearsal, she even printed out these cute little timelines for the entire bridal party. On the day of, Jen & team made sure I was calm and relaxed and that everything went off without a hitch. When our alcohol shipment was wrong, Jen's team even went out and bought alcohol for us!! Talk about A+ service. I would HIGHLYY recommend Campfire to anyone looking for an amazing planner. -
