Choosing our wedding cake was one of the easiest decisions we made after tasting the samples from Cake by Darcy. From the very beginning, communication was excellent. We booked months in advance, and they truly brought our vision to life. We wanted a cake that was simple yet elegant, and the combination of lemon cake with a cheesecake filling was loved by all of our guests. It was a total success! -

Just What the Bride Wanted
We used Cakes by Darcy for my daughter's November 2025 wedding. My daughter had seen a cake that she liked - although it was found to be an AI generated design. Darcy was able to create a beautiful cake that perfectly matched my daughter's vision for her cake. Not only did it look wonderful, but we had many "rave reviews" from the guests. We would definitely recommend Cakes by Darcy for your wedding plans. -

Nothing but five stars for Cakes by Darcy. From the very beginning of our meeting she worked with us closely to create the perfect cake. The tasting process was so easy. You can taste in the comfort of your own home with no rush. Even though it was so hard to decide - there were so many creative choices to pick from! Through conversations, sketches and timely emails, communication Darcy was very professional and accommodating. Darcy was also flexible with flavors, times to pick up and how it would be decorated. The cake we chose, a special combination of lemon with blueberry compote, turned out to be perfect for our summer wedding and it received so many compliments from our guests. Everyone loved it! We didn't even have any leftovers! I absolutely recommend Cakes by Darcy for any celebration and can't thank her enough for making a cake that was beautiful, unique and made our special day even more special. Love her! -

We had such a wonderful experience with Cakes by Darcy! She was incredibly responsive from the start, and scheduling a tasting was super easy. During our phone consultation, she walked us through every detail — from flavors and fillings to tiers and overall design — and really took the time to understand our vision.
I sent her a few inspiration photos, and she did an amazing job bringing them to life. The final cake was exactly what I had imagined — beautiful and so delicious!
We chose vanilla cake with a southern praline filling, and it was a huge hit with our guests. So many people came up to us raving about how good it was. Honestly, we’re already dreaming about having it again on our 1-year anniversary!
If you're looking for someone who’s talented, detail-oriented, and truly passionate about what they do, we can’t recommend her enough! -

I had a strawberry cake from Darcy for a shoot I did, and it was hands down one of the best cakes I've ever tasted in my life! I work in the wedding industry so I've had a lot of cakes to try, and hers stood out to me enough to come leave a review. When I tell you, it was the most moist, delicious and flavorful cake.... I ate it for days until it was gone!!! I 10000% recommend using Darcy. She's amazing at what she does and is so talented! -

Hello brides and grooms! If you are looking for your sign to book Cakes by Darcy, this is it! Every portion of our experience was made to feel special. Darcy has made thousands of cakes, but we felt important and like a priority the entire time. One of our favorite things was our cake tasting at her home. The cakes are delicious and the experience is organized and easy. She is so so talented and even sketched up a cake on paper right in front of our eyes. Delivery and set up were also seamless. The perfect cake
I needed a cake for my second marriage, unfortunately left my decision a little late, but Darcy was perfect to work with! She offered great advice, made sure our cake tasting happened quickly and without a hitch… And even included some additional flavors that weren’t part of the tasting. She was willing to sketch out some design possibilities, but we ended up going the simple route. We were unable to use their delivery service, but she made everything simple and easy for us to pick up and deliver ourselves. I have had so many wonderful comments on how great the cake looked and tasted ! Would highly recommend ! -

Perfectly Wonderful
I had hired Cakes by Darcy before to do my birthday cake and it was wonderful, so of course I would choose them to do our 20th wedding renewal cake. They took my vision and turned it into reality. They kept in contact with us, showed up on time. The cake was beautiful and exactly what we wanted. Cakes by Darcy have wonderfully delicious cakes. Even the day after our ceremony we were eating the cake for breakfast lol. I can not recommend them enough!! You will not be disappointed! -

AMAZING experience all around!
Not only was the cake absolutely delicious and beautiful BUT the entire experience was so easy and enjoyable. Some women look forward to picking out their perfect dress but for me, I was most excited about choosing my cake and getting to try a lot of cakes in the process. The cake tasting exceeded my expectations. I was able to bring 4 people with me and each of us received our own plate with 6 cake flavors, 5 icing flavors, and 4 fillings to try. While we were all enjoying our cake you could tell how organized Darcy was as she was juggling serving us cake, assisting us with flavor choices, and cake sizes, and to top it off she even drew out different design options on the spot for us to choose from. We left the cake tasting with our bellies full and all of the logistics finalized (flavors, size, design). I 100% recommend using Cakes by Darcy... I'm already looking forward to my free top-tier anniversary cake!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I was referred to Darcy by two friends who both used her for their wedding cake and I can see why. The cakes are absolute delicious and Darcy is beyond accommodating! From the cake tasting to the design, everything was so personalized. We changed our mind a million times on the cake flavors (because they are all really that good!!) and Darcy was so patient and with every change said no problem. We did a special touch on the cake by including our dogs and she did a fantastic job highlighting their personalities as requested. Cannot wait to hire Darcy again!! -

Amazing cake!
After several cake tasting, Cakes by Darcy beat everyone out of the water with taste and price. She answered all the questions and the cake turned out exactly as we have envisioned. Best cake and desserts!
We had the absolutely best experience with Darcy from our initial inquiry, to the cake tasting, and then our wedding day. She was so easy to work with and helped us plan every detail of our desserts, including the presentation of the dessert table. Everyone absolutely raved about the cake, and we had no leftovers! We thought we had over ordered, but people went back for seconds because it was so delicious. Our friends who are getting married next year loved the cake so much that they are changing their original plan and going with Darcy! We can’t wait for our one year anniversary so we can have more cake (which will be fresh, because a small cake at the one year anniversary is free so you don’t have to save the cake topper and have old cake from your freezer!). -

Darcy was so amazing to work with from beginning to end. Her cakes are delicious as well. I mean sooo good, moist flavorful and everything in between. It started with the tasting, I went to another cake makers tasting as well. Darcy's flavors and presentation were far more superior. She did not cut corners and throw cakes in the freezer and take them out to thaw before a tasting. She makes them fresh with each tasting and that is why I went with her, she stand's behind her cake and process 100% Darcy listened to my vision for my cake and grooms cake. She also made hand held deserts for our wedding including amaaaazing chocolate and peanut butter brownies and chocolate covered strawberries. We went with 3 tiers of cake and 3 different flavors. OMG we got so many compliments on the cake and deserts. Her spice cake with candied pecans.......to die for. I didn't know she did the candied pecans until I saw her at a bridal show after already hiring her. She was giving away samples of the spice cake with the candied pecans, I emailed her that night to include the candied pecans. so good! It doesn't end there. Darcy is just a delightful person. Her business is a family affair and every interaction I had with Darcy or her Daughter Andrea were extremely pleasant. I could stay and chat with Darcy for hours, but she's a busy woman. Darcy reminds me of my girl scout leader growing up. It helps to know that you are supporting and patronizing kind, hardworking people and I'd do it all over again. Wedding cake isn't cheap but Darcy earned every penny. Her involvement from the beginning made me realize that our wedding cake was an investment! I look forward to using cakes by Darcy for all my cake needs. Thanks Darcy for taking care of us on our wedding day. -

We absolutely loved our wedding cake from Darcy!! As soon as we had our tasting, we knew we were going to go with her, even after going through 3 other tastings. We actually left to “deliberate” and then walked right back up to our door and said where’s the contract! Darcy is the sweetest woman, and she makes the most delicious cake I could ask for. She allows for different flavors and combinations on each tier which allows something for everyone. Not only was the cake delicious, but it was also so beautiful. Our guests loved it!! -

Wonderful Experience!
We have always purchased Cakes by Darcy cakes for birthdays, so for our wedding we knew 100% we wanted one of Darcy's cakes. Darcy's cake tasting was wonderful - she provided cake, filling for the middle layer and icing separately so we were able to taste the different combinations. I've had friends where their cake vendor only provides pre-made cake/filling/icing combinations so this was a huge win for us. One thing I loved is that Darcy was 100% honest on how much cake to purchase - she did not try to oversell us and was honest in what she has seen at weddings regarding how many people end up eating cake (and she was 100% spot on!) Darcy was always quick to respond via email, incredibly reliable on the day of the wedding, and of course the cake was BEAUTIFUL and DELICIOUS. So delicious that I'm constantly tempted to de-frost our top layer of the cake that we saved for our 1-year anniversary and eat it on a normal day! -

Highly Recommend!
Cakes by Darcy impressed me from the start! I called her about 6 weeks before our wedding when another bakery fell through and she was immediately willing to help us even though it was last minute. She shockingly had availability to take our wedding on and gave me details that day of what we could expect to pay and services included. Her transparency gave us confidence that she was well-experienced and honest. We were able to schedule a taste testing and were blown away at the level of professionalism as well as the outstanding cakes and filling we tried! Darcy was prompt the day of the wedding. She helped to set up our tiered cake and I appreciate her initiative to arrange the florals on the cake. She did a fantastic job and not only was the cake delicious, our photos are stunning! On top of her excellent service, she has offered a complimentary anniversary cake for us and we're already counting down until we can indulge again! I cannot recommend Darcy and her team enough. She was truly one of my favorite wedding vendors to work with. You will be in good hands! -

Amazing taste and amazing service
We LOVED our wedding cake by Darcy. The flavor was rich and the price was great! The taste testing was a fun process and she had a bunch of amazing flavors. She was great when it came to helping me design the look of my cake and let me know what was possible and what design elements might need to be change due to my budget. She was easy to get in contact with during my planning process and for our delivery. I would definitely go with her again for any cake I would need in the future. Everyone raved about our cake! Darcy hosted an amazing taste panel to select sponge/fillings. She delivered/set up and coordinated with our florist to decorate it on site. It looked gorgeous. Her tip to cut the cake as soon as the couple was introduced allowed the caterer to portion and plate it while we ate dinner. Then everyone ACTUALLY GOT TO EAT CAKE, instead of melting away to the dance floor or leaving. -

Our experience with Cakes By Darcy was a wonderful one! Every step of the process, Darcy and her staff were very accommodating and helpful. We originally had planned our wedding for February of 2021, but had to postpone due to the pandemic and Darcy was graciously flexible with the change in date and even the day, with us going from a Saturday wedding to a Sunday.
One thing my husband and I still recall so fondly was how warm and inviting Darcy was at our first meeting. She made us feel right at home and her welcoming nature was just the cherry on top of how delicious the cake was! We had the most beautiful 4-tier cake! Each tier was a different flavored cake and filling combination and the main buttercream that covered the outside of the cake was just divine! What we really loved was the attention to detail that Darcy had, especially with the rose gold honeycomb accents she created for us that worked perfectly with the flower blooms we used for decoration.
I would highly recommend Cakes By Darcy to any prospective bride and groom that want an amazing flavored and designed cake as well as a wedding baker that makes you feel like family during the most important time of your life. 10/10! -

Cakes By Darcy literally saved my wedding!
I grew up in Roswell, GA, and Cakes By Darcy was always a known local name. Following a tight budget, I assumed Publix would be the most cost effective yet quality decision for our cake - I was wrong, and I didn’t realize I was wrong until a month before my wedding. Given that Publix only needed a 30-day notice, I waited until then to get a quote, which came in at $600, excluding delivery fees, for a 2 tier cake (naked-icing white buttercream, strawberry cake - p.l.a.i.n.). I was shocked and would have expected that price from a private bakery, so out of curiosity and actual need, I reached out to Darcy. She confidently addressed all of my concerns and without hesitation answered the most important question, “Can you get my wedding cake done with such short notice? Yes.” Darcy and her daughter, Andrea, crafted up the perfect cake at the perfect cost in perfect timing.
Additionally, my wedding venue was in Dahlonega, which I knew would be out of their delivery radius, but they provided a sturdy cake cooler for us to borrow and securely loaded it in our vehicle the day before the wedding.
Best part of all, there is no need to reserve the top tier to freeze for the 1st anniversary, as Cakes By Darcy will make a complimentary 1st-anniversary cake for you and your loved one!

You will not be disappointed if you pick cakes by Darcy. During our consultation I explained what I wanted and she delivered 150%. The cake turned out better than the picture and everyone loved it! It was pretty on the outside and moist on the inside. -

Darcy and her team were incredible - such a well run, honest, caring business that works hard to bring every bride/groom's cake vision come to life to help create the perfect day! We had a very pleasant experience communicating with Darcy via phone and email, and also when we met in person for the tasting. She is so thorough and caring, and I was impressed with the time she put into working with me, when she has a full book of business! She also went totally above and beyond - creating two additional (large) cupcakes, and a 6 inch birthday cake for FREE - on top of the three tier wedding cake/2 sheet cakes. Our wedding day fell on the birthday of 3 special people, and when she heard she was so excited she adding these treats complimentary. We were so touched and thankful for her doing this - not to mention the cakes were delicious! So glad we chose to work with her and her team.
