  Cakes by Cathy is now a part of Early's catering, but my checks went to Cathy's Cakes! Got some samples for our wedding cake and had some delicious cupcake samples. They were so winner that my now-husband who normally doesn't like fruity cakes, fell for the lemon, which I was THRILLED about. We went with the buttercream over their signature frosting since I love buttercream, and it was delicious. The cake was very simple (we asked for it that way!) but it was absolutely beautiful too. No hitch in the whole process, and the people there were AMAZING. Super friendly, super accommodating, and really down-to-earth people. Would totally recommend again.

  Cathy's cake was amazing! We had a 3-tiered cake that would serve 100 people. We only had about 80 guests in attendance and the cake was gone! My husband and I had to share one slice (that someone kindly snagged and put on our table), because there was none left. I have heard from some guests that they had multiple pieces of cake because it is literally the best wedding cake they have ever had.

  Cathy's cake was amazing! We had a 3-tiered cake that would serve 100 people. We only had about 80 guests in attendance and the cake was gone! My husband and I had to share one slice (that someone kindly snagged and put on our table), because there was none left. I have heard from some guests that they had multiple pieces of cake because it is literally the best wedding cake they have ever had.

  Cathy makes the best cake I have ever had. My husband and I met her at a bridal show and were blown away by her delicious sample cupcakes. We still didn't have our wedding date picked out, but proceeded to order 3 different birthday cakes from her in the next year before our wedding because we just couldn't wait to eat more of her cake. Our favorite flavor is the raspberry-torted vanilla cake with cream cheese icing. When we finally did book our venue and date, she was one of our first phone calls because we knew her cake was a must. Her prices are very reasonable, and again, this cake is so delicious. When we met with Cathy for our tasting, she provided a variety of flavors for us to sample, and she had a great idea for our cake topper that we hadn't thought of. We were married in the Charlottesville area, and it was worth it for us to pay a bit extra delivery fee for her to transport the cake versus using a Charlottesville bakery that would be more expensive and not as delicious! Delivery and set-up were on time with no issues. Our guests were raving about the wedding cake and wanting to know who made it. My husband and I are already planning when our next celebration will be so we can order more Cakes by Cathy!! Thank you Cathy!

  Everything turned out perfectly with the cake! She worked with us very well to get exactly what we wanted. We also got a multitude of comments about how amazing the cake was. It was probably the best cake I've had. I would definitely recommend Cathy for your event cake!

  Cathy was great. From the tasting at her house that had so many options to her guidance on decorating the cake everything was great! The cake tasted better than I remembered and many guests went back for more. I couldn't be more pleased with our wedding cake.

  Used Cathy for my groom's cake and my wedding cake/cupcakes. Her creations are delicious and so beautiful! Everything was on-time and held up very well. Cathy is so sweet and so willing to work with you and your schedule.

  I knew I wanted Cathy to do my wedding cake years ago when I had her cake at another wedding, and I definitely made the right choice. The cake was beautiful while also being so delicious. We had multiple people tell us it was the best cake they had ever had at a wedding. Cathy is also so great to work with, and the cake was surprisingly affordable!

  Cakes by Cathy Stewart is the absolute best in the Harrisonburg, VA and surrounding areas. My husband and I met with her at her home where she had tons of cake designs on display and had made several flavors of cake for us to sample..they were all delicious! I was able to show Cathy an image of a cake that I had found on Pinterest; she said she had never done the design I was hoping for before but she was so excited to replicate it. Aside from looking absolutely beautiful and exactly what we wanted - the flavors were AMAZING. We selected, almond, white cake with raspberry filling, and snickerdoodle! Guests were raving over the cake weeks after the wedding. Thank you Cathy!!!

  Cathy was absolutely amazing to work with and our wedding cake was perfect! Several of our guests decided to have more than one piece :) The wedding cake was exactly what we had shared with Cathy we were hoping for and even more beautiful and delicious than we hoped!   Cathy's cakes are amazing ! They are beautiful and cost effective. When my Fiance and I went to her house to try the cakes, she happened to add another flavor to the list because she had extras. I thought this was very thoughtful, and we ended up picking that flavor :) So I've been having a really great experience.

  There was never a question of who would do my wedding cupcakes. I've had friends and family who have used Cathy for their weddings and the cakes were always SO good! We had a tasting in Cathy's home and she was very helpful and the presentation was beautiful!! Thank you Cathy!

  Amazing amazing amazing. The cake was EXACTLY what we wanted. The only issue was there was not enough left over since all of our guests had 2-3 pieces because it was that good. A couple asked if they could take some home it was that good. Cathy was great and so inviting when we initially went to cake test in her home. All the flavors were amazing and we are in love with her cream cheese buttercream icing. It is the perfect combination and I am still dreaming about it. I would highly recommend Cathy for anything from Smash cakes to wedding and anniversary cakes.

  Cathy provided the cupcakes for our June 2014 wedding and they were delicious! Very moist and flavorful. We had leftovers and they were still moist and fresh tasting even after a few days.

  Cathy Stewart is an amazing baker! We got so many compliments from our wedding party on how our wedding cake was the best wedding cake they have EVER tasted! It was just fantastic. It was moist, flavorful, and beautiful!! She was amazing to work with and very responsive. We recommend her to anyone for any occasion! We live about four hours away from her business, but I guarantee we will be using her services again in the future! :o)

The vintage cake was exactly what I asked for and was a hit at my wedding with the Snickerdoodle and Almond flavor that was not like any other.

  Cathy does an amazing job! She made my wedding cake, along with favor cookies for the guests. She works endlessly to make sure every product is exactly want you desire--even the packaging of the favors. She is a wonderful lady to work with!

  She was great, my cake was beautiful and she also made an awesome grooms cake. She was quick with any questions and even offered taste testing. There was no left over cake at all. We could also customize each layers flavor. She offers a great stand, we used the tree stump, as well as mosquito netting (at additional cost but it is well worth it).
