Absolutely Amazing!
Darlene was amazing to work with we sent her a couple photographs for inspo and the cake was even better than the inspo pics.
When we discussed flavors she helped to curate the perfect combinations, and made sure the fragile glass cake topper we had would be stable on the cake. She asked plenty of questions to make sure she captured exactly what we wanted.
The cake was moist and the frosting was not overwhelming. She added the perfect touch of glitter to make the cake sparkle.
Darlene was so helpful and kept us in the loop about everything. -

Vision was on point!
Darlene is amazing. She is very quick to respond and always excited to interact with you. I told her what I wanted for my wedding cake and she understood the assignment completely. Only one inspiration photo and the cake turned out better than I could have ever dreamed. It was delicious too! Highly recommend her and her cakes for any occasion. Darlene is a DREAM vendor!!
I reached out to Darlene about making a cake for myself and my 9 bridesmaids to enjoy on my bachelorette trip to Las Vegas. I told her my theme was that I “hit the jackpot” and that I loved pink. I gave her creative freedom with the rest and it was the best decision ever! The cake was out of this world BEAUTIFUL and DELICIOUS. Can’t recommend her red velvet enough. She customized every detail for me and my theme, and her dedication to customer satisfaction shines through her work. She was even kind enough to deliver the cake to our Airbnb so I didn’t have to worry about picking it up in an uber or damaging it. Next time I’m in Vegas she’ll be getting a call. Love you, Darlene. Best cake I’ve ever eaten!!!!
Darlene was referred to us and made our wedding cake three years ago. I’ve been daydreaming about it ever since. When my granddaughters first birthday came up, I knew I had to have her make the cake. She did not disappoint. Not only is a gorgeous it’s literally the best cake I’ve ever eaten! Everybody was commenting how beautiful and delicious it was. Darlene is a charm to work with. She was a pleasure to speak with, she asked me all the questions needed to give her a little idea of what kind of party I was planning. Then she took over. Excellent!
I found Cakes on the Move through Google and Wedding Wire! I lived in Sacramento so zi couldn’t do a tasting, but I trusted her work and boy I wasn’t disappointed!! She was very accommodating and listened to my needs. I got my favorite cake…red velvet and it was delicious!! My guests all commented on the cake design as well as the flavor!! Thank you, Darlene. Vegas Wedding Cake
Darlene is an amazing cake designer and has the sweetest heart! I told Darlene my wedding colors and she designed a beautiful cake that sparkled with lace that matched my wedding dress! The cake was so delicious and moist, everyone commented that it was the best wedding cake they ever had. Darlene included a special gluten free cupcake, just for me to enjoy. She also saved the day, let me know that my reception venue shut down without notice and I was able to find a new location, thanks to her. Darlene was great to work with. I used her for my fathers celebration of life and she went above and beyond to make everything to special. She even surprised me with an edible chocolate frame with a picture of my dad and I. Not to mention everyone LOVED the pastries and kept asking where they were from. Great cake and service!
Darlene with Cakes on the Move did a wonderful job with our wedding cake! It was delicious and beautifully made! We live in Texas so we planned our entire wedding remotely and Darlene helped make the process go smoothly. Our reception was at Trevi inside of Caesar’s Palace and the cake was delivered straight to the restaurant flawlessly so I didn’t have to worry about transportation. That was a huge help! I hope to never have to plan another wedding ever again, but if I ever need another cake made while in Vegas I will definitely use Cakes on the Move! -

1976 High School Class Reunion Cake
Darlene of "Cakes on the Move" is the best. Her cakes are gorgeous like a work of art and taste so good. You do not need to stress over any of the details. Just tell her your theme or vision and she will take it from there. Our 47th High School Class Reunion celebration in Las Vegas was amazing. The BEST Wedding Cake!
Darlene makes the best wedding cakes EVER! We planned our Vegas destination wedding from afar and hosted our wedding reception at Trevi in Caesars Palace on June 24th and had the best experience. We had a phone consultation with Darlene 6 months prior and told her what we liked and let her take it from there. She asked to see a picture of my wedding dress and used inspiration from my dress to decorate the cake and wow she nailed it! She was SO communicative and sent me a picture the day before and also texted me when she dropped it off to Trevi. The cake was incredible and probably the most delicious cake we’ve ever tasted. All of our guests loved the look and taste! I can’t recommend Darlene enough, you need to work with her for your wedding cake! -

From the moment I spoke with Darlene on the phone I knew I was getting my wedding cake from her. She is so bubbly and friendly I felt like I was talking to a friend. We set up a tasting and she had everything set up so cute! The cakes and fillings we had chosen to taste were all so delicious it was hard to decide so we picked three! A few weeks later I decided to surprise my fiancé with a groom's cake. Darlene was my co conspirator immediately. I wanted to include our dogs and she had some really cute ideas! When the big day arrived, she delivered and set up the cakes. At the reception everyone loved the cakes!! The almond cake with Bavarian cream filling was everyone's favorite! She was professional and constantly kept in touch and immediately responded with any questions we had regarding the cake and leading up to the event. When the cake arrived, it was absolutely stunning, breathtaking couldn't have been more perfect! The cake was absolutely delicious and the ingredients were so fresh. My first time working with Cakes On The Move and they did an outstanding job! Everything from the first call to the delivery and set-up was professional. I contacted them to make 2 birthday cakes for 80 guests. Darlene was so nice, professional & accommodating. She spent the time on the phone with me to discuss what I wanted the cake to look like and she provided great suggestions. She also provided a sneak peek of the cake beforehand and communicated with the venue for an on-time delivery and set-up. I'm so glad I used her for my event. The cake looked elegant with the beautiful lace and roses and tasted great! Lemon cake with raspberry filling was my favorite. I highly recommend Cakes On The Move for any event.

Amazing Experience With Cakes on the Move
Darlene was absolutely amazing to work with. She not only created the best wedding cakes ever, she was very professional and communicated with us the whole time. She included our decorations with each cake and created the best Dinosaur cakes we could ever imagine. Darlene met with us numerous times to make sure everything was perfect and what we wanted. She went out of her way to contact us and make sure everything was still what we wanted and perfect. She was awesome and made the whole cake experience simple, easy and fun. On our special day, she went above what I could even imagine by setting up everything and making the dessert table the spotlight. The dinosaur cakes were the true highlight of the table and something that everyone at the wedding and those who saw pictures still make the best comments about. I took a leap of faith based on a recommendation. I planned my Vegas wedding from Wisconsin and had to put my trust in the professionals. I let darlene know the amount of people at my reception and type of food. I told her to pick the flavors (we couldn't taste test) and sent her a few pictures of decorated cakes I liked. She was super sweet on the phone, quick to respond and answer questions. We showed up at our reception this weekend and it looked beautiful!!! But was it going to taste good??? YES, IT WAS AMAZING!!! we had 2 different flavors both so delicious!! everyone commented how good the cake was and it really was delicious!! I highly recommend! Darlene is not only the nicest, sweetest person I have ever spoken to, but her talent and her cakes are incredible. Within 20 minutes of getting off the phone with her telling her our vision for our cake, she had texted me a picture of the lace she had just created to wrap our cake! In exactly the color I described to her too. She sent me the final product picture the day before our wedding and when we arrived at our reception on our wedding day, the cake was there and it was AMAZING! Not only did it taste incredible, but it was so beyond beautiful. We can't thank Darlene enough for bringing our vision to life and making the best wedding cake we could've asked for! -

I had a small wedding in Las Vegas. Darlene made us the most beautiful two tiered cake and 24 Vegas cupcakes with Vegas themed cupcake holders. The cake came with fresh pink flowers that matched my cake topper. The guests said the cupcakes were so delicious they wish they had gotten two in their bags -

The owner, Darlene, is the nicest lady!! I needed a cake in a very short time frame and she was able to accommodate me. The cake was absolutely delicious, very moist, amazing flavor and her homemade buttercream was the best I’ve had. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a cake!! -
