Brianna Sent on 06/29/2016I highly recommend Amanda if you need a cake or cupcakes for your next event! Her work is amazing AND delicious, and she's super sweet herself :) She was on the recommended vendor list for my venue, and once I had a few bites of the cupcakes she put together for my tasting, I knew I was going with her. I had seen a few pictures of the cakes she's done and was just astonished and how talented she is! Once I tasted her chocolate cupcake, and I loved it...I knew we would go with her for our wedding. I have never liked chocolate cake or frosting, and I ate the entire thing that night, no joke. My cousin recorded our first dance and there's this hilariously cute picture of me with me mouth wide open staring in awe looking at the cupcake and cutting cake setup she did for us, it was absolutely beautiful. Everyone enjoyed the cupcakes that night, we only had 2 left over- and ordered extra!! The next day I see a post on social media that just a few days prior to our wedding, a breaker tripped and she lost all her fridge and freezer stock. She managed to recover and get everyones order done in time, and I had no idea until I saw the post. SO incredibly impressed with this wonderful woman...more like wonder woman, thank you so much Amanda! -

I had a vision for my wedding cake - but I had no idea if it was possible.... Amanda assured me it was and went above and beyond with the execution. I told her our wedding toppers were bees (my hubby and I met on Bumble) - and that I wanted a “honey” drip. Our cake was peanut butter and chocolate and EVERYONE couldn’t stop talking about how delicious it was! She worked closely with our venue and we didn’t have to worry! It was there, perfectly set up for our special day. Thank you, Amanda!!! -

Wow! Just wow! Beyond expectations. The 200 cupcake display with our 6 inch sweetheart cake was perfection! We had the best time trying different cake options with frosting combinations with Amanda. Not only do the cupcakes look amazing, but the flavors are everything we could have hoped for and more. We were able to offer our guests a variety of options and the canoli cupcakes were a huge hit! Amanda's bakery is top notch with a country vibe. We are so happy. Thank you Amanda! -

Lucky to have found her!
We got out cake from cakes by Amanda. It was so good!! Unlike most weddings people actually ate the cake! She was always available to us and delivered our cake without being seen. Everything went so smooth and it was delicious!!! -

Amanda has an incredible talent to create EXACTLY what her clients want. I set up a consultation with her after trying a sample of one of her cakes at a bridal show. Her buttercream frosting is some of the best that I have ever had. During our consultation, she looked at some ideas that I really loved and began sketching the cake as we talked over the design. It was spot on to what I wanted with unique elements to tie all of my ideas together. She was so helpful when I emailed her to discuss cake stands and cake toppers. On the day of the wedding I was so excited to see the final product. It was even more beautiful and magnificent in person and tasted just as amazing as it looked. The top tier is in our freezer for our 1 year anniversary, and there have been many occasions where I have been dying to break it out. :-)
She also made cookies as favors for my wedding shower. Her cookie decorating skills are incredible - like so incredible you don't want to eat them because they are so pretty.
Amanda is so easy to work with and has incredible talent. You will NOT be disappointed by choosing Cakes By Amanda. She is seriously one of the best bakery shops around! -

April Sent on 12/12/2017Amanda is a true artist and did a magnificent job bringing out vision to life for our wedding cake. In addition to the delectable flavors, the cupcakes and cakes presentation were beautiful and fit in with the rustic adventure aesthetic perfectly. I'm so grateful to have worked with her. Ahead of the wedding, she was flexible and responsive and easy to communicate with. Especially for a rural area in New England, she is a great find (and has a talent that can certainly compete with more urban area bakery vendors!). You'll be making a great choice working with her!

User2250843 Sent on 07/31/2015Amanda is amazing, you won't be disappointed! She helped us to make a dessert buffet for our wedding day that was pretty epic. She stands out because she is so creative and has the art element to all the delicious things she makes. She also can make just about anything gluten free which is incredible. For us, she designed a buffet that included five dozen different kinds of cupcakes (her selection is ENORMOUS and flavors you never thought you'd be able to get and they look adorable), cake pops that matched our wedding cake (amazingly moist and delicious), apricot and raspberry linzer cookies and raspberry squares. Pure decadence and we rented stands from her that made the table look really elegant. On to the cake, pure genius. We had a small two tier round cake that feeds about 20. We had a Disney wedding so she made us the most wonderful cake that fit in perfectly without being too cartooney. It was elegant in white and navy with handpainted Mickey from fantasia casting his magic and a beautiful silhouette of Cinderella's castle. She even made us custom toppers of Mary Poppins Penguins with a bowtie and veil (I'm obsessed with penguins). It was epic and perfect and DELICIOUS (red velvet). Finally, Amanda made sugar cookie favors for all the guests that matched the cake and were individually wrapped and set at each place setting. She did a phenomenal job, super professional, great, creative ideas, reasonable pricing, easy to reach and just a wonderful person to sit down with. Book her, you'll love Cakes by Amanda!
