    We could not be happier with our cake from Cakelore! Loretta did a fantastic job! Our tasting experience was amazing and she was willing to do just about anything and any combination even if she didn't have it at that moment. We knew we wanted a naked cake and the results were amazing. The flavors: chocolate godiva with raspberry chambord filling, marble cake with a peanut butter chocolate mousse and Lady Baltimore with berry filling were so delicious. We didn't want to have a cake that crumbled when you cut into it and this cake is one we still have dreams about! If you want an amazing tasting cake, go to Cakelore-Loretta is the sweetest!

    Loretta was fantastic to work with and made us feel a part of her family since the first email we sent. She walked us through the whole process and with so many delicious combinations it was hard to settle on just 2 for our cupcakes. She was able to tell us what she thought would taste good and we appreciated every bit of advice. Our cupcakes looked way better than I could have ever imagined and she made sure every little detail was in order. All our family and friends kept asking us where we got our cupcakes from because they were that amazing. We are happy we got us some extra cupcakes so we can enjoy a bit of a wedding day again and again!

    I love Loretta & Cakelore!!! We first met Loretta about 7 months before our wedding date. We had already sampled a few other bakeries and thought they were great, but when we met with Loretta she blew all of the competition out of the water. Her cakes are delicious, and the designs she can do are amazing.

    We loved all of her flavors so much, that we had a hard time deciding which ones to pick! We ended up also ordering a grooms cake - somewhat as an excuse to choose more flavors. She is so flexible and creative with whatever flavors you are thinking. We were leaning toward a cookies & cream mousse filling, so she whipped some up personally for us to sample.

    For the wedding cake we ended up with an amaretto cake/nutella filling & a chocolate liqueur cake/bailey's buttercream mousse filling, along with a lime cake/lime curd filling for the groom's cake (you must try her fruit curds, they are so fresh & delicious!). We had many guests comment on how great the cakes were.

    Loretta not only makes amazing cakes, but she is such a kind woman with a sweet heart. She made us feel welcome from our first tasting, and made wedding planning so much fun! Highly recommend!

    My husband and I got married on August 31, 2013 and Loretta made our wedding cake and grooms cake. We met with her for our consult and it was like we had known Loretta for years. We went over the flavors, frosting's and design the very same day and within the hour we were all set. She made it so easy. The day I saw them on our wedding day, they were absolutely stunning! Better than what I ever imagined they could be and they tasted so fresh! When it was time to cut the cakes, it was hard to even want to cut them because they were so beautiful. They looked so picture perfect, unreal in fact with all the details of the flourish and dogwood flowers, I didn't even want to cut into them they were so beautiful. Loretta has been blessed with exquisite talent. Everyone commented on how our cakes were the very best they have ever had. Thank you Loretta! We have our top piece in the freezer and will be hard to wait a whole year on our anniversary to taste it again.

    Mrs. Loretta is AWESOME!!!! She is creative, very kind, attentive and detailed oriented. Our cake looked amazing and tasted even more amazing. I really can't say enough about her talents. She is truly gifted!! We are still getting compliments from our guests on how great our cake looked and tasted! We even put a special order of our cake flavors to enjoy in the near future on my hubby's B-day!! I highly recommend her!!!

    We had a great time working with Loretta on our wedding cake. As soon as we tasted her cakes we knew that we couldn't go wrong with anything that we chose! She has done some of the most beautiful and detailed cakes that we have seen. When we met with her she was very careful about finding out what we had in mind, and she was also willing to work with us for our different options that were available. Our cake was not only delicious, it was tasteful and beautiful. We loved it, and would highly recommend CakeLore.

    Loretta is AMAZING! By the time I met with Loretta I had already interviewed 6 other bakers and was starting to get frustrated with my wedding cake search. Thankfully, she blew all of her competition out of the water!

    She is extremely professional and friendly. When my mother and I went for the initial tasting, Loretta gave us a HUGE selection of cakes and fillings to taste. When I expressed interest in having a tier of pumpkin cake (my husbands favorite) she literally went into the kitchen and whipped up a pumpkin brandy mousse just for us. It was delicious!

    When my husband and I went back for the final tasting she spent a lot of time with us just hashing out all the details. I liked the look of fondant, but not the taste, and she assured me that she could make the butter cream look just as smooth as fondant. She definitely delivered on this. The cake looked beautiful! It was exactly what I had envisioned and tasted great.

    Bottom line: Loretta made herself very available to me during the planning process, she was extremely prompt and professional with me and the other vendors, and has very reasonable prices. She will not nickel and dime you like some other bakers when it comes to the details.

    I only wish I could post a picture of my cake so you could see her work! I think a lot of the pictures on her website are from wedding cakes she made several years ago. They do not quite highlight her ability to make a modern cake that looks twice as expensive as it actually was. I am confident that she could make any cake in a current bridal magazine. Thanks again Loretta!!!

    Loretta's talent for making wonderful cake surely came through at my wedding reception. I had friends tell me how much they loved the cake and the choices of flavors we made (specifically the white cake with key-lime mousse) with Loretta's help. The cake was delivered on time and everything was prepared as we had discussed prior to our wedding day. I would highly recommend Loretta to any bride or groom planning a wedding!!

    The cake was fabulous!! It looked like a hollywood wedding cake. Pricey but worth the price. Not only was it breathtaking but not a crumb was left.

    What a sweet lady to work with. The cake was flawless and delicious. I don't think I'll even wait until my first anniversary to eat it.

    Was very open to any idea that we had, made a cake that everyone still thinks is amazing, and the taste was out of this world. She is very creative, loves what she does, and makes wonderful cakes! Would use her over and over again!

    Fabulous! My cake looked amazing! Looked just like fondant (looks great, tastes aweful), but with buttercream frosting
    which tastes much better.
