We could not have asked for a better experience with the Bushnell Event Center! From start to finish, they were incredibly easy to work with and went above and beyond to make our day special. They even upgraded our room free of charge and provided the groom and groomsmen with an extra room to get ready in the morning, which made things so much smoother.
Lisa was amazing—extremely flexible and accommodating, allowing us access to the venue exactly when we needed it. The space itself is absolutely beautiful and created the perfect backdrop for our wedding day.
If you’re looking for a gorgeous venue with a team that truly cares about making everything stress-free and seamless, I highly recommend the Bushnell Event Center!Bushnell Event Center's reply:

Kiger Wedding- 10.04.2025 BEST DAY EVER!!
5 STARS, 10/10, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
I truly can’t speak highly enough of our wedding experience with the Bushnell Event Center. From the moment we took our first tour and booked our date, to the day after our wedding when we came to pack up all of our decor, every step of the process was handled with professionalism and care. Lisa is an absolute DREAM to work with!! She was a plethora of information regarding the venue itself, preferred vendors, and knew all of the ins and outs of how the day would run- from setup to tear down, and every moment in between. The venue was very spacious and clean, and our guests loved the warm atmosphere of the exposed brick and beautiful lighting. Another huge plus was the adjacent venue parking for Bushnell events, which kept our guests from having to find street or garage parking nearby on the day. Our special day was beautiful and everything ran seamlessly- and we owe a HUGE thank you to Lisa and the Bushnell Event Center for making it absolutely perfect!!

We had our company Christmas party at the Bushnell Event Center last year. It was perfect for what we needed! They were professional, timely and very responsive to our needs. We booked 2025's Christmas party while we were still there last year since it went so well! -

We had our daughters wedding at the Bushnell and everything was great! Lisa was amazing and great to work with. It was so nice having the wedding & reception all at one venue and made it so convenient for all of the out of state guests staying at the Marriott. -

The Bushnell Event Center is a beautiful, historical venue and relatively budget-friendly. Their staff is great, but management can be hit or miss, which is why I am giving the event center three stars. When we first booked the venue in August 2023, everything was great, but in the weeks leading up to the wedding, communication turned sour. There were elements of our wedding which I thought had been added to our invoice that were not, despite my husband and I consistently requesting these elements for months since booking the venue. Management was defensive and attempted to bill us a higher price for the additions than what was stated in the contract we both signed. If it were not for our wedding coordinator stepping in and mediating, things would gone further south. On our actual wedding day, thankfully, management was not present, and the staff who were present were attentive and lovely to us and our guests. It was beautiful day with a fantastic venue in the background. I would recommend the Bushnell Event Center but would advise that couples push to confirm every seemingly-minor detail in writing to avoid the conflict with management that we had.Bushnell Event Center's reply:
Thank you for your Review Whitney, but the whole story isn't told here. First off, I gave you a $2895.00 room for $1,500.00. So saying relatively inexpensive is an understatement. Due to staff limitations, I could no longer offer linens. I have NO LINENS. My brochure says prices subject to change at any time. When I tried to charge you $10.00 per linen you were not happy and so I honored $8.00 per linens. But I took a huge loss on that. But, in order to make YOU and YOUR DAY SPECIAL, I overlooked that. I was not made aware you wanted linens until 2 weeks prior to your event. I tried to explain we didn't do them anymore because of the cost. But I did give them to you. You paid $132.00 and I was charge over 300.00 for the linens. So I did meet your request. Also, my son passed away 1 week before your event and my other son works at the venue. You wanted chairs moved from the ceremony in the same room to the tables and that is NOT a service I agreed to nor do I provide that. We make that perfectly clear to every couple. Honestly, I believe we went above and beyond to accommodate your needs. Plus you were given a HUGE discount. I am sorry if the event planner promised something I don't provide. No one consulted me until after the fact that this was discussed between you two.
