Beautiful Wedding cake!

Cake studio LA was wonderful to work with and made me such a beautiful wedding cake and of course delicious!! I had a vision for our wedding cake with flowers and a buddha statue and she helped from start to end making that vision happen beautifully! We went with the rosewater pistachio flavor and it was delicious, thank you so much!!

Loved working with Sonja and the cake turned out AMAZING!! So beautiful and delicious!

Highly recommend if you’re getting married in the LA area. Very delicious cakes , it was hard to choose one flavor, but you can have more than one!

In business, I take pride in being confident in what I sell. So when it came time to find my vendors for my wedding, there were certain criterias that I was looking for in the people that I was going to be doing business with. I had met with 2 cake vendors and neither one of them made me feel right about working with them.
When it came time to see Sonia at Cake Studio LA, I knew right away that I liked her. She was aggressive in the right way. I was looking for someone who knew what they were talking about all while taking my requests in consideration.
After our 1 hour meeting, we drew up what would be our wedding cake. Weeks following, I kept going back and forth on the design. Sonia never seemed annoyed but rather extremely patient. I ended up not making any changes and I couldn't be any happier about it.
Sonia's cake and the décor was one of my favorite parts of our wedding. I would most definitely recommend her to anyone and everyone.

Sonia was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was always available to answer any questions we had. She sat down with us and designed the wedding cake of our dreams. She delivered a true work of art that was also unbelievably delicious.

Sonia made my daughter's quinceanera cake and it was gorgeous and delicious! !! The chocolate cake with chocolate mousse is amazing!!!
Our cake tasting was a little rushed but the cake turned out exactly how we wanted it!

I am that person that doesn't like cake and swore up and down that I would not have a wedding cake because it was a waste of money. Then, of course, four weeks before my wedding my mother kept harassing me about pictures with a cake and I caved. I emailed Sonia at Cake Studio and she made my life a million times easier! I was able to work with her through email to let her know what I wanted my cake to look like and also pick out a bunch of desserts to go on a table surrounding the cake...this was all from Washington, D.C.! I live in D.C. but the wedding was in L.A...and Sonia just made everything so easy for me! She even agreed to make sure that my mom and sister didn't try to change what i wanted when they went in for the tasting. She was GREAT!

Fast forward to the wedding day, the cake (remember I don't like cake) was AMAZING! It looks fabulous and tasted great! And all the desserts that were made for the dessert table were so scrumptious! Once we cut the cake and told guests to go ahead and reach for desserts the table was empty in less than 10 minutes..no exaggeration!

Sonia made a stressful time in my life a lot less stressful and the cake and desserts were delicious! She was so easy to work with and her team set everything up perfectly for us!

HOLY FREAKIN COWWWWW! GO TO CAKE STUDIO!!!!

I LOVED my wedding cake from Cake Studio!! Not only was it STUNNING, it was so delicious! I couldn't have imagined it being any different. So many people were amazed! The grooms cake was so cute too!!!

Sonia was SO wonderful; she got back to me almost as soon as I emailed her or called. I was doing all of this through phone and email because we live across the US. I was right at ease using Cake Studio. I never had to worry.

The service was totally worth the price. She delivered the cake right on time. It was perfect! I almost want to get married again, just to get another cake from her. I will definitely be going to her again if I ever need another cake.

Sonia's cakes are absolutely delicious!! All my guests commented on it and how they wanted more. We tried a lot of different flavors and it was so hard to pick since they were all wonderful. The most expensive part of our cake was the delivery charge, so I think that by itself states how awesome her cakes are.

i would recommend this place. we are so happy with our cake. cake studio really made it possible for us. not wanting to spend alot but still get quality cake, looks beautiful and eats beautiful, it was possible here. thanks

Sonia did such a beautiful job on our cake. First of all, the cake was beautiful (I did not want to cut it...but i had to). Secondly, it tasted GREAT!! It's so moist and just right...not too sweet, but sweet enough. I would recommend her to anyone looking for wedding cake, or for any special events! People loved our cake at the wedding!! We loved it!! Plus, she is so easy to talk to. We were comfortable talking to her throughout the meeting and up to after our wedding...the whole process. Thank you, Sonia!!

If having a cake that is the best tasting cake you have ever eaten is your priority, this is who you should choose. We did a couple of tastings at the "famous" bakeries everyone goes to, but Sonia's was by far the moistest and most delicious. Her fillings and fondant are absolutely unbelievable. We also had a ethnically lactose intolerant crowd (Thai and Lebanese wedding, lol), and she accommodated a second tasting with dairy-free and (so!) delicious fillings. Seriously the best cake I have ever had, and worth every penny. And it was a gorgeous cake to look at and have displayed on our wedding day. We cannot wait for our one year anniversary so we can relive that cake!

I found Cake Studio through weddingwire and made the initial contact. Sonia was very professional and pleasant to work with. We took her a picture of what we were looking for when we went for the tasting and she did an amazing job with our cake. She also had a lot of good suggestions too. Not only it look absolutely gorgeouse, it tasting fantastic. We loved working with her. She was prompt with her responses and so nice. We got so many compliments. Cake Studio is defintly the bakery of our choice from now on. It was absolutely the BEST cake we have every had. I am so glad we found her. We will definitly use her services again.

Sonia was wonderful to work with, our wedding cake she made - just as wonderful! Everyone raved about how good it was and how gorgeous the design (it was just my style!)

My mom found her on wedding wire and made the initial contact. We were planning our wedding from out of town and met with a handful of cake designers in one day. Sonia's cakes are fluffy and dreamy and unique compared to the over-sugared-weighed-down ones most everyone else had. The fondant she makes is actually made of marshmallow so it doesn't taste nasty like most fondants. She took a lot of time during our initial consultation then again just days before the wedding to go over exactly what we wanted, and helped us come up with the design in the first place. I think we spent hours in her office during the first consultation. We ended up with a gorgeous Tiffany's-blue fondant-covered four-layer cake with ganache and Bavarian cream with hazelnut crunch between layers of white cake.

We had a VERY small wedding (40 people) but I'm a wedding photographer and I didn't want my cake to look itty-bitty. She was able to find cost-cutting solutions to be able to give us a bigger cake that was beautiful but that cost less. We simplified the design and added a fake (foam) layer to the bottom to help do this. She also helped us know what jewels and ribbon to get to her and the measurements we would need. We rented the cake stand from her as well and she delivered the cake the day of the wedding herself.

I get to try wedding cakes a LOT since I photograph weddings and ours was I think the best I've ever had. It was fresh and unique - yet beautiful too! Plus, Sonia was a doll to work with and gave us just what we asked for.

Unfortunately it is not yet my time to be married, but I did celebrate my 20th birthday in grand style. I had it in my mind that my birthday cake would be the 2nd centerpiece to my party (because who should outdo the birthday girl?). After the first bakery I had contacted failed me (I love Bread Basket in Camarillo but I felt rudely treated when I didn't meet their "deadline"!) and my co-planner found Sonia, who welcomed me to her bakery with open arms. In an inconspicuous spot in little confusing Glendale, you will find Cake Studio. Don't be fooled by outward appearances, everything they produce is marvelous.

Even for only being a week before the event, we set up a tasting appointment, ordered the cake, and everything came together perfectly. And the best part is, the cake didn't only look fabulous, but TASTED fantastic! I have, honest to God, never had a better tasting cake in my life. You can tell she makes her own fondant, and everything had such an attention to detail. My roommates and I were eating the last section of leftover cake for the next week. The price was absolutely worth it, and I will continue to find excuses to order more cakes from Cake Studio. =D

Sonia, was very easy to work with, I brought in what I wanted and she made it happen, but I was not able to taste it because of all the non-stop dancing and craziness but I tried a bit and Loved it, and heard it was great from everyone.

Sonia at the Cake Studio was wonderful to work with. We did our cake well in advance of our wedding because she gives so much personal attention that she gets booked up. We spent one and a half hours designing the cake. We came in with some ideas and pictures and and she was so creative she expanded on it beautifully. We could not have been more thrilled with our cake and the personal attention she gave us. She called a few days before the event so I felt very secure that everything woiuld be perfect the day of the wedding. The cake was delicious. We had the red cake which is hard to make moist when its bigger than a cupcake but it was moist and delicious.

Our cake looked beautiful. I'm sad to say, I didnt get to eat it the day of because we were having a blast and were away from the table when it was served. I did get a bite at the cutting and from what I remember it was delicious. Everyone else said the same.

I cannot glorify this bakery enough!! People are still talking about the look and taste of the wedding cake!! It was a big hit!! I found Sonia on this website. My cake was important to me, and I liked what I read, so I went to meet her and have a tasting. I think I might have eaten an entire cake at the tasting--it was so good. (She packed some up for me to take to my fiance, too.) Her studio is great, and I love how her business is set up. Intimate and personal. I'm very particular, and I chose to have wedding cake only as our dessert, and it was important to me that the cake taste amazing. It was! I went with vanilla and chocolate layers, each filled with raspberry mousse (phenomenal) and the whole cake was covered with a poured chocolate ganache I do not have words to describe. We added tangerine ribbon around the bottom of each layer, added a few flowers, and it was extremely classy and elegant. We received many compliments about the cake, both in terms of aesthetic and flavor. I was so happy with my cake. :)

The Cake Studio was WONDERFUL!! I brought in a design and Sonia worked with it, and it turned out exactly how I envisioned! Not only was it beautiful, but it tasted amazing! Let me start by saying that my cake was beautiful!! WE LOVED IT!!!
The price is very afordable,the looks are great,the taste of the cake is finger licking :-)....Sonia is just great,she work with any idea that you might have....I really recomend Cake Studio....I will be back to Cake Studio to celebrate other important dates with one of their amazing cakes!!

I would just like to THANK YOU for the 2 most beautiful cakes you made for me. I loved everything about the cakes, especially the taste. Your attention to detail is just phenomenal. My cake table looked absolutely gorgoeus. You are full of ideas and really have passion for what you do. You will always be apart of a very special day for me. My cake was phenomenal! I brought a picture to Sonia and she made it look even better than I was hoping for. When it first arrived, I was speechless . . . it looked beautiful. Sonia, is amazingly creative. I ordered a cake for my daughter's 15th birthday and let's just say my daughter had some colorful and outrageous demands. At first I was a bit hesitant to ask for what my daughter wanted. But Sonia was able to create a cake that fit my daughter's personality to a "T". I now reccomend her to everyone I know.

Sonia, the owner and baker of Cake Studio has been making cakes for me and my family for about a year now.

I return to Cake Studio for every occasion we celebrate. She has a style like no other baker I have worked with. She is creative and comes up with so many awesome ideas.

In my honest opinion, the reason why her cakes turn out so beautiful and so delicious is because of the passion she has when she is creating them.

All my family and friends use her studio now, they were hooked at the very first bite!!!

She is also VERY affordable, unlike other bakeries in the area, a cake isnt going to break your bank account.

Thanks to Sonia and the Cake Studio..we'll be back!!!

I ordered my wedding cake with this vendor. They were largely very easy to work with, especially considering that I did all of my planning through e-mail and over the phone. Many comments from guests. Not much to say- it was perfect made-to-order exactly how we wanted it! Be willing to pay for it though!

Sonia was a great pleasure to work with. She was patient and helpful as we went back and forth trying to settle on a cake design I liked that would keep me within my budget. She was very responsive and didn't require a lot of conversation. She was pleasant at the cake tasting and the final cake tasted great. I'm thinking of ordering some more when our anniversary rolls around. I would definitely recommend her services.

Sonia at Cake Studio Cafe made our beautiful wedding cake. It was so beautiful that we didn't want to cut into it! She was great in working with us to find a style that fit us and our budget. We went with two flavors: a red velvet and a caramel hazelnut praline, that our guests raved were the "best wedding cake" they've ever eaten. Highly recommend!

I took a drawing I made for my dream wedding cake over to Sonia at Cake Studio. After trying some samples, and practically drooling because of how amazing the cake was, she took my drawing, asked some simple questions and I was on my way.

On the day of my wedding, I had a couple of issues with my flowers, but when I looked over at my cake, all those issues went away. Seriously, the cake was absolutely stunning and was entirely too pretty to cut into. Not to mention, it was absolutely delicious!

Thank you Sonia for making my vision come to life. The cake was perfect, and better than I could have ever imagined!

The cake from Cake Studio was gorgeous. It was exactly what I wanted. When I met with the consultant to choose a cake, she quickly drew a beautiful sketch of what I requested, which I have put in my scrap book.

The wedding cake I got here was REALLY GOOD! I highly recommend Sonia to anyone. Many of my guest complimented on how much they like the cake. She knows really knew what we wanted. I was very impressed by haer.

I loved Sonia! I told her what my theme for the wedding was and she explained to me different options she can do for me. She wasn't money driven, but express her creativeness openly. She told me what I can do to save money which really helped me. After speaking with her, I knew she would be able to do what I have envisioned. The day of the wedding... when I saw the cake, it was more than what I had expected. It was perfect.

I am a very picky person. I did not have anything bad to say =) I loved it! I would recommend her to anyone that will be marrying!

Sonia designed a gorgeous "Tiffany Box" cake for my wedding. I was amazed at the detail and artistry that went in to the desining of my cake. I was completely blown away at how amazing the cake was decorated! Me and my wife couldn't have chosen a better cake! The designs were so intricate and elegant and the photos look even better! I will definitely advise future newly-weds to think about getting their cake from here!

Sonia is a very nice person to work with. She is professional and very friendly. Our wedding cake made by her was just as wonderful. Everyone at the wedding asked about it and they liked her creativity and design. The cake was moist and fresh. we had tight budget but she managed to work out with her own ideas and made the cake PERFECT ! She is the person you can trust !

We started out with one idea for the cake and changed our minds half way through. Sonia did an absolutely gorgeous job. I didn't want to cut the cake because it was so beautiful. Then when we did, it tasted delicious.

This was the first cake vendor I met with and fell in love at first meeting! A friend recommend her services! Cake studio is the best, she works with your budget and lets you know up front what you can have for your money, which is goes pretty far!

My cake turned out BEAUTIFUL and very TASTY! Very classy and sophisticated! She went as far as matching the cake with my candles which was a last minute request and turned out beautiful. Cake was exactly what I wanted and the taste was really good, not overpowering. Her input is very helpful and trust worthy. There was a little confusion at the end with the return of the rented materials, but all in all, GREAT SERVICE! I highly recommend Cake Studio.

The cake was gorgeous! it arrived on time and looked wonderful but mainly, it was so delicious! I usually cant have too much cake but on my wedding day I actually had two slices :)

Sonia exceeded our expectations with a cake that looked fantastic and tasted every bit as good as it looked. She offered a tremendous palette of flavors to choose from and helped us to narrow down the options based on our reception needs. The cake was delivered professionally, on time, with no hassles or headaches...and all in all, it was a great value for the wonderful impression it made on our guests. Given the occasion to do so, we would definitely choose Cake Studio again!
