I had hired Butcher and The Blonde to cater my wedding. When we decided to cancel they were very understanding. We ending up using our deposit towards a backyard event for my sister's wedding and it was great! They are easy to communicate with and the food was all really delicious! I would definitely recommend them :)

The Butcher and the Blonde catered our wedding last fall. Our guests said it was the best food they had EVER had at a wedding. We had amazing passed appetizers and stations with Tacos, Roasted Vegetable Enchiladas and Steak with Chimichurri . The selection is amazing. There are plenty of Vegetarian options.
Caitlin, who owns the business with her husband, is extremely professional and highly organized. Her customer service in impeccable. Every aspect of working with her was a dream.
Thanks to her, the wedding reception was a huge success.
Caitlin has opened a brick and mortar restaurant in Frederick, CO.
I would encourage everyone to try her new restaurant and experience her delicious carnitas tacos and kale Caesar just to start! . Your tummy will thank you.

We loved having The Butcher and the Blonde at our wedding! Everyone loved the food from the food truck and the macaroni and cheese bar was a big hit! The best was that Caitlin had made us a plate each of appetizers since we were busy taking photographs during the first part of our cocktail hour. We would highly recommend The Butcher and the Blonde!

Due to needing some flexibility on food selections, with having such a range of tastes and picky eaters among the guests, the Butcher and Blonde were sensitive to that need. They worked with me to select a menu and accommodate a range of tastes and likes. It was easy to talk to them, they walked me through the process easily and seamlessly. An excellent experience overall and the food was excellent!

Tom and Caitlin were amazing to work with. Our guests still talk about how unique and amazing our food was at our wedding all thanks to Butcher and the Blonde. I had such trust in Caitlin from the very beginning and knew she would execute our vision perfectly. I highly recommend!

We had such a great experience working with Butcher and the Blonde! We were able to attend an open house and try so much of their food. It was all SO GOOD we had a hard time choosing what we wanted for our wedding. We had appetizers, dinner, dessert and bartending services all from Butcher and the Blonde. Everyone who helped the day of our wedding was friendly and helpful. The food and service was wonderful and it fit perfectly in with out casual, fun day!

We had an elaborate plan to go to all the food tastings but that plan was basically tossed in the trash after one visit to the Butcher and the Blonde's food truck. It surpassed any wedding food my husband and I had ever had at any wedding and we were sold. The food was not just good, it was amazing and the only problem we had was narrowing down the menu to three items. Caitlin and Tom were such a pleasure to work with and so flexible and patient with our changing menu needs. Guests definitely went up for seconds!

We had a lot of special food considerations (allergies, celiac, vegetarian, etc) for our wedding which made picking out a food truck a little stressful. Our venue recommended Butcher and The Blonde to us because they'd had good experiences with them before and I could not be more thankful! It was very easy to pick a menu that suited everyone's needs and they didn't even flinch when I provided them with the list of what food considerations we had! Communication was prompt, friendly, and very helpful, and it really took a load off of my back because I didn't feel like I had to worry about the food at all!
When the day arrived, they showed up right on time, were very friendly, and touched base with us a lot so that there weren't any misunderstandings. The food was phenomenal and everyone was raving about it, and there were no mishaps with anyone that had food limitations. Working with Butcher and The Blonde is like a dream!

I can not say enough good things about working with Butcher and the Blonde on our wedding. The entire planning process was great, they took our ideas, added their own great spin and were always beyond helpful. When it came to the actual event everyone raved about the food and the staff were so fun and friendly they felt like guests. I really can not recommend them enough. . . so good!

Caitlin & Tom were SUCH a hit at our wedding! They came highly recommended by our wedding planner and we couldn't have been more thrilled to have them as part of our day. When we mentioned wanting to do a Sante Fe-inspired menu, they were so excited & accommodating. The number one compliment we received after the wedding was how incredible the food was. They really went above & beyond, including offering late-night snack options (those Tijuana Street Fries!!!). Not to mention Caitlin & Tom are just super wonderful people. Can't recommend Butcher & The Blonde enough!

AHHH these guys were awesome!
For me, the LEAST memorable thing about most weddings I attend is the food. So for my own wedding, I wanted to do something to make it memorable - either super high end, or something fun and funky - we went fun and funky and chose to go the food truck route. We're SO glad we did.
First: a note about communication - These guys were awesome - able to answer all our questions in a timely manner, and Kaitlin came out to the walk through, like, TWO WEEKS after she had a baby!
Now the food - it was FANTASTIC! I didn't know where to set my expectations, as food truck grub runs the gamut from amazing to underwhelming - but these guys were FAR on the amazing side. Think high-end gastro-pub food. We did fried chicken, Fish tacos, and potroast sliders, sides of mac and cheese and seasonal veggies. Everything was amazing. The biggest surprise was the fish tacos - being in Colorado, they can be hit or miss, but these were AWESOME! I think the best I've had in the state! Really everything was fantastic - everything felt considered, balanced, with exceptional flavor. How they do this to scale, I have no idea!
We also chose to have them do a latenight snack - this was the hit of the party - its what my friends keep talking about - the Tijuana Fries! Perfect late night food as everyone has been celebrating, and you need to fill their bellies so they can keep going. It was a huge hit and fun vibe to have our friends all ordering tacos + fries (on us) from the food truck.
We decided to forgo the traditional wedding cake and instead we had Butcher and The Blonde do salted carmel and oreo rice crispy treats and blondies- They were such a hit there was not ONE left at the end of the night!
Overall the food was very memorable - our guests were all talking about how good everything was (and STILL talk about it when we see them!).
I will be seeking this truck out throughout the area, and highly recommend them for your catering needs.

it's been 5 months since our wedding and people are STILL raving about the food!!! since it's been 5 months and we are just now writing our review, here are 5 reasons that we gave them 5 stars!!

1. Caitlin and Tom worked with us to put together a custom menu that fit both Taylor and I perfectly. (yummm)
2. There were PLENTY of appetizers still available after the guests had already taken their seats for us to pig out on while we waited to be introduced. thank god, all the nerves from the ceremony and picture taking really makes you hungry!!
3. They had a plate for each of us ready to go once we sat down. People always say you don't get to eat at your own wedding, but The Butcher and the Blonde made sure there was a quick bite for us to grab every chance we got.
plus, who would want to miss out on their food?!
4. this adorable husband and wife team go above and beyond to make sure your day goes smoothly!! we had last minute changes due to weather, yet i didn't even have to think about coordinating changes with them, it was already done.
5. um, they have a food truck! hello? what a unique and fun way to present your food at any event. buffets and plated meals are so over done ;)

We are beyond glad that we chose them to be a part of our wedding. i would recommend them over and over again. THANK YOU Butcher and The Blonde for giving us something we were proud to share with our guests!!
