Chris was truly one of the highlights of our entire wedding day! From the very beginning, he was so easy to work with and made us feel completely taken care of. He kept everything on track, read the room perfectly, and honestly just made the whole day feel seamless!
The music was amazing! We’ve had SO many people reach out saying how much they loved it and how sore they were from dancing all night. He kept the energy up in the best way and made sure every moment felt fun and intentional.

Best DJ Experience
We are so glad that we had Chris as our wedding DJ! He was incredibly helpful during the planning process and gave us several key insights that helped make our reception to flow well from start to finish. We had hoped to have a lively dance floor for the whole night, but it turned out even better than we had anticipated! Not just your DJ…
Chris and his crew do whatever it takes to make sure your wedding carries on seamlessly! I remember waiting to walk down the isle and Chris came to greet and wish me luck but I was freaking out that some of my guests attending my outdoor wedding in the summer were standing. He knew I was not okay with this so he and his team made sure to let the venue know we needed to seat more chairs ASAP and it was all hands on deck. This meant so much to me. Also, after my wedding I had people telling me for months that my wedding was a great PARTY! My guests loved getting to know my groom and I on a more personal level. Lastly, due to covid some of his supplies he knew was running behind. He made sure he could get extra stock a city over just in time to make sure my first dance I envisioned was a success.

An experience of a lifetime
From the very 1st meeting Chris felt like family... he made my wife and I feel very safe and cared for... he was well prepared and had a plan ready... he carefully explained all the details and reasoning involved with his plan... the more he talked with us the more I believed that he wanted us to have the best night of our life... he gave us a few very simple task and even when we were late on our end he was still extremely professional and accommodating... he even made adjustments on my behalf the day of the wedding... he also worked exceptionally well with our other vendors... he took our wedding to another level with crafting our love story to read to our guest as well as fireworks and a smoke cloud for our 1st dance... he also provided a photo booth for our guests which the loved and provided us with an album before the night was over... last but not least he gifted my wife and I each with our own gifts from he and His team... they overall were exceptional in performance... efficient in preproduction and setup and extremely professional and courteous to everyone at our wedding... he is the absolute best I could’ve hoped for... he will forever be family to us!!!!

The best DJ production I have ever experienced!
We hired Chris Dedman Productions to DJ our wedding in November of 2020, and to say they did a great job would be an understatement. From start to finish, they went above and beyond to make sure our reception was full of laughter, dancing, and happy tears. Not only did he DJ the dancing portion of the reception, that is just the tip of the ice burg. He first introduced the wedding party by roasting each person in the wedding party, which was hilarious! He then coordinated the dinner by announcing which tables could go get dinner from the buffet, and he also helped coordinate and organize all the speeches/toasts that were given at the reception. Then, he managed to tell our love story to the whole reception which was really something special my wife and I will never forget, and this is what puts him far above his competition in my opinion. The music selection on the dance floor was great, and Chris's assistant checked on my wife and I multiple times on the dance floor to see if we needed anything which was very nice! At the end of the reception, he gave us one last dance to thank everyone which was another memory we will never forget. I have heard from multiple people who came to the reception that it was one of the most fun receptions they had ever been too, and I credit that to Chris Dedman Productions. Anytime in the future when I know someone getting married, Chris Dedman Productions will be the first and only name I give them to be in charge of music at their wedding. No other DJ comes close to what they provide, and it is nothing but an absolute party when you have him as a DJ!

I tasked CD Productions with coordinating and DJing my wedding reception and boy did they deliver! Not only did they outdo themselves on the music, having to find a way to transition my desired Studio 54 themed reception into a Detroit-style house music rave party towards the end of the night, but they also coordinated the events of the evening so perfectly I don’t know how anyone could have made the reception go any more smoothly. Chris and his partner on the turntables made sure this reception was exactly as I had dreamed it to be and I couldn’t be any happier with how the day went! Thank you so much CD Productions!!! (FYI I highly recommend the indoor fireworks...TOTALLY worth it!)

Chris is hands down the best DJ I have ever been around! Not only was he super professional with communicating prior to our wedding but he was a class act the day of as well. We had a huge wedding and Chris still managed to captivate the room throughout our entire reception. Chris coordinated the reception announcing the wedding party arrival, telling guests when to eat, telling my husband and I how/when to do our cake cutting, etc. Then when it came time for dancing he had the BEST music, like I said we had a huge wedding and Chris kept the dance floor packed all night, there wasn’t a single awkward moment. I got married almost 3 months ago and I still have people telling me how amazing of a DJ we had and how much fun they had thanks to him. I can not recommend Chris enough!

Top quality DJ, worth every penny!
Chris Dedman did a superb job as the DJ for my daughter's wedding reception at The Galerie in Versailles, KY. He gave us advice about the optimal flow of events and the room set up, and he was spot on. It's really important to be able to trust your wedding vendors: trust that they know what they are talking about, trust that they will show up on time and prepared, trust that they will deliver what they promised and hopefully even exceed your expectations. Chris did all of these things for us. We initially were just going to use his company for DJ services, but we are so glad we also had him provide a really fun staffed photo booth (we got to take home that night a hysterical photo album that guests signed--love this memento! Plus the staff at the booth were really nice and professional), projected monogram on the wall that personalized the reception space, beautiful up lighting that transformed the space into an exciting place to dance and have fun, and for the first dance, dancing on a cloud and indoor fireworks--definite WOW moments for the bridal couple and all of us. Our guests raved about all of these things and the word we keep hearing is "magical." All these extras made the reception incredibly memorable, fun, and exciting.
If you have to skimp somewhere, don't skimp on your DJ. Chris showed great skill in picking the right songs for keeping the fun going and people dancing. If the crowd didn't respond to a particular song, he seamlessly and quickly blended in a new song. This takes talent and experience as well as good equipment.

I have nothing but great things to say about Chris. It's hard searching for a DJ because you don't really have a portfolio to review of their work. I cannot express enough how happy Derek and I were with Chris Dedman and his team DJ'ing at my wedding! I have known Chris for a long time and I always knew I would have him DJ at my wedding, I even changed my wedding date to make sure of it. He made the VIBE at my wedding! I believe there are 2 maybe 3 important things to have on your wedding day, #1 being GREAT MUSIC which Chris provided. He is very responsive during the process and understands your personality in order to match it to your music liking. Chris even got all my vendors together in order to make sure everyone was on the right page with how things were supposed to go during the whole ceremony/reception, so in other words he pretty much helped coordinate as well. He was always making sure I was OK and if I needed a drink or anything he was right there with it as well as having complete control of the music. It has been a little over 2 months since our wedding and people are still talking about how much fun they had dancing the night away! I couldn't have done it without Chris and I highly recommend him and his team to anyone looking for a DJ with great music taste and wonderful person in general!

Amazing Experience!
Chris and his team went above and beyond to ensure our wedding day was beyond perfect! The music selection was amazing and his personality is second to none! So many of our guests bragged on Chris and his team! The special additions, such as "dancing on a cloud" and our monogram on the wall made the wedding even more special! I recommend him to anyone and we will be using him for any events we need a DJ for in the future!

We can't speak highly enough of Chris. We had some unexpected high winds the day of our wedding (outdoors under a tent), and Chris went above and beyond coordinating generators behind the scenes, watching out for the safety of the tent and guests, keeping the music going (which was awesome), and keeping guests moving smoothly through the buffet lines at dinner service. On top of it all, as busy as he was, he kept checking in on us and asking us how we were doing and offering to refill our drinks. It was a chaotic night, and he deserves a huge part of the credit for the fact that everything went as smoothly as it did and that everyone had a fantastic time. Highly, highly recommend!

To go about my timeline at the reception. He said his goal was that we wouldn’t have to worry about a thing at the reception and he was true to His word. He also was flexible when things didn’t go as planned or when he realized I forgot to state who was doing speeches. Everyone at my reception had an amazing time and mentioned the DJ was great. The music and dancing was so much fun. He played songs we picked as well as artists we said we liked. I was very thankful to have someone guide my event especially since I planned my own wedding. Chris was incredibly easy to work with and extremely personable. He even came to make sure I was okay before the ceremony began and to make sure I didn’t need anything. He was probably thrown Way off guard when we ended up being 45 mins ahead of schedule but never skipped a beat with sudden changes like doing the dances first etc etc. overall wonderful experience. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting someone that goes above and beyond with even the smallest of touches to make your day even that much more special.

Chris and his son did an outstanding job, from making sure the preacher was going to be able to be heard to having trucks moved so they would not be in the photos! We were very happy to have chosen Chris and his DJ service for our big day. His crew worked very professionally. The sound and microphones used were clear so the guests were able to hear the ceremony. He even used up lighting during our dinner to further accentuate the decorations and ambiance in the room. They played a wide variety of music during the reception, and made choosing songs for the ceremony, first dance, and reception easy prior to the event. We would happily recommend them as a DJ service for your ceremony.

We made the best decision booking Chris as our DJ! We met him at a bridal show and it was obvious he was an experienced entertainer. He had us fill out a questionnaire and we had a phone call before to discuss everything. He gives the best advice on timelines - what works with guests - what doesn't. My guests have talked and talked about how wonderful the music was. He even opened our bottle of wine during our toast. Overall, Chris made the day so stress free! From making announcements, playing great music, timing our ceremony and keeping guests entertained my husband and I really got to enjoy our wedding! I can not even put into words what an amazing job Chris did. He went above and beyond my expectations! We had a little bit of a rain situation and he came in and saved the day with a smile and his own personal touch. I would recommend him to anyone who is getting married. He was so interactive with my crowd and the dance floor did not empty until it was last call. He is absolutely the best and I couldn't have asked for a better D.J. Nothing but amazing things to say about C.D. Productions! Chris handled the music for both our outdoor wedding ceremony and indoor reception in June. Our ceremony and reception sites were 15 minutes apart and Chris took care of the setup at both locations perfectly (and with no complaints)...even jumped in to help a family friend setup his keyboard for our ceremony.
He listened to our wants and killed it at the reception! At one point, we saw a family member talking to Chris...of course our first thought was that he was trying to steal the mic, but later found out that he just wanted to tell Chris what a great job he was doing. We have heard from all of our guests how fun our reception was, and that is all thanks to Chris!
Chris also had some pretty fun surprises for us along the way, but I won't spoil those for you. We would recommend C.D. Productions to anyone- you won't be disappointed.

I hired Chris for my wedding at the Castle Post after I met him at the Bridal Bliss Expo in Lexington. As soon as I met him I knew he would do a great job because he was so passionate and he already knew exactly what I wanted in a DJ before I even told him! His pricing was so reasonable compared to the other DJ's I looked into. Plus he gave me the monogram and up lighting included in the price whereas the other DJ's they were extra! That was probably my selling point right there. He was super professional throughout the whole process. Instead of texting me or emailing me he would CALL me personally and check with me about stuff. That really showed how much he cared about my wedding! He made my wedding day PERFECT! I couldn't have dreamed that a DJ did so much to make a wedding happen! He was there early to set up and he worked with all my vendors to make sure everything got done. He made sure we were on time for pictures and dinner and first dances and kept everything running smoothly. He would let the guests know what to do so they weren't just standing around clueless. That's what I really wanted was someone to keep the flow going while we were away taking pictures. Not to mention he was hilarious!! During the garter throws and grand entrance he made everything super fun and relaxing! I never wanted my reception to end because I was having so much fun! He even got my older relatives out on the dance floor, I couldn't believe it! It was the best decision I made hiring Chris to DJ our wedding!

I don't know how the reception could have been any better! Chris is a true professional. As father of the bride it was my job to choose a DJ. To say that I was apprehensive would be an understatement. Chris provided sound system for 2 wedding ceremonies as well as DJing our reception. Fantastic job!. Chris was a great MC and the dance floor was full the entire evening. I cannot say Thank you enough. Hire this man without reservation!!!

I was very specific with the music I requested for my wedding reception. When his son showed up to DJ, incorrect songs were played when my girls walked down the aisle, for bouquet toss, and during reception. I voiced my concerns to him and he said he would stick to my “must play” list and said no one had voiced my requests to him beforehand. Yet he was holding my questionnaire! I was also unaware that anyone besides Chris himself would be handling the music played. I wanted to voice my concerns to ensure another bride did not have a similar experience but Chris has been radio silent on his end. Professionalism was prominent at the beginning of our business arrangement but toward the end not so much..

Chris as a person was super nice, we chose him before speaking with any other DJ's and I highly regret it. (It's not been 3 months we haven't been able to contact Chris by phone, email, text, or facebook) A few different companies had warned me about his business and I didn't listen. We paid around $1,500 for his service and were expecting a professional, instead we got a total nightmare. Chris was going to work another wedding and had hired out someone else for ours, I never got to meet the man who DJ'ed our wedding before the day and by then it was to late. I had given Chris specific details of what songs to play, a time line, and what NOT to play. The man who came to DJ our wedding phone didn't work with our music playlist (which is already unprofessional) so he used my aunts. Then he played the wrong songs for walking down isle (switched in the middle of it, I have it on video) he made NO announcements about waiting for the bride and groom to eat dinner, he played no music during cocktail hour or during dinner, he played NO songs we specifically requested he play, no modern songs, there was no flow to the night. Every time I needed something announced (I had written a list for him and it was on the schedule I gave Chris) I (the bride) had to go ask him to do it. Guests made song requests and they didn't get played they claimed the DJ was very rude to them, the DJ kept leaving his station and going to get drinks from our bar. And if all of that wasn't bad enough I requested 1 song NOT to be played, and he played it and it was the dirty version. After this nightmare I called Chris (literally the next day) and he answered said he would call to discuss it more and no one ever heard from him. I have called, texted, e-mailed, facebooked, others have even called and nothing. I am shocked that he would allow someone he hired do this without explanation or even an apology, just a warning to those who consider using this business.
