Our wedding florals were beyond beautiful. Every arrangement was fresh, elegant, and thoughtfully designed. Nina did such an amazing job bringing my ideas to life for my wedding florals. I showed her a few pictures and talked about colors and just trusted her and I’m glad i did. The quality she delivered was first class for sure. She knows what she’s doing. The floral arrangements looked even better than i could have ever imagined and were perfect. I would highly recommend Byrequest for everyone. The main thing i cared about for my wedding was the florals and having lots of them and they did not disappoint. Thanks Nina 😍 -

Absolutely fantastic!
WOW did Nina and her team absolutely crush the floral design and execution at our wedding! By Request came as a recommendation from our wedding planner, Mady Bell, and she did not disappoint. Nina was very responsive during our planning phases and provided a detailed floral design proposal. She included several options for center pieces and fun add ons like flower collars for our dog and flower girl/ring bearer florals. We ended up adding additional items throughout our planning process and she was able to incorporate these seamlessly.
The day of our wedding was perfect. Her team was on time and installed a labor intensive floral arch quickly and helped create a beautiful ceremony and reception space. Our bouquets were exactly what we wanted- whites, creams, greenery with some spots of sea holly. They were BEAUTIFUL! The bridesmaid bouquets and boutonnieres matched perfectly and were equally as beautiful.
We could not have asked for a better floral vendor and would highly recommend By Request to future couples. You won’t regret it! -

Nina was so easy to work with and helped make suggestions when I wasn’t sure what exactly I wanted in certain areas of my wedding. She has great attention to detail - our flowers turned out so beautiful! She was also very responsive to emails which is always appreciated in the wedding planning process. I highly recommend hiring her as your wedding florist! -

Florals were my #1 priority when it came to our wedding decor and Nina made all our flower dreams come true! She easily understood our vision and helped us figure out which flowers to use and where. She was able to do everything we asked for, such as a special floating floral spray for a fountain, and all within a very reasonable budget. She also offered and suggested rentals like lanterns and small vases that really brought our vision together. Nina was easy to work with and very flexible- when two whole tables cancelled due to COVID a week before our wedding, Nina was able to repurpose the flowers from those tables to add extra flowers elsewhere so they were not wasted! She was also very clever about repurposing a lot of the flowers from our ceremony into our reception, which saved us a good deal of money but you never would have known based on how many compliments we got! Lastly, I appreciate how efficient Nina was- once we had our plans set, she worked with my planner to take care of absolutely everything so that I didn’t have to worry about where or when things were showing up. She was definitely the easiest, most low-key vendor we worked with but the work she delivered was that of a true professional. If you are looking for absolutely gorgeous celebrity-quality florals at a reasonable price, look no further than Nina/By Request! -

Our wedding flowers were absolutely gorgeous. Working with Nina at By Request was great! She was professional, easy to work with and was able to capture my wedding vision while also making sure no detail was missed. I loved that my bridesmaid bouquets matched mine and that we were able to repurpose our aisle arrangements as our table centerpieces. The floral arrangements on our welcome sign also tied the entire vision together. Highly recommend using By Request for any floral needs you might have! -

We are so incredibly happy that we chose By Request to be our florist for our wedding. The flowers were absolutely beautiful and they were everything I envisioned for our wedding day! Nina is so kind and helpful, and she took my ideas (and pinterest board!) and brought them to life. Everything from my bouquets, to the arch decor, to the cake flowers were perfect. Her assistant, Jay, did amazing job setting everything up! I have nothing but good things to say about By Request and highly recommend them! -

Gorgeous Florals for our Wedding!
Nina has an incredible talent and made the florals for our wedding day fit my vision! Originally I said I wanted specific greens for the table runners, but she called me a week before and let me know that she would like to change it to something that was healthier and would stand up better. She knew my vision better than I did because everything turned out exactly how I wanted due to the creative license she took! She also provided all of the decor for our sweetheart table, which was just stunning and made such a statement. Thank you Nina for doing an incredible job! -

Nina was absolutely wonderful to work with throughout my planning process. At the beginning, I was probably the most indecisive bride when it came to what arrangements I needed, as well as my color schema. As things started to settle into place, Nina helped make great recommendations on what types of flowers I should be thinking about to meet my colors during the fall season as well as bring to life through different bouquet, arbor and table arrangement options. She also helped recommend to me another local shop (Pressing Petals SLO) to preserve my bridal bouquet in a framed arrangement after.
I can't speak highly enough about how GORGEOUS my bouquet, bridesmaid bouquets, arbor placement, table garland, table arrangements, groomsmen boutonnieres and more turned out. It really brought my originally vague "fall-colored" vision to something better than I could have imagined! -

Absolute professionalism, beautiful design, seamless communication.
Nina went above and beyond for my big day. She quickly provided design ideas based on my color choices, and worked with me to get EXACTLY what I envisioned. Every single detail that went into my florals was stunning and thoroughly planned, and made such an impression on everyone. I truly don’t know how she does it, her work made my “Pinterest wedding” dreams come true. I would absolutely recommend Nina with ByRequest to any future bride. -

Nina is incredible. We decided to plan our own wedding and weren’t sure where to begin on floral - luckily we were in great hands with Nina. She was very patient and guided through the entire planning process with ease. The arrangements she put together were absolutely stunning and could not have been more perfect. We had to make a few changes day-of and without missing a beat she came up with a solution on the fly and absolutely crushed it. She made took our special day to the next level and we could not be more grateful for her help. -

To say Nina exceeded expectations simply is an understatement. She worked with me throughout the entire process and was so understanding when my vision for florals changed. Nina was very helpful throughout the planning process and delivered beautiful flowers on the day of our wedding. As someone who doesn't know much about flowers at all, Nina took our wedding colors and made suggestions on various types and colors of flowers. She was very flexible, helping us plan and re-plan (wedding postponed due to COVID), and very clearly communicated any changes throughout the process. Nina was an absolute dream to work with. She was professional, flexible, and ready to get creative. Nina went above and beyond to find unique elements to add to our floral arrangements. I gave her my color scheme and shared my vision via a Pinterest board and she let her creativity fly. Both my bridal party and I were over the moon about our arrangements and we had countless guests comment on the floral decorations throughout the venue. Our pieces were extremely intricate and Nina made sure we had every piece of floral decor needed to make our day shine. She was affordable and reasonable when it came to using pieces multiple times throughout the day. I was extremely impressed with her work and would absolutely book again for any event! -

Nina was by far the most amazing florist. She created a pinterest page specific to our wedding so that we could both post inspiration photos. She had several calls with my mom and I to help design the tables, figure out logistics, and talk through bouquets and garland greenery for the tables. She worked within our budget, and listened to what we wanted. She was so flexible, and came to the venue twice during wedding day to accommodate our set up needs. Our florals were a dream and everything I could have hoped for! -

We hired By Request for floral arrangements for our wedding in Paso Robles in October 2019. I'll start by saying that I don't know a lot about flowers and that I didn't want to spend a huge part of my budget on them. By Requests pricing was so reasonable for the amazing work that they did and Nina was so easy to work with. I don't know a lot about flowers, so Nina guided me through a lot and I was able to rely on her opinion for choices that I couldn't make up my mind about. I ended up adding on multiple items a few days before the wedding and Nina delivered and exceeded expectations! I highly recommend working with By Request for florals! -

Nina and Jeremy quickly became the “key” people in planning our wedding day. They thought of the unthinkable and helped us create and carry out all the things we wanted on our big day. Nina was my event planner and florist and made sure the night went by flawlessly. Jeremy was our DJ and the soothing soul of the bunch that knew how to keep us sane meanwhile keeping our party alive. I love them both so much and owe them the world for such an amazing day that I’ll never forget. -

We absolutely LOVED By Request as our DJ. They were nice, accommodating, professional, and absolutely nothing went wrong. Some things I/We loved:
- Jeremy edited both the father/daughter and mother/son songs down to a slightly shorter length, and the edit was so professionally done that it was impossible to tell unless you were singing along.
- Jeremy gave me, unprompted, a microphone when I began singing Will Smith's song, Wild Wild West. - Lighting setup was beatiful
- Song Choices were perfect
- Every song request was fullfilled exactly as requested
- They functioned completely autonomously without prodding or guidance from our coordinator (based on previously discussed plans of course)
My wife and I would recommend Jeremy and Nina to anyone that asks, without a second thought. -

Jeremy and Nina are AMAZING! They met with us a couple weeks before our wedding day to go through our timeline for the day and what music/announcements we wanted (or didn’t want) for each part of our special day. Prior to the wedding, Nina was in contact with both our caterer and our day-of coordinator to make sure everyone was on the same page with schedules. They both made sure our day ran smoothly and on schedule, to make sure we had time to do each part of the reception we were hoping for. Jeremy was great at keeping the party going on the dance floor and our guests have told us it was the most fun wedding they’ve ever attended! I credit that to Jeremy’s skill in keeping the reception moving and the music bumping. THANK YOU Jeremy and Nina for helping make our special day so awesome! -

We hired By Request for all three services they offer: DJ, Floral, and Event Director (Day-of-Coordinator). All of our wedding vendors were great, but Nina and Jeremy were the greatest of the great! We were so happy we hired them. My husband and I are both very detail-oriented. It is SUCH a relief to work with people who "get it" and are even more detail oriented than we are! This is the case with Nina & Jeremy. They helped us think through the overall look and feel of the event, helped us handle the back up rain plan (which we had to use), and Nina ran the rehearsals and the event on the day of. She was easily able to take charge and herd all the cats around :). Jeremy was very accommodating about all the specific music we wanted including coordinating with my brother playing live music on keyboard; and Nina delivered the exact floral vision we wanted without a lot of direction and within our budget. So needless to say, we recommend these two consummate professionals for your event. You will not be sorry! -

Look no further!! Best DJ/Florist/Event Directer... EVER
We could not imagine having anyone else for our wedding! We used ByRequest (Nina and Jeremy) for DJ, floral AND Event Director. If you're looking for any of those or all of them LOOK NO FURTHER!! Nina and Jeremy were and are THE best! They were so organized! They helped with every step! They were easy to communicate with! They were very approachable! They understood exactly what we wanted. They just made our special and important day so perfect! Without them we would have been so lost. They had every detail covered, even the things we over looked! If you're reading this do yourself one favor book them immediately! Do NOT pass on them! Thank you Nina and Jeremy for everything! Nina does amazing work with floral by the way and Jeremy works the dance floor like no other DJ! -

We hired Nina to handle miscellaneous flower arrangements and the bouquets and everything was stunning. The final outcome of the bride and bridesmaid bouquets were perfect. It was as if she took the picture in my head and turned it into a reality. She even accommodated a last minute request to incorporate my "something borrowed" onto the bouquet and it turned out beautiful.
Jeremy was a huge asset to the entire evening. His involvement, enthusiasm, and selection of music was amazing. He kept the entire pace and momentum of the event going and made sure everyone was dancing. Every single comment I received from my guests included some mention as to how great our DJ was.
