Cafe la Cave - Best Decision Ever

This venue was absolutely perfect. Not only was Randy excellent to work with, but the service and food was amazing! I cannot recommend this venue enough! The captain (of the waitstaff) was always there and ready, he even grabbed me some hors d'oeuvres I missed out on earlier, just for me (well, my husband too I guess). :) They made sure the bride and groom got to enjoy their meals just like everyone else, and man it was DELICIOUS! Dream wedding. 6/5 stars! Yes you read that right.

Dream Come True

Randy and the entire team exceeded every one of our expectations and really brought my vision of our ceremony and reception to life. From the planning help, to the decor, food, service, price and execution, we could not be happier with how everything came through. Not a detail was missed and we’ve received many compliments so far. Definitely recommend!

If you are having a medium size wedding, I suggest you consider it.

Our daughter and son-in-law were married there recently. I can’t say enough about the staff and the service. The facility was perfect for the size of their wedding. Randy the wedding coordinator was a pleasure to work with, and the bar/wait staff were excellent. A special thanks and recognition to Nick our bartender who was outstanding, and a very interesting guy who is headed to great things.

Wonderful Wedding Reception Experience!

We had our wedding reception in November 2021 at Cafe La Cave. The team we worked with was extremely professional knowledgable, and responsive to all of our questions! Randy is the event coordinator and he helped us immensely with recommendations on vendors, timeline, music, and decor. He knows his stuff! We were so pleased with how everything turned out; Cafe La Cave brought our vision to life!

Even our guests commented on how wonderful food and drinks were. And our guests noticed how attentive the waitstaff was, and the level of service that was provided by all the staff was top notch! I highly recommend Cafe La Cave to anyone looking for wedding venue options in the Chicagoland area. A classy vibe with great food, service, and people!

December Wedding

I had my wedding at cafe la cave a month ago and I am so happy I did. Randy and his crew did an amazing job! Randy wants only the best for his clients. He does things a little different than what you will see at other weddings that you may question at first but let me tell you.. the man KNOWS what he is talking about. Not only did he have my best interest at heart, he has so much passion for his job. He loves what he does and it shows. He made me feel so at ease the entire process and I had so much fun while work with him. He’s one of those people that make ya feel at home. The day of can be stressful but my husband and I had an absolute blast. Randy and his crew took care of everything. I did not worry about one thing and I knew going in I wouldn’t have to because they’re SO on top of everything. We actually got to eat our dinner... which from what I hear barely ever happens. So that’s pretty amazing. They take care of everything from The second you walk in to the second you leave. The food is amazing by the way.. they hosted 275 guests for us and a lot of times the food can be ehhh when there’s that many people but we received SO many compliments. I can go on and on about Cafe La Cave and Randy.. all I can say is you’re a fool if you don’t book with them for your wedding. The day was an absolute fairytale !

Excellent venue

Great place to host a reception for a large wedding. We invited over 350 people and they would have been able to accommodate 325. We ended up with 210, but we were still over the minimum.

Food and service were outstanding.
Event staff is great to work with, and Randy is awesome at his job.

Wedding Reception 11.2.19

My Husband and I hosted our wedding here Saturday November 2nd, 2019 and I am speechless. From start to finish Carrie and Randy were AMAZING!!! They understood the important details to make our day as beautiful and flawless as it was. They were so helpful and accommodating with all our items and guests needs. I would recommend this venue to all and can't wait to go back! Thank you a million times over and over again !! :)

Fairy Tale Wedding Shower

We had my daughter's bridal shower at Cafe la Cave back in April. It took me awhile to write this review, since we have been so busy with the wedding preparations, but I didn't want to miss sharing my experience. I could not have asked for a more wonderful person to work with, than Kimberly. She answered all my questions on a timely manner and made sure my request for dropping our decorations ahead of the day, was accommodated. On the day of the event, my daughter was so impressed on how beautiful the room looked. The service our guests received was incredible and the food was delicious! Thank you Kimberly, and your team at Cafe la Cave, for making the day so special for us. I highly recommended this venue!!

Wouldn’t change a thing

We had our wedding here in September and at Christmas people were still talking about it. Randynand his staff were amazing!!

Beyond my Dream Wedding!

On December 15, 2018 I married by best friend at Cafe La Cave.

We worked with Randy. He was incredible and made our wedding perfect!

We married in the foyer under the staircase. We wanted a unique wedding and added special touches. We had Mexican guitarists on the stairs landing above us. They played for our guests and also played us in and out after the ceremony.

Randy created a step by step itinerary that was followed by all making the wedding and reception flawless start to finish. He made sure we practiced and felt fully comfortable.

My family and friends loved it! They cannot stop talking about the wedding on how it was beautiful, elegant and with fantastic food. We had passed appetizers and champagne for an hour before dinner. They were out of this world scrumptious. The wait staff made everyone feel special and elegant the whole night through.

The food was phenomenal! My husband and I are foodies and we wanted our guests to enjoy and love their dinner so we picked our favorites (believe me this was hard everything is fabulous). The guests had a choice between New York strip, orange roughy or chicken with two awesome mushroom sauces. The guests raved about the food! Wedding food that was out of this world! This was extremely important to us.

Everything was perfectly ready to go. I didn't have to worry about anything at all. Randy made sure everything was in place and my florist, photographers and DJ loved working with Randy and the staff at the Cave.

I would highly recommend Cafe La Cave for any event and also for an elegant dinning experience in the cave. We are so happy we choose the Cafe La Cave for our special day we will cherish our memories forever!

I wanted to share this review with all future brides looking for a perfect place. Enjoy and congratulations, May you have a wonderful and blessed wedding too!!!!

The most perfect venue with the best team

Cafe La Cave more than exceeded our expectations for our wedding- I wish I could give more than 5 stars. To be honest, I was hesitant at first because I had always dreamed of a downtown wedding (which sadly my budget couldn’t afford) but this venue and the team were far better than anything I had ever dreamed. Randy, Carrie, and Kim are the most amazing team and they really made me feel like the most special bride in the world throughout the whole process. They really understood what I wanted and because they are a family owned venue, they were extremely accommodating and flexible in any requests- they really make an effort to make every wedding different and unique. The rehearsal was actually fun for everyone and the day of I was not worried at all about any logistics. I knew the team had it covered and could handle any last minute issues without stressing me out.

The highlight of the night was Randy, 100%. He was the emcee and coordinator for the night and made the entire night flow perfectly. From queuing up speeches, keeping the food on schedule (by the way the food was AMAZING), and doing all of the introductions, he really made the night seem so easy and super special. He is also a man of MANY talents and actually sang a few songs with the band! At least 10 people came up to me throughout the night to compliment him and someone asked me, and I quote “who is Uncle Randy and how do I get one?”.

Finally, I will just say that our wedding night was the best night of our lives. So many guests told me it was by far the best wedding they have ever been to. I could go on and on about all the things I loved, but I will just leave it at this: if you want to have the best wedding ever and leave your guests raving, have it at Cafe La Cave!

unforgettable experience!

Cafe La Cave is one of the best kept secrets in the wedding industry! Their venue is absolutely incredible in every way. Randy and Carrie were wonderful throughout the wedding planning process, meeting with us several times and being in constant communication via email. They helped our vision come to life. We were looking for a venue that was "all-inclusive" and they definitely took care of all the behind the scenes work for us. They helped us perfect the small details that helped personalize our wedding, and did so up until the last minute!
Cafe La Cave is an amazing venue with a VERY reasonable price tag. We looked at several venues and this by far was the best overall value. Even better, the quality of the food and service was not compromised. We received SO many compliments about how delicious the food was, and the service was very prompt and professional. Randy emceed for us during the reception and was fantastic. He has a somewhat unique sequence of events but it flows well and makes for a very distinctive reception.
We, along with our guests had an absolute blast and Cafe La Cave gave us an unforgettable wedding. Thank you!

Wedding planning is overwhelming to say the least, but with the team at Cafe La Cave you do not need to worry! Our wedding was everything that we imagined it to be and more. Randy, Carrie, and Kimberly were top notch and were able to answer any questions and put our nerves at ease. We are beyond pleased with the way our wedding turned out! ALL NAME BRAND LIQUOR IS INCLUDED, NO PACKAGES, GRATUITY INCLUDED, EXCEPTIONAL FOOD, GREAT REPUTATION AND AN INCREDIBLY ATTENTIVE SERVING STAFF WERE ATTRACTIVE ELEMENTS, BUT WHAT REALLY SOLD US WAS RANDY SUTTER. My husband Bobby and I had our wedding reception at Cafe La Cave on 6/24/16. It truly was the best night of our lives. Randy is AMAZING to work with. He is so easygoing, kind and a blast to be around. He makes the wedding planning process fun! He lets you know his opinion, but is not pushy at all. His ideas are different, not the typical flow of a wedding reception, but honestly you will thank him when it's all said and done. He knows how to put on a good show for sure! My advice to future brides is listen to Randy and you will be golden. He will not steer you in the wrong direction. The food is also great...cannot beat the food..not typical banquet food. Everything about Cafe La Cave is amazing...the food, the decor, the lighting and most importantly....Randy!! Thank you Randy, Carrie and the rest of the staff at Cafe La Cave for making mine and my husband's wedding night the best day ever!!!

We are extremely happy we chose Café La Cave as our wedding reception venue. I cannot even count how many compliments we received on the food, the service, the venue décor and the flow of the evening. People kept telling us it was the best wedding they had ever been too. Randy was great to work with, he was very responsive to all of my emails and phone calls and had a lot of great suggestions. Definitely trust him with the layout of the evening. It's not conventional but it really works and I am very happy we didn't change anything. I can't recommend Café La Cave enough for your next event. It was wonderful!

Café La Cave was amazing!! Randy was there for my husband and I every step of the way, offering suggestions, suggesting vendors and negotiating with vendors. I took Randy's advice on my florist, my photographer and the band, absolutely remarkable, I could not be happier. The food is so elegant and well prepared, I had several guest tell me they are coming to the restaurant because the wedding food was so enjoyable. The service was impeccable, a waiter to every table. Top shelf liquor, the flow was so seamless, even when my mother in law lost her shoe going down the aisle, Randy swooped in and put her shoe back on without batting an eye. Everything was beyond my expectations, the night was truly memorable and I'm grateful I was able to find such a gem where you are cared for like family and everyone is there to make your experience amazing.

Cafe La Cave is the entire package! Amazing food; classic, elegant and gorgeous atmosphere; impeccable service; and Carrie and Randy are worth more than their weight in gold!
- The Food:: Everything from the appetizers being passed during cocktail hour (along with unlimited amounts of champagne), to the 4 course dinner was sensational. The appetizers were always in full supply, so our guests were never looking around for the wait staff to get a something before all of the hor devours were gone. The entire dinner menu was flawless! The lobster bisque is soo good, you'll want to eat from a punch bowl; the salad was elegant and fresh; and the main course was incredible! Everyone could not stop raving about the delicious options we were able to serve them and how juicy, flavorful and filling it was.
- The Service:: The wait staff, bartenders and all the additional help did a fantastic job the entire night. We had 265 people attend, and with 3 bartenders - there was NEVER a line! The bartenders were quick, personable and the drinks were flowing! The wait staff brought out and placed the food quickly, and cleaned up quietly. That is something you hardly ever see at weddings.
- The Atmosphere:: Carrie surprised us by decorating the place before with their Christmas decorations, which completely blew us away! The place looked incredibly elegant and something I couldn't even dream up! The entire venue felt warm and inviting, and our guests felt as though they were somewhere out of a Disney Fairy-tale.
- Reception:: Here is where Carrie shined! She made our reception hall look immaculate! People cannot stop complimenting us on how gorgeous the space looked.
- LISTEN TO RANDY!! He is a genius as a wedding coordinator and will never steer you wrong! When he says trust me - Do it! If he brings up a different layout than a traditional wedding, listen to him. My husband and I were skeptical at first, but we trusted Randy - and Thank god we did! The night was beyond magical.

Our wedding reception was PERFECT! We could not have asked for a more extravagant venue for our special day. They have exceeded our expectations in every single way. Working with them has been a seamless process. I don't have the words to describe how wonderful everything was. The service our guests received was incredible (our guests still rave about it). very nice banquet hall. Reserved it as my wedding ceremony and reception venue. Kim, was amazing and was very accommodating with all the requests. Location was perfect and had plenty of parking. If we could give a gazillion stars we would. We had the most fantastic wedding and reception ever!!!! We can not say enough nice things about Randy, Carrie, Romero and their staff. Every detail was taken care of...we never had to worry about anything--they covered it...100%. We along with everyone of our guest had a fantastic time...and the food...OH the food... it was DELICIOUS!!! The filet, salmon, chicken and vege en croute were fantastic. The service was beyond exceptional!!! We highly recommend Cafe La Cave to anyone looking for outstanding service, excellent food and a beautiful venue!!! They treat you as if you are family!!!! Ahhh! Where do I begin? From the moment I walked into Cafe La Cave it gave me goose bumps and upon meeting Randy I knew I had found the perfect place for our wedding. So many other places were cold and rude and were just willing to offer you their room and food but with Randy we got something completely different. PASSION! Randy is detail oriented and loves his job. He is all about making every bride’s wedding dreams come true. He offered lots of creative ideas and really took the reins on making sure everything was coordinated elegantly. He referred me to the BEST vendors with who I was able to make my dream a reality. I had lots of ideas and visions (BLINGY, DREAMY, CLASSY, FUN) and we were able to make it all come together. I cried the moment I saw both the ceremony and reception rooms. They were stunning! We had the time of our lives. Everything was sheer perfection. The food was delicious (filet and chicken), the service was IMPECCABLE and the dance floor was packed. Friends and family are blown away by the venue and service provided. I was told it was the best wedding they had ever been to, the most beautiful and stunning, the best food they ever had at a wedding, their glasses were never empty, the service staff was friendly, patient and approachable, the list goes on and on. The staff also began to recognize my guests (in one instance my aunt didn’t even have to give her ticket to the valet, she turned around and her car was there). This is an event that will go down in history as one of the best! I cannot thank Randy and the crew at Café La Cave enough for helping our wedding dream come true! xoxoxoxo

I wish I could give Café La Cave a billion stars. My husband and I got married on 10/31/14 for a Halloween themed wedding. From the moment we walked into Café la Cave back in January we knew this was the right place for our special day. Kim and Randy became part of our family as we planned our big day. There is such attention to detail. We did not have a conventional wedding; in fact some family members were reluctant to the idea of a Halloween wedding. However, Randy made our wedding into the most beautiful, classy, romantic, and unique Halloween themed event. We have been getting several comments that it was the best wedding they had ever been to. Randy took it upon himself to ensure that Mark and I were on point with what was going throughout the evening. We did not have to stress once throughout the night about how things were going to happen. In fact, I am here to say that we had our wedding 10 months after being engaged and we did not feel stressed once throughout the entire planning process. It was thanks to Café la Cave that our event went perfectly, and become more incredible than anything I could have ever imagined. I am actually going to miss getting to spend time with Randy and Kim as they are some amazing people and really made us feel like we were the only event they had for the year. I should mention Randy even had his own daughter's wedding the month before ours and he still made time for every little phone call or email. I cannot say enough wonderful things about our wedding, the staff, and the entire venue. The food tasting was such a blast and Kim made the entire process fun and easy. Everyone working at Café la Cave takes it upon themselves to think of new ideas to make your day everything you want it to be. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Café La Cave! Wow - Café La Cave was the perfect place to host my wedding. It's a family run business and Randy and Carrie have a TON of passion for what they do and provided soooooooo much help along the way. Randy has a lot of expertise planning a wedding and made great suggestions of how to set up the room, the look / feel of the centerpieces, the perfect linens, the flow of the evening and so much more. Carrie was super responsive to every one of my emails and had so much patience for all my questions along the way. ALL of the guests raved about the food (one person even said it's the best food he's eaten anywhere in this whole life) and the service was impeccable. A lot of people said it's the best wedding they've even been to and it's all because of Café La Cave. In addition to this Randy has a lot connections in the industry and he helped me find uplighting, centerpieces, linens, and chairs at a great price. Best of all - all this amazing food, service, and TLC come at a very reasonable price. Book your wedding here - you'll be happy you did!

Hands down the best venue outside of the Chicago city limits. We have never seen a more beautiful set up. Randy was very professional and extremely easy to work with. There's an obvious reason why he is recruited all over to work on weddings. He made our ceremony and reception more amazing than we could have ever imagined. And because of all his experience and involvement our day was completely stress free and we were able to enjoy the reception with our family and friends. He was there to guide us and make sure everything was done smoothly and in a timely manner. In addition to Randy, the staff at la Cave were extremely professional as well. Everyone worked as a team to make our wedding special for us and our guests. And the food was amazing! Our guests raved that it was the best they ever had. Overall, our wedding is something that we will never forget because it was the most beautiful and enjoyable experience for all involved.

We had our daughter’s wedding at Cafe la Cave. The phone calls and messages from our guests, complimenting us, keep coming in!

It truly was a night we will never forget! The room looked amazing, the food was unbelievably delicious, service, decor were all just perfect, No detail was missed — even better than we ever could have imagined. The special touches resulted in an elegant and fun evening for all ages!

For all the guys out there...this is coming from a pretty normal 29 y/o guy so hear me out. If your fiance wants to book here...agree with her. I was a little nervous at first booking at this place..Randy seemed a little "intense" and the "style" of wedding was a little different. I have been to at least 15 weddings over the last three years...I have never experienced a wedding like this before (and I am not just saying this because it was our own..although Im sure i am a little biased.) but it was outstanding!!!! From the second we walked into the room we knew it was going to be a CRAZY/GREAT night. Everything was done and looked spectacular!!! Randy was VERY relaxed and helpful...just blended in with the crowd and informed us casually of what was going to happen next (5 stars to Randy and his crew and service) The lighting, curtains (make sure to get the drapes/curtains in the back of the wedding table), DJ (Chris Vittorio SPIN DJ was FABULOUS)(Fleur du Jour Chicago by Kate Powell had OUTSTANDING and REASONABLE priced flowers) to the way the agenda of the wedding went. The food was outstanding...people are still talking about how good that it was. Drinks flew freely from the bar. My only regret was not eating enough of the appetizers during cocktail hour :(

In the end its your wedding and what you make of it...get up and dance and have fun!! Get the crowd going a little and this place will ROCK!! I never write reviews on stuff...but I HAVE to because it was such a outstanding wedding/service. I am not trying to gloat or say how great our wedding was but I know how helpful reviews like this can be. There was not a single mishap. I know this is a stressful time trying to find the right venue...listen to Randy and his advice...he may have "different" ideas then the normal wedding but he is deff. right on and will make your wedding one that EVERYONE will remember!!!

My husband and I got married here a few weeks ago, and our wedding was everything we dreamed it would be, and more! From the pre-wedding planning with Carrie and Randy to the night-of service, we had a wonderful experience. The food was excellent, the wait staff was attentive, and the overall flow of the night was spot on. Randy was great to work with, and he clearly knows his business. I was a bit concerned when he had me think outside the box about the flow of the evening, but I am SO GLAD I listened! The dance sets he suggested were a ton of fun, and my guests had a ball! The entire Cafe La Cave staff really helped our vision of a perfect wedding become a reality. Our guests continue to compliment us on such a great party!

I highly recommend any wedding or event at Cafe La Cave! Carrie and Randy are amazing, talented, creative, and such down-to-earth people to work with...there are not enough good words for them! When my husband and I were looking for a venue, we remembered Cafe La Cave and walked in to check it out. Upon meeting Carrie, we were instantly impressed by the venue, the space, planning options, and her willingness to accomodate our needs. Randy was very helpful in coordinating the event and planning every detail perfectly so that my husband and I were able to enjoy the event. His high energy coupled with his amazing attention to detail made our wedding better than anything we could have imagined! I felt like I was living my fairy tale wedding. The staff themselves were absolutely wonderful and excellent ...they were always attentive, waiting on our guests, and attending to everyone's needs. My family and friends said they have never been to a wedding with such great service. In addition to everything, the food was so delicious! Guests had their choice of filet, chicken, or salmon. We heard nothing but compliments throughout the night. Carrie even worked with me since I have multiple food allergies to make sure I had a special meal. My husband and I are very very happy and pleased we had our wedding at Cafe La Cave. Carrie and Randy worked hard to make sure our day was truly special and memorable. They treated us like family and got to know us so that our wedding reception reflected who we are as a couple. They delivered on every promise and went above and beyond!

The art of serving a customer has never been more prevalent than at Café la Cave in Des Plaines, Illinois.

So often, we, as customers or guests, are attended in some type of rotational manner amongst a number of tables assigned to a wait staff. The wines usually arrive within a timely manner, the dinner is served, the coffee is poured, and one leaves with no distinction between one dinner venue to another. For a wedding venue to be distinct, the banquet hall has to be extraordinary. This distinction is found at Café la Cave. Without a doubt, Café la Cave is that extraordinary.

Customer Service
From the moment you walk in the door, you are welcomed as if you are an important VIP to enter that night. You are cordially escorted to your dining area, the chair is pulled out for you, and an introduction to whom is your maître d’ as well as your wait staff and sommelier are accomplished. (Usually, I have to ask for names.)
Your coffee cup never runneth empty, and your wine glass is never unattended. If you leave your seating during your meal, a warming cover is amply placed to preserve your dinner at the intended temperature. The staff that serves you could not be more responsive and caring to your dinner enjoyment. The staff is seasoned and has waited on the likes of celebrities to politicians who know of this hidden jewel. Never do you feel rushed or as if you are waiting. The service is exquisite.

Dining Experience
Aperitifs and drinks are readily available while an array of delectable Hors d’oeuvres are served expeditiously throughout the reception. The sampling of flavorful delights succumbs only to the anticipation of your main entrée which is not only artistic in its presentation but bountiful in flavor as you acquiesce to the subtle spices and light sauces that define each and every bite. Prior to your entree’s arrival, no ordinary salad will do. Café la Cave offers special pasta dishes that establish a new sensation in the revelations of fine dining as well as a cucumber wrapped balsamic salad that is light and flavorful. You are left intrigued with the heavenly feast which awaits as your main course is soon to arrive.

No matter what the entrée may be, I have only known it to be as close to perfection as one can imagine. Adorned with complimenting light sauces, each of two succulent breasts of chicken titillates your senses to the degree that would make any restaurateur beg for the recipe. The filet mignon and steaks make you forget about any of the best steak houses. The Atlantic salmon and the Chilean sea bass are unquestionably fan favorites as you surrender to the salacious pleasures of your dining experience.

As for the consistent slew of drinkers in your party, the bar doesn’t close while dinner is served. The libations and signature drinks pour freely. The bar remains open the entire night through. Your guests will not need to have rows of drinks set at the table in military formation. At ease soldier. Everyone can relax.

Café La Cave is seriously one of the best wedding venues in all of Chicago. My wife and I were completely blown away by the beauty, elegance and service of everything and every person at Café La Cave.

From Day one, this place was unbelievable to work with. Café La Cave told us from the beginning that they would give us a “Chicago Style” wedding reception for half the price. They delivered on that promise! My grandma told me that it was the most elegant wedding she had been to in her life. My aunt told me that it was a nicer wedding than some “hoity-toity” wedding in New York City that she and my uncle went to last year. I have had at least a dozen people tell me that the food was unbelievable and the filet melted in their mouths. Two of the three people that received a vegetarian plate told us that it was the best vegetarian plate of food that they have ever had at a wedding.

We looked at over 20 reception halls in the Chicago area before picking Café La Cave. We would have made a HUGE mistake had we not chosen to go with Café La Cave. We have had so many of our guests compliment this place on the service, quality of the food, elegance of the room and overall fun of the night. The staff at Café La Cave is unbelievable. I have not had better service in my life. They were very professional, very attentive and were so very accommodating.

If you’re looking for an awesome reception venue, you have to look at this place. And, when they say they will give you the best wedding reception, they mean it. And they will deliver on that promise. You will have zero regrets by going with this place. As far as the price goes, they rate very well with many other reception halls in Chicago and are much cheaper than anything that you’ll find in the city. We have been to weddings in the city and they were not nearly as nice and elegant as Café La Cave.

I cannot say enough good things about Cafe La Cave. I had my wedding there in the fall and it was perfect! The planning leading up to the wedding was made simple with the help of Tina. She is very informative and great to work with- she is truly an angel. On the day of our wedding, my husband and I were able to enjoy ourselves because Randy worked out every detail in advance... and handled the last minute issues without getting my husband or me involved. Best of all, the food and service was spectacular. Our guests only had good things to say about our wedding and that in itself was priceless. The Cave costs a little more for a wedding but it is worth every penny... I promise! I cannot express how happy we were and I can honestly say that our wedding would not have been as wonderful as it was if we were not at Cafe La Cave.

Cafe La Cave is one of the best venues to host a wedding reception in the north suburbs. It is very classy restaurant. One of the few venues that is genuinely nice to work with, very accommodating, flexible, professional, unique and most importantly the food and service is great! Randy was our coordinator. He was worth every penny! He made the floor plan, itinerary, he announced our wedding party, and engaged with all our vendors to ensure that everything went smoothly. It sure did! Everyone there at Café La Cave is great to work with. We were able to transform the banquet room into a 1940s soirée with the help of Café La Cave and Yanni Design Studio. We received tons of compliments from our guests and even the staff from the restaurant were in complete awe. Café La Cave is the perfect venue to host your special day!

PHENOMENAL!!! I initially went in to scope out Cafe La Cave as a joke, like "ya rite, I could never afford this place" but it was truly reasonable, and I am not made out of money. I don't know how to begin telling how fabulous Randy, the coordinator, is. I was planning my wedding from 1800 miles away and he made it flawless. The whole crew really made my wedding a masterpiece. It was more accomedating that I could have ever expected. The coordinator really helps you with every single thing, even recommending the greatest vendors. I would marry my husband there every weekend if he would only let me. It was amazing.

My husband insisted to have our reception at cafe le cave, because he knew we couldn't go wrong with the great food they serve. Not only was the food great, but the service was awsome. Randy and his staff do a great job at putting everything together. I felt so at ease knowing that everything was taken care of, that I had such a great time having fun at my wedding. Randy takes such great pride at his work. My husband loves how Randy's voice sounds when he announces the wedding party (makes you get goose pumps). The dinner and dancing is all choreographed nicely so that everyone can enjoy it. The banquet hall has been updated to a tasteful decor. Some of our guests who smoke enjoyed the outdoor bar area. So many people to this day tell me how much fun they had at our wedding and how good the food was. I can't wait to go back again for dinner at the restaurant.

I don't think I could have picked a better place to have my wedding reception. From day one of walking in to check this place out to signing a contract and all the meetings that followed they made planning a wedding as easy as I think it could be. We initially picked this hall because we didn't have 300 people to fill other places that could have potentially had another wedding the same night - that was a big NO for me. Seeing the layout of this place and knowing the ballroom would be all mine made this decision a no brainier.

Cocktail hour was outside on the patio and in the entry foyer area of the ballroom, no one was allowed into the ballroom until it was time to be seated. This made for such a more dramatic entrance for our guests to see the room all put together and ready for the evening. No one could sneak in and peek early. Loved that they do this! Our dance floor was covered in a white vinyl with our initials in a silver metallic, this was just the perfect touch to the decor in the room.
I was told when we signed our contract that the captain would come to the bridal suite with champagne for all the girls and myself - this never happened, but I don't think anyone even knew except me. At this point of the night we were scrambling to do touch ups and get out to cocktail hour for more pictures it was a non issue.
Food- absolutely amazing! You really can't go wrong with the food here. Everything was so delicious. Me and my now husband got pulled away during the pasta dish to take pictures outside and I made sure they brought me a plate of pasta when I got back to my seat because I was NOT about to skip that! Randy is the one to thank for the most amazing evening. Some weddings you go to they do speeches and dances right when the new bride and groom walk in and you don't end up eating until after 10:00 pm, here Randy takes control and the night has such an amazing flow!

Randy you are the GREATEST! Thanks for everything the night went off perfectly thanks to you and your fantastic staff. Guests said it was the best food they ever had at a wedding and the most beautiful wedding they have EVER been too.

The place is not the most modern and chic place but the european romantic decor of the place sold me (and the beautiful staircase for pictures). We worked with Randy, the coordinator. Randy is very nice and knowledgeable. The best is that he knows many different vendors where when we wanted recommendation on getting something we want he is able to either recommend someone or even book it for us, for a good price! That was more than we expected from a venue coordinator. Randy has been doing this for a long time so he is very experienced. However, he likes to do things in a certain way and he will persuade you to follow him. If you are open to it it will work out great but if you have something else in mind, you will need to strategically discuss it with him (which is what we did in our case and it worked out fine!). With that said, the flow of the night went great and Randy had everything to do with it to make it exactly how we wanted it as we needed our night to be fastly paced. He was in particular helpful with rehearsing for our ceremony! He did another rehearsal the day of the wedding (without my request) so everyone involved has all the practice they needed. The flower girls and ring bearer would not have performed perfectly if it hadn't for the rehearsals! The sweet table we ordered from them we SO MUCH more than we expected! There is coordinator fee and captain fee we need to pay. At first we weren't sure why we are paying for it but when we have received such good service the entire night we knew it was worth it. When we are exhausted and tipsy by the end of the night,the captain already have everything loaded onto a huge chart for us to take to our car! THAT definitely was a life saver at that point of the night. Almost forgot, food definitely was better than what is expected from a banquet hall, and the package included BOTH soup and salad (usually just either one). Great quality for the cost.

My wife And I had gotten married in April 2017; done our wedding brunch, reception at Cafe Le cava. And the service and dedication to our needs was excellent. The host took care of us in all aspects. My wife and I we’re very pleased to have this banquet hall as part of our wedding memories. We ar extremely grateful for all that you did to make my wife have a smile from ear to ear. In our books your a 5 star!
