    I Love Being The Wedding Planner At The Bushnell

    I am thrilled to be the recommended and approved wedding planner for The Bushnell Event Center. Lisa and I work so well together! She gets the bookings done and then I handle all of the details. The flexibility and price of this place cannot be beat! Plus it is an absolutely beautiful, sleek modern space!

    Great Venue

    We had our daughters wedding at the Bushnell and everything was great! Lisa was amazing and great to work with. It was so nice having the wedding & reception all at one venue and made it so convenient for all of the out of state guests staying at the Marriott.

    Awesome Location in Springfield!

    Bushnell Banquet Center is a great place for your wedding in Springfield! The service is amazing, especially working with Lisa Behr on booking, vendors, and all the details! I held my wedding at the Bushnell in April 2015 using the largest room for my ceremony and reception and the cellar for my cocktail hour. You can transform the rooms into so many different themes and the building naturally lends itself as a beautiful backdrop. Don’t pass up this awesome venue!

    I had The best experience having my wedding here.

    Beautiful venue for all types of wedding themes. Great prices and great staff. I highly recommend the Bushnell Banquet Center for weddings and receptions!!

    The State Theatre was my venue and everyone spoke about how beautiful it was. You are given a lot of freedom to decorate and they do a pretty good job of accommodating you. They clean up after and will work with you. Very flexible and always responsive to my questions and needs. It is definitely hard to find a place that will compare for this price.

    They have many options you can can use including a decor closet in which you can use what you want! They clean up after as well...

    Downsides are the main building isn't as nice as you would expect from the brouchure.

    Covid venue cancellation

    We had to cancel our wedding due to covid and I tried to ask for the deposit back since times were tough and we didn’t know the future of how our wedding would go and when it would happen and the bushnell refused to give our deposit back. Yes only 250$ but that’s $250 we were getting due to not working!
