30th wedding anniversary cake

We ordered a 6” single tier anniversary cake for our 30th wedding anniversary following our beach marriage vow renewal ceremony. EmmaLee (owner) was so easy to work with as we were ordering months in advance and from outside of the USA. EmmaLee was so helpful with suggestions for design and flavor. She took out all the stress for us. Payment was easy and communication was a breeze. She picked up our flowers for the cake and artfully decorated the cake making it just gorgeous. Flavor and texture of the cake was outstanding. We were just thrilled with the cake and it definitely added to our celebration making it more special. If you are needing a cake for a special occasion or wedding…Cake Fanatics is your “go-to” worry-free choice! Absolutely stellar service and fantastic quality! Just can’t recommend high enough!

Delicious Cupcakes!

We booked Cake Fanatics to cater our wedding, ordering 8 dozen cupcakes in various flavors, and they were all DELICIOUS! We're so happy we went with EmmaLee - our guests loved the dessert and we were able to accommodate anyone with dietary restrictions thanks to her incredible options!

Crazy Awesome Cake

Our daughter was recently married on Maui. She read some reviews about Cake Fanatics so we decided to give them a try. After ordering the cake, and then making 4 or 5 changes after that, we ended up with a fabulous cake with raspberry filling and smooth white icing. Despite our many changes, they stayed in constant communication and brought us the perfect cake for the wedding. We were amazed at how lovely it looked and how great it tasted. I cannot recommend Cake Fanatics enough. No need to shop around; these people have the perfect, custom cake for your event.

Excellent Service!

Cake Fanatics was extremely responsive and easy to work with! My husband and I traveled from Ohio, and particularly with the time zone differences, virtually all communication was done via email. The cake turned out absolutely perfect - just how I envisioned! It was beautiful and absolutely delicious! Thanks for doing everything in your power to get it to us during “hurricane” Olivia!

Our wedding cake from Cake Fanatics was delicious!!! From the moment we smelled it, we knew we were in for a treat. We went with a layer of vanilla cake with strawberries and fresh whipped cream and another layer of pink champagne cake with the same filling. The icing was a simple buttercream, but the flavor was anything but basic. Rich and decadent but not heavy. So sweet and satisfying. Not overpowering. I wish more of it could've survived the trip back to the mainland! So delicious, and they were so helpful in the planning process. Highly recommend Cake Fanatics!!

I got married at PacificO on Maui on June 4, and after a ton of deliberation on which cake company to use we decided on Cake Fanatics and couldn't have been happier with them. They were VERY patient with me as I re-arranged flavors a bunch of times and asked for some unusual combinations. We did three layers that were each a different flavor and filling. Not only did they deliver exactly what we asked for, but it was absolutely delicious and every guest raved about the cake. They were pricier than other options on Maui but worth the price to know you're getting what you asked for when you placed your order. Would work with them again for sure and only wish I could have some of their desserts more often.

Cake Fanatics created our custom wedding cake that not only looked like perfection but tasted like it as well. They delivered it to our reception venue for us. And our guests all said it was the best cake they’d ever tasted and I completely agree! I couldn’t be happier with my experience!

Our wedding planner Ali recommended Cake Fanatics. I am so glad she did. My husband and I decided not to do a cake tasting before hand but decided because we both love Pina Coladas we decided to go ahead and get the Pina Colada cake and I can't say enough about how amazing our wedding cake was. Every guest LOVED the cake including my dad who hates coconuts. I honestly could not get enough of our cake. I wish I could have brought some back home with us to eat for weeks. I would recommend Cake Fanatics if you are looking for a delicious tasting cake. :)

I found Cake Fanatics on Yelp and decided to use them for our wedding cake. They were friendly, professional, and quick to reply. We did everything by email. The cake turned out beautifully and was so delicious!! One layer was chocolate with bavarian cream and guava filling and the other layer was vanilla with bavarian cream and lilikoi filling. It was decorated exactly how I wanted and we are still talking about how great it was! Thank you Cake Fanatics for helping make our wedding successful!

We had a Groom and Groom (same sex-marriage) cupcake wedding "cake". Our only regret is that we didn't take the rest of the cupcakes that were leftover. They were so delicious.

We had direct contact with Jordan, who was quick to respond and very easy to work with. She gave us exactly what we asked for and had suggestions to make our cupcakes the best. We ended up going with a red velvet (sans the red, so basically chocolate) with cheesecake frosting. THEY WERE AMAZING! I can still taste them now. The frosting did taste like cheesecake and the cakes were moist.

This was very easy and they are one of two vendors allowed at our venue, so they came highly recommended.

I wish we could get another cake from them. Thank you! Thank you!

Cake Fanatics Custom Cakes did an absolutely incredible job! I recently ordered a three-tier cake for my Groom. I had it very specifically decorated so that each tier represented one of his favorite sports: Soccer, Football, and CrossFit. EmmaLee could not have done a better job! Not only did the design come out beautifully, but the cake is so DELICIOUS too! Amazing job! Don't go anywhere else for your Big Day :-)

Our original wedding cake plans fell through. We were referred to Cake Fanatics by our photographer, Mieko Photography, who we found on the Knot, and once we contacted them, they agreed to do a cake for us on short notice.

Their website was very user friendly, explaining the choices for the cake itself, and the filling and the frosting. They also had a tool for deciding how big a cake to order based on number of guests. I'm so glad my fiance recommended we upsize that way we had leftovers ( for a few days, Yay!!! )

It was a really great experience working with Cake Fanatics. They made a cake to our design, and they delivered on the promised time.

I would highly recommend Cake Fanatics for anyone getting married, or having a special occaision that deserves a cake!

Our wedding planner recommended Emma Lee to provide cupcakes for our wedding reception. Emma Lee was very nice and professional, promptly answering any questions I had about flavor options and presentation. We decided on offering three flavors of cupcakes: coconut, marble and red velvet. They were all delicious! The cupcakes were presented beautifully in pretty, white wrappers. The flavors were wonderful and the cakes were fluffy and soft. The frosting was perfect - not overwhelming with just the right amount of sweetness. I enjoyed each flavor but my favorite was definitely the coconut. Our wedding was last week and our guests are still talking about how much they loved the cupcakes!

Emmalee made us the most perfect cake. The only problem was that I was so busy talking to people the only taste I got was when we did the cake cutting. The tiny bite I did have was delicious and the whole thing was gobbled up. We did a tiramisu naked cake design and had some of our flowers as décor. It was stunning!

I always knew I wanted a confetti cake and we were so happy with the one she made us. The cake had the exact look I was going for and I loved everything about it. All of our guests have been telling us it was the best wedding cake they have ever had and can't stop talking about it. I would recommend them to everyone!

EmmaLee was just lovely to work with - she was always prompt to reply to emails and open to different ideas.
Even from our tasting she was flexible with allowing us three flavours for the dozen cupcakes we ordered to taste and we ended up using all three flavours for our wedding cupcakes.
The best thing was the fact that I had different ideas on how I wanted the cupcakes and the cake topper decorated and EmmaLee was able to create the look I was going for based on a mix of photos I found on the net.
My guests loved the cupcakes (especially the red velvet) and kept raving on about how moist and delicious they were.

The best cake ever! How many good wedding cakes have you had?? Well, this cake was not only beautiful, but was to die for. Way better than sprinkles cupcakes--our favorite. EmmaLee is a cake artist! Our wedding cake was absolutely beautiful, and it tasted so good!!! EmmaLee took two cake pictures that I sent her, "married them", and made us the most beautiful cake! I can't believe how delish the cake actually was. Most wedding cakes are a bit dry and kind of boring. Ours was 3 layers- guava, white chocolate with strawberry filling, and basically chocolate lovers. EmmaLee was even sweet enough to come to our condo 3 days before the wedding with different flavors to try because we were bummed that with a destination wedding- we wouldn't get to do a cake tasting. I 100% recommend EmmaLee!

I had a small wedding hosting 23 guests. Our cake was awesome! I chose a lemon cake with raspberry filling; it was the most moist cake I can remember ever having. It was beautiful as well. We found this amazing place on line. At the very last minute I wanted to order a special wedding cake for our best friends. Strictly through emails, and poor Emmalee putting up with all my changes, we got the most beautiful cake. It was beyond beautiful and delicious. And hand delivered by the owner. Cake Fanatics was amazing for our wedding! They were so great to work with, I was able to email back and forth with them to get the perfect design that I wanted. It was seriously my DREAM cake. The details of each layer were so impressive and I have received countless compliments about how beautiful it was. The cake fit the feeling/vibe of my wedding perfectly and especially the color of the cake was exactly what I was looking for. It helped make everything to my entire event cohesive. One of my husbands only requests for all of the planning that went into our wedding was that he wanted to have a delicious cake, specifically lemon poppy seed flavor. Cake Fanatics definitely did not disappoint, he is still talking about how delicious it was! I had multiple guests tell me they tried every layer and each flavor was very tasty and especially moist.
Overall I recommend Cake Fanatics to ANYONE! They will make your day so special and it will be specifically catered to what you want.

Emmalee made our cake and it was exactly what I pictured. Soooo beautiful. She is a true artist! And I have to say that the taste was wonderful. The cake was moist and yummy. :) I had a lot of ideas at first, and she was patient to respond to my many E_mails and gave great suggestions as well. My cake had the look of fondant even though it was made with butter cream frosting. Not easy to get that smooth look but she pulled it off very well. There were hand made Orchid sugar flowers on the cake that looked very realistic. Good work! I would recommend this company to everyone wanting a quality cake.

Our wedding cake was just perfect! Everything was the way I had imagined it and more! The cake was moist and so tasteful, our guests really enjoyed the lilikoi filling we had, tasted so good! Would definitely recommend Emmalee to do your wedding cake =)

I decided to do cupcakes for my wedding instead of a cake. Because we all went to dinner after the wedding instead of having a reception, cupcakes as a small snack seemed more appropriate and they were perfect. Cake Fanatics made wonderful cupcakes and they even made a small cake for my husband and I to cut. Even though it wasn't a fancy cake they dressed the cupcakes up to look just as good. They put them in pretty cutout wrappers and put small flowers on the top of each cupcake to match my wedding flowers. The flavors I chose were white chocolate cake, strawberry filling, with chocolate ganache frosting for 12 cakes and chocolate cake, coconut filling with cream cheese icing for the other 12 cakes. I definitely recommend these flavors and this baker! Oh and they were sweet enough to put a note in my cake box congratulating us on our wedding, loved it!

Emmalee is amazing. First of all her product is always as specified to the detail. Secondly it is always made fresh for the event and tastes delicious every time. Lastly Emmalee is just a dream to work with. She doesn't nickle and dime you with evey little change and detail of your cake. She is the best choice on Maui.

I must say I was very pleased with the cake I ordered for my daughters wedding. I had read a few reviews on Yelp that made me not want to call but I was willing to see for myself. I did not receive a response right away but I called again and eventually received a call back from Jordan who assured me that she would take care of everything and not let me down. I told her we wanted tropical flavors as the wedding was in Maui and she recommended Guava on one tier and coconut/pineapple on the other. Everyone loved the taste and more importantly the bride and groom LOVED it. The cake was beautiful and Jordan added the fresh flowers we provided when she arrived. Thank you Jordan for coming through as promised. :)

EmmaLee at Cake Fanatics was so sweet & amazing to work with. We found out about her through our wedding planner, Lorrie @ Maui's Angel's Weddings. My mom & I did a cake tasting when visiting Maui and were blown away - SO good! We did a 2-tier wedding cake in White Chocolate with Strawberries, Buttercream frosting and Bavarian Cream filling.

EmmaLee was super flexible and helpful in deciding what we wanted for our dessert bar too - I changed my mind quite a bit. :) We ended up doing a combination of cookies, rice krispies & candy and she sourced it all, included the platters & jars, and made sure it was all set up perfectly.

We got a ton of compliments on the dessert bar & it looked SO cute! Everyone loved the cake and rice krispy treats especially! I wished I could have had more dessert, but it went by so fast!

I also saw EmmaLee briefly after she had finished the dessert set-up and I was going to the bathroom on my wedding day, and she helped me fix my dress, too! :) She is very sweet & I would definitely recommend working with her! You'll get amazing desserts and great service!

Working with cake fanatics was a great decision. They are professional and reliable. Our wedding cake was gorgeous and tasted great! I would definitely recommend cake fanatics.

We had our wedding cake made by Emma at Cake Fanatics. Our wedding planner communicated between us and Emma for the booking/contract process, and passed on all our instructions and photo inspiration. Although our cake arrived generally how we wanted it to look, we were slightly disappointed that it was not as detailed as we had shown in the photographs. We had a 3 tier cake, delivered to Olowalu Plantation House. The 3 tiers arrived as ordered with the flavors we had requested, and all were delicious and fresh/moist (we did chocolate cake with vanilla custard filling, pineapple cake with coconut cream filling, and marble cake with lilikoi filling). Overall, our cake was beautiful and fresh and tasted good, so we would recommend Cake Fanatics to make a cake for any event on Maui.

The cake was very pretty. It wasn't exactly what I wanted, but the essence was there and still beautiful. Emmalee was really nice and easy to work with. She is very responsible and very flexible. Great flavors to choose from.

My wedding coordinator contracted Cake Fanatics to do our wedding cake for our June wedding a couple of weeks ago. We did do a cake tasting with them a year before and their cakes are delish! Our 3 tier cake was a Coconut and Guava cakes with Marshmallow Fondant! AMAZING! And our wedding cake still tasted AWESOME on our wedding day! The reason for the 4 star only is that we order a 3 Tier "SQUARE" cake but what they delivered was a "ROUND" 3 Tier cake...which was a bit disappointing (2 hours LATE by the way, from Lahaina to Kihei). Not sure who's at fault....my coordinator (Sandra) for not following thru, or Cake Fanatics for not reading the order invoice correctly? Oh well this constitutes this minus ONE STAR. HOWEVER, their Cakes are INCREDIBLE...worth every penny!

I was pleased with the professionalism over the phone and via email I received from Cake Fanatics. However, what I was most disappointed in was the colors of our cake/cupcakes. I sent numerous photos and color schemes via email to the contact. I reiterated quite a few times that my colors were softer, coral peach/pale yellowish, which were what was shown in the photos I sent. What I got was a bright princess pink and bright canary yellow. I felt like the colors looked like a kids bday cake, instead of a soft wedding feel I was going for.
I also had to ask a few times for an invoice to be sent so I could get it paid prior to our wedding. Took a while to get a response, especially considering I wanted to get the vendor paid.

I would like to start on a good note....Emily and Jordan were wonderful to work with via email. We live off island, so all we had to base our decision on was talking to them and what the Internet had to offer. They were sweet, accommodating, and seemed professional. I had no worries leading up to our wedding day....I believed everything would be amazing! Our wedding was just a simple beach wedding with about 40 guests. Our wedding was on a Sunday and our officiant came from the same end of the island....our wedding was at 11:11 am, and cake was supposed to arrive by 11:30 after ceremony since we had no way of refrigeratIng it. I had to call at 12 to ask where our cake was! Jordan informed me that there was traffic so she was running a little late and that she had us down for 12! I thought maybe with all of the wedding stress I had confused myself and had the wrong time? She arrived at 12:15 with the cake. By this time almost all of our guests had already left! I later checked my email just to see, and we said 11:30. Our cake was 45 minutes late! The officiant was there on time coming from Kaanapali.....she came from Lahaina....no excuses! The real kicker wasn't even the fact that it was late.....I just wanted a simple white cake and had sent photos of what I wanted...when I saw the cake it looked like a 8 year old decorated it, and then the cake itself was even worse! It hardly had any flavor and the frosting was gritty. When you spend over $200 on a cake you should at least be able to enjoy it. We ended up giving it away because it wasn't even enjoyable. Needless to say we were very disappointed and felt that the value and quality of product was not worth it. Maybe it was a fluke thing that our cake was horrible, but we weren't there to taste prior and that's all we had to base this on.

The good: Everything tasted amazing

The bad: Everything else! It was not decorated like I requested, and looked sloppy. The cake flavors on the tiers were wrong. I spent a lot of time finding photos on pinterest for them and was very specific. I wasn't asking for anything complicated either.
*I wanted the entire lower tier to be scrolls or swirls as I referred to them, with swiss dots around the base. Yet the actual cake had one tiny wave like line along the bottom next to the dots and the rest of the cake was plain.
*The top of the cake was supposed to be covered in sugar roses, it only had a few on the front half. There description even said "sugar roses to cover top tier" well it was not covered. This was especially disappointing since the cost of the cake went up $100 when they added in the top being covered with sugar roses.
*The "L" was supposed to be a fancy cursive L with fancy dots around it and the fondant work that was done on it would have been fine except it looked like something I could have done, it was sloppy it certainly didn't look like a professional cake company did it.
*The mini cakes I ordered were not mini cakes but mini cupcakes with sloppy flower like frosting. Nothing like the photos I sent and was told that there would be no problem doing mini cakes with an infinity knot on top.
*The bottom tier was supposed to be red velvet and the top tier yellow cake and yet they made them opposite with yellow on the bottom and red on the top.

Our day was amazing and the design was the only issue as there cakes taste great but I was really disappointed in the design after all the photos and conversations we had. I thought it was really clear what I wanted and it sort of looks like the design people rushed though it and didn't put any effort into making it look nice or like I had requested.
