Delicious and affordable!

We loved working with Jessica from Cake Delights. We chose a simple design and a strawberry/vanilla mix for our summer wedding in August. What we loved about Jessica is that she was extremely responsive and flexible with our design. We changed our mind a few times! Ultimately, we had a delicious cake at a reasonable price! Hire Jessica for an awesome wedding cake!

Jessica was great!

Jessica was so great and easy to work with! I never got to meet her but the cake was so beautiful, pricing was great, and it tasted amazing! She did everything I asked for!

Delicious and Beautiful

My husband and I hired Cake Delights from Ohio for our Virginia Beach wedding. Jessica was always very prompt in helping us create the perfect cake for our big day. We weren't able to taste the cake flavors since we were far away, but we were beyond pleased with the results. The small cake we chose for our 25 guests included three tiers and nine outstanding flavors altogether. The main detail on the cake matched my wedding dress and the smaller details matched our ocean/beachy theme. It was the best cake we've ever had, and we're not just being biased ;)
We would definitely recommend Cake Delights to anyone. The quality of the taste and the quality of the visual detail was unsurpassed!

Jessica at Cake Delights made our wedding cake and she was wonderful! She took our pictures and specifications and created a beautiful cake that was exactly what we imagined! All of our guests raved about it and said it was the best wedding cake they've ever had - and they were right! We're from out-of-state and did not get to do a testing (bummer) but we honestly couldn't have asked for anything better. The cake arrived on time and in great shape. Thank you so much to Cake Delights!

I could not have asked for a more perfect cake scenario. Jessica met with me on a weekend in order to accommodate my schedule, and when she found out that my husband was unable to make the tasting appointment, she boxed up all her samples and let me take them home so we could try them together. There was not a single bad option in the bunch, which made choosing flavors all the more difficult! We ended up going with a chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream frosting for our 6" cutting cake, and red velvet and strawberry cupcakes for our guests. I cannot rave about them enough. Everything was delicious, and BEAUTIFULLY presented. She even used cupcake wrappers in the exact colors of the wedding, which really pulled everything together. Everything was elegant and beautiful and tasted amazing, and she was so easy to work with throughout the entire process. She even found a designer to custom-make a masquerade mask cake topping for us! I would HIGHLY recommend Jessica at Cake Delights to anybody in the area looking for a cake for any reason at all.

My wedding cake was STUNNING and DELICIOUS. We met with Jessica about a year before our wedding for the tasting. Her cakes blew me away, they were so good. And I highly, highly recommend the Nutella buttercream! They're also a great value for the quality, which fit extremely well in my budget! I had a basic idea of what I wanted my cake to look like and Jessica drew it out until it looked exactly like what I wanted. And on our wedding day (a year later!) the cake looked exactly like what we had discussed. The scrollwork/piping and sugar flowers were perfect. My cake looked so elegant and beautiful. And of course, it tasted just like I remembered! I can't wait to enjoy our top tier next year! Thank you, Jessica, for the most beautiful and perfect wedding cake!

I knew I liked Jessica when she was real with me about how navy blue buttercream icing would turn my guests mouths blue! No other baker was honest with me about that happening. When I met with her she took my cake ideas and drew me the most amazing sketch. The final product was amazing! She was able to take our cake topper and incorporate the design into the cake itself. Her cake flavors are fantastic (strawberry, seriously, you have to try it) and the cupcakes were beautiful and tasted amazing! Our cutting cake was a tad bit on the dry side but the flavor was on point.

Look no further, Jessica is the real deal! She made our wedding cake and cupcakes and they were amazing! The cake turned out exactly how we wanted it. She was also able to accommodate a gluten free request. Would highly recommend.

Jessica is so great to work with and her cakes are to die for. The only issue we had was choosing a flavor! She did a great job and she made my vision come to life and stayed within the budget. Wonderful vendor to work with!

Jessica did an absolutely amazing job creating our wedding cake and the groom's cake I'd requested. I was referred to her from a family friend who'd had cakes done by her several times. I thoroughly enjoyed meeting her during the initial consultation and cake tasting. She'd made samples of the flavors I'd requested and also some of her popular flavors to try as well. It was so hard choosing, but we ended up with three flavors for our cakes--red velvet, orange creamsicle, and almond pound with Nutella filling. Every flavor was so delicious! Our wedding cake was simple and elegant in exactly the way I'd envisioned. She arranged the flowers provided by our florist onto the cake perfectly in the way I was hoping. The cake in real life looked exactly as I'd always pictured it in my head. The groom's cake really impressed my husband! I'd kept it a surprise from him, and he was so excited when I pointed it out to him from our table. And as we got closer, he became even more overjoyed by all of the details in the cake. I'd given Jessica a vague idea of what I wanted to incorporate into the cake, and she turned it into something he just loved. Both cakes turned out better than I could have hoped for. I would take one of Jessica's cakes any time for any occasion!

My cake was delicious. Met with Jessica and gave her our idea and it was better than I imagined. She made chocolate dipped Rice Krispie treats also and they were so good.

Cake Delights was recommended to us in planning our daughter’s wedding. We were having some difficulty finding a baker that could provide some gluten free options. Jessica Steadman was very accommodating and was willing to make a gluten free wedding cake and some gluten free cupcake options along with traditional cupcakes. The wedding cake and cupcakes were beautifully made, and all were moist and delicious! Even the gluten free cupcakes were moist and delicious. which is very difficult to achieve.

I had very specific ideas for my wedding cake when I first met with Jessica, and she matched them exactly, from the initial sketch to the final product! The cake was delicious (we did vanilla pound and red velvet) and got so many compliments from wedding guests! The cake was definitely one of my favorite parts of our wedding!

Absolutely LOVED Jessica and her delicious cakes! We ordered 12 dozen cupcakes for our wedding and a small two tiered cake to cut. A couple of weeks before the wedding we added 3 dozen cupcakes to the order without a hitch! Meeting Jessica was the highlight of the cake selection process. She is SO nice and a very talented baker. We had the strawberry cake with vanilla buttercream, a yellow cake with chocolate buttercream, a chocolate chip banana ( OUT OF THIS WORLD ) cake with vanilla buttercream, and a chocolate cake with NUTELLA buttercream. Our cutting cake was one layer of almond pound cake and one layer of banana chocolate chip. She frosted the cupcakes and the cake to look like roses, and some of them were even SPARKLY! When it came down to it, narrowing down the flavors to actually choose was so hard, all the cakes were that good! I can't say enough wonderful things about Jessica and Cake Delights! She absolutely helped to make our wedding day perfect and our guests (who are still talking about the cake) incredibly happy!

If you're on the fence about booking Jessica for your wedding, don't be. First of all, her professionalism is outstanding! She was so courteous and left no detail untouched when it came to what I wanted in a design and cake flavors. Second, her hospitality was incredible! I had not only myself and my husband with me, but I also had my In Laws and a toddler and she accommodated us. She went above and beyond to make it special for us and she even made sure she understood what I needed. Last but not least, her cake flavors and design were outstanding! The cake flavors actually tasted as described and the fondant was even delicious! She is talented, caring and just a joy to work with! She will definitely be my go to for all my event cakes! Thank you again Jessica for making my day special!

DO NOT GO TO ANYONE ELSE! Jessica was so awesome! Our cake turned out exactly how we wanted, and it tasted delicious. Everyone raved about it!! My husband and I actually went to Cake Delights first, and then we decided to make sure of our decision by going to a larger cake business. No comparison! We got the "warm fuzzies" with Cake Delights. We knew that we would be getting exactly what we had discussed. Our cake was beautiful!

Jessica was great to work with. She was very flexible and answered all our questions. With the number of guests we had, we could've gone with a small cake or a medium cake. Jessica recommended to go with the small one because in her experience, there's always leftovers since not everyone will eat cake. We went with the medium cake just to make sure there was enough. We did end up with leftovers like she said but it was good to have something to snack on the next day!

Deciding to work with Jessica for our wedding cake was probably one of the best decisions we made. She was the only person we talked to that actually provided us with cake ideas based on our interests and was willing to work with us on a cake design that wasn't exactly a traditional wedding cake. Our cake had a different ecosystem on each tier - ocean, forest, and desert. Jessica made the most adorable little animals and plants for each tier - it was exactly what we pictured for our cake. She was really flexible and was completely on board with any crazy idea we came up with. Seeing the cake when we walked into our reception was one of my favorite wedding moments. Plus, it was delicious! Even our wedding coordinator told us it was one of the best cakes she had tasted. We really can't thank Jessica enough for making our day so special!

Jessica's cake's our delicious! Her strawberry and chocolate flavors are divine! We sent her a picture of a cake design we really liked, and she did a great job of recreating it. She was great when we needed to make last minute changes--very flexible! Definitely worth it!

We were from out of town so we did all our communicating by phone and email, she always got back to us in a reasonable amount of time! We sent pictures of the style and colors we wanted, and she captured it perfectly. We had three flavors and each flavor was delicious! We had vanilla cake with rasberry filling only thing I would have like was more rasberry filling (but that's a personal perferance because I love filling more than cake) the chocolate cake with chocolate chips was great I love the chips they were not hard chips it's almost as if they melted a little while baking and stayed soft, and the lemon cake with lemon filling was by far our favorite.

Our cake and cupcakes were amazing! Our guests LOVED the strawberry and Oreo cupcakes. Our wedding cake was beautiful. Jessica did an amazing job!! We highly recommend her!!!

Jessica's strawberry cake was love at first bite! When we first met, she explained that she always uses fresh strawberries. And if it's strawberry picking season, she picks them herself! She had many other delicious flavors to choose from, but we ultimately decided on making each tier with a layer of strawberry and a layer of double fudge chocolate with a thin layer of strawberry preserves and icing in between. So delicious! And the cake was gorgeous, too! We gave her a few inspiration pictures, and she gave us some ideas and sketched out what she'd make for us. Cakes can be frosted with either fondant or buttercream. We went with primarily different textures in buttercream plus one faux layer covered in gold fondant.

We were really happy with the cake, and although we didn't save the top layer for our one-year anniversary, we asked the caterers to save us a couple extra slices to put in our room at the end of the night. So glad we did. It made a great late, late night dessert with champagne as well as dessert the next day. I'd love to have her make a small, single layer cake for our one-year. My mouth is already watering!

FYI - While our cake was decorated with fresh flowers from our florist, she also has a source for gorgeous, custom sugar flowers - she showed us a few, which looked amazing.

Jessica gave us exactly what we wanted for our wedding day! We had a vision for a small cutting cake and three different flavors for cupcakes and she came through with some delicious pieces!! She let us taste so many different flavors and was so patient with us. She is truly so sweet and talented and we could not have asked for a better cake/cupcakes on our wedding day! :-)

Jessica with Cake Delights is exceptionally talented in both making decadent tasting cakes as well as creating beautifully decorated masterpieces for your wedding day. For our rehearsal dinner, we had her make us a double chocolate fudge cake with peanut butter filling and nutella flavored butter cream frosting (drool!), and my matron of honor (who isn't crazy about cake) raved about that cake! For our wedding, she made us a 2 tiered cookies and cream cake with a white buttercream frosting, a cobalt blue ribbon around each base and some yellow piping on the side as well as a kitchen cake (served from the back, which cut down on the cost) that was white chocolate flavored with blue and yellow funfetti sprinkles. All of our guests loved the cake (and several had 2-3 slices!). We couldn't be happier with her services, and we are planning on asking her to make us a small cake for our one year anniversary!

Jessica does what she loves and that is one of the reasons why my fiance and I chose her! Her passion is reflected perfectly in the cake she makes. For our tasting, my fiance and I had the hardest time choosing a flavor because there were so many great options! Jessica did a perfect simplistic design on our cake that came out beautifully. All our guests were in awe of how amazing the traditional almond was and how rich the red velvet was. We wish we had more cake leftover!

First let me say the cake keeps really well in the freezer - still tastes great! We loved all the cake flavors but chose a three tier cake with two tiers of almond and one tier of strawberry. Absolutely amazing cake, very beautiful and elegantly decorated! Tasted fantastic, guests loved it, and the price was great. Highly recommend!

If we only had one work to describe our cake, it would be beautiful. Not only was our wedding cake visually beautiful, the taste of the cake was amazing. The flavor we choose was white chocolate with butter cream frosting. The cake was very moist and delicious.

Most wedding cakes are not enjoyable. I've left many a wedding cakes on the table after a little taste. They often taste very commercialized, lacking flavor and texture. But my girl Jessica's cake, owner of "Cake Delights" is the best wedding cake I've ever tasted. It is over the top. Jessica's cakes are moist, flavorful, and beautiful!! They taste home-made baked. Our wedding guests devoured her cake and left not a crumb. So before heading back to the Big Apple we decided to order a small cake from Jessica. Just can't wait another minute or year to eat her cake at our 1-year anniversary.

We love you Jessica for making our wedding so memorable and spectacular!

Jessica's cakes are not only the most delicious thing you will ever taste in your life, but they are so beautiful and creative too! She is insanely talented and I truly want to eat my wedding cake every day!! Our wedding cake was simple and beautiful and perfect for what I was going for - she actually made the outside of the cake look like the outside of a Reese's Cup with the "crinkles." It was so pretty! My favorite part though was the groom's cake she made for me for rehearsal dinner to surprise my fiance! It was a deer mount with antlers and a name plate and everything - it was absolutely incredible!! Seth was so surprised and everyone was shocked how awesome it looked and how it looked so much like a deer. I was so happy with everything and Jessica is just the sweetest person in the world!! Thank you so much for all your help and for making 2 amazing cakes for my rehearsal and wedding!!!! You are the best!!!!!!

Loved every bit of the cake Cake Delights created for my wedding. Cake Delights took my cake topper and limited thoughts of ideas I had and created a masterpiece of a cake. And the flavors were amazing. I love how the strawberry cake and filling are made with fresh strawberries!!! That is truly something still hard to find

I can't begin to explain how amazing of a job Jessica did with our wedding cakes. We had a four tier wedding cake and fire truck grooms cake. I can't begin to explain the amazing job she did on the fire truck. It even had lights!! Everyone was amazed by the incredible job she did with the fire truck; the detail and display was so realistic. The wedding cake was amazing as well with the detail and taste. We had orange and strawberry, it was so moist and delicious. Everyone loved the taste of the cake. I am amazed on how wonderful of a job Jessica did for our cakes. I would highly recommend her for any occasion. The cake was beautiful and the grooms cake looked amazing. Highly recommend Jessica for any occasion!!!

There is only one word to describe my wedding cake and grooms cake made be Jessica - perfect!! Both cakes were exactly what I hoped for. My wedding cake was cosmoplitan flavored and my guests loved how exotic and decadent the cake tasted. The grooms cake was a stack of books written by my groom. Jessica was able to make an exact replica of the books, to the thickness and wording on the binding. It was chocolate espresso and was so yummy. I had the cake displayed at the rehearsal lunch and guests just raved about the design! I will definitely be asking Jessica to make me cakes in the future.

Jessica did an AMAZING on our wedding cake! All of our guests loved it too; we got so many compliments! She did a great job with our theme (Lego) by incorporating in some chocolate Lego-shaped bricks and Lego flowers into the design. And, of course, the cake tasted incredible! We did half almond and half chocolate mocha with a Nutella buttercream, all of which I would highly recommend! It was very hard to choose between all of the delicious cakes she offered and the ones we tasted. I don't think you could go wrong with anything. I also love that it was all made from scratch! We highly recommend that you have Jessica make your wedding cake!

Jessica was so awesome! Our cake was absolutely incredible. We had none left over if that says anything :) Our planners were able to snag a couple cupcakes that Jessica made in addition to the cake and they stayed fresh for days!!!! They were so moist and perfect and oh my gosh I could go on and on but SHE IS AMAZING! **Our cake was exactly what I wanted, flavors and decoration- PERFECT! Jessica made the most delicious and beautiful wedding cake! You should hire Cake Delights!

We knew we wanted butter cream and not fondant which can limit your decorating possibilities. You would have no idea looking at the finished product. We actually changed our design from our initial consult and she was very receptive. We also had to downgrade the size a few weeks before the wedding and we had no problems making the changes with her.

She was very patient with us as we were trying to plan from afar. She even let us come back for additional tasting samples to make our final decision (tasting it again with our other finalist, plus her flexibility helped us made our decision).

We got key lime, carrot cake (with raisins), and banana chocolate chip for different layers. She asked us which we wanted to be the flavor for the layer we cut and fed each other; the layer we were served at our table; and the layer we'll eat on our anniversary. Very thoughtful.

It was insanely delicious and the price was very reasonable. I was eating leftover cake for breakfast on the plane to our honeymoon. We loved it so much that we've actually ordered a cake for my grandmother's birthday. You will not be disappointed!

The strawberry cake!!!! When you taste it, you will know that you have to have it as your wedding cake. I don’t even like cake usually, but this was the best thing I have ever tasted. Jessica is amazing! She made us the most beautiful cake for our winter wedding. We went to taste her cakes early in our planning process and immediately knew Cake Delights was going to make our wedding cake.

We both loved 3 of her flavors. No problem! She made our cake out of all 3! We had a 3 tier cake with red velvet and pumpkin spice and an almond sheet cake.

I asked her if she could make our cake look like snow... and she did! It was absolutely gorgeous and she decorated it so well with our cake topper and the silver-tipped miniature pine cones from our florist.

Jessica is great and I would recommend her and Cake Delights to any bride!

I absolutely LOVED my wedding cake! It was the prettiest cake I think I have seen! Jessica worked with the pictures I showed her and created a cake perfect for our wedding. She delivered the cake on time (all the way in Hampton!) and set it up with the ribbon and cake topper I left her. My guests RAVED about how delicious the cake was (half cosmo flavor and half white chocolate) and based on Jessica's advice we ordered just enough cake to feed all of our guests without going over our budget! The small details of the wedding were very important to me and our wedding cake fit right into to the overall look of the day! It was PERFECT! Thank you thank you thank you Jessica! Our wedding cake was scrumptious! It had two layers of key lime and one layer of vanilla with raspberry filling. It was moist and delicious! Jessica allowed my aunt to provide a customized starfish couple topper and sand fence with flowers and beach grads. she then added her own touches with shells and icing to finish it off! Jessica also made me a custom groom's cake with a man laid out on the beach (depicting the groom) wearing a New York Yankees shirt with a Steelers beach towel and a Bud Light in his hand. It was cute and it was YUMMY carrot cake with an awesome cream cheese icing! Jessica was so sweet and accommodating and I highly recommend her to anyone desiring a top notch cake!

Loved, loved, loved our wedding cake! Jessica did a fabulous job carrying out our vision of an elegant, traditional cake with delicious flavors. We went with a half-almond pound/half-strawberry cake with buttercream icing, and it was heavenly. The cake itself was very moist and flavorful and the icing was heavenly. The icing work was so smooth that it could easily be confused for fondant, but had the delicious taste of buttercream. I mainly used e-mail to communicate with Jessica along the way, and she was always extremely responsive, returning my e-mails within 24 hours. The pricing was also incredibly reasonable; we wanted to use sugar flowers instead of real flowers to decorate the cake, and even with the specialty gumpaste flowers (which were gorgeous, by the way), I felt like our wedding cake was one of the best deals of our wedding.

I agree with all the comments posted- Jessica was so great to work with. Very prompt with emails, very easy to work with. She was so helpful in helping us decide a design and with our ever changing minds on finalizing it and the cake flavors. She arrived early at our venue and we were running behind and our cake stand wasn't assembled- she then helped us assemble it and was so patient with us. The cake looked beautiful and exactly how we wanted it to look and tasted great! We saved some and ate it when we got back from our honeymoon and it was still good cake. When we first met with her to taste her wonderful cake, she showed us photos of her work and made us feel very comfortable. She sketched a design of our cake right up front and the cost was incredible. We can't stand the taste of fondant so we chose buttercream frosting. Flawless execution! I had found Jessica on line and could tell even by the pictures on her site what incredible attention to detail she gave her designs. I had a particular design in mind that I had sent to her and she worked it out so it was affordable to us. Our wedding cake was the most perfect cake. We couldn't have asked for it be better. Not only was her design elegant and romantic and playful, but it tasted so delicious that even days later when we were eating the leftovers we were loving it! I couldn't recommend Jessica more. Along with doing an excellent job with the cake that was in our budget, she was extremely kind and professional and always got back to me right away if I had any questions or concerns. OH MY GOODNESS! it was PERFECT! So stunning and the taste was out of this world. thankfully a friend saved a slice of each tier for us to have and we took the top tier with us on the honeymoon. DE- LISH! Jessica did a fabulous job and I could not have been more thrilled about it. I will certainly have her as my baker from now forward with specialty cakes. Our guests raved about it as well.

Jessica did an absolutely wonderful job on my wedding cake! It was beautiful and it tasted delicious. It was moist and flavorful. I would recommend her to anyone that needs a cake for a special event.

Jessica is GREAT!
She made our wedding cake and groom's cake. Both were delicious and beautiful. We had a very special design on both cakes, which copied parts of the invitations and programs, and she did a great job putting it on the cake. I will definitely recommend her to anyone in Hampton roads area.

Cake Delights was an excellent choice for our wedding cake and grooms cake. Jessica met with us twice to taste and select the flavors we preferred for each cake. Her costs were very reasonable and I think were a great value for her product. She collaborated with us on the design, understanding my desire for height - even though this is not a current trend, I wanted the cake to have raised tiers (my new husband is 6'6" and I was wearing 5" heels - I didn't want to bend over to cut the cake!) She drew out exactly what the cake would look like at the time of the estimate - and the cake was exactly as we planned. She worked with the florist to place fresh flowers on the cake - it all looked beautiful.
Jessica worked with my husband on the grooms cake, a snare drum - and she even reached out to Virginia Tech for permission to use logos on the cake in honor of our meeting when we both played in the Marching Virginians. The cake was a big hit!

Working with Jessica Steadman of My Cake Delights was amazing. Her work is wonderful and truly one of kind; there is no other bakery around here that does work this incredible and for such a great price. I met with 5 other bakers before choosing My Cake Delights and once I met with Jessica there was no need to search any further. I have been sending all of my friends here, and they have all agreed that the cakes look as well as taste better than anywhere else around the Hampton Roads area. Jessica's designs are one of a kind. The cake she made for me was gorgeous. I wanted something wintery and whimsical, and she nailed it! I knew that the cake would be gorgeous, but when I saw it, it brought me to tears, it was even more lovely than I imagined. I wouldn't go anywhere else, Jessica is amazing, and so easy to work with! Thank you for everything!

Cake Delights was wonderful! They were so helpful! They meet with me as many times as I needed to. The cake was at the reception in plently of time and it looked wonderful. People are still talking about how wonderful our cake at the wedding was. I have since used cake delights for several baby showers! They will always be the company that I use when I need a cake.

Jessica was a delight to work with and she helped make my wedding day perfect. I changed my mind several times on the design between the time we first met and the big day. Jessica was so flexible and accommodating. The cake was just as I imagined. I received so many compliments on it throughout the night. Our wedding photographer even commented that he had shot a lot of weddings during 2009 and it was one of the classiest he had seen. It was also delicious. I recommend the key lime flavor :0)

Jessica is a great choice if you are looking for a baker for your wedding cake. Her cake was both moist and full of flavor. The decor of the cake was extremely elegant. We couldn't have been more pleased with the outcome of our cake. Our guests would agree as they were asking for seconds. We will definitely be using Cake Delight for our future cake needs.

We so enjoyed working with Jessica in designing the cake for our wedding. She did a wonderful job working with us to design a simple and elegant tiered cake to complement our wedding colors and the time of year with delicious pumpkin cake. The cake was beautiful, down to the last detail of the little pearl decorations. It was a deliciously unexpected dessert for our wedding guests and one that we look forward to enjoying again for our first anniversary.

Jessica did a wonderful job with our wedding cake. The process was so simple! The hardest part was choosing which delicious flavors to use! Luckily, Jessica let's you choose a different flavor for each layer!
Decor wise, I brought her the picture I wanted and she matched the ribbon perfectly!
