I sent Cake Expectations a vision of what I wanted for a grooms cake for my son. She exceeded my expectations. My son was amazed when he saw the cake and cookie cake decorated with his favorite teams. I received so many compliments on how beautifully decorated both cakes were and how delicious each tasted.

From the minute I reached out until the day I picked up the cake. The entire process was so easy and simple. Denise already had a vision for what I told her I wanted for my son‘s first birthday cake. Denise did such an amazing job with my daughter's wedding cake. She is very professional and everything was great from the time of ordering the cake to the delivery of the cake. Denise was the kindest and very professional.
She calculated the number of guest and how much cake we would need and made suggestions to us that worked out perfectly. She delivered as promised and the cake was beautiful and more importantly DELICIOUS !
The bride and groom wanted a simple cake and strawberry flavored and Denise assured us this would not be a problem. Over 200 guest attended so Denise suggested serving sheet cakes from the back to keep the wedding cake as the bride wanted. This worked out fabulous and guest were going back for seconds. We literally only had a few slices left because it was that good ! Denise also offers to make a 1 year anniversary cake which we thought was much better than freezing the top layer. I highly recommend Cake Expectations in Anderson SC

The cupcakes were spectacular! I highly recommend them over a cake as once you cut into a cake the design is lost. They also eliminate the need to cut and serve as well as plates and forks. They were delicious! It was easy to pick them up the morning of the rehearsal dinner and were in very sturdy boxes. Cake Expectations exceeded my expectations and will definitely recommend them.

Like working with a friend!
Working with Denise was like working with a friend to design and make your cake! She was friendly, helpful, and professional. When I hadn’t quite figured out the design, she would send me ideas and tips for selecting items. The final cake and cupcakes were perfect for the anniversary party. She helped me design the cake topper and decorated the cupcakes and cakes just as I had asked. She even let us borrow a cake stand for the event, which was one less thing we had to think about.
The vanilla cake was moist and delicious, but still firm enough for stacking a tiered cake that did great sitting out at room temperature for the party. Our caterer tried a piece and was blown away with the moistness and flavor of the cake. We had no problems finishing the cake and cupcakes after the event!
Bonus: Her cakes are all safe for people with peanut allergies! If you have guests with nut allergies, definitely reach out to Denise to see if her cakes will meet your needs!

Denise has the best tasting & best looking cakes! I got so many compliments on my wedding cake of how wonderful it tasted. I got the Madagascar vanilla cake and cupcakes were strawberry and chocolate. She is very willing to work with you and be flexible to get your cake toppers, etc.

Denise delivered an absolutely BEAUTIFUL cake and cupcakes for our wedding day. I could not have been any more pleased with the service we received and Denise's attention to detail. Our wedding cake was fantastic! It was absolutely beautiful and better than I could have imagined. I spoke with Denise several times to discuss what we would like and she was very professional and open to all ideas. Denise is a true artist and very passionate about what she does. Denise goes above and beyond .... she drove an hour in the pouring down rain to deliver the cake. We were so ecstatic about how beautiful it turned out. Plus, it tasted delicious!!!

Denise is amazing at what she does! She goes above and beyond for her clients to make sure that they receive the best service. My wedding cake was amazing and so was the grooms cake. Her cakes are so fresh and so moist that my family was still eating wedding cake a week after and it was like it was just freshly baked. I chose Cake Expectation based on prior cakes that she had done for me for birthday and bachelorette parties. It was a given that she would do my wedding cake! For my wedding cake, I wanted small and simple and boy did she deliver! After talking to Denise, we decided on a grooms cake also. This lady is amazing at what she does. She pours her heart into her work. I go to her for all of my cake or cupcake needs. This last event was my wedding and I told her and idea of what I wanted and she came back with a beautiful simple cake that I had asked for. My cake was not just beautiful but all of my guest were blown away with how tasty it was. I recommend this Lady to anyone and everyone.

Denise is the best. She will help you create a beautiful cake to whatever event you need it for. She did my wedding cake and its better than i could ever imagine. I wanted something simple with lace and it was so beautiful. She went out of her way to make this cake perfect for my big day. So if you are looking for someone who is friendly, professional, creative and just the best, well this is the lady you need for your cakes. ABSOLUTELY AMAZED with how well our wedding cake turned out! Denise did such a wonderful job! She was very professional, had quick response times and so easy to get along with, which made the experience that much more enjoyable. I would most certainly recommend her to everyone :)

Denise is wonderful and so is her work! She is very fairly priced (much lower than her competitors), super sweet, her cakes are delicious and so beautiful! We were absolutely delighted with every aspect of doping business with Denise!

Denise makes the most beautiful cakes I have ever seen. She is so creative and very accommodating. She recently made a wedding cake for a staff member at my office, everyone at the wedding was raving about how delicious and how beautiful the cake was. I gave her name out at least 25 times that night. I have been to weddings and the cake was pretty but did not taste good. Denise's cakes are not only beautiful but they are so fresh and moist and taste absolutely amazing. We have ordered many different types of cakes from her and she never disappoints. 5 star for sure!

The cake was so beautiful! We had so many of our wedding guest say that wedding cakes are usually pretty or taste good but not both. However this cake was beautiful and was delicious. Denise is very responsive and great to work with for weddings!
