Buttercream Bakery and Catering was the talk of my wedding- Ann and her staff were UTTERLY AMAZING. From her fabulous cake design to the food displays to the actual scrumptious meals she prepared... it was a 10 out of 10 experience. My parents, our wedding guests, my Fiance, our whole wedding party... we were all just floored at Ann's level of attention to detail and customer service. As a Bride, she TRULY exceeded all our expectations on every single detail, it-was-perfection. My only complaint was that she won't move back to Jacksonville, Fl where we live so we can hire her team for our events back home, lol! Bottom line- I would give Ann and her team at Buttercream Bakery and Catering my highest endorsement because they EARNED IT. We are thrilled with our wedding and it's largely due to the heart and customer service that Ann provided. So what are you waiting for? Hire her. Absolutely love everything about Ann and her team. The food is always amazing. We get compliments for months after on the food. From set up to tear down, you cant find more professional staff. Will use them again for sure. -

This company is amazing! We used them for a Bridesmaid luncheon and Wow! From the design of the centerpiece cake to the variety of other desserts included all were absolutely divine ! The best flavors from the freshest choices of items created a once in a lifetime beautiful memory for all that attended! Such an easy to work with company and a pleasure to use for any event. -

Ann seemed to know exactly what we wanted and certainly went above and beyond. We will definitely use Buttercream Cakes and Catering again!

Tanya Sent on 10/25/2017DELICIOUS!!!! We hired Buttercream Cakes & Catering to make our wedding cupcakes and a small cake for the two of us to be able to cut. I seriously cannot get over how delicious the cake and cupcakes were!! We ordered 120 cupcakes and a 6" round cake and the next day there were only about 10 cupcakes left (we had 100 guests)! Everyone was talking about how good they tasted and how they had the absolute perfect amount of sweetness to them. The cupcakes/cake were so moist and the icing was to die for!! If you are looking for a wedding cake and/or cupcakes that you know everyone will eat and not scoop the icing off, Ann is your go to girl!! Ann is super sweet and such a doll to work with. She was so accommodating and responded to my emails/calls/texts in a prompt manner. Not only were her cupcakes the best out of all the places we tried (and we tried a few), she had such reasonable pricing all around. You will not regret hiring Buttercream Cakes & Catering for your event! Thank you so much for everything you did for our wedding and for making some delicious cake and cupcakes. We will definitely be ordering from Ann in the future!! She is the absolute best!!

Best cake I’ve ever tasted!
My husband and I got married in North Myrtle Beach and live in NJ...Ann was so sweet and helpful. The cake she made us was definitely the BEST cake my guest and I have ever tasted. I would refer ANYONE to her bc of the great service and amazing cake! -

Ann and her team at Buttercream Cakes and Catering made my wedding the most perfect experience I could have imagined. The food was absolutely delicious. The wedding cake design was over the top and tasted out of this world good. She and her staff were so professional and attentive during the reception to me, my groom, and our guests. I sincerely could not have asked for Buttercream Cakes and Catering to have been any better. I would highly recommend considering them for your next event. -

Jennifer Sent on 01/04/2016Where to start? First, she is hilarious and just an awesome person. Second, the cake was beautiful, and Lastly it was so very delicious! She actually made our Grooms cake for our rehearsal dinner and everyone LOVED it. Our friends and family actually saw that some was left and they all begged us to box it up and take it home, so they did. Then our actual wedding cake.......Oh. My. God. SO GOOD! My other Vendors all asked me for her contact information. I also got many texts while we were on our honeymoon from our Bridesmaids and other Wedding Guests saying that "All I want out of life right now is another slice of your wedding cake" and I had to agree with them. Delicious, beautiful cakes at an unbeatable price. We already ordered our daughters birthday cake through her for February. Call Ann ASAP! -

Ann and her team were amazing! We went from an over 100 guest wedding to 20 people total including the wedding party given the circumstances with the pandemic in May 2020. Ann changed everything we had originally planned in order to accommodate what our daughter and future son-in-law needed. Everything moved from a wonderful venue to our home. Ann and her staff made the best of it! They prepared an elegant and delicious dinner. Plus, the wedding cake was as scrumptious as it was beautiful. They left our kitchen and home as clean as they found it before the night was over. I know if you choose Buttercream Cakes & Catering, you'll be thrilled with the result! -

Ann and her team at Buttercream Cakes and Catering were absolutely the best choice! From the tasting to the reception we were 100% pleased. I never once had to worry about anything with Ann throughout the whole planning process. She was quick to respond to my emails, she is very organized with her business, always had a plan together, took care of everything related to our catering needs at the reception (food, drinks, utensils, display, cake cutting, etc.) and her hospitality is outstanding! My husband and I talk about the food from our reception often and plan to visit her again real soon. The response from our guest at the wedding have been nothing but good things about the food! Our cake was everything I had imagined and I have never tasted a wedding cake quite that delicious. Choosing Buttercream Cakes and Catering for our wedding was one of the BEST decisions we made for our reception and if we had to do it all over again we wouldn’t change a thing about. Thank you❤️ -

Amanda Sent on 10/24/2017Ann Mayfield at Buttercream Cakes & Catering is the BEST!!! She is a rare talent. At our tasting, the cakes she put in front of us were the best few bites of cake I've ever had in my life. We ordered her "naked" peaches 'n cream cake with simple white frosting on it for our wedding, and people are still talking about it. Ann was also incredibly accommodating and open to sharing her dessert table with a second cake from another baker whose geode design we were digging, which on our part, was a very unusual request. Ann went out of her way to order us the kind of cake stand we wanted, and all in all, we just really appreciate everything about her and our experience working with her. Thank you so much, Ann.

Kari Sent on 04/04/2017If I could give 100 stars for Buttercream, I would. Ann and her staff are top notch. I actually learned about Ann through a friend I used to live with in TN. When I first moved to Myrtle, Ann offered me a part time job with her company for a few days. This is where I first realized how legit her company was. First off, I was AMAZED at her food safety. This woman does not play around with food. She is very focused on how her food is handled, stored, and served. She also goes well above and beyond the service she even offers. needless to say, I wanted her to cater my wedding, and I was SO GLAD she did. Her team is so efficient and detail oriented. Her food and cakes are incredible. Right after I got married, she made sure we had wine and champagne for my bridal party to toast. She walked all the way down the street to deliver drinks and food to all of us while we were taking pictures. She is so in tuned to peoples needs. She worked with my budget, and made sure I was taken care of from beginning to end. They also clean up the kitchen even better than its original state. She might as well advertise her cleaning service, because the cleaning up is incredible. This is one woman you NEED to have at your wedding. I watched her work her butt off from sunrise to sunset. Drinks will never go empty, cakes will always be beautiful, food will be delicious, and your wedding guests will be 100% taken care of. It hard to find professionalism these days, but this company is the definition of professional. I'm pretty dang busy and I don't really ever write reviews, but I had to tell the world how much this company is worth your time. Don't take my word for it, call her and find out for yourself. I promise my word. -

Not only is her food and cakes delectable, but the presentation is stunning as well. We did our tasting with two family members and she made everyone right at home. My fiancé and I can't wait for our wedding day in part because we know all the food and cake is going to be phenomenal!
