  The best photographer ever

  I cannot say enough wonderful things about having Calvin as our wedding photographer. When we took our engagement pictures, it felt like we were hanging out with an old friend. At our wedding, he worked nonstop to make sure that he didn't miss a single moment. His photos are unique, artistic and so stunning. If you get the chance to work with him, consider yourself lucky!

  The absolute best

  Calvin was so incredible. He was extremely professional & my guests called me after to rave about him. He got shots I never expected that are my favorite ones. Book him, you won’t regret it!

  I cannot recommend Calvin highly enough. He is extremely professional and responsive on the business side, promptly answering emails and texts and fully answering all of our questions. On the day of the wedding, Calvin brought me coffee and arrived to our venue early. Calvin and his second photographer, Fielding, worked incredibly well as a team, splitting up while my husband and I were getting ready in different rooms and getting different angles during and after our first look. Both Calvin and Fielding were so much fun to work with, and Calvin's sense of humor helped calm my pre-wedding nerves. In light of all that, Calvin could probably get away with it if he was an okay photographer, but he is way beyond that. He has vision and will literally scramble up a mountainside to fulfill that vision while a groomsman and bridesmaid block traffic for a killer first look above Donner Lake. His photographs are not just portraits, they are truly beautiful art, and we are so happy that we had Calvin to capture the memories of our amazing wedding day.

  I searched and searched for a wedding photographer. I felt that after all was said and done, my captured memories would be the most important part of the event. We went with Calvin Hobson and I could not have been happier. When I look back at the pictures, I feel like I am actually there. He brought the feelings and emotions to life. If you are searching for a photographer, do not look anywhere but Calvin. He will do a fantastic job.

  The photographs were incredible! They were better than I could have ever imagined. Calvin was flexible with our change of plans. I could not be happier would the photographs. He was very professional and yet easy going. I would highly recommend him.

  Wow! What an incredible, charismatic photographer! Not to mention our gorgeous wedding photos, I am so glad to have found Calvin and his crew. There is no other photographer I would recommend!   Just a waste

  He was unresponsive, flaky, rude, didn't care and too expensive for dark VSCO filter photos. We spent months trying to contact him for my wedding but he never contacted us when it came time to pay the deposit. If he didnt want to work with us he could've just said instead of being rude and leaving us hanging a month before my wedding. Talk about unprofessional.
