Abby was amazing! We did a couple tasting boxes to find the right flavors and each box was made fresh to order! She worked with us on the design, helped us through the change in number of guests and did such an amazing job beyond what we imagined and everyone loved the cake! Definetly worth the value! -

To only call the cake at our wedding a "wedding cake" would be the understatement of the century. Abby is an outstanding baker who can make an incredibly delicious cake a true work of art. She made three different wedding cakes for us and created the most beautiful cake display we've ever seen. She was professional, easy to communicate with, flexible, and we could not have been happier. We highly highly recommend Cakes by Abby! -

September Wedding
Abby is an absolute dream to work with! Not only are her ideas amazing but her cakes taste even better! Abby made a cake and a couple dozens of cupcakes to accommodate my 99 wedding guests. About a month before my wedding I had an idea to make the design of the cake look like where my fiance proposed to me- in Cimarron Canyon. This idea of course changed the entire design of the cake but Abby was more than happy to rework the design so that I could surprise my husband on our wedding day. Everyone loved the cake, especially the cupcakes! I would recommend Cakes by Abby Anytime! -

Abby knocked out of of the park. She's a true artist, and her cakes don't just look good, they TASTE good. Had multiple guests asking where we found her. We had a lavender flavored cake with blackberry jam filling and vanilla buttercream. She worked with me to incorporate my ideas into the design and it was even more beautiful than I imagined. We booked Cakes by Abby for our wedding in Aug 2024. Abby was super responsive and professional from the very start. She works efficiently and is a master of her craft. Guests devoured her cupcakes and cookies at our wedding. We did a private cake cutting and shared cake with just a few family and friends. The feedback was everything positive. So grateful we found Cakes By Abby for our 2024 wedding. The cake is delicious, high-quality with creative and gorgeous designs. The pricing is fair and reasonable; working with her was easy: very responsive, consultative, and thoughtful in the design. Love how she loans the stand for a small fee (so much better than rental companies). Guests were raving about the cake. We are BEYOND thrilled with the way ours turned out! Beautiful and delicious!
Abby was amazing to work with! Her work is absolutely beautiful and the cake is so yummy! I can’t wait for our one year anniversary so I can eat another slice! She matched our color palate exactly and created the most stunning buttercream flowers. I would highly recommend working with Abby to make your dream cake! -

Holy cannoli - I wish I could curse, because our wedding cake created by Abby was DELICIOUS, and it was BEAUTIFUL. Absolutely perfect. Her tasting portions are so generous, and her flavors were so freaking good. Stop looking, you found your perfect cake. -

Abby did such a wonderful job catering to exactly what we were looking for for our wedding! She made my husband and I the most beautiful personal cake for the two of us and was willing to make small mason jars on cake for our guests! Everything looked so incredible and professional and it was so reasonably priced. The guests LOVED the little jars they could take home and the flavors we chose were a hit! She made it so easy to communicate and the delivery went perfect the day of! -

Neither my husband nor I are truly dessert people... however, when else do you order a gorgeous, custom cake than on your wedding day?? While looking at wedding cake vendors, we were both instantly drawn to Abby's gorgeous hand-painted cake designs and abstract 3D shapes. Then every step of the way, we were consistently impressed by Abby and left with absolutely no regrets. For our cake tasting, Abby delivered 4 STUNNING cakes (not slices) that exceeded expectations in both presentation and taste (almond cake, cookie butter filling & salted caramel icing.... all I'm saying). Abby is incredibly responsive and attentive to detail. She took the time to discuss every possible detail of our cake design to ensure we were more than happy with the end result. We described a cream cake with floral accents, wildflowers (NOT roses), tan/beige/gold accents, bunny tails, painted on icing, 3D accents... and were IN AWE. Honestly, when people ask what went perfectly on my wedding day, we instantly answer OUR CAKE! Abby is truly an artist and delivers a beautiful product. We would not hesitate to hire her again. 120% what I wanted
I came to Abby just wanting a simple white cake due to my time constraints, and she responded, " I don't do white cakes." I'm glad she said something!
Her sampling cakes were 3 WHOLE CAKES that took all my friends and several days to finish eating.
We eventually went with a beautiful rose covered cake, with a modern red floral design and gold leaf to celebrate my Chinese heritage. Everyone loved the chocolate expresso cake, even my Asian guests, who are picky about their desserts and the sweetness levels. I was lucky that she was a vendor local to the area as well. If I'm still around, I'm considering getting a cake from for our 1st anniversary. All her work is gorgeous, and a delight to browse through. She does special discounts for specific seasons as well.
Would highly recommend, a fantastic experience through and through. -

A Delicious Work of Art
Abby's cakes are like art, very tasty art. You can request conventional layering styles and flavors, but if you work with her to customize your confection to match your theme, colors or favorite flavors--she will delight you with her creativity. She has big talent, which I did not expect to find in a small town. If you want your cake to be special, give her a call! -

Best vendor experience
So the whole process was so easy i cant Recall how i found Abby i believe it was through Zola but the process was very easy and her cakes were amazing! I did Get a little crazy with the sample cakes and ordered 6 😅 but i was Consulting her for my wedding cake we ended up going with a 3 tier wedding cake with 3 different flavors it turned out great she dropped it off the day of the wedding smooth transition -

Abby’s cake was as beautiful as it was delicious! The gluten free top tier and cupcakes were a huge hit for guests, working with Abby was a breeze, she was thoughtful, helpful, easy to communicate with and flexible as guest counts changed. Highly recommend! -

Best Cakes Ever!!!
Abby made the cake for my bridal shower and I loved it so much that we asked her to do our wedding cake as well! Her cakes are beautiful AND delicious, with incredible attention to detail. We gave her the basics of our wedding look/feel and she made something more lovely than I ever could have imagined!! She is professional, reasonably priced, and a great find for any Eastern Shore wedding! -
