How do you begin to thank the person who allows you to quite literally re live the happiest day of your life as many times as you want. I am so beyond grateful that we chose Chris as our videographer. Not only because of the quality of his work, but because he made our day so seamless and was working so diligently behind the scenes capturing so many precious moments for us that we didn’t even need to think about it or him or give any direction on our wedding day. It started POURING in the middle of our ceremony- we quite literally had to move to a whole other location to say our vows and finish speaking, and within seconds, Chris somehow moved all of his equipment to the second location and had it running before we jumped back in. Multiple cameras and angles. I’m still so shocked. He didn’t skip a beat. I don’t know how he was able to do it but I am so grateful we have every moment from our ceremony.

Chris was absolutely incredible!! The video is so beautiful and something my husband and I will cherish forever!! He listened to what we wanted but also did his thing and took lots of stress off of me by knowing exactly what would look best and be perfect!! We can’t recommend CY enough!!!

Chris! We love you!

I had the honor, privilege, and absolute pleasure of hiring Chris as my wedding videographer at Keswick Vineyards this summer. It was not an easy feat trying to find a videographer in the area who had my vision for what I wanted captured and featured for my wedding day. When I came across Chris’s page and work though, I knew immediately that I had to have him work on our special day. His content alone sold me, but then our interactions leading up to the day and then meeting him in person and having him so effortlessly guide me and our people throughout the day was so easy, laid back, effortless, and fun. Chris is professional, calm, creative and just truly the most all around guy you want on your wedding vendor team. He gave me everything I was looking for and so much more. Our highlight, full film, and teaser made me cry, laugh, and relive the day so vividly over and over again. His creative eye and editing came through in making the best part of our day, which we now get to hold on to and cherish for the rest of our lives. Loved our Video

Chris did an amazing job incorporating certain clips and transitions I wanted in our video! He worked well with our photographer and made sure that he got the shots he needed. I had a certain vision of how I wanted our video to look and he was great at working with me to come up with a plan and answered all of my questions. He also delivered our Instagram teaser SO FAST which was awesome!!

Amazing videographer

Chris is an excellent videographer... he's clearly very talented & his videos are a notch above all the others we looked at. He was also very professional to work with during planning and helped guide us to get the shots he wanted on wedding day. We haven't got our final edit yet but have no doubt it will be amazing. Chris is extremely talented and easy to work with. I wanted my wedding highlight video to be meaningful and naturally capture various elements from my wedding day, but without the cheesiness and forced moments I saw in many other videographers’ work. From start to finish with Chris it has been the easiest, most magical experience!!! He was so accommodating and in the moment with us the day of! I am so thankful for him!!! He actually captured the most incredible shots that could have ever been captured on my wedding day! I cannot even express my love for my video he created for us!!! Too amazing for words!

I don't even know where to start! Chris is the ultimate wedding vendor - exactly who you are looking to hire for your videographer. Not only is he an extremely talented artist, he was kind, fun, and just a joy to be around on our special day.

I couldn't be more thrilled with all of our wedding footage and especially with our highlight video. We've had so many people reach out to tell us how beautiful it was and how emotional it made them. I of course feel the same way! Chris did an amazing job of summarizing our day into a beautiful tribute that we'll cherish forever. He has such a great sense of what special moments to include, and all of the right timing, music, and other shots to make it special.

As I mentioned, Chris was also just a great guy to spend time with. He was fun, calm and collected, and so beyond kind. He helped keep our day running smoothly in so many ways - including jumping into the dance circle himself!

Something I also really appreciated about Chris was how he keeps things light and fun and makes you comfortable being in front of the camera. We never felt forced or awkward and genuinely had a great time shooting the footage with Chris.

He is an exceptional vendor and person and I can't recommend him enough! Thank you, Chris!!!

Could not have had a better experience with Chris. He was punctual, professional, and went above and beyond our expectations. The final product was incredible. The Best Videographer You Will Find

Chris is absolutely amazing at what he does! He is also professional and very easy to communicate with! Our big original wedding had to be rescheduled until next year, 2021, due to the pandemic, but we still had a backyard wedding on our original date June 27, 2020. In addition, we wanted to go out to the mountains for an even more intimate setting a month later to reread our vows and get some mountain scene footage/pictures. Once I told Chris our plans he was all for it and gave us the most incredible video we could’ve asked for. He captured both events perfectly and they flowed together in the video better than we could’ve ever imagined. Chris is simply the best! We’re excited for him to do it again at our renewal next year!

There are absolutely no words to describe how amazing our wedding video is! The BEST Wedding Investment. Period.

If you are on the fence about hiring a videographer, just do it. You will never be sorry about spending that money. And hire Chris to do it. He was, of course, a total pro on the wedding day, blending in and seamlessly collaborating with our photographer. But the real magic lies in his finished product. I am probably biased, but I truly believe our wedding video is the best wedding video I have ever seen. He knew exactly what we wanted him to capture and how we wanted him to edit. His intuition, mastery of craft, and overall artistry is incredible! I cannot recommend Chris highly enough. We will cherish this video forever. Hire him ASAP!

Chris is everything you could look for in a wedding photographer. He was very easy to communicate the entire process. He made us feel very confident leading up to the wedding day.
On the actual wedding he was a pleasure to work with. He was able to capture everything so naturally and most of the time you don’t even realize he’s there!
When we got both our full video and highlight video, we were absolutely blown away! He captured everything so well, his production of the video was so incredible, and his music selection was perfect! It really felt like we were watching a movie that we were the stars in.

100% Hands Down Best Decision I Made on my Wedding Day!

Chris Yeatts with CY Wedding Films filmed my wedding in September of 2019. I had a church ceremony with a reception at a country club in Williamsburg, VA. Hands down - Chris captured every aspect of my wedding better than I could have even imagined. I don't know how he managed to be everywhere at the right time without being intrusive! Chris was the most easy going vendor to work with and was very professional (even when I had him deliver messages to the groom for me before the ceremony!). You can tell from the sample videos that the audio, video quality, and editing skill is unparalleled. Not to mention, Chris was just plain fun to have around on our wedding day! There is some time that you will need to wait between the wedding and receiving your videos, however, I feel that Chris needs that time to really make a quality video! Overall, CY Wedding Films was the best wedding decision I made. I struggled with a fiance that wasn't completely sold on the thought of a videographer and now, my husband can't stop watching our wedding video and highlight. Our highlight video and full length video brought our memories to life and I couldn't be more thankful to CY Wedding Films!

Perfect video of our day!

Chris was easy to work with, professional, and organized. My husband and I never felt overwhelmed by the camera because Chris knew exactly where he needed to be and where to place the cameras at our venues. Our highlight video perfectly captured our personalities and the day. Our video included the audio from speeches, and I'm amazed how he was able to match lines from those speeches with video of the words being said.! As the bride, I also really enjoyed watching the video of our parents and wedding party walk down the aisle! It's so fun to watch these moments for the first time!

We were unsure about hiring a videographer, but you will not regret hiring Chris. My husband and I are looking forward to having this video and reliving our day for years to come and we are so thankful that we hired Chris!

Amazing!!!

My wife, Natalie, and I were clients of Chris’ for our wedding back in June. It took us weeks to find a videographer that we wanted to hire for the wedding, but once we found his page, and watched some of his previous weddings, we knew we wanted to hire him. Planning prior to the event was seamless with Chris and super easy. We went with the Experience Package and added an Additional Videographer as well. One thing that I thought was really cool was that he uses a drone and captures video from above the venue. Working with Chris on the day of the wedding was very easy; Chris and his second videographer came in with a plan and they did incredible! He overcame some obstacles from our venue, but worked through them without it affecting any of the work. For example, there was an airport in the area and they told him that he wasn’t able to use the drone, yet Chris did what he had to do and coordinated with who he had to coordinate with in order to get the clearance to fly the drone. When we got our video, we were absolutely BLOWN AWAY! And then a few days after that we got our highlight video, and honestly, we were not prepared for how amazing it would turn out. Everyone that has seen it has said it looks like a preview for a movie and how amazing it is! We would recommend Chris to anybody looking to get a beautiful day captured on video to be able to re-live the day forever. If I could give Chris a 12/10, I would. He did an incredible job and we feel so happy and blessed to have found him.

You gotta go with Chris

Chris was an absolutely incredible videographer. From moment one of discussing his services, he was professional, understanding, and passionate about making sure it was exactly what we hoped it would be. He constantly assured me that he would be there for all the hype moments, the intimate ones, the funny ones, etc. I kept telling him I believed him, but I didn't realize how truly awesome of a job he would eventually do. When it came to the wedding day he was professional, on time, cooperative, and there for every moment exactly like he said he would be. Just a month after our wedding he sent us a full hour long video of our big day, along with an incredible highlight video that was nothing but fire. He captured bits and pieces of that day that I totally would not have remembered if he hadn't have been there. In the highlight video he made sure to incorporate my wife's nickname "B" by SLOW MO ZOOMING in on a freakin bee!! It's the coolest shot ever you have to see it. The Best Investment We Made for Our Wedding!

Hiring Chris was definitely the best investment we made in our wedding. I looked at other videographers but I didn't just want footage of our wedding, I wanted something unique and thoughtful and I really like Chris's style so I told him that he could have total artisitic control over the editing and the result was more amazing than I could have imagined!

Chris completely captured the love and joy from our wedding day and the artistic elements that he incorporated gave us the modern style that we were looking for. I've probably watched it 100 times by now and I'm so glad that I will have it to watch on our anniversary and share with our children.

After our wedding, I just happened to see some videos of other friends and families who had been married recently on Facebook. While their wedding videos were lovely, I was definitely reassured that we had made the right decision in choosing Chris!!

Simply amazing!

Wedding videography was one of the most important things to us on our wedding day, and I was looking for a very specific type of video. I researched for MONTHS and watched hundreds of wedding videos, when I came across CY wedding films, I was blown away. His videos encompassed all the elements I was looking for, and every time I'd look at another video, I'd always compare it to CY.

From the beginning, Chris was professional, easy to work with, and extremely responsive with all correspondence. On our wedding day, Chris even brought a second shooter with him, who was just as professional! We had no idea they were even filming us half the time, that's how good they are. After the wedding, our video turn around time was SO QUICK. We got the package with the full video and highlight, the full video came first and we are SO glad we decided to go with that package. It was so good to see all the important parts of our day in full to re-live (cue the tears!). When we received the highlight... O M G. I might be biased, but pretty sure it's the best wedding video I have ever seen. Bottom line, Chris is amazing, if you are thinking about hiring him, just do it! You absolutely will not regret it!

Richmond's Best Videographer

I have seen dozens of wedding highlight videos and Chris' are by far the BEST. There was no doubt in my mind I was going to use him after seeing what he did for my sister's wedding. I enjoyed spending the best day of my life with him. He responds quick to e-mails and he was always so friendly. He ran all around town to capture all of the important moments throughout the day. If you spend money on anything during your wedding day - spend it on the pictures and video. After your day is over, its all you have!

Amazing video!

From the beginning, Chris was very easy to work with and communicative. On the day of our wedding, he captured all of the details we wanted in a non-obtrusive way. We barely realized he was there! Although there was a slight delay in receiving our video, Chris reached out to communicate that he was running behind, and let us know when we could expect the video to be ready. When he finally sent it... we were both so, incredibly thrilled with it. Both the uncut footage and the video clip were the perfect representation of our day, and beautifully edited. I’ve had several friends reach out telling me they had changed their mind about having a videographer, and asking for Chris’s contact. Booking Chris was one of the best decisions we made, and we will treasure the footage forever.

Exactly What We Wanted!

As a wedding planner myself, I watch A LOT of wedding videos and was really picky about a videographer. Chris exceeded my wildest dreams! I am so happy that we have two beautiful videos that perfectly capture all the beauty of our wedding day to relive for years to come. I just want to keep watching them over and over again! So many of my friends have asked me, "Did you feel like you had a video camera in your face the whole time?" the answer is absolutely no! Chris did a spectacular job of seeming like he was right in the action in our video but being very unobtrusive on our wedding day. I cannot say enough good things! Thank you Chris!!!

Perfectly captured the day!

Chris was a recommendation from my wedding planner, and you can see why from his finished products. The wedding video was in my mom’s words “like watching a movie”, it captured the poignant, emotional moments and the happy joyous ones as well from the perfect angle. Both the main video and highlight video were perfectly cut and edited without any input from either my husband or I. Additionally, Chris produces his quality work in such a short turnaround.

Chris and his staff were absolutely terrific! He has a great artistic vision for making films. Very professional and had fun shots and creative ideas for capturing our wedding day. Chris showed up well in advance to get everything set up and I imagine to capture the amazing aerial footage he got from his drone. Was willing to allow us to bounce ideas off of him but I admit it was uneceasary. He truly has an artistic touch and I believe he has an idea of what the final product will look like before he starts. My wife and I also laugh about how stealthy he was throughout the night—He captured some of the most memorable moments without anyone knowing he was there. I now have a priceless keepsake I can show my grandkids and if anyone’s on the fence, hire him. You will not be displeased! Thank you so much again Chris! You are a rare talent and I hope others are lucky enough to have you capture their big day so they can look back and relive the most amazing experience, that is over in the blink of an eye. We could not say enough wonderful things about Chris! We are so happy we chose C.Y. Wedding Films (suggested to us by our wonderful planner Christine, at WGL Events) for our big day, it was worth every penny and then some. Chris was attentive, professional and his work turned out absolutely beautiful. We were lucky enough to have the most perfect wedding day. It really could not have been more stunning, weather and all. And now we have it archived, forever. Brandon and I were very nervous that having videography and photography would feel overwhelming; however, we honestly hardly remember ever seeing Chris the entire evening, which is mind blowing, considering all of the wonderful shots he was able to get. We know Chris put in many hours of work, not only on our big day, but afterwards, in editing; and it shows. Our package included not only a highlight, but a full, edited video, beyond the raw footage. And it truly is stunning. A perfect representation of us and our day. The music (which we left entirely up to Chris), shots and overall personality of the video, could not have been more true to who we are. We would recommend Chris to anyone looking for a videographer for their big day. In fact, if you aren't looking for one, hire Chris anyway. You certainly won't regret it.

When my husband and I got engaged, the first thing we knew we wanted was a videographer for our wedding. I'm pretty sure, in fact, that Chris was the first vendor we booked even before we set a date and venue! These masterpieces (highlight and full-length videos) are incredible. His artistic skill, thoughtfulness, and love for what he does shines in each video. If you're able, I recommend without a hesitation using Chris to capture your day. A lot happens on your wedding day, most of which is a blur, so to be able to relive all the special moments is a gift that you should give yourselves and your family. Chris is THE best and will make you feel like you're watching a movie trailer about the best day of your lives!

My husband and I got married almost two months ago - and we chose Chris Yeatts to video our wedding day for us and we are still pleased with our decision. On the day of our wedding - he was on-time, professional and focused on capturing the special moments that were happening on that great day. He was also unobtrusive most of the time - we forgot he was even there.
The thing with Chris is - the work he does really speaks for itself. When we received our wedding highlight video (essentially a trailer to the 1 hour+ wedding video) - I loved how he was able to capture the highlights of our day in 3 1/2 minutes without sacrificing the multiple emotions we all were feeling. It was fantastic quality: the clarity of the video was spot on - the editing and cutting of footage is how I would like to have seen it done - truly just no complaints. I would easily recommend Chris to any bride to be looking for a quality videographer who will "walk the walk".

After watching one of Chris's highlight videos that he made for a friend's wedding we were pretty much sold right away, and when we received our own video we weren't disappointed. During the wedding he managed to pretty much be a ninja with his setup. There were lots of shots of the ceremony and reception from angles where we didn't even know that he'd been standing or placed a camera. Once we had our videos we were absolutely thrilled with how all his efforts to record the night turned out. Chris picked the perfect song for the well-edited highlight video, and every so often we watch it when we need an extra boost of happiness. The full wedding video is similarly wonderful, managing to capture all the major parts of the night and lots of little moments that we'd missed at the time. Thanks Chris!

Chris Yeatts is an artist. He doesn't just film your day, he tells your story. We knew after watching a few of his videos that we HAD to book C.Y. Wedding Films. He was one of the first vendor we booked as soon as we confirmed our date.

Chris was simply amazing to work with. He was very responsive and easy to work with. He made everything look so easy and made us feel comfortable during the shooting. He did a great job of coordinating with our photographer and wedding coordinator so everything worked out great.

Both our highlight and long videos were amazing! The quality of the sound and videos were excellent. He captured everything that we wanted to be a part of the wedding day. We contemplated if we wanted and could afford videography for our wedding. We are so happy that we chose to do it and that C.Y. Wedding Films was available! Our daughter's wedding was one of the happiest days of my life! Thanks to C.Y. Wedding Films we will get to relive the joy of that special day for many, many years to come! Chris was awesome! He explained everything to me over the phone ahead of time so I knew what to expect, and the execution of his services was perfect! He blended so quietly into the background during the ceremony and reception that we forgot he was even there! The quality of both the highlight and full-length video and editing was amazing...the montages he created and put to music went so well together, and he did a great job of making sure all the important people were featured throughout the video. My husband and I haven't stopped raving about our video since we first saw it. The highlight video still makes us cry every time we watch it. Words cannot even describe how grateful we are for Chris! When we first started looking for a videographer, I knew he was the one when I cried watching all of his sample videos (& I am typically emotionless). From day one, he was super responsive to email and always so easy to work with. Prior to the wedding, he went over what was important to us for our video, timeline, the layout of everything, etc. He was so detailed in the planning process. The day of the wedding, he worked really well with all of our vendors and you hardly knew he was even there, yet somehow he captured all of our special moments. Our highlight video is SUCH a reflection of us. I don’t think he could’ve captured our day more perfectly. It’s just SO perfect! It makes me cry everytime I watch it and I’ve probably watched it a hundred times. Our family and friends agree too! Everyone keeps telling us how amazing of a job Chris did with our video. If you are looking for a videographer, Chris will go above and beyond your expectations. You will not be disappointed. During the planning process, my husband thought we didn’t need a videographer. We weren't sure how much we needed a videographer but the easy, informative, professional, flexible and non pushy dialogue with Chris prior to our wedding day convinced us it was a good idea. This 'good idea' turned into the absolute, hands-down BEST decision regarding our wedding that we could have imagined. I came across one of Chris' videos when a friend of my Mom's got married. I immediately said I wanted him to be my videographer one day when I got married! He was the first and only person I contacted because I knew exactly what I wanted. All of his videos are wonderful and mine was nothing less. Chris was absolutely amazing as our videographer! He was incredibly responsive throughout the entire planning process and was very patient with all of our requests and questions. (And we were talking with Chris for at least a year- he really hung in there!)

Can't recommend him enough! He showed up on the wedding day and immediately coordinated with our photographers to make sure they could all get the shots they wanted. He worked incredibly well with our other vendors in general, and he was very easy-going and calm with us as well! (Always a bonus when everything around you is in a slight state of chaos ; )

While our package was a middle-of-the-road one, he gave us top-notch quality video footage and captured all of our important moments. He also blended into the crowd very well throughout the day, so we never felt like a camera was on us. He even surprised us and got some drone shots of the property into the video too!

In sum, place your faith in Chris and don't look back : ) It was so nice to have someone we could trust with these important moments, and he completely wowed us! Thank you so very much Chris!!

Chris was absolutely AMAZING! We booked him about 1.5 months before our wedding and he jumped right into planning with me. In fact, he asked me questions that I didn't even realize I needed to know which was so helpful. His price was amazing for the package and professionalism that he provided. He recruited a second photographer for the day of which was fantastic to get shots of the boys (and he tied all the groomsmen's bow ties). When Chris arrived on wedding day, he made us all feel very relaxed and was just casually videotaping. He was so fun at the wedding and extremely approachable. Throughout the entire experience, Chris has been so responsive to every email which anyone who is planning a wedding/event can appreciate. We weren't planning on doing video for our wedding, but I had heard repeatedly from other folks that they regretted not having it at their own weddings. It was easy to choose C.Y. Wedding films because Chris clearly outlines the packages, was prompt with questions, and had some impressive examples of his work.

Chris did a fantastic job capturing every moment of our special day. He was able to capture not only the major events of the day, but also the smaller details that I would not have even considered as an important part of the video. Chris does such a good job of capturing the emotions that we were feeling that day. Watching the videos that Chris edited for us make us feel like we are back in those moments all over again. We are so happy with our highlight video and full wedding video. We chose Chris when I saw his highlight video of another couple I knew who happened to be a wedding event coordinator. I knew if she trusted him I knew he must be good- and we were right! CY Wedding Films has the most competitive pricing for videography options with all of the quality of the others I've seen. The package we chose had a videographer with us from the beginning (bridal suite then grooms suite, during ceremony, pictures, cocktail hour and almost complete reception- I say almost because ours was long at 6 hours and we didn't do a grand exit after). Chris is professional and you hardly even know he's around. If you're worried another person in addition to photographers will be a distraction- don't be! Our video is one of our best memories to share and we're so glad we decided to have CY Wedding Films there to capture it!

Chris is absolutely amazing! My Husband and I were not sure if we wanted to hire someone to shoot video footage for us, as we already had a photographer. I can honestly say that if I had to choose between the two, I would prefer having the videography. Chris is such a talent, and very professional and fun to work with. If I could recommend anything to anyone planning their wedding, it's get a videographer and have that videographer be Chris! Our videos (both the highlight and full-length) turned out stunning and have evoked so many tears from family and friends (in the best way)! I'm overwhelmed with gratitude to Chris for *perfectly* capturing our wedding day. He was recommended to me by the woman who sold me my wedding dress and she set my expectations HIGH. He exceeded them all. I'm in love with the highlight video he did for us-everyone is! Everyone I show it to is amazed at how he summed up the evening so beautifully. He was also so sneaky about it! I caught a few glimpses of him when he first arrived at the venue and when we did formal shots but other than that he blended in so well with the guests and somehow got all of the shots we wanted and all of the shots we didn't even know we wanted. I can't say enough great things about him. On the business end, he was super responsive and easy to reach. He's also just really kind. With the hustle and bustle of wedding planning, he was one of the vendors I never minded shooting an e-mail to or chatting with on the phone. Book CY Wedding Films for your wedding. Chris is an extremely talented videographer, and he did an excellent job capturing all of the moments at my wedding - big and small! My advice: get the highlight video as part of your package. Chris does an amazing job editing all of the footage down into a short video to share with friends and family. I'd highly recommend him!

Originally, my husband and I did not plan on having a videographer at our wedding. But after working with Chris, I am so glad we made this investment. Simply put, Chris is a wizard behind the camera. Seriously! My husband and I recently received our wedding film, and we were floored by all of the special moments he was able to capture, while remaining largely inconspicuous throughout the evening. It's hard to believe that one person was able to be in all of the right places at all of the right times, but that's what makes Chris so special. All I can say is AMAZING!! From the very beginning of the process, Chris was very helpful, patient, and responsive which made my choice to hire him that much easier. Chris' professionalism and personality definitely made working with him on the day of the wedding seamless. To be one man managing multiple cameras, he knew the right places to be and was able to capture every special moment during our wedding! When we received our highlight film two weeks after the wedding (as promised) and the full video shortly after, it brought my husband and I to tears every time we watched it! Our family and friends had the same reaction and when shared with their friends, they cried just the same as if they personally knew my husband and me (LOL). This simple response goes to show how Chris' talent allows him to capture the love of our wedding day and compile the experience into 4 minutes of magic!

As for budget, my husband was on the fence about hiring a videographer because he felt it was an unnecessary expense (which seems to be the trend among the guys!) and after we watched the full video last night, he could have pinched himself at the thought of not being able to experience those wonderful moments on video! It was a full hour and 10 minutes of tears of happiness and joy that just doesn't compare to pictures. Chris allows you to customize your package to fit whatever budget you are working with without sacrificing quality of service, which is a major PLUS.

I will never hesitate to recommend C.Y. Wedding Films and we are BEYOND thankful! Chris has given us a gift to be able to remember our wedding day for a lifetime and beyond. His quality of video and meticulous editing skills undoubtedly separate him from other works I have seen. Chris was very professional. He understood exactly what we wanted and did an amazing job shooting and editing the video. He blended in the scenery and still managed to get all the important shots! Despite our super tight budget and a fiancé who believed videography was a waste of money that no one watches, we managed to get Chris to capture our wedding day in an absolutely beautiful, tear-jerking highlight that made my now husband eat his words! I am SO glad we were able to have him there in the end. My mother-in-law was so thankful that our video captured the day in a way that our (gorgeous) photos just couldn't. Chris was extremely timely and responsive via e-mail correspondence and he was very attentive to our interests. He arrived not only on time, but early, on the wedding day - ensuring that he didn't miss a moment of opportunity to shoot our special moments. He blended into the background seamlessly throughout the day and I hardly even noticed he was there, so when I saw the highlight, I was amazed at the detail in not only the moments he recorded, but how beautifully and purposefully it was edited. I have seen a lot of these highlight videos out there, and you can tell that there is an elevated creativity and professionalism behind Chris' editing and music/sound that makes a huge difference in the quality of the overall experience. His turnaround time was fast (about 10 days), which is extra impressive when you think about the fact that he was there shooting for the entire day/night and having to edit that down to about 4 amazing minutes. If you're considering videography but thinking of it as a luxury like we originally did, talk to Chris and view some of his work online - you will NOT be disappointed!

Chris was really great. Professional but laid back and easy to work with. He literally weathered a major storm (tornado warnings and all) to get to and film our wedding. Everyone loved the highlights video he edited for us, and we both still tear up every time we watch it. Chris' gear allowed for multiple camera angles and great sound quality- watching the video you would never know that it was just 1 person filming. Overall, would highly recommend.

I first found CY Wedding films on wedding wire, and called to talk with Chris about his service. I was impressed with his professionalism and the reasonable pricing of his numerous package deals as we further discussed the possibility of having him film my sister's upcoming wedding. Per my request, Chris sent me a variety of sample videos to preview and he was always available to answer any questions I had throughout the process of choosing a company to work with. Upon choosing to hire Chris, I was even more impressed with his desire to meet with my sister and her groom to get to know them personally and to further detail his plan for filming their day. He truly went the extra mile to ensure that the film would be as personalized as possible so that the product would reflect who they were as a couple. Chris arrived early on the day of the wedding, (the venue was 2 hours away and in the middle of nowhere!) he was friendly to all of our guests, and he produced one of the most special videos I have ever seen to capture my sister's wedding. The quality of his work is fantastic (just like all of the other sample videos he sent me were, prior to hiring him) and his turn around time was quick. I would recommend his service to anyone looking to create a lifelong memory of an event you feel is worthy of capturing. If you are on the fence or at a loss for who to hire to film your event, look no further. THIS is the company to choose! You won't be disappointed.

My husband and I were left speechless after viewing our wedding highlight and full video today after returning home from our honeymoon. Chris did a superb job capturing every single detail of our special day while somehow remaining out of view; we hardly knew he was there! (We can't quite figure out how he did that...amazing!)

Using his crisp, expert editing skills, Chris created a timeless story of our beautiful wedding day that we'll enjoy for years to come! Perfect selection of music, gorgeous, sweeping shots of the venue tied it all together. Every expectation was exceeded!

Chris was a joy with work with throughout our wedding planning experience. He was patient, flexible and thorough. As a wedding planner, I see clients skip out on video ALL the time. I'm so happy I found Chris and I will freely admit that I've watched my wedding video twice a day since we got married. Chris was professional, personable and captured every moment I wanted. The day was such a blur and it's amazing to be able to rewatch the look on my husbands face at our first look, my parents as they walked me down the aisle, hear parts of our vows again and re-live my dad's tear-jerker speech. CY Wedding Films did an unbelievably great job filming our wedding. Not only is Chris a wonderful person to work with, but he has a way of capturing moments that happen naturally and you won’t even notice he’s there. I was pleasantly surprised at the number of special moments he captured on our wedding day and so grateful we have the beautiful memories to replay over and over (and we have, we can’t stop watching it).

After seeing some previous CY Wedding Films I knew I could trust Chris to “do his thing” and the outcome would be amazing. I barely gave any direction as to what I wanted and I’m so glad I didn’t. I would have never thought of the amazing small details that Chris captured even down to the song choices, they were absolutely perfect.

Chris is so talented and you can tell he is passionate about what he does. I was shocked we had our video as soon as we got back from our honeymoon and couldn’t believe he had put together such an amazing video in such a short time. Chris was highly recommended to us from a fellow employee. I am so happy with my decision to go with Chris! His prices were great! We were worried about having enough money in the budget to cover the cost for a videographer but we were amazed at how great the price was for the package that we wanted! Chris was extremely friendly,down to earth, and very professional. He met with us beforehand so that we could give him are expectations and let me tell you, he gave us exactly what we wanted. He was there to capture our wonderful day without being too invasive or pushy. Also, it took only a matter of a few weeks to get our video! Felt like we had just returned from our honeymoon when we got the video! I couldn't help but burst into tears when I played the video for the first time (and wanted to watch it over and over after that)! He captured every beautiful moment of our special day. I am so glad that I can look back on this for years to come! If you ever are debating whether or not to get a videographer for your wedding, let me tell you, it is SO worth it (and choose Chris!) :)

I came across CY Wedding Films as a recommendation from my photographers. Chris worked with my budget and what I wanted to form a package that was best for my groom and me. He was professional but did a great job of going unnoticed to be able to get the great shots without anyone being aware. His work was amazing, and I received a highlight video and full video a little less than 2 weeks after the wedding. The highlight video was exactly what I wanted. It brought me and multiple friends and family members to tears. It combined parts of speeches and clips all set to a love song. Our wedding video was perfect as well, and the length is manageable (1 hour 10 min) so I'll be able to watch it down the road whenever I want. I am so pleased with the results and I am happy I decided to hire not only a videographer, but CY Wedding Films.

Chris was amazing. We never noticed him at the event yet he had amazing video. He takes the time to learn what you want in your video. I recommend thinking about what you would like in your video and convey this information to Chris. We had not clue what we wanted so offered very little in direction. In hind sight, we would have loved to shorten dances in seen more of the reception but overall it was an amazing video. We received Chris as a wedding gift. It was such a joy to be able to relive the ceremony again.
