Best. Decision. Ever.

I can't believe I ever asked myself, "Do I really need a wedding coordinator?" The answer was YES, I did. And YES, you do too. The team at BBO was absolutely amazing to work with. I hired them to handle not only my month-of coordination, but also my floral design, table decor and DJ. My wedding was gorgeous and everything went over perfectly, without a hitch. On the front end of the planning phase, Sharon and Kourtney were a joy to work with. They spent hours with me going over every second of the day, getting to know me and my vision for what our wedding would look like. Sharon is extremely knowledgable and was happy to answer any of my questions about proper wedding etiquette, but also encouraged me to do things the way *I* wanted. I left my consultation feeling 100 pounds lighter, because I knew BBO had me covered. Once the day arrived, we were assigned Nancy as our day-of coordinator. My entire family agrees that Nancy was a gift sent straight to us from Heaven. When I say I did not worry about a SINGLE detail on my wedding day, I mean it and I have Nancy to thank for that. She executed the day perfectly, and solved small issues before they could ever become big issues. She gave me space to enjoy getting ready and mingle with my guests, but was always at my side in an instant if I needed anything at all.

I cannot sing enough high praises about Bumble Bee Occasions. I booked them at the recommendation of a dear friend and bridesmaid, and it's the best decision I could have made. If you're like me and thinking you could maybe pull off your wedding without any help, please save yourself the headache. Hire BBO. You will be so glad you did.

Wow! This should be called busy bee!!

I am the mother of the bride and last night our dream wedding for our daughter came to fruition!! It was wonderful! Sharon and Nancy were so fun and helpful making sure all our questions were answered and nothing was too small of a detail to question. From our first meeting to the long conversations in their offices which included power points and computer footage of all our requests. Sometimes these meetings would go on for hours and yet both Nancy and Sharon never made us feel rushed. Bumble bee did the whole wedding from table decor to floral to the food and cake and it was all exquisite! Calming and efficient is how I’d describe this dream team. They also worked so well with our coordinator from the venue we had reserved. The bouquets that Nancy made for my South African daughter was breathtaking! King protea our favorite south African flowers, they used these after telling them how important it was to include her heritage!
Highly recommend this company our guests raved about the food and decor!

They are the best!!

These ladies made my dreams come true with my flowers and table tops. I could not be happier with how everything turned out. The quality of their service is top notch and they go above and beyond to make your day so special! Highly recommend!

Can't Recommend Enough

Bumble Bee Occasions went above and beyond for my wedding from the moment I reached out to my wedding day. I truly could not have pulled it off without them. I planned my own wedding and probably shouldn't have, but they made sure everything went according to plan and allowed me to relax day-of. Not to mention, their prices are impossible to compete with and everything from the food to the florals were perfect. I owe everything to Kourtney and Nancy!

Words Cannot Describe

I have to say that this vendor blew me away! Nancy rocked the whole thing. She was literally the best human being ever and took such good care of me. Everyone was so impressed with her and BBO and how beautiful everything came out. They did the floral (my bouquet was GORGEOUS!) I was so in love with it! They did the decor, planning, and catering (which everyone loved). I highly recommend this team for planing your perfect wedding!

Such a great vendor!!

My Dream Wedding

Bumble Bee provided me a day that was beyond my wildest dreams. From the food to the cake to the coordination to the flowers to the decorations! They did it all. I cannot be more pleased and my husband and I can't stop talking about how amazing the day truly was. Wouldn't have happened without this amazing company. I will use them for all my big events from here on out!

Excellent Turn Key Service!

Megan at Bumble Bee did my daughter's wedding at Clark Gardens. It went flawlessly without a hitch. As a parent, value and service are important. Megan delivered. Everything was explained in advance and they were responsive to changes that came up. Excellent communications and they handled everything that came up along the way. I would highly recommend Bumble Bee and specifically Megan Peterson. She will not disappoint you!

If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn’t change a thing! I’d have Bumble Bee as my one-stop wedding partner again and again and again! We used Bumble Bee Catering for our daughters wedding for the meal and the cake and cake balls, the food was good especially the honey pecan chicken. The cake was beautiful and absolutely delicious; we had 3 different flavors and they were all great! The kids devoured the cake balls in no time at all. They were very professional and got there in plenty of time to set everything up and serve our guests and clean up before they left. They provided everything we needed to make our special day great. Megan was great to work with and she made sure everything was taken care of and exactly how we wanted everything to take place. They were all so accommodating and made my job a lot easier as mother of the bride! Please consider them for your next event, you won’t be disappointed.

Meghan was amazing! She was so helpful and flexible with any changes we made during our planning. She helped us pick the perfect selections and made changes to pricing to accommodate our small wedding party. The food was amazing!
We also had them do flower arrangements and center pieces for us and they turned out so beautifully.

I loved working with Bumblebee. Megan was amazing to work with prior and up to the day of the wedding. My wedding was perfect and stress free. And a lot of that is due to Bumblebee. I highly recommend them!

We are so grateful for Bumble Bee! My husband and I got married January 19th, 2018 and used B.B. catering/food services. They made our wedding day so easy! They staff set up the buffet and appetizers which everyone loved. They cleaned up quickly and made sure everyone had enough to drink. They wore a professional matching attire and looked great. Megan made it so easy to pick what we wanted and made sure everything was in order. They are so easy to work with and very flexible! Thank you!!

I got to work with Jerry and Sharon, but mostly Megan, and it was all a dream. We hired them for our florals, catering, cakes, and day-of-coordination.

I told them our budget, thinking we would have a bare wedding, and they completely blew me away with what we could do with our pennies.

The food (brown-sugar crusted pork tenderloin with a vegetarian option of a stuffed portobello mushroom) was amazing. I even had a last minute increase in guest count, and they were able to accommodate the change. I have received nothing but compliments on the food--and plenty of people who were not vegetarians ordered and enjoyed that option.

The florals. Wow. Sharon really took my inspiration pages I gave her (printed photos from Pinterest with notes on what I liked about each photo) and brought my dream to life. She also helped to educate me on resourceful ways to accomplish the look I was wanting.

And Megan. Megan worked with me throughout the whole process. She was wonderfully organized and prompt in responding, and flexible with me when Bride Brain set-in. She even listened to me tear up and get off topic when I was stressed. Furthermore, she paid attention to who was important to me during the day of, and ensured they were taken care of as well. I will recommend Megan forever, for I know she did more for me than I will ever know.

We also got our cakes through them by way of Sinsational Cakes by Yaya. Again, they perfectly executed my vision for my simple cake and on the day of, it was tasty.

This team was wonderful. I was skeptic to have to drive out to Azle for meetings, but looking back, it was the best decision I made. Hire these folks for your wedding and never look back!

Holy moly I don't know what we would have done without Bumble Bee! It was incredible to have a "one-stop-shop" type place that works with you to make your day stress-free and smooth. If you do not have a "day-of coordinator" I HIGHLY recommend adding this to your package. Sharon was amazing and took care of everything. They were very accommodating as I was planning the wedding from afar. The wait staff was great, and the decor was beautiful! They had the place cleaned up and organized in no time at all.

A couples wedding day can be and should be one of the best days of their life involving family and friends. Making this a reality can be challenging and often stressful during the different planning stages. The family at Bumble Bee, (yes "Family" because that is exactly how they will make you feel), will ensure your wedding experience is one to remember for you and your loved ones. From their catering services to the planning and execution Bumble Bee earns Five Stars all around. We would like to thank Sarah for the amazing job she did bringing our floral decoration ideas to life. She was extremely patient and positive ensuring us every step of the way that the floral decorations would look great but also guiding us to make sure we were making good choices. The day of the wedding all the floral decorations were stunning and made for great pictures :-). Also, we absolutely must thank Sharon for the amazing work planning our big day ! Sharon became family for us throughout the planning process, always with a great spirit and eager to work with us ! From arranging tables to coordinating the rehearsal and even helping with bride dress we can't thank her enough for making of our wedding day the most amazing day we could have wished for ! I highly recommend Bumblebee Occasions to help make your special day so magical! The staff went above and beyond to make sure every detail was taken care of. I didn't have to worry about one single thing all night. My parents loved that they didn't have to do anything as well. At one point, I needed another glass of wine, and the staff was so quick to get me exactly what I needed. Also, a couple weeks before, I decided to change my flowers for my center pieces to more so match my bouquet, and it wasn't a problem at all, and it looked absolutely stunning!

Bumblebee is a great company that does it all! We got the pleasure of working with Sharon, we told her what we wanted and she nailed it! She helped me with the details I forgot about, and ensured we had the most beautiful day despite weather circumstances. Her whole team is very professional. Bumblebee Occasions really blew us away! We had a bit of concern from our tasting that the food would not live up to expectations, but we didn't hear a single complaint! And everything was beyond what we imagined. Cathy did an amazing job with our floral and decor, and even managed to make a few extra arrangements for us on the day of with spare flowers. My bouquet was gorgeous. All the moms loved their wristlets and my flower girl enjoyed her basket! The reception room looked amazing also. I couldn't ask for more.

I am SO unbelievably thankful for Ansley and the whole Bumble Bee staff. They made my wedding truly magical. I would not have been able to pull it all off with out them. Definitely book with Bumble Bee! They were phenomenal! So accommodating, listened to every word I said when it came to the vision of my wedding! They were always on top of things, never missed any detail, even down to the wedding day its self, they made sure me and my husband kept checking on us and kept everything on time, and the flowing! We used BumbleBee Occasions for our wedding cake, food, bartending, invitations, flowers and day of coordination. They truly did a fantastic job and made everything come together perfectly for our wedding day! The flowers were absolutely beautiful, my wedding cake was exactly what I wanted and the food was delicious! The strawberry cake was AMAZING and they have even won a big award for it :) Everyone was so pleasant to work with and with the business being family-owned and on the small side, they really paid attention to detail and truly cared about making our day exactly what we wanted. Sharon was my day of coordinator and she did an amazing job! Nothing went wrong from what I could see and it was the wedding of my dreams! I would HIGHLY recommend Bumblebee, they are a one-stop shop that can take care of everything for you!

Absolutely loved everything about bumblebee occasions! This place literally is your one stop wedding shop!! Bumble Bee Occasions helped me plan and coordinate my entire wedding, also setting up and cleaning up everything at the end of the night. The food, floral, décor, cake, and bartending were also the services we used. They were wonderful at all the above, and I enjoyed working with them!! Their staff is extremely personable and that always makes for better assistance!! They were super helpful, and they were there any time or for anything that I needed, and had extremely quick responses at that. I can't say enough good things about Bumble Bee! We hired Bumble Bee about halfway through the wedding planning process to help us fill in all the missing pieces. Since they are a "one stop shop" for services, they provided our linens, custom cheese trays for each table with assorted fruits, breads and nuts for cocktail hour, bartenders, a clean-up crew, some decorations and day-of coordinating. Jessica did a fantastic job running the show at the rehearsal and on the day of the wedding. She was constantly checking on me and my family to make sure we had everything we needed. She kept things right on schedule without having to be mean! I was so grateful to have here there on the wedding day. I have heard from multiple family members and people in the wedding party that she was great! And Cathy, the owner of Bumble Bee, is just about the sweetest lady you could ever meet. She was also present on the wedding day and made sure we felt comfortable with EVERYTHING throughout the planning process. The staff was professional. Everything was on time. Working with Bumble Bee was the best decision we made, hands down, planning my wedding. I have already recommended them to two of my bride friends.

Thanks in large part to Bumble Bee Occasions, I would describe our wedding day as "just perfect". Cathy and her team coordinated all the details so that I was able to enjoy the day without stress or worry. I was also very pleased with the beautiful decorations, flowers, and linens. We have had many compliments from guests regarding the delicious brisket meal. During our cake testing, we liked so many of the wonderful flavors we couldn't decide which single one to choose so we decided to make each layer a different flavor. That was a huge success with our guests! We booked the DJ, Aaron, through Bumble Bee, and would highly recommend him. He did an excellent job of playing our song requests and making the evening fun for all ages while making all the introductions needed to keep the night running smoothly. Finally, here is an example of how Cathy made our wedding day special by paying attention to details. She noticed that my eighty-six year old granddaddy needed help going through the buffet line. She was right there to carry his plate for him. With almost two hundred guests she still saw that need. That meant a lot to my family, and we think it says a great deal about the type of service you will receive from Bumble Bee Occasions.

Bumble Bee Occasions was amazing! We used Bumble Bee for catering, bar tending, decorations, linens, photo booth, floral for reception, and day of coordinator...and I must say their service was the most well spent money on our wedding! Cathy was my day of coordinator and I could not of asked for a better coordinator to help my day go smoothly....she even helped me put my shoes back on after playing the "shoe game"! :) I also ran into a bit of an issue with the first DJ I booked for my wedding and two weeks away I found out that DJ was a flake and Cathy and everyone at Bumble Bee did everything to help us find a solution and a new DJ for the wedding. I ended up finding an amazing DJ from another wedding I attended, but Bumble Bee went above and beyond with helping us in ANYTHING we needed. First of all.. I can't even begin to thank Cathy and the entire Bumble Bee Occasions team for the work they did for our wedding. The entire team is professional, hard working, and extremely kind. We met Bumble Bee's at an open house for our venue. They are right next door to the venue, The Orchard. My fiance' at the time joined me in a consultation where we discussed all of the options that Bumble Bee's offered. I will say that initially, we were overloaded, and thankfully were able to go home and think through things. It is hard making the budget initially, and making tough decisions. We got our initial quote, and Bumble Bee's worked with us to make our changes as we desired. We then came back for a tasting of dinner and cakes! We loved the customer service and warm welcome that we always were given. What we got through Bumble Bee's: Flowers, cakes, linens, day of coordinating, and catering food. At that time of tasting, we had already fallen in love with Creative Cakes by Monica, and later found out that she was no longer the baker they were using. We were thankful that we were allowed to continue using Monica, as she was our dream baker! We corresponded with Missy & Cathy through e-mails, meeting for floral day, and many phone calls. Missy was available for our rehearsal, and helped guide the process. On the wedding day, Bumble Bee's went above & beyond to make our day perfect. When I saw how they decorated, arranged the flowers, and the overall appearance, I cried. It was perfect. Bumble Bee's was always an email or call away during the whole process, and I would recommend them over anyone. I am sad that our relationship has ended, as I enjoyed working with them so much. The "busy bees", or workers during the wedding also were amazing. Very professional, helpful, and knew what they were doing. I loved having the day of coordinator, as it eased so much stress on my part. The food was amazing, we chose fajitas. Everyone raved about how amazing the food was. Corn tortillas were even provided for a gluten free family member. Thank you Bumble Bee's for making our day perfect!

I cannot tell you what a joy it was to work with Cathy and Missy and everyone at Bumble Bee Occasions. They created a spectacular day for my husband and me. Most people say the wedding planning experience is stressfull and the day goes by so fast but I couldn't have had a more different experience. The whole process of planning the wedding and execution was seamless with Bumble Bee Occasions. The staff is amazing and provides great service. I cannot say enough good things about Bumble Bee Occasions. I hired them for my wedding catering and coordinating and was beyond thrilled with how their services! First off, they are very affordable. Everything that Bumble Bee Occasions did for us was wonderful! The flowers were very important to me and so going to the flower wholesaler to pick the flowers was a definite highlight because I was able to pick beautiful and unique flowers that worked with my style. The food was delicious, the event space was flawlessly decorated. I can't keep count how many comments we have received from guests since the wedding about how everything was well done! They've commented on the food, that it was hot and fresh tasting; we had a (italian creme) cake and the cake was moist and perfectly balanced flavor. We did a pie station instead of a grooms cake that was a HUGE hit with our guests!

Sharon & Missy were great to work with and made decorating my venue a breeze. I brought them inspirations pictures from the web and they brought my ideas to life. The centerpieces were beautiful and everything was packaged so all that I had to do was remove from the box and place on the table! Our experience with Bumble Bee Occasions was excellent! We were very pleased with the work Sharon and Megan did to prepare for the Big Day- the meetings were efficient and thorough, and they covered everything in such detail I was not worried about anything by the time our wedding day came around. The food was delicious, the cakes were beautiful and delicious, and the service was excellent! We're so glad the bees were there to take care of our guests. Set up and tear down went smoothly, and the reception hall looked exactly like I envisioned! Bumble Bee helped us set up the DJ and videographer and both of those vendors were professional, on time, and did a great job! The FLOWERS! Flowers were probably the most important thing to me, and Bumble Bee came through in a big way... they were so BEAUTIFUL and I loved them!! Bumble Bee made our wedding planning stress free and our wedding day so memorable! Highly recommend!

Bumble Bee Occasions is what made my wedding come together! I used them for my flowers, decor and day of wedding planners/put up & take down. They were fantastic! During our meetings they were honest and clear with what they can do and what might not look good together. I love the fact that they take you to the flower wholesales and you see exactly what you're getting the day of your wedding. They gave me everything I wanted and more! I had printed out a few photos of what I liked and told them what I wanted. When I showed up to the venue I was blown away. They took my idea and made it better! They were also there for me. Checking in on me and seeing if I needed anything. I am very pleased that we chose Bumble Bee for my daughter's wedding. The most valuable service they provide, in my opinion, is the wedding day coordination. As the wedding hour drew near, things became very hectic and it was so relaxing to turn it all over to Bumble Bee! I don't know how we would have managed without our coordinator, Cathy, taking the reins and guiding the ceremony to a smooth and lovely conclusion. Bumble Bee, can and will provide almost any service you may need for a beautiful wedding and best of all they will stand behind their work!

Got compliments on the food all night long and even after the wedding day! My wedding was late evening so I did not have a full course meal. I had light sandwiches, cheese and crackers, fruit, and teas water and lemonade. It filled everyone up and was in my budget! The sandwiches were served very elegantly and were no ordinary sandwiches! Very delicious and beautifully presented!

Everything was perfect! We were very happy with the floral, catering, DJ service, and the cupcakes were out of this world. The wait staff and bar tender at our wedding were friendly and did a wonderful job.

Bubblebee did both the rehearsal dinner and reception for my son and daughter-in-law's wedding. They were great to work with! Since the wedding was not geographically close to either set of parents, it was a relief to know everything was taken care of by an experienced business. We are very pleased with the service we received.

There was 3 months from engagement to wedding day, and I NEEDED a place like this to help with the planning. They seriously had everything we needed all in one place. In the end, I could not have went with a better service for my wedding. Now, that said, there were a few things that I wish would change for even better service for future brides. We were required to sign a food contract with them before we were able to taste the food that would be offered. We were only able to go off of their word, and word of other clients about the quality and taste of their food. I wish we were able to have a tasting PRIOR to signing a contract for feeding the entire wedding guest list. Same with the wedding cake. We decided to go with another cake company to which we were able to taste before ordering. I was super happy with the cake we ordered, and had confidence that it was going to be delicious for my guests. We did use the floral at Bumble Bee and she was amazing! Very happy with my flowers, and she had awesome ideas for center pieces. I also used the photographer, and she was super super nice! Love Leisha! She kicked her butt to be the best she could be, and I love her for that - she has a tough job! Although, there were a few pictures I wish we would have got. I did not get a picture with just me and the ring bearer or flower girls, nor did my husband. We also didn't get very many with the wedding party all together. We used the Day Of Planner, who was there to coordinate and make sure people were in their right spots - which was super helpful! Although, the grandparents were not ushered down as we had discussed. After the wedding, a guest told me that her chicken was frozen in the middle and chose not to eat the meal. Super disappointing, and not sure who else, if any, had this experience. Also, shout out to Megan who works here- she is AWESOME! and knows how to not step on the brides toes! very sweet, helpful and understanding and knows how to listen to the bride.

Everyone at the wedding loved the food. The presentation of the food was beautiful and it was wonderful to work with everyone from bumble bee. Choosing Bumble Bee to cater my wedding was the best choice I could have made. They are also very helpful and know what they are talking about.

The flowers were just beautiful. That was my most favorite of all things. Our wedding planner had quit or let go just a few days before the wedding and there was some miscommunication between us but all in all in turned out wonderful. They are very sweet and easy to work with.

We LOVED Bumblebee. They are a one stop shop for weddings. They do it all & they communicate with you every step of the way. The food was great & the flowers were BEAUTIFUL! The only reason we are giving them a 4.5 instead of a full 5.0 is because of the cake. The brides cake was delicious but the grooms cake was very dry (according to our guests - I personally did not have any of the grooms cake). Other than that, they were perfect. Cathy was our day of coordinator & she was wonderful. She kept us stress free so we could just enjoy our special day :)

Bumble Bee was a pleasure to work with and very helpful. Their coordinator, Cathy Dill was awesome and extremely helpful throughout the process. As was Ansley in the beginning of our relationship. Sharon and Jerry are very customer focused. Our event was handled very well despite a few things that I should have confirmed with them in advance the week prior. But all in all, they were great and I would highly recommend and use them again.

I really enjoyed our experience with Bumblee Bee Ocassions. They were very helpful during the rehearsal and on the day of! They helped to create a timeline of events for the day and ensured that the events happened at the appropriate times. My only complaint is the number of different coordinators we were assigned throughout the process. I think by the end of it I had worked with 4 different people and had to re-explain our wedding each time. I think it all would have been more cohesive if we had worked with the same coordinator from start to finish. But I am happy that we ended up having Ansley on the day of as she did a great job keeping everything together.

Missy at Bumble Bee Occasions was very professional, she had lots of great ideas and was willing to be flexible when scheduling meeting times to go over details of the catering for our day. I recommend Bumble Bee to any bride! Excellent one-stop-shop. These ladies are very helpful when it comes to day-of planning. Let them take over the stressful stuff, and just enjoy your day. The food was absolutely delicious, and the waitstaff are very quick and professional. I almost forgot they were there!

The bartender was very friendly, but kept serving the wrong beverages. When someone asked for a hefeweisen, they often got a Michelob Ultra, or a cider. Regardless, all of the drinks were delicious, so very few complaints there. That's definitely one of the perks of Bumble Bee, is being able to bring in your own beverages. You can save a lot of money, and get a fun variety that way. We brought in wine from our favorite winery in McKinney.

I was a little disappointed in my flowers, I picked out bright red, white, and ivory flowers to go with my "Memorial Day"' red, white, and blue theme. The flowers were mostly shades of yellow and orange, with a few red and coral ones in the mix. They worked out fine. It rained most of the day, but as a bride, there is nothing you can do. Just remember "Hakuna Matata", it means no worries. This day is about you marrying the love of your life. Just have fun, and go with it! The little things (like the flowers) are things only YOU will ever notice.

Bumblebee was very helpful on the day of- Cathy was a superb wedding planner and she helped pull the day off wonderfully. The food was good, the cake was the "best wedding cake I've ever had" (said by so many guests), and the flowers were unbelievable. I was so happy with the way it all looked.

That being said, I'm a busy MD and I employed Bumblebee in order to make wedding planning easier. I came to them for ideas and without much planned, which is not what they're expecting- there's a spreadsheet that we couldn't veer off from much that first meeting. I'm sure in the long run it did make wedding planning easier, but they had specific schedules which don't quite work when you're a professional, and when a wedding can't be your first priority (my marriage is, but not my wedding). The first girl I met with seemed to have a hard time thinking outside the box, but Cathy was adaptable and positive and helpful. Plus, there are several things we did ourselves because some of the prices were a bit high. All in all, I'd recommend them highly, just have all your ideas already plannned, well thought through, and have hours during the business day to meet with them!

We had to move some things around at my wedding because the food wasn't there on time. The coordinator did a good job of taking care of that.

Overall Bumble Bee was great to work with. For a bride who did most of the planning herself, it was nice to have a one-stop-shop to have help. The girls are very welcoming and certainly make you feel at home when you walk in their door.

Some concerns I have/had:
The day of coordinating was a pretty chaotic because it rained on my wedding day. It took a long time for my wedding party to get umbrellas from the coordinators.
I paid for food for over 200 people, 150 people attended, and half of our wedding party never got food? Including my parents. If you order catering through Bumble Bee - keep in mind, they only allow the buffet/food stations to sit out for around 2 hours and then they take it all up. So if you don't go get food within that window..you don't eat. And that's what happened. We went to take pictures and by the time we came into the reception, the food was gone.

Apart from all of this, my wedding day was the best day of my life. There is always something to critique. But at the end of the day my husband and I are married and we couldn't be happier.
