I called about 30 minutes before I arrived to make an appointment. We had been looking other places during the morning and hadn't found the one. They were able to fit me into a slot right when I needed and were so so kind and helpful to both me and the people I brought with me. They were very professional and knowledgable. I would highly recommend their shop to anyone looking for a dress!

I cant say enough how appreciative & relieved I am for this Caela Scott, I worked with Tavia, she was extremely sweet, patient and was very attentive and knew what she was doing. She stood back, let me and my girls do our thing, and if I needed something to add, she was right there on top of it! I have looked around at other places in west MI, and was turned off by the pushiness of some sales reps and once I let them know my budget how immediate there willingness to help went by the waste-side. Not with Tavia, she was absolutely the best, and extremely helpful. I actually chose the dress she gave me to try (her suggestion) and it was the one! I am so grateful for this boutique and their staff. Their prices are amazing and carry exceptional designers to fit with any budget! I do suggest going on a Thursday, as it was not as crazy busy like a Saturday. The second time I was there, I found it and it was totally opposite I was looking at!

I was highly impressed with the service I received. I also thought they had an amazing dress selection. I had visited a couple shops before, but fell in love with CS because they had exactly what I wanted in a dress for great prices. The staff I worked with were very helpful and answered all of questions. I am so glad I said yes to the dress with them!

I really enjoyed my experience with Caela Scott Bridal. This was the first and last bridal shop I went to, to find my wedding dress. I tried on a total of three dresses while I was there and the first one I tried on ended up being the one! The staff was very helpful with picking out dresses to try on based on what I was looking for and it sure didn't take me long to say yes to the dress.

I had a great experience finding my dream dress at Caela Scott. The staff is nice and very helpful, especially Elaine. They have a huge selection of dresses, there are styles for every bride. They also offer a discount on bridesmaids dresses if you purchased your wedding dress from them, which was courteous. I've also gotten several bridesmaids dresses for friends weddings from them. Highly recommended.

Caela Scott was my first experience wedding dress shopping. It was amazing. We ended up working with Elaine, the owner. She was great. She understood my body type better than I did and did everything she could to stay within my budget. She was great too with my mother who wanted to go way over my budget. The consultants there was so friendly and helpful. I wasn't at all pressured to buy a dress immediately. In fact they encouraged me to sleep on it and leave without making a sale. That really impressed me. My dress ended up coming in a month early too which was a bonus. I am big on service for what I pay for and they are amazing. I will be recommending them to anyone who asks!

I popped into Caela Scott with my bridesmaids to shop with them for their dresses. After we picked theirs (Bill Levkoff), I couldn't help but try on the pretty wedding gowns on display at Caela Scott. I found "the one" right away, by Mori Lee. The price was right in my budget range of $1300.

Carrie at Caela Scott made the process very easy for me. My dress came in quicker than expected and my bridesmaids dresses came in on time too. I feel it was a wonderful experience.

FYI - my first dress shopping experience was in Chicago, where I now live. I was disappointed by the lack of service; I felt like I was just another number to them on their huge appointment list for the day. And they didn't care about my budget. This was NOT the case at Caela Scott -- they were so kind and helpful, and they had PLENTY of gorgeous dresses within budget.

I went into Caela Scott last night and I had an amazing time with my mom! Elaine and I had been communicating via email and she was always responding promptly. My mom and I were happy to see that when I got there they had already pulled some that they thought I would like. The staff was also very good and understanding of what I wanted in the dress! Great service. Im from Portage and I am willing to drive for their service!

I found my wedding dress at Caela Scott. I thought I had my perfect dress all picked out when the owner, who was helping me try this dress on one more time showed me one and said, "This one looks good on everyone". I was reluctant to try it on, but my mother insisted I try it. That was it, it was the one. She was so right! I really appreciated her suggestion because if she would have never said anything, I would have never taken it off the rack. Service was very friendly and not pushy. They let me come back several times to make sure it was "the one" and bring family to see it on before the purchase. Great Prices!! Great experience!

This bridal store is a class act! 5 Stars all around from me!

This was one of the first bridal stores I visited for my wedding gown. My mother and I were very pleased with the service, everyone was professional and personal. I felt like they actually cared about me as a person, client and bride.

Seeing as this was one of the first stores I had gone to I left and didn't buy anything. Rachel did write down the three favorite dresses I had and we were on our way.

I had visited another bridal store later that week, Renee Austin in downtown Grand Rapids. I was appalled at the service I had received at Renee Austin. Dishonesty, lies and PRESSURE that I HAD to buy the dress that day. I was being pushed to make such a huge decision. I was angry and devastated. I turned down the dress due to Renee Austin's service there was no way they were getting my money, walked out the door with my mom and sister.

Twenty Minutes later I made a call to Caela Scott even though they were so busy they told me to come on in! They had my favorite dresses waiting in the dressing room from earlier that week. Heck, they even were excited to see me again!

Needless to say, I bought my dress through Caela Scott, because they were personable, caring, helpful and welcoming. I wanted them to have my money, they deserved the sale by the way they had represented this store.

I will always refer every bride to this store the ladies here are a class act!! You wont be disappointed.

Not only were they very flexiable allowing me to stop by the store last minute notice, they also took the time to help me find my dream dress. May daughter and I and her groom's mom came into Caela Scott last night and had the most AMAZING experience. Ashley was very knowledgeable about wedding gowns, and took her cues from the bride to be. She made the appointment flow very smoothly, was kind and never pushy. Rachel provided additional information for us, and I had an opportunity to speak with Carrie today after the appointment. I would highly recommend this intimate, clean, upscale looking bridal store to anyone looking for a very unique personal one of a kind experience.

This is the first place I stopped to look for dresses. I absolutely LOVED it. I worked with Kerri all three times I went in and I felt as though I was getting the 'NY Kleinfeld' experience in my home town! The service was amazing they made me feel like the only bride in the world! I was treated like a friend and not a customer!

Their prices are very comparable to other stores I looked at. We will be going back for bridesmaids dress and tuxes for the guys!

Caela Scott is the BEST! Don't waste your time going to any other dress store! I bought my dress here and I couldn't be happier! The staff is amazing and I never felt pressured to purchase a dress here unlike all of the other stores I went to. They have a nice selection of dresses under $1,000 and the floor models were all in pristine condition, I never felt like I was trying on a dress that someone else already tried on. My experience was wonderful and I would definitely recommend Caela Scott!

I had a great experience at Caela Scott Bridal. I made an appointment after work and had the place all to myself. The owner (Ellen) first found out which dresses I liked to get an idea of my preferences, but also suggested some additional gowns for me to try on based on my figure and what was flattering on me. I ended up with a wedding dress that was not at all what I had in mind going in, but it was just beautiful - not just in a magazine – but on ME. The gowns in this shop were VERY well taken care of, unlike other stores I went to, where the saleswomen practically “man-handled” their dresses, which were often stained or ripped. (very important if you have a short engagement and have to buy “off the rack” like me!) Best of all, the shop was quiet and each bride (and her mom/girls) had her own area to “model” the gowns – plus plenty of mock bouquets, jewelry and veils to try out different looks. These were so pretty, I ended up selecting my actual wedding flowers based on a bouquet in the shop.

What a breath of fresh air! After shopping and shopping for "that perfect dress" finding bad service, no service, and disappointing dresses, I happened upon Caela Scott Bridal. The service made me feel like a bride - they were professional yet personal, accommodating yet helpful. I would recommend Caela Scott Bridal to any bride!!!!

Absolutely LOVED Caela Scott! My mom and I were out shopping for her MOB dress, and stumbled upon Caela Scott. The facility was amazing - clean and nicely laid out, the staff was incredibly helpful, they had a great selection, and everything was fairly priced! They are incredibly good at their jobs - in fact, the dress my mom ended up getting is one she originally didn't want to try on, but the consultant said she should try it anyway -- voila! BEAUTIFUL! Hands-down the BEST dress for my mom! That proved they definitely know what they're doing :) Also, I ended up finding my hair piece there (an item I was incredibly stressed out about). Unfortunately I didn't get my bridal gown there (had purchased it before I heard about Caela Scott), but the first thing I said to my mom after leaving was, "I seriously wish I would've gotten my dress there! Loved it!"

One word- AMAZING!!!! Never in my life have I had such outstanding customer service!!! I was told about Caela Scott Bridal Shop by my soon to be sister-in-law. When we walked in the door we were aproached very quickly by the owner. She was an amazing woman, she knew her dresses well, she knew what would look best on me and even helped with my tag along ( a 6 month old ). We talked about kids, family and life!! She took the time to really get to know me as an individual and truely made me feel that the day was about me, and anything she could do to help she would. This is not my first marriage and my first shopping expierence was a horrible expierence, so I was hesitant to shop in the first place. But Elain was the best and made my day the BEST ONE EVER!!! Words can not say enough about this expierence, but I encourage others to try her out if you are looking for "YOUR DRESS" she knows just what to do!!! I had my dress and veil steamed and cleaned by them at the last minute. They were so helpful and profesional. They even made sure to tell me how to keep it wrinkle free up until the last minute. Great experience.

I enjoyed absolutely everything about my bridal experience with Caela Scott. It was the first, and only, bridal salon I went to try on wedding dresses at. The consultants were very accommodating and overall wonderful! Their selection of budget-friendly wedding gowns was astounding. I also enjoyed coming back to choose dresses for my bridesmaids. The girls' dresses came in quite a bit later than quoted, but everything worked out in the end.

In general we had a good experience with Caela Scott Bridal and Formalwear. We purchased our six bridesmaids' dresses from them. I had also tried on wedding dresses, but didn't find a dress I liked that fit in our budget. They had a good selection of bridesmaids' dresses with the ability to order multiple colors in many of the designs. Once I selected the style and color, we were able to schedule a day for all six of my bridesmaids to come and get fitted for the dress, which went smoothly. The representatives were very friendly and professional during all of our visits. It took a couple of months for the dresses to be delivered, but thankfully we had been on top of things and still received them in plenty of time before the wedding. One problem we ran into was that, though all of my girls got fitted for the dress, three of them received dresses that were far too big to have been their correct size. All three had to have significant alterations made so that the dress would even stay on them. Once they were altered (alterations were done by a third party, not Caela Scott), the dresses were comfortable and looked beautiful. Finally, although the dresses were a bit on the pricier side originally, Caela Scott offered us a discount (since we purchased a large quantity of the same dress) to make the price comparable to that of dresses from other bridal shops, which was very nice. Overall, we were pleased with the service and dresses we received from Caela Scott.

This is a very nice shop. I wasn't exactly excited about finding a wedding dress, but I found one online that I loved and I emailed the shop, and they had it! They were very nice as well :)

I have worked with both Ashley and Kiley as my attendants to help me pick out the perfect wedding dress. I have come back multiple times, tried on many dresses and every time was treated with utmost professionalism and kindness. All of the people in the store are responsive, kind and courteous and definitely know their business. Ashley picked a dress for me that ended up being THE dress. They also have fantastic jewelry and accessories. All in all, they have great prices, quality service and very friendly staff - I would definitely recommend Caela Scott Bridal to any bride-to-be.

I purchased my wedding dress from Caela Scott and LOVED it! My experience during my dress shopping was wonderful. I even had a new consultant and she worked really well with me. I would try on one dress and tell them what I liked and what I didn't like. She would come back with a new dress with things that I liked about it. The process was quick, stress-free and beneficial. I love my dress and I definitely felt like a bride when I wore it!

While shopping for a gown was a good experience, looking for bridesmaids dresses was not. First of all, there is not a very big selection to choose from. Secondly, we felt like we were being rushed out of there for the next appointment. We ended up finding our dresses elsewhere.

Also, I would not recommend shopping for tuxes there. There was something wrong with almost all of the tuxes when the boys tried them on. Most of the boys were from out of town so there was no time to try them on in advance. However, when you take the ring bearer in two weeks before the wedding to get him fitted and find his tux to be HUGE on him the day of the wedding, you are a little bit upset. There is no reason any of the tuxes should have been that big on the boys. My husband also said, the ladies were not very nice when he went in to get fitted and pick up.

I would recommend going to Caela Scott only for a wedding gown. I had a positive experience but it seems the boys did not.

Alterations cost more than the dress

I am writing this review on behalf of the entire bridal party (7 bridesmaids) sense I was the MOH and therefore in charge of making sure everyone dress looked perfect for the big day. While the price of our dresses was fair for the style we ordered, half of us were measured incorrectly and all of those were too big. Because of this we all needed alterations that cost almost, or for some girls more than the dress itself! when we went back to CS to talk to management about this problem, they told us we should have tried our dresses on when we picked them up. We explained that when we went to pickup our dresses the girl who helped us told us just to take them home because they were so busy and all the fitting rooms were full and had other ladies waiting ahead of us. Basically, they blamed the fact that the dresses needed such major alterations on us for 1.) not staying and waiting to try them on.
2.) The manufacturer of our dresses had a reputation for making there dresses too small and therefore made adjustments to their sizing which now resulted in making their dresses too large. So apparently we got stuck in the middle of CS problem with this particular dress designer. Not only was sizing a HUGE problem... ALL of the dresses were tacked incorrectly in the front of the bodice, resulting in horrible looking pleats that were all crooked! (My seamstress had to untack the entire front of my dress to make it lay flat - which only cost me even more money). Overall, our experience here at CS was not a very positive one regarding the dresses themselves, however I will say the staff were friendly and helpful in the beginning when we first went in to look. I would not recommend buying your bridesmaid dresses here if you can find something you like at another place.

I went into Caela Scott Bridal thinking they would take care of everything and make me feel like number 1. Everything went fine when it came to picking out my dress and paying them to order it. After that it was a disaster.

They called and let me know that the dress was ready for pick up at that time i had my fiance come with me to order tuxes for the guys and get measured. Later the guys went in there to get fitted and none of them were on my list they were under a TOTALLY DIFFERENT brides name. Then they billed my credit card without authorization, I left a voicemail saying not to and instead they did. When I called to inquire Elaine was very short and rude with me. NOT HAPPY! And to top it off I had to call her to get the status of my guys' tuxes and Elaine telles me she doesn't need to contact me she will let the guys know.

I am not happy at all with the service I recieved from them, they were rude to me. I will say I LOVE my dress from Mori Lee but with all that hassel I could have gone somewhere else, got the same dress and better service. I will never reccommend them to anyone. My Fiance and I are both not happy with them at all.

I had a scheduled appointment on a Saturday afternoon. Our group walked in 5-10 minutes early to the appointment thinking we would be able to start on time - since they only give hour and a half appointment slots. No big deal. Not one person on the staff even acknowledged us until at least 10 minutes after my appointment time started. I understand that you were busy - but is a "Hello," or "We'll be with you as soon as we can" too much to ask for? I had an appointment, after all. When we started the appointment it went great, but as the next group came in, it all started getting rushed. Rushed to checkout and pay. I ordered my dress and put over 50% down on the dress, and received the amount that would be due when the dress came in. We picked up the dress and paid the balance and took off. When I got home and later went through my two receipts, I noticed that there was a $75 fee added to the balance when we picked up the dress. I called to question the balance and was told that a custom hem was ordered with my dress - why that wasn't on the initial bill, beats me. This fee was never discussed, it was not mentioned that it was an addition to the cost of the dress. When measurements were being taken, I was told that this designer custom sews each hem because of the lace overlay style of this gown. Would you not think it was included in the price and that it just came that way? Apparently it doesn't. The owner got very defensive when I was questioning it, told me she's a firm believer in karma, and asked for the credit card number to reimburse... it's not very professional to wish bad to come back to some one, when the error was on her part. Personally, in my business, if I make an error after some one pays, I have to eat that cost. Especially when the receipt says all sales final, no returns or exchanges. If I can't make changes on my end, I don't believe it's right to add a charge after the fact. The overall experience here has not been pleasant.

I can concur with Jacqueline about rudeness. I was the mother of the groom I went in to help Jacqueline get final fitting for her dress and something I remain very unhappy was after I paid for the rest of Jacqueline's dress. Jacqueline specifically questioned what would the cost for alterations? One of the Caela staff members looked up what it would cost to add Cinderella sleeves to Jacki's wedding dress and told Jacqueline the dress fit her like a glove and although she couldn't find the exact pricing that she estimated it would cost approximately $60.00. Well neither the groom or bridal family is happy that the alterations turned out to be $250.00 that is almost half the price of the dress. So much for fitting like a glove. I had every intentions of taking Jacqueline dress to our alterations shop our family uses if we felt the quote was to high. With the staff member quoting approximately $60.00 we just chose to leave the dress there since they were taking a sash that came with the dress and just making sleeves with it.

When Jacqueline complained to the alterations lady she allowed her leniency on making payment but said if she didn't come back and pay for the rest of the $150.00 she would just take Jacqueline wedding dress back now how do you justify taking a wedding gown away from the bride after both the shop and alterations overly charged or made a huge mistake by misquoting. My goal was to relieve Jacqueline of further payment on this dress and now 2 days before the wedding they drop a bomb of excessive alterations charges. I find the alterations for Caela Scott seriously dishonest $250.00 is not justifiable and Caela Scott that they continue to think lack of professionalism is acceptable it seems they do nothing to make thing right for the customer they treat rudely and overcharge. We will not be using Caela Scott for future weddings even if our kids have to stand in wedding we will refuse to work with them from here on out. We will travel to Grand Rapids if need be.

awful. went into the store after making an appointment, had my wedding party drive from hours away, and we were rushed the entire time, after just 35 min our "turn was up". Most of the party never even had a chance to try on and the bride hadn't found a decent dress yet. The whole experience sucked. It was crowded and busy, they were overbooked, and noone could help us. Then we were pressured tomake our purchases and treated rudely when we werent ready to decide on their overpriced merchandise.

Where to begin...
There was a mix up with the veil and they tried to charge my dad a higher price than they quoted.
One of the bridesmaid dresses was ordered incorrectly (it was a completely different style) and changed her a higher price due to the mix up.
Another bridesmaid dresses came in 2 sizes to small.
All of my dresses were ordered and paid for on time yet they came in A MONTH later than they told they would come in!! Which gave the seamstress LESS THAN TWO WEEKS to alter ALL 7 dresses AND my wedding dress! Even with repeated phone calls questioning the delay, we were never given an explanation of what happened and why they were late.
They sold us a dress for my junior bridesmaid, insisting it could be altered to fit her (she was wearing the dress when they told me it would work). We were later told, when she showed up for alterations, that it COULD NOT BE ALTERED OR RETURNED! I ended up buying a dress somewhere else for her.
When picking out the pieces for the tuxes, it was COMPLETE chaos. When we arrived we were told by a sales associate that she did not have time for us due to an appointment that was scheduled. It was later discovered that I WAS THE APPOINTMENT SCHEDULED by another co-worker. I ended up receiving two tuxes 4 DAYS LATE and got them the day of the rehearsal dinner! NONE OF THE TUXES EVEN FIT AND WERE MISSING PIECES
After the wedding, my mom called Elaine(the owner) to let her know what happened. She continued to give excuses, never apologized, and told my mom to "grow a sack" cussed her out and HUNG UP on her! THEN she texted and called my moms employer calling her the 'B' word and she used the "F" word multiple times. THIS WAS INSANE!! BUYER BEWARE!!!! 0/10!

Man where to even start, I had looked at 5 different stores for a wedding dress before coming to Caela Scott Bridal. I walked in and saw the dress I had been dreaming off right on the mannequin, tried it on, and was in love. The person insisted on trying on other dresses as well just to know for sure this was "the one" ( completely agree, and still felt the same) She did have me trying on dresses which were nothing like I wanted and I did feel like she was just trying to make a sale rather than actually listen to what I was interested in and making rational suggestions. Brought my mother back a different day to confirm that this was the perfect dress for me, which she did. I ordered the dress and when I did the sales person mentioned I was in between two sizes. I said that I wanted to go with the smaller size because I was actively losing weight (*yes I am aware that everyone says they are going to lose weight for their wedding) and she continued to tell me that you always buy a dress bigger and the seamstress would take the dress in. After going back and forth she convinced me to order the size up. Dress comes, they wrote me phone number down wrong, so it sits at the store for 2 weeks until I call asking where my dress is. Their response was that I wasn't returning their phone calls (their mistake) Get my dress and use THEIR seamstress who informs me that "she cannot take my dress in" which is interesting because I specifically was told she would (as I sit in the mirror with my dream dress too big hanging off of me) I think that possibly I am being negative and that maybe the dress is "okay" Get my dress back 4 DAYS before my wedding to cry my eyes out because the dress is suppose to be form fitting and now is ill fitting making it look like I have fat rolls hanging off of my midsection. After I cried enough to make myself physically ill (its 4 DAYS before my wedding) she tries to pleat the front to make it "work". BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
