Catering and Bartending

I cannot begin to say how much I appreciated Sondra and her whole crew at Cabbage Patch! They seriously were so helpful throughs the whole process. They eased me all the from the night at the restaurant when we had our trail to the very end of the evening when they were taking care of everything & even packed us up a special Bride and Groom dinner to take to the hotel! I highly recommend Cabbage Patch for any event, big or small, they are amazing. I also would suggest using them for bartending services, they were very absolutely phenomenal 😊

We used Cabbage Patch as our caterer. The food was amazing and our guests keep going back for seconds. Sondra and her team were great to work with. The food never got cold and they packed up our leftovers for us.

Sondra and her team did a wonderful job. Normally, buffet style wedding food is not something you hear people rave about, but with Cabbage Patch we had so many compliments. They also bartended our wedding and the service was awesome. We chose the pie tarts instead of a wedding cake and they turned out so good. It was worth every penny and we would highly recommend Cabbage Patch!

Cabbage Patch was amazing to work with! They were always quick to respond to emails or calls. They worked with us to give us exactly what we wanted. The day of the wedding went off without a hitch. Our bartender was great (I had never seen a bartender cut someone off so elegantly and without them getting mad! Thank you!), the food was delicious, and all of the staff was so professional. We loved that they also took care of cutting and serving our cake, packed up leftovers, and took care of the dishes (we bought our own, they rinsed and put them in the dishwasher). We had an issue when we tried to add on the bartender, and they took care of it above and beyond our expectations. I can not say enough great things about Cabbage Patch.

Mother-of-the Bride - Wedding was held at Hidden Meadows in November. Beautiful venue! We were so impressed with the tasting at Cabbage Patch. It was a meal in itself, unlike another vendor located nearby when there wasn't enough of hardly anything for people to taste. We worked with Sondra, who is wonderful and also has a lot of really helpful suggestions. We did not have a wedding planner, and between Cabbage Patch & Hidden Meadows & Otto (Ottomatic-our DJ) all working together, we didn't need one! The appetizers and food were all absolutely delicious. People kept commenting on how good the food was. The bartender (supplied by Cabbage Patch) and the staff that were at the wedding were all wonderful and made sure everyone had what they needed - including people with dietary restrictions. No complaints of any kind!

Amazing food, amazing service, reasonably priced, easy to work with, allowed us to have a very personalized menu which guests raved about! Packed us a to go box at the end of the night for a late night snack and sought us out during cocktail hour to allow us to have a snack while we were away signing our certificate and taking photos. Could not have asked for better service or food on our special day!!

We were quickly approaching our wedding and were still without a caterer until our wedding venue recommended Cabbage Patch. They were very responsive and even had a holiday offer which included a free beverage stand and two complimentary appetizers! We requested a custom menu that included traditional Irish and German dishes to go with our winter getaway wedding in a lodge in the Cascade mountains. With our short notice, we did not have time for a taste trial but we were completely blown away! The food was absolutely delicious and all of our guests enjoyed it! And to top it off, the staff were very attentive and friendly. If you are having an event in the Snohomish area, choose Cabbage Patch!

Sondra and the Cabbage Patch team were absolutely amazing to work with. Their food, both the appetizers and the buffet, were phenomenal. Our guests are still complimenting the food weeks later. Sondra and team were very patient with all of my questions and repeated emails. They also provided our bartender, who was lovely to work with. I highly recommend Cabbage Patch to all brides, as well as anyone looking for a great meal in Snohomish!

We booked Cabbage Patch for our wedding and were thrilled with the service. Our venue allowed us to chose from Cabbage Patch and two other vendors, however the other vendors were extremely unresponsive or not flexible to our schedule (we live and work in Seattle and they only offered tastings during the week days before 4pm)! Cabbage Patch allowed us to come in on a Saturday night for a tasting and try everything on the menu. We felt so spoiled! We decided to go with Cabbage Patch based on the delicious food and great service. We loved working with them - extremely responsive, professional, and detailed. We had a buffet dinner with salmon, pecan crusted chicken, vodka sauce pasta, salad, fruit, rolls, etc. It was delicious and everyone complimented our food. I definitely recommend Cabbage Patch.

The Cabbage Patch was great! They catered the menu to food allergies as well as our personal tastes. Everyone loved the food, and they let you keep the leftovers! Overall a great value!

The Cabbage Patch was awesome to use as the caterer for our daughter's wedding!! When we went for the 'tasting', we had a very pleasant experience, & then got a lot of good information from Sondra about what to expect & what would be provided. They offered some free items too that really added to our event. The food was delicious and the service on the wedding day (before also) was awesome. We noticed a big spill on the floor under a child's seat and then noticed one of the caterers cleaning it up without any prompting on our part. They set the tables, served appetizers & the buffet, cut & served the cake, served beverages & food, and cleaned up. Many people commented about how amazing the caterer was!!

Cabbage Patch did such a wonderful job catering our wedding. I wouldn't even call them caterers, they are more like superheroes! It was great having a caterer that works closely with my venue but not exclusively. They knew the layout, and are wedding pros! The champagne toast, the food, the cake cutting, everything was on time and to perfectin! We didn't even have left overs, that is how amazing the food was!!!

Sondy at Cabbage Patch is so wonderful! Everyone commented on how amazing the food was on our wedding day!! Sondy was so great in working with us to select the perfect menu that was just right for us. Her prices are reasonable considering all of the food you get and quality! You are not just another wedding to them, Sondy and her staff truly do everything possible to help make sure things run smoothly with the catering. The staff is so nice and helped out in so many ways to make sure this part of our wedding day was perfect! The food display was perfect, the food was delicious, the prices were reasonable, and Sondy and her staff are so friendly!! If you choose them for your catering, you will not regret it!

Sondy and her team from Cabbage Patch did an outstanding job for our wedding.

When we started looking for a caterer, we knew that we wanted the food presented attractively but that it also needed to taste delicious. We looked at number of high-end caterers, some real fancy-pants groups. Sondy is so down-to-Earth that it is easy to underestimate how wonderful her service and food are.

She sets the tone from the time you go in for a tasting - go hungry! We're not talking dainty little two bite morsels here; she gave us a full size portion of everything we were interested in trying. The tasting is held at the Cabbage Patch restaurant. Sondy would bring a few things to the table, explain what they were, and then leave us to eat. She'd be back with several more items and off she'd go again. In other words she was attentive without hovering so my (now) husband and I could discuss what we like or didn't without being self-conscious.

The prices are reasonable and you absolutely get great value. Sondy is a very generous caterer - we had more than we needed and her team thoughtfully packed the leftovers.

We had our wedding in a our garden using rental tables and linens. There were approximately 55 guests - Sondy's wait staff are truly exceptional. They hustled, they were attentive, and they were unfailingly polite, professional, and just downright nice. You'd want to invite these people over for a barbeque - they're just that cool. We had a bartender from Sondy's as well - these folks all worked incredibly well together and even figured out how to whip up Champagne Bellini's in the frozen beverage machine we had rented for the occasion.

Excellent value (not cheap - you do get what you pay for when it comes to food), wonderful staff, terrific management -- the whole Cabbage Patch team rocked and I'd strongly recommend them for any event.

Cabbage Patch was amazing throughout the entire process. We had tried a few of the higher rated caterers in downtown Seattle and simply were not impressed. Their food was either boring, repetitive, or just nothing special. We contacted CP and they let us bring with us two friends and sat us down for 1.5 hours bringing out dish after dish. After we tried everything we were interested in, they sat down and talked with us about it. There were a few items we knew we didn't want and a few we were wondering if it would be possible to modify and they were always willing to help. We were very confident when leaving they would be our choice.
After food we went looking for dessert. We didn't want a cake so we started looking for alternatives such as brownies but again didn't find what we wanted. We came back to CP and told them what we were thinking and they suggested cobbler. We came in again and they had 3+ flavors of cobbler all of which we liked. We again went with them.
Day of the wedding, they arrived on time and started setting up. No major issues throughout the wedding and the food was great. They handled service, setup, and take down professionally and efficiently. They packed the leftovers and it was in the car when we got to the hotel. We can't say enough good things about CP and strongly recommend them to anyone in the area. Give them a call and ask for Sondra, they are great and the food is worth eating (still eating leftovers).

The complementary tasting was amazing. There were 4 spots so we went with my parents. There was so much food served and all of it was delish! I had a chicken dish that I loved, that wasn't on the menu and they made it for me anyways! Very flexible and great to work with!

The wedding day went very smooth! They set up, passed appetizers, passed the cake and made sure everyone had the drinks that they wanted. We had a buffet style dinner and received so many compliments on how great the food was!

Cabbage Patch was great homestyle food that was definitely a easy crowd pleaser! The staff did a great job keeping things cleaned up and tidy, though sometimes took wine/beer glasses away too quickly when someone turned away for photos. Email correspondence was occasionally confusing but generally prompt and easy to work with. They had no problem when our ceremony time changed and when the guest count was lower than originally estimated. On the day of, staff did a great job setting dinner up, we had a slight hiccup with the dessert table not being ready when it was announced to head over for cake cutting, but otherwise everything went fabulous and everything tasted great! They have worked with our venue (A Chapel on Swans Trail) many times and they emailed each other as needed (with me CC'd) and knew where everything was and how to do set up.

Working with Sondra and her team pre-wedding was great. They were quick to respond and willing to help us figure out the right menu to fit our needs (budget & taste). We did have some issues day of the wedding with the amount of food/cake and specialty meals, this was disappointing BUT I do have to say that when we brought up these problems the CP team went above and beyond to correct them. We understand no one is perfect and bad days happen, we appreciate that they were willing to do what they could to fix it.
