Perfect wedding dress

I went into Camilla's with a general idea of what I wanted and some anxiety about whether I'd be able to choose a dress. Nivia instantly calmed my nerves with the dresses she picked for me to try on. With each one, she was helpful in pointing out which things could be altered without pushing me toward any of them. Once I got it down to two, she took pictures for me (I chose to go dress shopping alone because I'm easily swayed by friends' opinions and wanted to have a dress I loved) and encouraged me to think about it and come back. The dress I ended up with was beautiful, and I got many compliments on how perfectly "me" it was. I would absolutely recommend Camilla's. One piece of advice: If you go with their recommended seamstress (Violette) and have the option to try the altered dress on at Camilla's, do it. Violette did great work, but I found it helpful to have Nivia there too also making suggestions.

Excellent Place to get a Dress

Camilla's Bridal was fantastic! I just got my wedding dress from there and from the very first day they went above and beyond. I knew my dress was the one after looking online, and I emailed them to see if they had it in the store. Sure enough, they did, and it was gorgeous in person. It arrived right on time and the seamstress who did my alterations was excellent. They also put in an order for my veil, which I fell in love with and decided I couldn't live without :) They were so accommodating and kind, very good at communication and fast at responding. Really nice, polite people. When it time to get my dress for pickup, everything was perfect. Definitely highly recommend!

Friendly, Knowledge & Warm

The staff at Camilla's Bridal--both Nivia and her mother--offered me some of the best customer service I have ever received. Shopping for a wedding dress can seem like a very daunting task. So long as you have a vague idea of silhouette, fabric or style, Nivia and her mother can pull dresses that match your taste; they make it less overwhelming by selecting gowns for you to try while you wait. From your feedback, they then will select other gowns that more closely match your desired style. They also offer in-house alterations, which is extremely convenient! They even let me come in for about 5 minutes to make sure the shoes that I had purchased on Amazon were the right ivory color and wouldn't match my gown. Each time I stepped into their boutique in Arlington, it felt like I was catching up with some friends. I highly recommend them and would do so to any of my friends who are in need of a wedding dress.

Amazing!!!

Camilla’s was the first and only bridal salon I went to in my search! I was so nervous about the process but Nivia put me at ease right away. Camilla’s has a huge and beautiful selection of dresses in every style. I never felt pressured to buy or try on styles I wasn’t interested in. Nivia also helped me find the perfect accessories, including a veil and add-on sleeves which completed the look perfectly. Highly, highly recommend!!

Beautiful dresses & fantastic service!

I highly recommend Camilla's! I got my wedding dress at Camilla's and the experience was absolutely wonderful. Nivia was so helpful, attentive, and made the shopping experience so enjoyable for me and my group. Camilla's is a small family business and so the personal attention and customer service you receive with shopping/buying/ordering a wedding dress is unmatched. There was also zero sales pressure which I greatly appreciated. Camilla's also did a great job of measuring me and ordering my dress according to my size. When the dress came in, it basically fit perfectly and I only needed minor alterations. I was also very impressed with their wide selection of beautiful yet reasonably priced dresses. A fantastic shop with beautiful dresses and amazing service!

Incredibly customized experience to find my perfect dress

The owner Nivia made the dress shopping experience so perfect and enjoyable for me and my group. I had forgotten when I booked my appointment months earlier that she had asked me to share my wedding dress Pinterest board with her. When I arrived, she had already pulled many dresses that she thought would fit my style. She couldn't have been more on point. I liked nearly every dress I tried on, narrowing it down to a couple that I loved, and finally to the beautiful Maggie Sottero dress I chose. She was also very easy to work with, responsive, and helpful in coordinating alterations and recommending accessories. I also worked with her mother from time to time, and she was great, as wel. I went to David's Bridal before coming here, and the two experiences couldn't have been more different. I can't recommend this shop enough. Thanks for everything, Nivia!

Great dress shop

I bought my wedding dress at Camillas. Ultimately I ordered from them because they had the dress I liked the most, but I think their selection was more in line with my taste (classic, elegant) than some of the other places I went to. Got it altered by their associated seamstress, Violette, who did a nice job as well. The mother and daughter who run the place are super nice and helpful. My one word of advice would be to make sure you go into the sunny / bright part of the salon when making selections - they have an area near the register that is a bit dark - I sort of debated the veil I chose and think seeing the options in the brighter light would have been helpful.

Wonderful Experience!

I purchased my dress from Camilla's and absolutely loved their variety of options at their beautiful store. The family that runs the store is extremely helpful and kind! The woman who does the alterations for Camilla's is highly talented and did a wonderful job with both my bustle and hemming my intricate dress. I highly recommend looking at Camilla's if you are in the Boston area.

Camilla's Bridal came highly recommended to me and I was not disappointed. Nivia was able to help me find the perfect dress- and I didn’t give her much to go on! She listened to everything I liked/didn’t like until we found the one! She also helped me pick a belt , headpiece and veil that complimented the dress.

My mom also got her mother of the bride dress here and was super happy with it!

Service was top notch- I was called as soon as my dress came in! And Nivia stayed a few minutes late when I came to pick it up (much appreciated as this was a very busy week!)

It was a pleasure working with Nivia and Maria at Camilla's! I discovered the store after an unpleasant experience at another store where they wouldn't assist me with finding a dress from a brand they already carried. Camilla's had my preferred designer brand and a wide selection of dresses within that brand and all other brands they carried. I ended up purchasing my bridal dress, veil and bridesmaids dresses here. There was a shipping delay with the bridesmaid dresses, but Nivia took the time to go to UPS to sort it out. Overall, it was a great experience and I'd highly recommend anyone to go to Camilla's for their wedding dress!

Ladies of Boston, this is the place to go when shopping for your wedding dress, bridesmaid dresses, or mother of the bride dresses!

Nivia was fantastic! My family and friends all live in Virginia, so I went to my initial consult and most of my fittings alone (my mom was able to make it up for one of the fittings). Nivia, her mom, and her sister all made me feel like I was part of their family – they knew me by name when I arrived for my appointments or called in with questions, and Nivia was incredibly helpful and honest in assisting me with customizing my dress.

When I first arrived, Nivia was great in selecting different types of dresses to try. She gave me her sincere opinion of what looked good and guided me through the process – I really appreciated that about her since I was there alone and was pretty open to any and all suggestions.

In the end, she and the seamstress came up with a fabulous idea for customizing my dress. I LOVED it and received hundreds of compliments on it at my wedding. I could not have been happier with their services and help!

Camilla's was great. Everyone was so friendly, and I actually felt like I was part of their little family. They have every type of gown imaginable, their tailor did fantastic alterations (she literally de-volumized my dress because I loved the top but thought the bottom was a bit too-princessy for my liking), and I greatly appreciated that unlike other places, they do not pressure you AT ALL into purchasing a dress. My dress was gorgeous and I got compliments all night. This was my third stop in looking for a gown, but it would made my life easier if it had been my first. I would highly recommend them!!

I had the best experience here! I went in to look for a dress having an idea of what I wanted. I picked out a few and then was brought over Another dress by the owner, she said she had a dress she wanted me to try because she thought it would be perfect for me. Boy was she right! This dress was different than what I had picked out but somehow was exactly what I wanted and need in a wedding dress! We went to several dress stores around Boston and had the best dress shopping experience at Camilla's, no comparison! Nivia is fantastic to work with, super sweet, helpful and flexible and really knows how to create the right vibe for her customers...making you feel like she actually cares about your day, vs. a lot of "factory" stores that treat you like cattle. A great selection of dresses to begin with, topped by amazing store experience and followup...I'll be recommending them to my friends for sure.

This place is the best! It is a very friendly, welcoming, and comfortable environment. At Camilla's they truly want you to love your dress and be happy with the experience. I was lucky enough to get to work with Maria and she is so kind and so helpful. She looked at a few pictures and was on her way to picking out the perfect dresses, knowing exactly what I was looking for, even if I maybe didn't. She was patient and honest and I never felt pressure to buy a dress. She encouraged trying on the same dresses I was deciding between over and over and taking pictures of them so I could sleep on it!
This was an additional but very important highlight of this store. You can take pictures of yourself in the dresses and you can go into the dressing room and change into the dresses without having someone from the store in the dressing room with you. There is help if you need it, and they tie and button when you ask and are ready but you are not required to get half naked in front of a stranger, which happened at the three other stores before I went to Camilla's.

I loved my experience here and felt like I was treated more like family than a customer. I would highly recommend it to everyone. A heartfelt thank you to Maria, you made my experience so wonderful!

When I was first looking into dress shops, Camilla's seemed like the type that would intimidate me with its beautiful space and professional-looking website. I've watched enough Say Yes to the Dress to know I'd be too scared to step foot into Kleinfeld! I didn't have all the money in the world to spend, and I wasn't a model-size 0-2, but I booked the appointment anyway, mostly because it's only a couple miles from my house. I could NOT be happier I made that appointment. Finding THE dress is a crap shoot regardless, but it's the level of service and warmth from the ladies at Camilla's that made me a thrilled customer. I mostly worked with the owner (Nivia)'s mother, Maria, during the try-on phase. She is one of the sweetest and most encouraging ladies you'll ever meet. She'll feel like she's your other mom (or if you can't shop with your mom, she's a great stand-in!) When I first tried on the dress I eventually chose I wasn't 100% sold, but even after trying it on at a different shop and deciding I wanted it, I knew I wanted to go back to Camilla's to buy it. Each time I went in for a fitting or to pick up my dress Nivia was there at the desk with a huge smile on her face and the most cheerful disposition you'll ever encounter from someone working in a customer-facing business. It's obvious she's loves her job. Luckily I didn't need major alterations, but the seamstress, Violet, who worked on the small things I asked for (bustle, adding the optional cap sleeves, etc.) was perfectly adequate. Two days before I picked up my finished dress I asked for the cups Violet had sewn in to the bust to be removed (I looked a little too "Jessica Rabbit" for my church ceremony) and they did it without hesitation. I could not say better things about Camilla's bridal and they made my dress shopping experience an absolute pleasure!

I can't say enough wonderful things about Camilla's! It was my first and only stop when shopping for my wedding gown. I went in without much of an idea about what I wanted, and fell in love with the fourth gown I tried on. I went back with my maids of honor and family, and purchased that same gown. The selection of dresses is incredible. They are all beautifully made, and were within a budget we were comfortable with. Nivia and Maria made us feel at home at every visit. Their alterations specialist, Violette, worked diligently to make sure my dress fit perfectly. Camilla's came highly recommended from my best friend, and have already told my friends who are brides to be that it's the best!

Camilla's was fantastic. It was our third bridal shop of the day and my MOH and I were so glad that we found this shop. The team there is so accommodating and knowledgeable. I knew things were going to go well when I explained what we had found previously in shops, what was working and what wasn't and they took that information and picked the dresses for me. The second dress I tried on was the one. They addressed all the concerns I had regarding alterations that need to be done, showed me what accessories might work best with the gown, and were overall just great to work with. Being someone with a larger bust size it had been challenging to find a dress where I felt comfortable and not worried about moving around but all those concerns were addressed for me and I wound up feeling even better than I thought I would. Even though they had other customers in the store, on a Saturday, I received attention from all three staff members who each brought something to the table to make my experience an excellent one. I would highly recommend Camilla's to anyone looking for a place to enjoy wedding dress shopping.

The ladies at Camilla's are a dream come true. The first shop I went to was so overwhelming. Here they had just enough option, and none of the prices were exorbitant so I didn't have to fear picking the dreaded over budget dress. It felt very personal and they were always very responsive. I went in swearing I wouldn't by the style I ended up with. But I LOVED it and my husband was so happy that I had chosen that style of dress. My father was not there when I first found it, but he wanted to be. So the ladies worked with me to set everything up to make it seem as though he was there for "finding" the dress. Pulled the perfect styles to lean him in that direction. The alterations made it fit like a glove. Perfection! Thank you all so much!

Nivia at Camilla's Bridal is secretly magical. No, seriously. I went to Camilla's on the one day overlap my mom and my sister had in Boston after Thanksgiving, wanting to at least get the experience of wedding dress shopping with them the first day out even if I had to actually buy one another day without them. I hate shopping, and I only a rough idea what I wanted, so I was not expecting success. After I'd tried on about 6 dresses I'd picked out, Nivia picked out something that wasn't at all what I thought I would like, and asked me to try it on just in case.g. It. Was. PERFECT. One hour, seven dresses, dreams made. Later she told me she thought that dress was right for me right when I walked in, but didn't want to lead me away if I wanted something else. The staff at Camilla's were so kind and accommodating throughout the whole process, and I am so lucky I got to work with them!

I was one heck of a picky bride when it came to finding my wedding dress! I visited Camillas 3 times before deciding I found "the one". Each time Maria and her daughters were equally as caring and patient with me. I never felt rushed and or forced to make my decision. I was thoroughly impressed with their professionalism as they have countless brides coming in and out every day and they are still able to treat each bride like she is the only one in the world. They are courteous and sensitive, and genuinely understand what choosing the right dress entails. Most of my visits were in the evening on a week night, the one time I did go in on a summer weekend it was very, very busy! If you can avoid those busy times, perhaps by asking Maria in advance, I would. I highly recommend Camillas and will miss seeing Maria and her girls.

I had a wonderful experience at Camilla's Bridal. I love the wedding dress that I bought there, and the service was incredible. I had been to a number of other bridal boutiques and found dresses that I liked, but hadn't found the ONE yet. I tried on a number of dresses at Camilla's but needed some time to make my decision. The sales lady there let me take all of the time I needed, and knew just when to offer her own advice and opinion, without being overbearing or pushy. She also made sure that my dress selection fit my budget. Overall, it was a great experience and I was completely satisfied with my wedding dress.

Camilla's is simply wonderful! I had gone to a few dress shops prior to coming to Camilla's and just wasn't quite finding what I wanted and was annoyed by pushy salespeople, to boot. When I came to Camilla's, I had a wonderful selection of dresses, non-pushy and extremely patient salespeople, and simply a great experience.

I LOVED the dress that I got and also loved working with Violette, the seamstress who works out of Camilla's a few days a week. I couldn't be happier and would recommend this store to anyone shopping for a wedding dress, bridesmaids dress, or mother of the bride dress.

I worked mostly with Maria (the mother of the shop owner) who couldn't have been any nicer! After visiting several shops beforehand and encountering many 'rules' at other shops (like no pictures), it was a breath of fresh air when they didn't have any such rules and in fact encouraged pictures. Maria was so laid back and easy going and accommodating! My dress not only came in on time, but early and the alterations were a breeze. Most shops have you worried about your timing, but not here! Maria actually had the most brilliant idea for my veil as well, she ordered extra fabric from my dress and made it for me. It was absolutely stunning and I couldn't have been more happy with it!! Maria really made my finding the dress and whole experience after very special!! Can't thank her enough!!

Camilla's is the only bridal shop I went to and I couldn't have been happier! The staff were very friendly and responsive to my questions both in person and via email. The shop has a welcoming and easy-going vibe that made me feel comfortable from the start. I am not the typical "princess" bride, and I was so pleased to find numerous dresses in their selection that fit my vision and personality.

Would highly recommend Camilla's Bridal. They had a great selection and worked with me every step of the way- finding the dress, making it perfect, choosing the right accessories, doing alterations etc. When Maria could tell that I was slightly uncomfortable in my otherwise perfect strapless dress she came up with a perfect solution. The straps she suggested making -using my extra lace- came out amazing (thanks Violet!!!) and looked like they were part of the original dress. Having had such a great experience there finding my dress, I went back to Camilla's for my bridesmaids dresses. Once again Maria and Violet worked with me and my bridesmaids to make the dresses perfect. Both myself and my bridesmaids received many compliments on our dresses. Best of all, we all felt comfortable (and looked beautiful) all night. Thanks Camilla's!!!!

I got my wedding dress at Camilla's (Maggie Sotero's Melanie dress) for a great price. Maria and Nivia were very helpful, and I loved the small boutique feel of the place. Everything went smoothly with trying on the dress, purchasing it, and getting it fitted; they even had someone on site who was able to do alterations for me. I highly recommend getting your dress here!

I found my dream dress here. We went to other stores to try to top it, but ended up returning to get it. They were so wonderful to work with! I love supporting a Mother Daughter team. I love getting personal attention at a small bridal salon. They have an incredible inventory. The dress was perfect, even with the straps they added. Make a stop at Camillas and see what they have!

Nivia and Maria are an absolutely adorable mother-daughter pair, and I am so glad they were there to help me choose my wedding dress. I found Camilla's because I had my eye on some Maggie Sottero dresses and I was able to get there by public transit from Cambridge, MA.

They helped me figure out my style and what worked on my body. My dress fit me like a dream and they worked with me to make sure everything was in/done on time. My husband and I got engaged in May then married in December, so I had to be fairly fast at getting a dress through the traditional means. They recently expanded their store, and it is a wonderful family business. I am so glad I found them and enjoyed every visit I made to their store. Maria even steamed my veil for me, despite the fact that I did not buy it in the store.

Don’t bother going anywhere else – with Camilla’s Bridal you get the great service that comes with shopping at a small business and the great selection of a much bigger boutique. Nivia helped my sister get the dress of her dreams 5 years ago and helped me get the dress of my dreams for my wedding this past October. After trying a huge place where nobody listened to what I was looking for, within minutes, Nivia had picked out the dress I imagined and even helped me find custom details to add to make it my own. I love this place, and when I went to pick up my dress for my final fitting, they have opened a beautiful addition with even more space for more dresses and fitting rooms.

Camilla's Bridal was my last stop, my last hope if you will. I had tried a variety of wedding dress shops in the area and around Boston. But I couldn't find something unique, I was not looking for the traditional heavy, strapless gown. Everything just didn't feel right.

I went to Camilla's on a whim with a friend, I called in the morning and they were so accommodating in seeing me that very same day. When I walked in the shop was filled with Happy Brides and family, I looked around and loved the variety of whimsical dresses they had. As I was trying dresses on I quickly became defeated as nothing fit or was quite what I was looking for. Towards the end of the appointment the shop cleared out and I was the only customer there, seeing my frustrations the staff handed me a dress. This dress had just arrived in the mail that morning, it was fresh out of the box!

I tried in on as what did I have to lose, I was about to leave with nothing. Only to find to my surprise it was perfect!!! It was such a magical moment, and I am thankful the kind persistence of the staff who got my vision and my personality. Not only did I find my wedding dress at Camilla's, I also found my hair piece. Again I couldn't be more thankful for such wonderful staff, intimate store and wonderful collections to choose from!

Camilla's is a definite must when searching from your wedding gown!

I cannot say enough good things about Camilla's. I love them! I had two appointments to look at dresses, the first at Camilla's and the second at Vows. I was really excited about Camilla's because friends had gotten their gowns there, and I knew from an online search that they had my dream Maggie Sottero dress. When I went in for my appointment I worked with Maria, who was just lovely. So helpful, and so sweet. I told her I already knew which dress I wanted and she told me I should try on several others to be sure. I took her advice and tried on about 10 dresses, but in the end I did end up going with the dream dress. I wasn't sure how much it cost because I couldn't find the price online but it ended up being about $1300, which I thought was very reasonable.

The seamstress, Violet, is an absolute doll and so talented. My dress fit pretty well but needed to be adjusted up top, and I had a weird undergarment that I planned to wear because my dress had such a low back. Violet helped me with the underwear, and she helped me when I had a minor freakout at one of my fittings when I thought my dress wasn't zipping up (it was). I loved her. I loved everyone at Camilla's. Everything went so smoothly, and they were so genuinely happy for me when I came to pick up my dress a couple days before my wedding. I hope all my friends check out Camilla's when the time comes.

I had such an amazing experience at Camilla's bridal and am so happy to have gotten my wedding dress there. The shop is small, but carefully curated with a beautiful selection of dresses- all within a reasonable budget. I came here in late November to try on a Nicole Miller dress I had my eye on and it ended up being the one. Maria and Nivia are wonderful to work with and I was so grateful to have their help through the process. They deliver an incredibly personal experience. Maria was so helpful when my dress arrived and didn't fit as we had hoped (due to a mismarked floor sample). She worked quickly to reorder the dress in the right size with no additional charge. It came within a week and I had plenty of time left for alterations. Thank you!

My experience at Camilla's was amazing. Shopped at 4 different dress stores in 2 days. While Camilla's wasn't the fanciest shop their dresses and customer service was top notch. The staff is extremely warm and kind and they were extremely knowledgable about bridal gowns and accessories. No pressure to buy. I found 2 amazing dresses ($1,500 & $900) there and couldn't find a dress anywhere else that even and close to comparing even at >$5,000 price points. I cannot recommend them enough. My family and I spent 2 days at Camilla's deciding between the 2 dresses and we still rave about the experience we had with the staff.

Although I went to 5 bridal salons, I bought my dress at Camilla's because their service, attention to detail , and true style ability were exceptional. I found my dress, a Maggie Sottero, in another color at a different salon. The company did not provide samples or even photos of the dress in the color I preferred so I called every retailer in the state to see if they had a sample in store. Camilla's was the only one that did- the mother daughter duo who own the store had insisted the company send a different sample color because they didn't like the traditional color. From the start it was clear they were not a cookie cutter salon.

The salon is small, perfect for just a few people to give input. They let me take my time making up my mind and when my dress finally came in, they let me and my friend ohh and aww for as long as we wished. Although they don't have an in house tailor, a local woman named Violette is their go to seamstress and she is phenomenal. She made my very slim A line dress fit like a glove and did an equally perfect job for all my bridesmaids.

Finally, when is called the salon looking for a belt just 2 weeks before my wedding, they scoured the store and called around to see if they could locate the one I liked. They went above and beyond,

If you're looking for an intimate atmosphere and owners that are truly attentive but not pushy, and really care about every detail, Camilla's is the place.

I visited many shops looking for a perfect mother of the bride dress and was delighted when I found Camilla's Bridal shop, a warm and lovely mother-daughter shop operated by Nivia and Maria in Arlington.

I worked mainly with Maria, who offered gentle guidance and helped me to choose the perfect dress. It is not only a flattering style for me, but comfortable as well. Both she and her daughter Nivia were kind ,caring and professional throughout the selection process and I felt that they had my best interest at heart. I never felt pressured to purchase anything. I left as a truly satisfied customer. Thank you Maria!

In addition, I cannot say enough nice things about the seamstress, Violet. She made several custom alterations to my dress and even did the final alteration while I waited so I would not need to make another trip from the south shore to the shop. Thank you Violet for your kindness.

I cannot say anything bad about this shop! I found my dress at two locations and decided to go with Camilla's due to the friendly, personal attention I received each and every time I went in. Many times I went in to try things on, spur of the moment, and was never given any grief about it :) I felt like the shop was smaller than most I looked at, but they had so many beautiful gowns, instead of a mixture of beautiful and so-so. I could easily narrow down my decision. I bought my dress a year out, and lost a substantial amount of weight. The seamstress really impressed me with the fit of the dress when all completed; she had her work cut out for her. She was very reasonable too! My MOH is getting married and we are going dress shopping at Camilla's in a few weeks :) These women are the best and truly love what they do.

I cannot recommend Camilla’s Bridal highly enough! The store is very welcoming and has a nice selection that is reasonably priced. I found a dress I fell in love with! I also loved getting the chance to know both the mother and daughter who run the store (Nivia and Maria), as well as the tailor Violette. All three of them are incredibly sweet and helpful, and they give each bride individual attention. They also gave me great recommendations for accessorizing the dress. When my final fitting was over I was sad to say goodbye to them! I wish I had an excuse to go back now that my wedding is over!

Camilla's is the perfect spot to find a wedding gown. In addition to their large, gorgeous and up-to-date selection, Camilla's has a very elegant feel but is run with the charm and coziness of the sweetest family. I personally had the pleasure of working mostly with the mother of the owner, Maria. From the very beginning I was on a two month time crunch and had to buy straight off the rack and head into my first fitting which was not a problem. Then part of the dress material was irritating me and they worked with me to alter it the exact way I wanted (very close to my final fitting date). Lastly, Maria actually took the dress home with her to make it more convenient for me to pick it up since she lived closer to me than the shop itself. They were so sweet and accommodating. I'd been to quite a few shops before them and I'm so happy I finally found the one at Camilla's.

Camilla's is a cute little salon right in the middle of Arlington. It's not very large, so you're better off bringing just a few people along. The dress selection is nice for the size of the salon and there were lots of dresses within an affordable price point. The staff was great, very supportive and helpful. They called me as soon as me dress came in, encouraged me to come in as soon as possible to try it on and offered to store it for me until my first fitting. There is a parking lot nearby and cute restaurants in the area for celebrating once you've found the gown.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Camilla's. Before I was even engaged I went with a friend here to look for her dress. We were treated so well. It was nice to have the whole salon to ourselves. It was what I imagined a bridal appointment to be. When I went to look for my dress it was no different. They pin back the dress and use all types of sashes and belts to allow you to imagine how the dress will look the day of and how it can be altered. Once I was getting close to choosing my dress they put on the veil and gave me some flowers to hold. They had two different sized samples of the dress I wanted. It turned out that the smaller size fit me perfectly. It was like it was meant to be and they sold me the sample for almost half of the original price, plus threw in a ribbon sash. The experience I had at Camilla's could not be beat. I would so highly recommend them!

I had such a great experience coming here and finding my dream dress! I had been to two other stores and was feeling kinda eh, but here the magic moment happened.

I talked with both the owner and her mother -- what an adorable combo working together. They were very sweet, weren't pushy at all and they made helpful suggestions. They were great company to be around while making such a big decision!

Highly recommend you come here! Beautiful gowns and great atmosphere. They will also recommend you to a nearby seamstress and she does WONDERS!

Please visit Camilla's if you can. This place is fantastic! The team is adorable and super helpful with making this big decision. They will also give their honest opinion on how the dress looks on you which is great. After I purchased my dress here, I bothered them so many times to come in and try it on again and they were super accommodating. Maria also made my veil which was from my mother's wedding dress and I was blown away by her work, it was beautiful! I honestly cannot say one single negative about this place or the staff. I had the most wonderful experience trying on, buying and then having my wedding dress fittings at Camilla's! Nivia and her mother Maria are truly helpful and kind people and are not the pushing sales people that you meet at absolutely every other bridal salon (and trust me, I went to a lot of them). Their small shop has a warm intimate setting and a huge, gorgeous selection of dresses! My Essence of Austrailia Wedding gown was absolutely gorgeous and that brand isn't even offered at most Bridal Salon's in the area. I highly highly highly recommend visiting Camilla's if you are on a wedding gown search - you won't be pressured or disappointed! In fact, my best friend took my recommendation and recently said yes to her dress at Camilla's!

Sadly, I can't remember the name of the woman who worked with me, but I believe she was the co-owner with her daughter. I have to say that the best thing about Camilla's is the low pressure environment. Once I found a dress that I really loved, I was torn about what to do. I had this great dress, that they were offering me a great deal on (because the sample dress fit me so well), but I also had an appointment that same day with another dress shop and a friend waiting there for me. When I explained my hesitation, the owner said no problem, they would hold the dress for me and I could still get the deal if I decided to come get it later (even days later if I needed). This was very different than my experience at other shops where I felt pressured to make a decision that moment for fear that I might miss out. Her low pressure attitude, combined with their great selection, friendly atmosphere, and the opportunity to try on whatever I wanted made shopping at Camilla's a great experience.

Camilla's Bridal was THE BEST! I was on the hunt for my second dress after a very disappointing experience with another local dress shop. I came in looking for one dress and Maria at Camilla's knew exactly what I wanted before even I knew it! She picked a few dresses for me, helped me choose the exact one I wanted and made sure I had it in plenty of time despite the narrow time frame. Camilla's is a wonderful little shop in Arlington. The owners know their inventory and can easily identify what type of dress would be the most flattering for any body type (and very quickly I might add). I bought the 3rd dress I tried on and couldn't have been happier. They rushed the delivery for me too and were wonderful and kind to work with. I loved everything about Camilla's Bridal! They're a small shop with a really nice intimate feel. Everyone is so nice and always gave an honest, expert opinion when I was trying on dresses and accessories. They always told the truth even if meant selling me a less expensive product. They had plenty of beautiful dresses and it was so hard to pick my favorite. They helped recommend a woman to do my alterations and helped to arrange everything with her to be done in the shop so I didn't have to carry my dress around. They stored my dress for me until my wedding and steamed it and my veil for me right before the wedding. I loved working with them and would absolutely recommend them. My dress and veil were beautiful!!

This is a wonderful bridal shop right in downtown Arlington. It is a pleasant space, intimate without being cramped, and they limit appointments so the space doesn't get too crowded. Nivia, the owner, runs the shop with her mother, and they make you feel like part of the family. The collection of bridal gowns is well-chosen, and both ladies have an eye for what looks good on you. I found the dress that I ultimately purchased here, but but still wanted to shop around. I think I came back three times before I finally bought it, but I never felt any pressure - they respect the process of choosing your wedding dress. Camilla's was wonderful every step of the way, and I always felt I was in good hands with them. They're just a lovely (and fun!) place to shop for a wedding dress.

You must go here! I traveled to Camilla's from out of state because of their Essense of Australia dress selection. The mother-daughter team is fabulous to work with! They are so easy going, funny, and helpful. It is a small boutique, with only 2 appointments to be had at once, so you get individualized treatment, no matter how many dresses you want to try!! :) I'm so happy to have bought my dress here as opposed to the other place I visited, which was great, but just not as friendly. I just felt "good" about buying my dress at Camilla's. They also have a great selection of Maggie Soterro and Paloma as well, so it's a must-see place if you are into those designers.

I got my wedding dress at Camilla's recently, and I loved the entire experience. The store is smaller, so you get closer attention from the staff. They have a wide range of dresses, including in plus sizes to try on. I found my dream dress and based on the recommendations of the staff, the size that I ordered it in fit so well that I didn't need ANY tailoring! It was incredible (and saved me a lot of money). I would highly recommend Camilla's!

I love the ladies at Camilla's. I wish I could do all of my shopping there. Having gone first to a larger store with less personalized service, Camilla's was a breath of fresh air. Never at any point did I feel like they were there to sell me a dress; rather, I could tell that they were in this business because they loved helping brides have a "moment" and feel beautiful. I never felt pushed to choose or to buy something just because. And when I went back when my dress came in, the owner was so thrilled about the fit that she actually danced around the salon. Their prices were also better than the "outlet" store I visited first. If you're lucky enough to have the brands you love carried by Camilla's....go.

I went to visit a few of my bridesmaids and we went dress shopping for fun, not really expecting to find THE dress. Camilla's was extremely professional, and even though I had found my dress at a different shop, they said they could order my dress AND SHIP IT TO ME IN NORTH CAROLINA! They were a joy to talk to every time I chatted with them on the phone, and I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a professional and friendly experience!

I shopped at Camilla’s for both my wedding dress and my bridesmaids dresses. Everyone there is very sweet and always a pleasure to work with. They were great. They helped me find the dress that was perfect for me in my price range and held it for me until my mom could come back with me. And they bring it to the seamstress down the street for you so I didn't have to worry about lugging it back and forth. My only complaint is the store is a little small so it can get cramped at times but it's worth it!

Absolutely go to Camillas if you live in the Boston area!!! I had such a wonderful shopping experience there! As one of the first of my friends to get married, I have not been able to rely on recommendations for most of my wedding planning. I loved every dress I tried on, which cannot be said for other stores I went to. They are so helpful, so nice, and it is for the most part just you and whoever you bring in the store! They really know what they are doing and can steer you in the right direction. They are also great at making the samples fit your body so you have a good idea of what your actual size will look like. Such an intimate experience for something most women wait their whole lives for. I found a beautiful dress and am so happy I was able to buy it from there!

Truly memorable dress/veil shopping experience because of the owner and her other. Spend a lot of time with you making sure you find the right dress. Never felt rushed or like I was being sold. Great dress selection for a reasonable price.

A friend recommended Camilla's and she was totally right - it was amazing. I tried on dresses at a number of stores, and Camilla's was by far the best experience I had. The dresses were pretty and there was a range of prices to fit many budgets. I found a dress that was both affordable and gorgeous - I thought it looked far more expensive than it really was! Also, the women who work there were such warm, kind, and helpful people. It was such a positive shopping experience, and I encourage others to shop there as well!

Camilla's was a wonderful shop. The staff was very pleasant and helpful.
We came in with only about two months before the wedding, and they were very accommodating. They set up an appointment for us, showed us the selection of dresses with an expedited shipping option and assisted us in every way.
They had gorgeous dresses here, both for bridesmaids an brides. The place was clean and well organized, with two dressing rooms.
The staff pinched off everyone's dresses, so we could get an idea what the dresses would look like in each individuals size. They also took everyone's measurements, and knew exactly which size to get for each person. Once the dresses came in, they called us promptly, and held the dresses for us until we were able to pick them up a few days later. All the dresses looked great, and we could tell they were ordered at the right size.
They were also able to recommend a very capable seamstress to us who was able to hem three dresses, and tighten the bust of another dress rather quickly.

Camilla's is a family owned business. Mom and daughter. Don't be deceived by the relatively small space. Their selection is outstanding. At Camillas they seem to understand that sometimes the best way to choose a gown is to go through the racks so the bride can be left alone to picture herself in the dress without the pressure and drama of some of the bigger places. The process unfolds with their help as needed. And they are experienced professionals in the field, so if you want the big brass band treatment, you could have that, too. The dress search went from "Vows" to Vera Wang yet we ended up with a spectacular dress from Camillas that looked as though it cost twice as much. They were able to make adjustments and customize as needed. All as delivered and on time with absolutely no anxiety. It was a perfect dress.

After going to 3 other bridal stores I had a good idea of what kind of dress I wanted. The girls there were so helpful in finding dresses that suited my style. I ordered my dress in July 2010 and it came in March 2011 and kept at the store until my Sept 2011 wedding. I did my alterations there and they came out great, she also altered my veil which I did not purchase there.

Camilla's is the best. After having a less then successful experience at other dress stores, I was recommended Camilla's. I found that if you are over a size 4 wedding dress shopping at small boutiques can be upsetting, but at Camilla's you feel like a bride. They can make any dress "fit" for the purposes of trying it on and make you feel pretty even in the wrong size. Equally as important they have so many great dresses to choose from. My first day in there I had multiple dresses I loved, but of course knew which one was right for me when I put it on. The dresses are affordable and beautiful. I received so many compliments on how amazing my dress was, and since my wedding have already had friends buy their dresses there for next year.

I loved my entire experience at Camilla's. It's an extremely cute store in Arlington with a lot of dress selections - particularly Maggie Sottero, Mikaella, and Paloma - that can fit a variety of budgets. All of the people who work in the store are genuinely friendly and are just interested in helping you find your perfect dress. They will give an honest opinion and help you with every step. I also got my dress altered at Camilla's and everytime I went to the store, everyone greeted me by name and gave me a hug, and they felt like family everytime. Please go to Camilla's if you're interested in finding a truly personable wedding dress experience.

This place was GREAT! They were the friendliest, least pretentious bridal salon that I had ever been in. They made you feel like family not like a crazy bride that they wanted to nickel and dime. My dress was EXACTLY what I had wanted. They don't have an enormous selection but they do have their selection out front and accesible to their brides. They encourage their customers to look through the gowns. The alterations were done in house and done well. They even dyed my white shoes to match my Ecru gown. It was a true pleasure to work with Camillas.

Camillas was always so friendly and helpful. Even when I had to go to a fitting alone I felt like my mom or grandmother was there because the staff was so warm and willing to give advice. I have a crazy work schedule and they were great and fitting me in to meet with the seamstress even during the busy season

Camilla's is fantastic. I had the most wonderful experience trying on and purchasing my dress from them. Their service is what made me want to get my dress there. Both mother and daughter run a wonderful store in which the bride is the center of attention and treated with respect and kindness. They talk to you and help you through the very difficult decision of spending a large amount of money on one piece of clothing. They made is easy and made me fell comfortable to say yes to the dress and walk out of there a happy bride. My bridesmaids also got their dresses there and the prices and work they put into getting things right was very helpful. All of them were out of state and so the coordination to make it all work was absolutely necessary. Camilla's made the whole dress buying experience and alterations, something that I looked forward too. Thanks again.

I cannot say enough about how great the ladies at Camilla's were to work with. This was the first place I went to try on dresses, and even though I went way over the time allotted for my appointment they never made me feel rushed. Compared to other stores they do not have a ton of dresses to choose from and I actually ended up finding my dress at another salon. But since Camillas carried the line I decided to order it through them instead of other store because I liked them so much better. The seamstress did a really great job taking in my dress, and though the alterations were a bit pricey, the quality of the work she did was well worth it. I highly recommend checking out Camillas for a relaxing and fun wedding dress shopping experience.

Camillas was the pefect place to get my dress. All of the staff were so helpful and made every visit extremely fun and relaxed. They were even kind enough to have my veil delivered to the hotel the night before our wedding. Nivia, the owner, is a gem. She made the dress-buying process a pleasure, and I love my dress! My sweetie and I spontaneously decided to elope, and Nivia helped me find a gorgeous off-the-rack dress for under $500, and get it altered (beautifully) in just a couple of days. She'll sell you any dress as a sample, most of them at steep discounts, and they have a great assortment. They also have coffee & chocolates and a lovely sitting area for guests, so bring mama or bring your girls. And check out their gorgeous bridesmaid dresses/evening gowns, too.

Camilla's Bridal and Nivia, the owner, were absolutely wonderful to work with! When I went into Camilla's initially with my mother and sisters to shop for a dress, Nivia made us feel comfortable and only pulled dresses within the budget I had shared with her. She knew the designers and their lines really well so looking at dresses was easy and fun. Nivia and her mother were also very kind and fun. The dress I ended up selecting was beautiful. Nivia and her mother suggested a bridal belt and veil that tied everything together. I felt beautiful! They were also very responsive to questions and made scheduling appointments easy. Their seamstress, Violet, was also amazing. Although the initial fitting was at the store, Violet let me meet her at her house for my second fitting on a weekend so my sisters could come. I highly recommend Camilla's Bridal to any bride!

We came in with two brides searching for two dresses. We received incredible services from the owners and they helped us try on dresses and show our bridesmaids and mothers without letting my fiancee and I see each other. When we found the dresses we thought would be "the ones" they had us both come out together to make sure the dresses were complementary and looked good together. They were incredible accommodating, had a great selection, and even brought up some dresses that from the basement that were out of stock. We are thrilled with how our dresses looked on are wedding day, and are so thankful for Camilla's for making it a wonderful experience finding our gowns!

Dress shopping at Camila's was definitely a fun experience. The staff was accommodating of my whole entourage and it was helpful that we could look through all the dresses for a variety to try on. Even when I had doubts after buying my dress, Camilla's was understanding, squeezed me in for another appointment, helped me back into my dress and reminded me how perfect it was for me. After a more beautiful wedding day, dress included, than I could ever have imagined, I definitely didn't regret my choice and you will not regret choosing Camilla's to purchase a wedding dress!

My experience at Camilla's was very positive. Although its a small store, they have a large selection of dresses for every budget! The seamstress did any amazing job with my alterations, and some additional custom requests I had! I truly enjoyed the whole team at Camilla's and would reccomend them for anyone who is looking for a wedding dress!
