When I called just a month before my wedding day asking for a specific and large wedding cake, they were so kind and made the 4-tiered cake exactly how I wanted. We had several calls, meetings, and emails back and forth and they were always willing to help any way they could. The cake turned out gorgeous and incredibly delicious and fluffy. We chose 3 different flavors. They delivered it in the heat to Fort Worth botanic Japanese gardens and the cake lasted for a few hours in the heat without melting.
My husband just gifted me the same exact cake for my 30th birthday and it's exactly how I remember it! They were so helpful to him as well and remembered our wedding, even a few years later. This is truly the best place in DFW for wedding cakes and other cakes. -

Our wedding cake was not only the best cake I have ever tasted but it was designed SO beautifully. To this day we have people tell us how tasty the cake was. We went in for a cake tasting appointment & I couldn’t decide. All flavors were great! They were able to book us last minute & they also deliver. Wouldn’t have gone with anyone else! -

This was absolutely the best cake I’ve ever had.
We had so many guests ask where we got the cake!
They also made us extra desserts to our color scheme.
It was everything we wanted and more! -

We ordered our wedding cake from Cake-Aholics after a ton of frustration in trying to find a baker for a Monday wedding. We were put at ease during our tasting when each flavor was exceptional. Matthew was so kind during the tasting and worked our vision out beautifully. We did two flavors (white and blackberry and Oreo) and both received rave reviews from our guests! My wife even said, audibly, "it's so good" during the cake cutting. I can't thank them enough for not only making the cake, but also delivering it, for our Monday wedding. -

We had many compliments that our cake had the best flavor.

Delicious dessert table
Our dessert table was delicious! All the desserts were a hit with our guests and Matthew was great to work with. Can definitely recommend him. He was so flexible with our changing date (covid reschedules), too. -

Cake-Aholics Bakery was the third bakery we visited on our mission to find the perfect wedding cake and dessert bar. This cake was hands-down the best, the options were limitless, and the customer service was wonderful! The price was also very fair in comparison to the other bakeries we visited. We ordered way more dessert than was necessary for 130 guests thinking that we could let guests take home extras as favors, but the dessert table was wiped clean by the end of the night. The guests loved it! -

Booking Cake-aholics was a great experience all around!! At the tasting we tried a ton of different flavors that were all so good and moist. We ended up doing 2 flavors (snickerdoodle and blackberry). They even made my mom a small gluten free cake too! Instead of using real flowers on the cake, I wanted pallet knife/icing flowers and it turned out fantastic!!! Can’t recommend them enough!! -

It was an easy decision for us to work with Cake-aholics! They were so pleasant, accommodating and friendly! They made a custom flavor cake for us and were patient with me as I went back and forth on what I wanted the cake to look like, what I wanted on the cake, etc. Our guests enjoyed the dessert table so much we didn’t get to bring anything home, by the time I was able to get back to the dessert table everything was gone! When returning the stands we bought some of their desserts to try since we didn’t get the chance and all I can say is they have a customer for life!! Thank you so much, Cake-aholics! -

Wedding Cake of my Dreams
Cake-Aholics created the wedding cake of our dreams and also created a dessert bar for our wedding. The entire set up turned out so beautiful and everyone RAVED about how great everything tasted. The entire team at Cake-Aholics made the process of designing and ordering our wedding cake and dessert bar so easy and were so kind! We frequently visit the bakery for every day treats and we will definitely be using them for every cake we need in the future! -

Cake-aholics in Arlington made us a beautiful cake for our daughter's birthday celebration. The cake was not only beautiful but most delicious and our guests raved about it. Matthew was very detailed in his initial drawing of the cake and everything we discussed was delivered as promised. We couldn't have been more pleased with it and we highly recommend their services. -

Matthew and his team were so easy to work with and their cake was DELICIOUS. We had a 4 tier fake cake with 2 flavored sheet cakes (Snickerdoodle w/ cream cheese frosting & White chocolate w/ blackberry mouse). The price was very reasonable for the work and quality of cake. At our cake tasting I could've picked any of the choices and they were delicious! The cake was beautifully classic with a hint of Disney as I requested, but the real amazing work was the sugar flowers! They were STUNNING! I would use Cake-Aholics for any cake or bakery needs in the future!! -

I was convinced that I did not care about having an outstanding cake for our wedding. but visiting Matthew at Cake-a-holics changed everything! My wedding planner and him laid out everything they envisioned and it was more than I could dream. Matthew was down for keeping the cost low (as we would be feeding 250 people) and so when he suggested a realistic looking fake cake with a wedge of real cake in the back for cutting and sheet cakes in the venue kitchen- I was sold. When I say it was beautiful- that's an understatement. Once more (and most importantly) it was the best tasting cake we've ever had! So many people commented on how yummy it was to me at the reception. We are anxiously awaiting our 1 year anniversary so that we can dive into that white chocolate and blackberry mousse cake!! -

When we left our initial meeting with him, my husband and I knew it was a no-brainer that we were going to choose him for our big day. He was helpful in assisting us figure out our vision for what we wanted for the day, and patient as we figured that out. On top of everything, the cake and desserts that we choose were DELICIOUS! We got compliments from so many different people about them. I cannot recommend Matthew and Cake-Aholics bakery highly enough!

Unlike many cupcakes that dry out, these were all still moist on our wedding day and the next for leftovers. They look as good as they taste as well. Highly recommend!

Kelly Sent on 03/05/2018We were completely blown away by every single cake flavor that Matthew and his team makes. We designed our wedding cake and he made it better than we expected. We hardly had any cake leftover because everyone went back for seconds. I also had a second cake made for our rehearsal dinner instead of doing a grooms cake and my husband was blown away. I recommend Cake-aholics for any special occasion or just stop in for a cupcake any time. They even have homemade dog treats! -

He was much more affordable than the other bakeries we looked into, he does not charge for the tasting and he is actually willing to work with you on developing flavors, I had my heart set on a pear-spice cake, and he actually developed his own recipe to meet my request, and it was sooo good! I actually had his white cake with blackberry filling at a friend's wedding and it was so good that I knew we had to have him for ours. He is also very creative and willing to try a lot of different designs. We did a geode cake and it was beautiful and delicious, and he helped us design a groom's cake with my husband's family crest on it.

We were able to try 6 flavors at our initial tasting and we had such a hard time choosing because they were all that good! Their Snickerdoodle cake is to die for! We chose a white chocolate cake with white chocolate filling and it was so delicious. Matthew gave us exactly what we wanted and make the process stress-free. So glad we chose Cake-aholics Bakery!

I didn't get to see my cake until the day of my wedding (that was my choice), but it was beautiful. My guests wouldn't stop raving of how beautiful and great tasting it was. The colors and designs were exactly what I wanted. Hands down by far the best place to get your cake of your dreams for your wedding or party. -

“This cake is so good! What kind is it?!” Is a question we got asked the entire night. The cake was incredible! They ended up doing a coconut cake with lavender filling, and everyone raved about it! They also matched the lace on the cake with my wedding dress. The design work was so well done. He is extremely talented! -

It was red velvet with cheesecake filling with buttercream icing and chocolate drizzle. Mine was white chocolate with raspberries and I never like cake with fruit. Everyone raved about how great our cake was. It was so delicious and moist. So many cakes aren’t great at weddings but this is the best place and a fair price. Also, look at how amazing these cakes look! Thank you all for everything! -

We were recommended cake a holics from a family member that had them make her wedding cake. I remember it was so beautiful and tasted delicious so I definitely wanted my wedding cake to come from them. We had our consultation and mapped out our wedding cake with the owner and were so excited to have our dream cake at our wedding. Sunday 10-26-2025 was our wedding. I was quite shocked and disappointed when the cake arrived and didn’t look like what we discussed especially with the amount of money we spent for this cake. It was missing quite a few things. I reached out to cake a holics after the wedding to express my disappointment and the owner said that he got too busy and “forgot” to finish it. If you can’t properly deliver what your customer pays for then maybe don’t accept so many orders. Quality is more important than quantity. They offered me a $40 credit to get some cupcakes. He proceeded to tell me he thought the cake was beautiful and really it doesn’t matter what he thinks because he didn’t pay for it and it wasn’t his wedding. Just kind of baffled me. The cake itself tasted good so I was terribly upset but was very disappointed. The cake was one of the things I was looking forward to the most. Unfortunately I will not be back. -
