Byers' exceeded our wedding dessert expectations! My husband and I went with cupcakes, rather than, a massive cake and when we saw how the cupcakes we decorated and placed on the dessert table, we were amazed! We also did a small cake for us to cut (and eat). It all was super delicious and many of our guests commented on how good the cupcakes were! Highly recommend!

The bakery was very accommodating and really took the time to listen to what my husband and I were looking for. When we had our consultation we were still not 100% sure what we wanted and Naomi gave us a million options and helped us narrow it down to what we wanted. It all turned out exactly what we wanted! Thank you!!

Byers Butterflake Bakery has quite the reputation around them. Not only did my wedding planner recommend them, but so did my mom and my mother-in-law! They allowed us to come in and sample some of their cakes before making our decision and they were all so wonderful we had a hard time deciding! Our cake turned out better than I expected and I must say, I can't wait for a year to roll around when I can eat it again! I would highly recommend Byers!

My wedding cake was so perfect!!! Diahann is amazing. She really worked with us to find our style. She worked with the florist so we could have fresh flowers added to the cake. I definitely would recommend!

Our wedding cake was beautiful and delicious! Very easy to work with and she designed a beautiful wedding cake that all of the guests raved about. We choose the White Rhapsody for our flavor which is AMAZING! We couldn't have asked for a combination of taste and design, thanks Diahann and everyone at Byers Butterflake Bakery!

We looked at a lot of bakeries during an expo for brides. Byers had exceptional flavor, artistry and value. Our cake was so delicious people wanted seconds. We ordered a raspberry/lemon filling and the bakery was able to create call lilies cascading along the side incorporating our navy and silver colors into the cake without it overtaking the overall design. Again, you walk into the bakery, and they treat you like family. Delivery was on time and never a worry--the Eden Resorts works with this vendor a great deal.

My family has been buying desserts and cakes from Byers Butterflake Bakery for years from birthday parties, special events, and graduations. Naturally, when my fiancé and I got engaged we knew Byers would be the perfect bakery to bake our wedding cake.

We scheduled our tasting with Diane and had the best time. We arrived to our tasting to find six large slices of different flavored cakes for my fiancé, mom and I to taste. Additionally, she had out a variety of magazines and books to browse through to get ideas about what size, shape and design we may like. We absolutely loved the white cake with buttercream icing and the white cake with raspberry mouse filling. They were both light, fresh, moist and delicious. We knew they’d be the perfect flavors for our late summer wedding. Diane was an absolute joy to work with and we truly enjoyed choosing our wedding cake at Byers.

On the night of our wedding reception, we finally saw our cake and were absolutely blown away. The icing and finishing was flawless. It was apparent that our guests enjoyed it as well as we only had one slice left at the end of the evening! It was a wonderful experience working with the team at Byers and we’re sincerely happy with how our wedding cake turned out!

My wedding cake was more than I could have ever imagined. Diahann did such an AMAZING job with my cake. Not only did it taste amazing ( we did the raspberry filling with the shaved chocolate and white cake, buttercream icing). The cake was very moist, melted in my mouth. Diahann was a pleasure to work with. She made sure my cake was designed exactly like the picture I gave her but it turned out even better. the detail on the cake was so beautiful. I will never forget anything about my cake. I am so pleased with how professional Diahann was and she was there to answer any questions I had wheather it was in person, over the phone or via email. Anytime I have an event or party, I go to Byers Bakery. Not only are they clean, but the items they make and sell are always so fresh and taste amazing. I had many people come from Pittsburgh for our wedding and everyone raved about the cake. NOt one person had anything negative to say. Thank you Diahann for making my wedding day PERFECT!!

Byers Butterflake Bakery baked the specialty cupcakes for our wedding held at the Inn at Leola Village (near Lancaster, PA). The wedding cake was part of the Inn's package and Byers worked with the Inn to ensure that all of the logistics were handled and everything was perfect on the wedding day.

We could not have been more pleased with the quality of the cupcakes...not only were they incredibly tasty, there were also beautiful and added a pop of color to the dessert table. We selected 5-6 flavors about about 140 people, and all of our guests raved about them. The cupcakes were a generous size and decorated with the perfect amount of icing and details (chocolate shavings, almond and lemon pieces, etc.). There was also a great selection of flavors, both traditional and gourmet. Diahann was great to work with and provided good ideas about how to set-up the cupcake display, etc.

Being able to have cupcakes at the wedding was something that was important to me and we were very appreciative that Diahann and her team were willing to work with us to make that happen. We'll definitely be making a quick trip to Byers Butterflake Bakery to pick up some sweets the next time we are in Leola!

Deeeeelicious cake! Melt in your mouth buttercream! I was very happy with my wedding cake! It was beautiful! Diahann was very patient with us and responded very quickly to emails or phone calls!

Byers was extremely professional throughout the entire process. The cake was beautiful but also SO INCREADIBLY GOOD. We got so many compliments from our guests. Get the almond tort with butter cream icing, it's fantastic!

We did cupcakes for our daughters wedding. they were a huge success. everyone loved them. Byers made sure that the table was perfect before leaving. they didn't just go in and throw them on a table. They were fresh and moist. The decorations on the top of each cupcake was perfect. I HIGHLY recommend Byers butterflake bakery in Leola, PA. to anyone looking for a wedding cake or baked goods of any kind for any occasion. The staff is friendly, the store is clean, you don't have to worry that you won't get what you want. OH and they always have samples....

When I asked the owner to make me a "Alice in Wonderland cake with 10 different colors and starts shooting out of the top" She didn't even look at me like I was crazy! She actually got excited about my design! We ended up going with Strawberry shortcake and the cake looked absolutely amazing and better yet, it tasted like a dream!

Our wedding cake was absolutely amazing and delicious, it was exactly what we asked for. I'm not a big cake person but Byers can make cakes. After we had our tasting we couldn't wait to eat it on our wedding day. I wish we had Byers business cards because all our guests kept asking where we got our cake.

Diahann was such a pleasure to work with. She designed our cake exactly to what we wanted. We chose three amazing flavors, and had so many compliments. Our cake did not taste like it was frozen & thawed, but moist and flavorful. I would highly recommend Byers for any occassion cake! If you are getting married at The Inn at Leola Village, Casa di Fiori, you the cost of the cake is included. Making it very easy to organize!

We were very happy with our bakery choice for our wedding cake! The cake was delicious, the baker took time to sit down with us to customize our cake and provided a tasting, and the finished product came out wonderfully! I got a groom's cake from their as well, and both the groom's cake and wedding cake came out perfectly! I'd highly recommend this bakery.

Beyers was by far the best cake that we tasted, and we were not dissapointed on the day of our wedding. We had a strawberry shortcake for most of the layers, and chocolate kahlua for the top. The cake turned out beautiful, and everyone loved it.

This bakery hit the nail on the head. The cake was BEAUTIFUL, the service was friendly and helpful and the cake was worth every penny. Even 1 year later when we thawed out the top layer, it was still delicious. We received many compliments on the cake and would strongly recommend Byers to anyone.

We had cheesecake and cupcakes as our wedding cake. I didn't get a chance to taste the cupcakes (but judging by the blue, icing-covered face of our ringbearer, I'm guessing they were good) but the cheesecake was phenomenal. We got many compliments on it. While they would have delivered for a fee, the owner told me that the cake stand would be easy to set up and didn't require any special skill. She was right. My friend had no problem picking up the cheesecake and setting everything up. I also thought the prices were very reasonable, although my cake did not require any fancy decorating. I would definitely recommend Byers Butterflake Bakery!

Working with Byers was very easy and they have a nice selection of flavors to choose from, as well as photos of different wedding cakes to look through. I would absolutely recommend them to future brides.

Byer's Butterflake was a delight to work with. They were kind and very welcoming. It was easy to figure out what I wanted with their help. The cake flavors were hard to choose from because they were all so delicious! So we chose two flavors - a couple of tiers for each. It was also incredibly convenient to our wedding venue (The Inn at Leola Village), so that made it easier for appointments. Also, our cake was included in our wedding package, amazingly! Overall, we had a wonderful experience with their bakery.

Our cake was delicious and there was a large variety to choose from! Byers set up the cake and made sure everything looked beautiful. They also made key lime cupcakes and key lime pies for my groom for the night before. Absolutely delicious!

The wedding cake looked exactly as I had envisioned it. I really appreciated the attention to detail that went into designing the cake. It also tasted absolutely delicious! The bakery also worked closely with our florist to ensure that the delivery of the cake topper was coordinated with the cake itself. If you haven't tried their cakes, you absolutely have to! Try vanilla almond or chocolate raspberry! You will literally be in heaven.

Diahann was very pleasant to work with. I am not very artsy so she was very patient with me as I tried to describe what I wanted. The shop offers a wide variety of flavors so there is something for everyone. The cake and cupcakes we ordered from her looked beautiful and were delicious! The only downside is that Diahann works in the bakery during the day and it often takes a few days for her to reply to emails, but anytime I called, people at the shop were available to help me. I would definitely recommend Byer's to anyone.

Diahann did a beautiful job designing & creating the wedding cake of my dreams. I had the vanilla-almond cake with buttercream frosting. She copied the beadwork appliques from my gown and utilized my bridal party colors & the flowers from the bouquets to coordinate the cake with the entire look of our wedding! Impressive & delicious. Our wedding was at the Inn at Leola Village and the cake was included in our package there. Therefore, the only bakery I visited for wedding cake was Byers and I do not know the value for cost. I don't know what the cake cost, but I gave 5/5 as not to lower the rating (would not let me just not rate it).

The groom and I live in Texas and were only able to come back once during our 5 month planning. They accommodated us by allowing our tasting to be on a Saturday. At our tasting we were able to chose 3 favors ahead of time to try. Our tasting was during the beginning planning stages, and they seemed slightly annoyed that I did not know exactly what I wanted design wise. I suppose I should of come with ready to go with pictures, and would recommend doing this. They have a ton of options from design, shape, to favors. The building the bakery is located in is beautiful and all the items in the bakery smelled and tasted wonderful.

After the meeting, we communicated primarily through email, and everything worked out great. Diahann did a great job designing our wedding cake. Using the designs from our invitation I mailed her, she was able to create a unique cake design that complimented the wedding look. She emailed us a drawing of the cake ahead of time. I thought the cake looked very nice, Diahann is truly an artist. I really appreciated how she was able to incorporate the flower design on the cake.

Unfortunately I never got a chance to taste the cake on our wedding day, but at the tasting the cake tasted great. Our favors were chocolate and strawberry shortcake. The guests said they liked it, although a few commented that they wished there were more strawberries. On the day of the cake arrived on time.

Our cake was absolutely gorgeous. It was included as part of our wedding package. I really already knew what I wanted going into things, but they have so many books and pictures to look at to give you ideas. I had already been familiar with the bakery previously and everything I've ever had from there was excellent. My only complaint was that I didn't particulaly like the flavor of the red velvet in our wedding cake, which I found odd since that is normally my favorite thing from there. The strawberry shortcake is another favorite of mine. Overall, I was very pleased and definitely recommend Byers.

What an awesome job! Our cake turned out perfect. We had a small event and actually ended up doing a small 6" cake for ourselves and large cream-filled cupcakes for our guests. Our family and friends were raving about the cupcakes afterwards. They did a beautiful job decorating the cupcakes just the way we wanted. Since it was such as small event and only cupcakes, we handled set-up on our own, but they provided the stand and made things as simpled as possible. I would definitely recommend Byers to anyone. Well worth every penny spent. Can't wait to go back to the bakery for other goodies!

I got many compliments from my guest on this cake... and it was one of the best cakes i've ever had! Diann was very nice and very upfront with costs since that was one of our main issues b/c we were paying for our own wedding. We didn't have to play any games, just asked for a cake within our budget and got an amazing cake!

Byers Butterflake Bakery prepared the most gorgeous wedding cake for us! It was a comforting feeling to sit with the bakery and discuss in great detail the design of the wedding cake. They took their time with us and I left knowing that our wedding cake was going to be perfect! It truly was! The attention to detail on the wedding cake was just incredible and let's not forget to mention how delicious the flavors were. I highly recommend the White Rhapsody for one of your layers...YUM! They did a great job with everything. The cake tasted amazing and was what I was looking for. They really brought together the vision that I was looking for in my wedding cake. Byers did a great job of listening to us and creating a cake that was exactly what we had envisioned. They were also open in offering suggestions on what they thought would work best with our vision. And most importantly, the cake was delicious! .... Unfortunately our caterer threw it out at the end of the night, so we never got a second piece! At least we know most of the guests enjoyed it!

Byer's did a great job with our wedding cake. We wanted something simple, but super yummy and with a delicate design. Our design was beautiful and the cake was EXTREMELY yummy..cannot wait to open it up again for our one year anniversary!

Our cake was absolutely delicious! We saw a picture of it and knew it was the one for us! We had a simple vanilla cake for the majority of the layers but for the top layer we had red velvet, which is my favorite. It looked great the day of our wedding. We were allowed to try 3 flavors when we picked our cake. The almond was good, but vanilla was a bit moister. The bakery is very cute and everyone was really nice. We didn't have to pay for it because it was contracted through our reception venue, but I have heard and seen quotes from them that are really expensive.

The cake was beautiful and tasted very good. The tasting was a little strange... yes, there were a lot of us, but they seemed to be a little annoyed when we wanted to taste different flavor combinations other than the ones they had.

We really enjoyed Byers Butterflake Bakery on our wedding day! We had cupcakes for the guests and a small cake for us and the family. Everything went smoothly with no problems and we appreciate their services!
