If you want a fun vendor who is willing to brainstorm with you, work with your style and help take your wedding to the next level then its Cake Llama! To say that people loved our dessert table would be an understatement! I had bridesmaids out on the dance floor dancing with the churros and taking pictures of the cake all night! I couldn't have asked for better desserts at our wedding and Cake Llama's amazing unique energy just helped pump me up a little bit more :) -

I used cake llama for my September wedding and I cannot recommend Alyssa enough. My wedding cake was gorgeous AND delicious. She also made a gorgeous crème brûlée mini dessert for all of my guests and everyone has been raving about it. Alyssa was just so much fun to work with and definitely delivered and her prices are unbeatable. -

Omg Cake Llama… I cannot say enough good things about Alyssa. She is AMAZING. Goes above and beyond on what is expected. From the tiny cupcakes for our cake testers, to the set up and delivery on our wedding day, she did an amazing job. Not only did she knock our wedding cake out of the park (hello, honey fig!!!) she also baked some amazing barkies for the dogs and all of them LOVED it. Thank you for making our special day, perfection! -

I was never a big fan of wedding cake and was not very excited to do cake tastings for my own. When my husband and I tasted her samples, we knew we had to book with her. Alyssa is extremely responsive and willing to work with you no matter what you want. Absolutely beautiful cake that was delicious. So happy we booked with her. -

Hiring Alyssa was a great decision. Ahead of the wedding, she actually came to our house for a tasting and brought a huge selection of pies to try. We loved talking about our vision with her and she shared our excitement. We got married on July 4th, so we decided to do pies (can you think of anything more American than apple pie??) and arrange them in a flag pattern. When COVID hit and everything was unsure, she kept in close contact with me and was so kind when we had to cut down the number of pies we needed. Our guests loved them and she even provided little to-go boxes so people could take home a pie easily. -

Alyssa is AMAZING! Her work and everything she stands for, I cannot say enough great thing about this company! From our initial encounter I had with her, I was upfront with how rigid we were with our budget and she proposed so many different options for us in order to get everything we wanted! We were able to get a cake and full dessert bar that I was able to completely customize with NO LIMITATIONS!! I was completely blown away with what her and her team were able to do with presentations and flavors. We had a full dessert bar, and when I tell you there was not a SINGLE CRUMB of it left behind... everything was so delicious I had multiple guests coming back for 2nd and 3rd servings of cake and all of them telling me how good it was! I will definitely continue to use Cake Llama for all other dessert needs in the future! -

Great Quality
We used Cake Llama as an addition to our wedding cake caterer. We bought 2dz cupcake stacks to compliment our cake.
They were ABSOLUTELY tasty! She was easy to communicate, and was very patient with us working through our travel.
Only giving 4 stars due to miscommunication on my expectations of the final product. The cupcakes were missing the frosting and flowers on the top. This made it REALLY stressful for us to figure out what to do with them one day before the wedding. Fortunately, I’m a bit crafty so I was able to add some fresh flowers, but they were definitely missing the frosting on the top.
They were inexpensive, for the quality but I feel like it could’ve been communicated that they were going to be missing the tops

Disappointed, Then Shocked - Extremely Unprofessional
In the beginning, I had an awesome experience working with Alyssa. She seemed genuinely excited to help us plan, had great ideas, and her desserts looked beautiful and delicious. After booking, we heard from her again a few weeks before the wedding, and not until the week before because my emails went to her spam folder (that's ok, it happens).
But overall, I was underwhelmed with the products, and I didn't feel like my inspiration photos were used. Rather than tell me ahead of time she had to make some executive decisions and couldn't do what I had requested, I heard nothing.
I was sent a request for the final invoice on our wedding day as we were getting married. I had forgotten I had a balance due in the chaos of planning, but of course, I would pay what was owed. However, because she was informed I was unhappy with the final result, I received a text the following day stating that payment was non-negotiable and that I needed to pay by the end of the day or get a late fee. She, my coordinator, and my sister (my MOH) had a back-and-forth all day while I was with my new husband's family, and by the time I was home, I was shocked at the drama it caused.
I sent her the payment and then spent about an hour drafting a response that I thought was thoughtful, professional, and kindly worded. I explained that I wanted to be candid with her rather than leaving a negative review publicly because I'm also a business owner, and I get that things just happen (and some of this was my oversight).
Her replies to both my coordinator and I were shockingly unprofessional and callous. She unfollowed me and my sister on Instagram and blocked us from seeing her story posts before posting a series of dramatic updates for her clients. She texted me, stating she was tired of being "blatantly insulted for work she was proud of" and that the conversation was over. Honestly, the entire scenario just made me sad. I respected her as an owner and the epic work she did, but the end result literally looked like a meme for what you ordered vs. what you got. -

The owner is EXTREMELY unprofessional. From posting all of her drama on Instagram to literally not responding to calls/texts and standing me up for the cake tasting. We drove hours into town for our tasting and she was a no show. Did not reschedule or cancel just ghosted us. After I requested my deposit refund since it was HER mistake she refused and was very rude and unapologetic.
