Cake of our Dreams!

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Cakes by Mindy for our wedding on June 7, 2025, and we truly couldn’t be happier. Mindy created a stunning five-tier masterpiece that not only looked breathtaking but tasted incredible. From our very first meeting, she was warm, responsive, and extremely accommodating to all our requests and preferences.

She took the time to understand our vision and helped guide us through every design detail with creativity and care. The final result was more than we ever imagined—it was the wedding cake of our dreams!

Thank you, Mindy, for making our special day even sweeter. We can’t recommend Cakes by Mindy highly enough!

Wedding 5/24/25

I cannot even begin to explain how wonderful and talented Mindy is!! We met for a tasting and she asked us how we would like our cake and while explaining to her my vision she drew it right then and there within seconds!! It was amazing. EVERYONE raved about our cake. Seriously. One of my family members didn't believe the cake was real until he actually had a piece. She was super professional, timely, and personable. She also delivers the cake herself to the venue which is always a plus! Seriously, I still think about our wedding cake. I also messaged her a week before the wedding asking for an extra small cake for one of my bridesmaids and she accommodated that with no issues even though it was super last minute! Love love love Mindy and will forever recommend her cakes to everyone I know. Thank you SOOO much Mindy!!

HIGHLY recommend!!!

Mindy was amazing to work with. We met up with her to do a taste testing before booking and also to figure out which flavor(s) we liked and to discuss design and any other details. We had a 4 tier cake and ended up choosing a different combination of flavors/fillings for each tier to try and make all guests happy! We ended up changing our mind on the cake design closer to the wedding and Mindy was flexible and told us that was totally fine. Our cake turned out SO beautiful and delicious and we got so many compliments on it. Counting down the days until our anniversary so we can eat that top layer and try it again! :)

I cannot recommend Cakes by Mindy enough!

Mindy is the very best!!!

We had Mindy’s delicious cake for the greatest day in our life -- our daughter's wedding (07/08/2023)! Mindy is absolutely the best person to work with on the wedding cake!I was not only a mother of the bride but also a wedding coordinator, and Mindy’s great personality, energy, creativity, talent, and flexibility helped me to relax and continue with my multiple responsibilities. I completely trusted Mindy with everything including the absolutely heavenly taste and elegant decoration of the cake and its timely delivery. Mindy organized tasting with the variety of flavors and fillings for the cake to choose from. It was really hard to choose, because all the flavors and fillings were SO delicious, and we wanted all of them. Mindy helped us to make absolutely the best choice. At the wedding, the cake was disappearing from the cake table as soon as it was served. We had the four-tier cake with four different flavors and fillings, which usually served 120 people, and all of our guests could not get enough. It was SO great!!! We absolutely recommend Mindy to everyone who wants scrumptious and stunning cake and are looking forward to MANY YEARS with Mindy’s cakes!!!

Gorgeous and delicious

Mindy did an amazing job on our wedding cake! We had a 5 tier cake with 4 different flavors. The cookies and cream icing is to die for- we got so many compliments on it! The cake was delicious and was exactly what we wanted it to look like.

My cake was spectacular!! It was perfect! I keep going back and looking at pictures! Mindy is great at what she does! It was amazing! It taste as good as it looks! I’m so happy with the turn out! Also Mindy is so sweet! Working with her was great!

Mindy was wonderful! We got 4 different flavors of cupcakes that were beautifully decorated. She made a special gluten free small cake for us to cut into (and smash in each other's faces). Communication was easy, and everything was delicious. I would recommend her to everyone!

Mindy was amazing!!! My parents had their 28th wedding anniversary on the same day of our wedding and she went above and beyond by making a mini anniversary cake for them as well!! Absolutely fantastic!!

Mindy did such an amazing job! Everyone loved the cake and my husband's groom cake was amazing. It's still talked about two months later! Our videographer said it was the best cake he has ever had---and he eats wedding cake every week! Thanks so much Mindy for making our dream wedding cake not only look amazing, but taste the same.

Cakes by Mindy came with our Reception's Conference Center package. In our consultation with Mindy herself, we came with very open and not-cohesive ideas (the cake we were talking about would have been hideous!). Mindy was very politely honest but encouraged us to do what we wanted. We asked her to use a few basic ideas that we had and create a cake that was colorful and unique. She nailed it! We could not have made it any better. Not to mention that our two cake flavors were DELICIOUS! Our guests raved about it and the leftovers were just as good!

PLEASE do yourself a favor and use Cakes by Mindy! Our wedding cake was not only absolutely gorgeous but it tasted absolutely incredible. We had a 5 tier wedding cake and a sheet cake. Each tier was a different flavor and each flavor was AMAZING!

Cake was absolutely delicious AND beautiful. I've been to so many weddings where you have a beautiful cake that tastes bad or vice versa. My cake was amazing. Mindy does a great job!

My cake was PERFECT our guests raved about how amazing the taste was and raved about how it looked. Our cake was the perfect combination of our personalities. I will have her make all my cakes from here on out. I cannot say enough about how perfect our cake was!!!!

Mindy sat down with us before the wedding and made our wedding cake exactly what we wanted it to be. The cake could it have been more beautiful or more like her drawing that she made for us. It was at our receptions location when we arrived and it tasted delicious. I would definitely recommend her!

Mindy was great and I loved our cake!! She sat down and sketched it out with us so we really got to customize and design our own cake which I loved! The Oreo cookies and cream cake was amazing! (We also got the chocolate fudge and red velvet which were also huge hits). The only downside is that she does all buttercream cakes and only will use fondant as accents--which tastes much better but limits you a little bit more in regards to your design options.

Mindy's cakes are absolutely delicious! When we went in for our tasting we could not decide between the oreo and the red velvet so we did 4 tiers with them alternating. It was probably the best red velvet cake I have ever had. We have our top tier saved in our freezer to eat on our 1 year anniversary and I cannot wait so I can eat the cake again! I would definitely recommend!

We had Mindy do our wedding cake and a groom's cake. When we did our initial meeting, we were planning on around 250 guests, but when we did our final count, we were down to 180. We were going to have a 5 tiered cake with 4 different flavors and then the top layer we were taking home. Mindy called me the week of my wedding saying she was going to remove the top layer because we had less guests. But after talking with me and seeing that I really wanted the top layer, but wanted everyone to taste the different layers we had picked, she kept the 5 layers - just made them smaller! Also the groom's cake was just like the picture I had provided her!! My Husband was sooo surprised - and it was very reasonable (plus it was already at the venue and I didn't have to send anyone out to get it!)

Mindy's cakes are not only delicious but she is a creative genius!! We had a football themed wedding and she designed a cake to represent both of our teams beautifully! When we met she made sure we took the time to explore all options and researched ideas. Her creation was better than anything we found online! It was a hit at the wedding - yummy and fun!

Mindy was hands down the best cake presenter I had ever saw!! she was great didn't hesitate on any design and presented our cake well!! people are still bragging about our cake and we didn't even get to try it the day of just for the tasting and it was delicious.. don't skip this woman in your cake decision!!

Wow! My cake was absolutely beautiful. When I had my planning session with Mindy she helped me really picture what my cake was going to look like. She was also extremely patient when after our inital meeting, I changed about half of my flavor choices. Speaking of flavor, the cake was delicious! It was very moist and not overly frosted. My husband and I went on our honeymoon for a week directly after the wedding and when we came home, the grooms cake was still just as tasty as it was at the reception.

Holy Red Velvet cake! Mindy's cakes are so delicious!! I would get married again just to do another cake tasting. I was able to look through her facebook profile and see a portfolio of her cake designs. I was overwhelmed with all of her amazing works of art, but as I was browsing, I found my dream cake. I had no clue what I wanted when it came to wedding cakes, but this one grabbed me immediately. She does very detailed and intricate work. It was beautiful. To top it off, she was able to offer my husbands favorite flavor, Red Velvet with cream cheese icing. We also alternated tiers with carrot cake and cream cheese icing. Everyone in attendance couldn't stop talking about how delicious and beautiful our cake was. I definitely would recommend and use Cakes by Mindy again!

I changed my mind about what style of cake/cupcakes I wanted several times during the planning process. Mindy was always willing to walk me through the design of what I was picking and had a lot of helpful advice. Everyone at the reception loved the cake as well.

Our cake came with our reception package and so I was a little worried at first, but after the tasting I thought we had found it. We got the chocolate cake with cannoli and weeks later my brother is still talking about it!! Oh, and it looked beautiful!!

Mindy did a fabulous job on our cake! It tasted delicious, and really it was almost too gorgeous to eat. I gave her a picture of what I wanted done and that's exactly what I got. I couldn't have been happier!

Mindy was great to work with. She was able to work around our crazy work schedule for our cake tasting and made sure that we both were happy with and loved our cake design. Our cake turned out beautiful and tasted great!

Cakes By Mindy. Where do I begin? Mindy was absolutely a joy to work with. She was responsive and fun and willing to answer questions and offer suggestions. Our cake was also demolished in 15 minutes because word spread that it tasted so good. Her quality of work soars above others because she makes butter cream look like fondant. Check out her facebook page, her portfolio is astounding. You really can't go wrong with her.

We had such a great, stress free experience with Mindy. She is professional through and through.
She drew us a sketch of the cake we described at our tasting, and the cake that arrived on our wedding day couldn't have been more perfect or delicious.
The prices are great, and the cake is even better!!

I met Mindy at one of the Bridal Shows and fell in LOVE with her cake. It was absolutely delicious. I sent her a picture of what I wanted my cake to look like and it was exactly what I asked for. The detail was amazing! I would definitely recommend her to everyone!

Mindy is great and her cakes are amazing! Mindy was very easy to work with, and has some of the best pricing I found...plus some of the best tasting cake! Our cake looked beautiful. And she even made a special cupcake for my nephew who has nut allergies...just to be on the safe side. I would totally recommend Mindy to EVERYONE.

Since our package came with the cake by Mindy... I only spent 95.00 for the delivery charge. Mindy was very patient with me and helped me come up with a beautiful cake design. And I can't wait to see it on our day!

Mindy was awesome to work with. She was very reasonably priced, and was by far the best wedding cake I tasted! I am not just saying that because it was my cake, my guests have all said that as well (I know some of my guests had more than one piece, and some family members took some home!). I ordered about 50 more slices than needed, and didn't even have 20 slices of cake left!

I had been to several other places to taste, and nothing compared to the taste or value of Mindy's. My cake was $2.95 a slice, regardless of flavor or filling. I had 4 different flavors with 5 different fillings (we had a groom's cake), and it was all the same price. The only thing I paid extra for were the decorations I picked (rhinestone strips). My cake was beautiful!

I highly, highly recommend Mindy, she was very nice and professional to work with! And her cake by far was the best!

OH MY GOSH! Having the bakery on site at the reception facility (Receptions in Fairfield OH) was a God-send! Mindy makes amazing cakes! Our daughter designed the cake and Mindy brought it to life! It was so beautiful and tasted incredible....we didn't have to worry about getting it to the reception since she bakes on the premises. She is very gifted and you can't go wrong with any flavor combo, although everyone who had the red velvet thought it was out of this world! Fantistic job! Nancy Feverston

The cake tastes amazing, but be careful about design. I was very specific on what type of design I wanted. It was a classy modern cake with ladybugs crawling up the cake. I wanted the ladybugs to look real. I realized that this cake could very easily turn kiddy fast. I made it crystal clear that I would be willing to change my design rather than have a kiddy cheesy cake design. She stated that if she had to she would pipe the ladybugs individually if she had to. She took M&M's and painted ladybug bodies on them and placed the M&M's on my cake. It looked terrible. I was incredibly disappointed in the design. Again it tasted amazing, but I wouldn't give her too difficult of a design if I were you. I would recommend only to brides with simple designs. Other than that go somewhere where the cake baker has more experience in design aspects of the cake.
