The perfect wedding venue

Nappi and the Bull run staff was amazing. Prior to the wedding day Nappi communicated with everyone so we were all on the same page and that everything would go smoothly the day of. Getting ready at the venue she was above and beyond. She checked in with us at the right times asked us if we needed anything. She provided towels and water and fans in our get ready room. Even offered champagne. They made sure our wedding ran exactly the way we wanted. My family and friends had told me that the venue was the most beautiful venues they have been too and the staff was so nice. Bartenders and all!! If you are looking for a venue for a wedding or even a special event pick bull run it will not disappoint!!

Quality Care

Nappi was beyond helpful from start to finish. Both sets of parents need accommodations. She did not bat an eye and truly worked with us to find the best way to support them. She anticipated needs, asked great questions to help process/ explore options and was genuinely kind. The venue was warm and welcoming! Highly recommend this beautiful setting with great staff!

The perfect experience

We got married at Bull Run Golf Club in October, and it was the perfect venue. Nappi, with Bull Run is an absolute saint. She made everything go so smoothly, and was always available to help with any concerns. The venue is beautiful, the staff is amazing. We can’t say enough good things

Excellent venue and friendly staff.

Beautiful settings for any occasion, the venue was a perfect fit. Best part was working with Nappi. She was professional, flexible and through. On the day, Nappi was a bundle of energy going way beyond to ensure all that was promised was delivered, and more. Will highly recommend the venue, especially for the special service from Nappi.

Amazing ceremony and reception!!

Bull Run Golf Club is a great place to have a wedding reception and ceremony. I like how they don't require certain vendors but have a list of recommended vendors. I was not worried day of about rain because they do have an indoor space as well. And I was at ease because of Nappi. Nappi is an amazing venue manager. She is detailed, easy to work with, and passionate. The space itself is perfect for the size wedding (60 people) but could definitely fit more people and still have a decent dance floor. I 1000% recommend this venue. It's a stunning spot and felt very private

Amazing venue

I don’t even know where to start! This venue was just perfect. The beautiful views, the serenity of the space, the reception hall, it was all amazing. When we first pulled into the lot, we saw all the mountains and rolling hills and fell in love with it already! And Nappi, the wedding coordinator at Bull Run, was the best! She went out of her way to accommodate us- she let us come earlier in the day to set up and decorate, she was very responsive, had the tables/chairs set up the night before, and was awesome at directing us during the rehearsal and ceremony. She is a big reason why our wedding went so smoothly! There was a beautiful pond by the ceremony area and a cute winding pathway leading to the trellis which came out so nice in our photos. The reception hall has a lot of windows and feels so welcoming. We were worried the dance floor would be a bit small, but turns out it was the perfect size for us. We really feel lucky we found this place and the value was great! I would definitely recommend this venue!!

May Wedding

We absolutely loved having our wedding here this past weekend. The venue was absolutely stunning and we had so many guests come up to us to tell us how beautiful everything was. The coordinator at Bull Run as well as everyone working the bar were phenomenal and we’re so attentive to everything we could’ve asked for. Would 100% recommend this venue for anyone looking for a wedding venue!!

Beautiful venue and a great cost

We recently had our reception at Bull Run Golf Club. From planning to the actual wedding day, the staff worked with us to turn our dream day become a reality. They were extremely responsive and answered all questions that I had. The back patio was perfect for cocktail hour and the indoor reception hall was stunning. The team at Bull Run was professional, helpful, and kind as they made suggestions and set up the space for us. Our guests loved the giant newly renovated bar and hardwood floors. We received so many compliments and comments about how beautiful the venue was. I highly recommend Bull Run for your future wedding!

Highly Recommend!

Our experience with Bull Run Golf Club, Courtney in particular, was phenomenal. We recently hosted our wedding here and everything was perfect thanks to Courtney. Courtney was available throughout our entire wedding planning process to answer any questions, take measurements, etc. I am one who loves to be in control, but on our wedding day I was confident in Courtney and I knew Courtney would handle everything! She exceeded my expectations. 5 stars is not enough for Courtney and the venue. I highly recommend choosing Bull Run Golf Club for your event. Courtney knows her stuff and will not disappoint you.

Perfect wedding venue!

We absolutely loved working with Courtney and the rest of the staff, and getting to use Bull Run Golf Club as our wedding venue! Courtney was so sweet, kind, helpful and patient with us through every step of the planning process (she answered every question, whether it be through call, text or email, very timely!), and on the day of, she so calmly made the whole wedding run smoothly. We were in awe at how beautiful the golf club looked on the day of our wedding all thanks to the hard work the staff put in to make it look so presentable.

We cannot say enough good things about Courtney and Bull Run Golf Club. Our experience leading up to the wedding was so pleasant and easy, and the day of was beautiful and fun and simply amazing. We will always treasure our time there and cannot recommend this venue highly enough.

Excellent Experience

I'm a vendor and I recently worked a wedding at Bull Run Golf Club in Haymarket, VA. I met with Courtney the Sales and Events Director prior to the wedding to ensure everything would flow smoothly. I've worked at many wedding venues and the staff at Bull Run Golf Club are top notch. They will ensure the bride and groom have all the support they need to enjoy their special day. Courtney did an excellent job managing the multiple vendors on-site to include her own staff. I highly recommend Bull Run Golf Club to any couple looking for a beautiful venue with a great staff in the NoVA area.

Above and Beyond

Bull Run Gold Club was absolutely amazing. The wedding coordinator, Courtney,went above and beyond her duty and made our wedding day absolutely perfect. She made the whole wedding planning experience easy even through the pandemic. The day before the wedding I dropped off all my decorations and she made the club look absolutely beautiful the day of! The Club itself is very rustic with a beautiful backdrop of the blue ridge mountains. We loved Bull Run and recommend it to anyone getting married in NOVA.

Great venue!

Everyone I know warned me that something will ALWAYS go wrong on your wedding day... but not mine! Courtney did such an amazing job making sure everything went smoothly! She went above and beyond to ensure that the day went perfectly. The venue was beautiful, the guests loved the ceremony area.. It is also a perfect place for amazing wedding pictures!
Courtney made the whole thing very easy for me and accommodate all our needs. I loved that Bull Run Golf Club included almost everything (tables/chairs, lines, glassware, plates, catering, alcohol) which made planning so much easier..

Unforgettable Wedding Reception Venue

Bull Run Golf Club was a fantastic venue for our June wedding. The site is beautiful, and the reception hall easily accommodates 150 guests. The patio for the cocktail hour overlooks a small lake and mountains on the gorgeous property. Courtney, the event coordinator, is very attentive to details, and the staff are very friendly. The collaboration with Purple Onion Catering made the venue practically all-inclusive. Between Courtney, Brooke at Purple Onion, and other staff, all questions were answered in a timely fashion. Our time at Bull Run Golf Club for our wedding reception will be always treasured.

I'm getting married at Bull Run Golf Club in October, and I can't wait! My fiance and I checked out quite a few venues, and two things became apparent to me. I needed a beautiful ceremony space and an awesome event coordinator. Bull Run delivers both of those things. Their ceremony space under the pergola is gorgeous, their rain plan isn't bad at all, and Katie Noble is amazing! My fiance and I are paying for the wedding ourselves, and she has been so great in working to give us what we want at a price we can afford. The whole experience has been great so far, and I know our wedding will be wonderful!

We are so happy we chose to have our wedding at Bull Run Golf Club! Katie did a fantastic job keeping me stress free through the entire planning process. The room was absolutely fabulous and the outdoor ceremony site is nothing short of amazing. We could not possibly have asked for a better location for our wedding. I knew from the first moment we visited that this would be the location. I honestly started crying as we drove away the first time, it was so beautiful. The food that was made in house was delicious and worked with us to create a perfect brunchy/lunch menu for our guests. I highly recommend this venue!

Bull Run and Katie are the best. Bull Run is not only a stunning venue, but it is also affordable & the staff is on-point. Katie took over as the venue manager a couple months before our wedding, and I cannot say enough about her. She was professional, kind, super helpful/responsive to all our questions, and almost like having a second coordinator. The transition was seamless & perhaps even better! Katie made sure we were well taken care of and had everything we needed they day of our wedding. Bull Run allowed us to use golf carts to go pretty much wherever we wanted to take pictures, and to helped get our grandparents around. They also had a cute bridal suite set up for us to finish getting ready in, which was perfect and spacious. Katie also had a few adorable additions to the reception room like a "cheers" marquee light for the bar, which added just the perfect touches. Overall, we'd say that the view was the best thing, but then the accommodating nature of Bull Run & going out of their way for us on our day was beyond what most venues do for you on your wedding day. Everything Bull Run & Katie did for us were the perfect touches that went beyond what was expect. Our day was beautiful and perfect and we are BEYOND thankful for Bull Run!

I had my wedding here on 4/29/2016. Thankfully the weather cooperated!! If I had to do it all over again, I would still pick Bull Run Golf Club. The venue contacts changed about 3 months before the wedding, and I can tell you I would not have even noticed. Katie picked up right where the previous contact left off with absolute care and professionalism. She was so great to work with. We have had SO many compliments on the venue and the food too! R&R catering is the catering partner, and they were excellent. We went to a few of the caterer tastings at Bull Run so we were able to experience a wide variety before we had to pick our meal plan. The location is gorgeous and they have a private room for the bridal party to get ready in - this helped tremendously to have us all in one location and not have to worry about separate locations! I would highly recommend Bull Run Golf Club!

BRGC was such a beautiful location for my fall wedding. The scenery alone was breathtaking (we also had a perfect weather day, so that helped), but the outdoor ceremony location was beautiful just on it's own. The reception area was nice for our 70 person reception, and I'm sure it could fit plenty more comfortably. The staff was great to work with and very attentive, and also answered my multitude of questions. I had no issues and the day of went very smoothly thanks in part to their staff.

I worked mainly with Brittany from the beginning and I truly enjoyed working with her from the beginning to the end. She was so down to earth and made me feel like everything was going to be ok and everything went ok on my wedding day.
She's very responsive on any requests or questions I had, and was very accommodating of the last minute changes that had to be made while respecting our wishes.

We choose Bull Run for our venue due to how close it was to our home, but it ended up being the perfect choice for so many more reasons. The view of the lake and golf course made a wonderful backdrop for the ceremony and cocktail hour - many of our guests commented on how nice everything looked and how well the venue presented.

The staff was amazing. Our Wedding Coordinator, Brittany, went way above and beyond what any reasonable person should have to do. She helped plate foods, she kept our confused selves in line, and she made up for everything the groomsmen and bridemaids weren't able to handle (which was a lot!) She even argued with the Bride's sisters for us (no easy task) after they started telling people the wrong places to sit. Whenever we needed her for something she was there, and the wedding would not have been the same without her. At one point I was desperately Googling how to properly attach a boutineer using my phone when she appeared out of nowhere and started pinning them on everyone in site. She put up with a lot from the guests and bridal party alike.

We would definitely recommend Bull Run for a wedding. The planning, the all-inclusive package, and the coordination were well worth it.

The actual venue was great!! The price was very competitive with other venues in the general northern VA area. The view was absolutely stunning... the mountains, the colors, the sunset over the mountains, etc. Make sure to add Valarie Moore as your day-of-coordinator if you have your wedding there. She was PHENOMENAL!!! She made everything that much better. I can't rave enough about her.

We were so lucky to have booked Bull Run Golf Club for our wedding. From our initial consultation to our big day, the staff at Bull Run was phenomenal to work with. They were more than just a "day of" venue. They helped with wedding favors, provided the catering, and decorated our venue to perfection.

We used the catering provided by Bull Run and the food was delicious (I wish I could recommend them for events that are NOT held at Bull Run they were that great). We were given almost complete control designing our menu and the standard answer we were given with any question was "sure, we can do that".

We used the onsite Wedding Coordinator, Valarie. She was AMAZING and worth every penny. She helped with every element from the very beginning including walking us though the big day, assisting with developing the menu, coordinating all deliveries, keeping us on schedule and most importantly embracing our wedding theme and bringing it all together.

Everything about Bull Run was wonderful and I 100% recommend them for YOUR special day.

The Bull Run Golf and Country Club is an excellent venue for your special event! The Staff was outstanding giving suggestions and recommendations every step of the way! Also, the Staff was very responsive and attentive to my needs, they catered to my every wim! I am a mother of three daughters and this was our first wedding. Being rookies, we can't believe our luck in finding such an excellent venue. So many of my friends and family have told me this is the best wedding they ever attended. The building and grounds were superb for our 150 people event. The wedding was by the pond, the cocktail hour was on the patio which we covered with a tent for shade and attractiveness and the dinner and dancing were in the ball room. It was so nice because guests could move freely amongst the outdoor and indoor space throughout the evening. The stone fireplace, the mountain backdrop and the lush grounds make for a perfect setting. The staff was totally responsive and knowledgeable. Their wedding planner was better than top-notch. You gotta go with Valerie! Love, love, love Bull Run Golf Club!

If you are looking for a beautiful venue with unmatched service at an affordable price, Bull Run is the place to go. Bull Run is truly a hidden gem for wedding venues in the DC area. The staff is absolutely amazing; they worked extremely hard to make our event perfect. We looked at venues from Charlottesville to DC and none matched the scenery and service.

Bull Run’s property in Haymarket looks out over stunning foothill mountains. We got married at their outdoor location which has a beautiful, rustic arbor overlooking a small lake and the mountains. They have an indoor location in case of inclement weather, which was has a gorgeous giant stone fireplace and huge picture windows looking at the same view.

The staff was extremely flexible. Their goal seems to be to try and do whatever made us happy. They even provided a wedding coordinator (Valerie) at no additional cost.. Melinda (Bull Run’s food & beverage mgr.) and Valerie spent several long nights before our wedding going over the menu selections and helping to plan all of the elements for the actual wedding day. No detail seemed too small to them.

On the day of our wedding, the food was absolutely outstanding. They have the option of either a plated dinner or buffet; we chose buffet. Many of our guests at the wedding commented on how good the food was, and we couldn't agree more. The chef added one of our favorite foods to the offerings, even though it was not one of their standard offerings.

Additionally, Valerie's day of coordination was amazing. She did a fantastic job making sure all the decorations were set up properly, the timing of the day went smoothly, and solving all problems as they arose. We could have never imagined that our wedding day would be so beautiful, perfectly coordinated, and stress free.

Bull Run provided more than we ever thought we would get out of a wedding venue. Take the time to visit Bull Run; you will be extremely glad you did.

I am an avid golfer and my wife knew that I was secretly hoping we would find a golf course at which to get married. After seeing the price tags associated with hotels in the area, we decided to explore caterers and found R&R Catering. They are the main caterer for Bull Run, so we decided to check out the venue. She walked behind the club house at Bull Run and, upon seeing the view, said, "This is it." We put a deposit down that day.

David and the staff were fantastic to deal with even with the minute details about which we inquired. It is a must to hire Valerie as a coordinator. She was direct, polite, and organized beyond belief. She pointed, we went, and it worked seamlessly. We laughed at the end because after everyone told us there would be hiccups throughout the night and to roll with it, we cannot remember a single one and it was due to Valerie, Melinda, and the staff. Their attention, attitude, and service was impeccable and they arranged and took care of details of which we would have never thought.

Our entire experience was memorable and we will certainly look back on the day with nothing but smiles and laughter.

We had our ceremony and reception at Bull Run Golf Club on June 14, 2014. We couldn't have had a more perfect day. Melinda and Brittany were our coordinators and they were absolutely AMAZING before and during the wedding!!! They always made sure that my husband and I were taken care of and had everything under control, even when we had issues with the shuttles at the end of the night. They even brought the wedding party food and drinks while we were taking pictures on the golf course since we couldn't attend the cocktail hour! I would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a beautiful country club wedding!

David was SUPER helpful getting everything put together. He was also on top of everything, making sure that what we needed was done and there was nothing to worry about. Unfortunately, David was out of town the day of the wedding (which we were informed) and Melinda was now in charge. Melinda was also on the ball with everything that we needed and asked for, even the last minute things that we sprung on her literally an hour before the wedding! I would HIGHLY recommend this golf course to ANYONE! It is amazing to look at and amazing to work with!!

My husband and I just had our wedding at Bull Run Golf Club and could not have had a more perfect experience! The staff is absolutely wonderful - they do everything they can to ensure that the days leading up to your event, and the day of your event go as smoothly as possible. They're laid back enough to help keep you calm, but totally on the ball when something goes wrong. The shuttle bus we had for our guests was a no-show, so in a matter of minutes, the staff was on the phone calling local cabs to help get guests home. Beyond that, our cake was a complete mess and they took it upon themselves during our ceremony to fix it! They went above and beyond to make our day perfect and we couldn't be more thankful!!

We had our daughter's wedding at Bull Run Golf Club in December. David and the rest of the staff were very accommodating & flexible. The weather was almost 70 degrees that day & we were able to open the doors to the veranda & the guest were able to enjoy the beautiful views. The setting was perfect. The value was great. I would highly recommend it to everyone.

Bull Run was an absolute PERFECT wedding venue. They are a great value compared to other local venues and they have the space to accommodate a large wedding. Our ceremony was out on the back patio, because it had rained all week and they were able to get a tent arranged the day before our wedding. The reception was inside the downstairs ballroom and it was STUNNING! We could not be happier with how our special day turned out, we forgot that is was even raining out! Melinda and Dave are the best. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone! The setting could not be more beautiful, sitting in the blue ridge foothills in Haymarket!

Bull Run was the second venue we visited and we were immediately in love with it. The view and ceremony location were gorgeous, the set up of the club itself was perfect, and the reception area felt so comfortable and perfect for us. Our wedding was yesterday and we received so many compliments on the scenery, the food, the service, and everything about Bull Run. David and Melinda were wonderful, and 2 weeks before the wedding, they set us up with Valarie to be our day-of-coordinator. Valarie had very little time to catch up but she was absolutely amazing. I have no idea how we would have pulled it off so smoothly without her, David, and Melinda. The pricing and value were great for the NoVa area and the food was fantastic. I could not be happier with our choice of venues and my husband loved his round of golf as well. Thank you making our day perfect!!!

Working with David, Melinda, and Catherine (the day-of coordinator) made the entire wedding planning process easy. From the massive amount of emails I would send before the big day, to the big day itself, the entire staff at Bull Run was extremely easy-going, flexible, and most importantly, really went above and beyond to make sure you got what you wanted. The food was absolutely amazing, definitely the best I've had at a wedding by far, and everyone is still raving about the lambchop lollipops! Catherine made sure all of my DIY decorations were where I wanted (and there were many), and David took us out on the golf cart during cocktail hour to get some great pictures. I would definitely recommend using the club for any event!

The staff at Bull Run Golf Club is unmatched and the venue is absolutely gorgeous! After touring 8 other locations, we knew this was where we were going to be married. From the Manager to the young man working the pro shop, the customer service was outstanding. Prior to the wedding, we worked closely with the Sales Director to plan the main aspects - number of people, food and bar selection, etc. He was extremely kind and helpful. We were able to meet our chef and taste the food we were considering to help us decide, and it was all delicious!

They offered us a day of coordinator for a very reasonable price which we took advantage of. She met with us a couple times before the wedding and helped us prepare a timeline for the ceremony and reception, thinking of things that had not even crossed our minds! She coordinated with all of our vendors leading up to the big day which really helped to take some of the stress off as we were doing last minute tasks.

I took care of all the decorations myself, and the banquet manager was nice enough to set up the tables early so I could do most of the decorating the night before (luckily there was not another function). The rehearsal and the day of went very smoothly - we could not have asked for anything more! The coordinator was there every step of the way directing everyone and keeping us calm. She even took pictures of the flowers and cake to show me as I was getting ready in the bridal room and staying out of sight from the groom. Right after the ceremony, the Sales Director even chauffeured us around on a golf cart with our photographer and we have some unbelievable pictures! The reception was so much fun and timed perfectly! We chose to do a buffet and everyone was able to fix their plates within a reasonable amount of time. The banquet staff all did a great job!

Overall, if you want outstanding customer service and a beautiful venue, Bull Run Golf Club is it!

It may seem strange that a vendor for a wedding scored perfectly but I promise that I wouldn't give them that rating unless they had gone well above and beyond all of my expectations. From the process of doing an information meeting with us all the way to walking out of the venue at the end of the event, Bull Run was the picture of professionalism and high quality service that is hard to find these days.

Leading up to the event I felt like I was being a bit of a "Groom-zilla" with tons of requests and adjustments even up to a few days before the event but Bull Run handled each of them with grace and flexibility, even assuring me that I wasn't nearly the worst they had seen.

On wedding day, they started me off with a nice 4-some of golf at their beautiful course. While my bride took a laid back and relaxed approach, I was wired and running around trying to ensure everything was perfect. That is until David, Melinda and Valerie at Bull Run ensured me and proved to me that everything would be ok. For example, we had put together baskets of bathroom essentials to put in the bathrooms for the reception (band aids, hair ties, stain sticks, etc). We found out that the one we had left in the men's room the night before had gone missing. Without missing a beat and without prompting on our end, Bull Run sent someone out to replace the basket and the items in it so that everything would be the way we had planned for our wedding. We were blown away.

The venue is beautiful, the staff from top to bottom is beyond amazing and it was a tremendous value compared to other places that we considered. If you need to have a wedding in the Northern Virginia area, you should be booking with Bull Run. No questions asked.

We have been venue hunting for 3 months now for our upcoming May 2014 wedding. We ended up NOT going with Bull Run as our venue, but only based on the fact that we changed our geographic region. I still wanted to write a review- because I spent a lot of time with Tina, their wedding coordinator. She met with me 3 times, along with my fiance and parents. Tina was very flexible, extremely generous with her time, and full of great ideas. The venue itself is beautiful. The outdoor area provides a great extension of the reception room. Tina even went as far as to get lighting and tenting quotes for us- even though we hadn't signed a contract. I would have been thrilled to have my wedding at Bull Run and would suggest checking it out!

You cannot ask for a better value in the Northern Virginia region. Bull Run Golf Club was the first venue we visited and I knew when we were there that there was no need to go anywhere else. David, Catherine, and the rest of the staff were accommodating, helpful, flexible, and attentive to every need and wish we had. Bull Run uses R&R catering and the food was fantastic; in fact, several of our guests have said that it's the best food they have ever had at a wedding. The setting for an outdoor wedding could not be better, there is plenty of room for the cocktail hour, and we had the freedom to lay out the reception room as we wished. You will not be dissapointed if you make this your wedding venue choice!

Joey and I had the perfect wedding at Bull Run. David was very helpful and prompt to respond via email and phone. Both Joey and I work full-time and do not have flexible hours so email was our main form of communication. We had tons of our own decorations and ideas for the reception and I was originally nervous that the staff at Bull Run would not be able to execute them correctly. They went above and beyond to make sure that everything was in its right location. Everything looked fantastic and beautiful. I was very impressed that David even came to pick Joey and I up when pictures were over to make sure that we were down stairs on time for our reception. I could not be more pleased with the service that I received from Bull Run.

We loved this place!! My husband thought I was crazy when I described getting married on a golf course along a pond (or some body of water). Our wedding planner found Bull Run, and without me being in the country, she and my then fiancee visited, sent me video and I knew immediately!! Several of our guests expressed how perfect the venue is. And the food was great!! Though we heard the appetizers were cold from some of our guests, that could have been due to our late start of the ceremony. Overall, the staff made the experience all the more pleasant. They worked with us and ensured that we got our hearts' desire. I wanna do it again!

We picked Bull Run for our wedding reception.

I felt very welcomed and not pressured when I first went to look at Bull Run. I immediately fell in love with their course and if it wasn't for the fact that we were getting married at the peak of summer, I would've loved an outdoor ceremony.

David (the sales manager) was very helpful and answered all my questions and every time I visited he remembered my name (and pronounced it correctly!)

Bull Run was very easy to work with and came with a great caterer (R&R Catering). They were also very flexible and even offered to get us the cables we needed to play a slideshow during the cocktail hour. The day of coordinator was also great and did a lot to help set up the reception.

Weddings are expensive but the value we got for rental and food wasn't too bad and we didn't fell ripped off. I would definitely recommend Bull Run Golf Club to anyone getting married.

Our wedding day at Bull Run Golf Club was absolutely amazing. We were truly blessed to have found this venue; it was perfect in every aspect. The location, the scenery and views, the ballroom with the wall of windows overlooking the course and the amazing fireplace, the food, the staff, etc., etc., etc. We were truly blown away.

Our wedding day started out beautifully. The guys were able to golf during the day and we were able to get some photos outside before the weather turned on us and got chilly and rainy. We were all set for an outside ceremony and a few minutes before we were about to start, it started raining! No problem for Michelle and her crew; they handled this with perfect grace and ease and had everything moved to the ballroom and set up for us within minutes. Our guests didn’t mind either; they were able to spend a few extra minutes at the pub inside, where the bar staff took care of them! After the ceremony, we moved upstairs for cocktails while the room was turned. Michelle and team had everything perfectly orchestrated, even with the last minute changes, it was flawless! And the food! The dinner our guests enjoyed would rival any high-end restaurant. Our guests raved and raved about their meal. Thank you, Chef Matt!

Bull Run Golf Club is a true gem. Highly recommend.

Bull Run Golf Club surpassed all expectations we had. The service was fabulous, and the performance was flawless. Our coordinator Adrienne was beyond professional. One of the first things I loved about her was her responsiveness. As a bride, you have so many questions and not only did she offer guidance, but she was always available when we needed her.
One of the reasons we chose Bull Run was the price. Their pricing was the most reasonable out of a dozen or so places we checked. They were more than accomodating to our needs as well with requests relating to ethnic foods. To top it all off, the view was breathtaking. The club is nestled right in the mountains and provided for gorgeous photos.
I would highly reccomend Bull Run Golf Club as a wedding venue to anyone, and my entire guest list will as well. It has been one month since the wedding and everyone is still talking about it. Again, thank you Bull Run for making my wedding as wonderful as it was. We will never forget it.

This was an extremely well run operation. From the planning stages throughout the end of the ceremony we were well attended. Bull Run uses a catering company for their food which we were able to go and try a number of items before we made up our menu. The staff of the golf course and the staff of the catering company worked seamlessly together, always around but never noticed, never in the way.
The view from the pergola over the lake is astounding, an evening wedding catches the sun setting over the mountain behind and comes up with some gorgeous shots. All in all a day we won't forget, and for all of the right reasons.

My daughter's wedding on 10/8/11 was absolutely perfect. The Bull Run Staff, Mike, Tim, Adrienne, Nick, Noelle, and Thadeous were true professionals and made her day so special. Adrienne walked us through the rehearsal and was also there on the day of the ceremony to guide the bridal party and make sure that the reception was on schedule. Bull Run is a beautiful place with a picturesque golf course, lake, trees and mountains.

I can't imagine having had a better day! The weather even cooperated, a bit hot but sunny and no rain! Every one of my guests walked away impressed with the venue and had a great time! We had all the access before the wedding that we needed when we wanted it. The room for the girls to get ready was comfortable, the boys didn't use the space they were offered. We only had about 65 guests and the space was perfectly sized. We had planned for 100 but we both feel like we would have been a bit cramped. We liked being able to move around freely.

David was awesome, every time I emailed him he was prompt. Even if it was just to say I've got your question but can't answer it right now. Can't say that about many other vendors.

It even rained a bit the morning of the wedding so the guys planning to play golf didn't go and David was able to fit them in on Sunday.

The only glitch was my coordinator had a little trouble tracking down or on-site contact at the rehearsal and the day of for a few minor issues. All in all, everything was resolved and went off seamlessly! I barely dealt with the Alcohol & Beverage manager but my coordinator loved him. She found him very helpful.

I would do it all over again in the same place!

Bull Run Golf Club was a great wedding venue! We met Brittany and David at a bridal expo and were impressed with their professionalism. They followed up after and we quickly scheduled a time to come in and meet and tour the property. The ceremony location is breath-taking. Once I saw it, I could imagine getting married there. Brittany was responsive each time I reached out, even with the simplest question. On the day of the wedding, the staff was excellent. Glenn helped my DOC with everything from putting string lights up in the reception room, to removing the arbor flowers, to cleaning up after the reception had ended. Everyone we worked with was helpful, accommodating, and happy, in general. The pictures we've received are breath-taking. I would absolute recommend Bull Run as a picturesque and affordable option for northern VA brides.

Bull Run Golf Club is an amazing venue. We just had our wedding (9/1/2012) and it turned out beautiful.

Actually, it was the wedding of the season. We rocked it. The staff was awesome, friendly and courteous, and the wedding coordinators we always accessible to answer our questions. We started talking to David and later Catherine who did an great job. She kept us on track.

The price for the venue is ok, but since they have an agreement with R & R Catering (also great) the food costs can rise. Don't get me wrong though, it was worth it as the food was amazing. The salmon was to die for!

The only other thing to consider is its location and nearby hotels. The ones we booked we about a 15 minute drive.

Regardless, I definitely recommend using Bull Run. I would attend an R & R Catering event to sample the food - 15 bucks and it was all you can eat & drink. I'd talk to Bull Run to make sure it's your type of venue as well.

My wife and I had a picture perfect wedding and it's certainly due in part to Bull Run. They did an amazing job!

We decided on Bull Run Golf Club because of the amazing scenery, mountains in the background, looking out onto a golf course, Can't beat it! So beautiful. We had our wedding outside on the patio in a tent which let our guests walk around freely and enjoy the view! David was wonderful to work with, he was extremely responsive and flexible! He let our bridal party use the golf carts for their "grand entrance", and the end of the night he told us not to worry about our things and that they could store what was left for us! Which was a huge relief, he also didn't force us out right when the event was over, he allowed time for people say their goodbyes and gather up their things! It was truly great. So many of our guests have told us this was the best wedding they have ever been to! Highly recommend booking your wedding here!

With an extremely tight time frame due to my fiancee's schedule, we were fighting our way through possible venues, looking for a place that was unique and fit our (now very popular) rustic themed wedding. I actually called a couple of venues to ask about our two possible dates only to get laughed at for thinking I could book their venue so late (I was a year out from the wedding date). But, then my mother and I stumbled upon Bull Run Golf Club, and we couldn't believe how lucky we had gotten!

The venue is set at the base of the Bull Run mountains, giving you a pretty incredible view. Standing on their patio looking at those mountains, it's hard to believe you are only 45 minutes away from the bustling metropolis that is D.C. Their reception hall has gorgeous views out the window, a statement fireplace at the entrance of the room which adds a bit of comfort and uniqueness to the event, and comfortably seats up to 150 (I believe they can fit more, but not "comfortably"). Which brings me to another point, Bull Run Golf Club was one of the only "rustic" venues that could accommodate a sizable group in a climate-controlled room. Many of the other places that I looked (local vineyards and manors) required you to rent a tent to put on their outdoor grounds, and you were just hoping and praying that the weather would cooperate. At Bull Run, I was pleased with the "Plan B" in case of rain or high/low temperatures. As it turned out, the weather on my wedding day was absolutely perfect, so my guests were able to mosey back and forth from inside to the outside patio where they could smoke cigars and roast marshmallows for s'mores on our firepit.

I worked specifically with David Weider, who I believe will be giving this part of his job to a new employee that will focus primarily on weddings/events. David was very professional and pretty responsive. There's a wedding day of coordinator there named Valarie Moore who, from many years of experience, does such a wonderful job!

Our wedding was amazing even though it was so unbearably hot. Our guests keep talking about the space and the great food from their caterer. The staff at Bull Run is very good, kind, and professional. They were very attentive to everything we asked for and did it nearly to a T. They make very good suggestions and everyone we met during the process offered their well wishes. They also offer a lot for the price..I'd say considerably more than what other golf courses and venues offer in the area! Definitely a place to consider!!

This is an absolutely gorgeous and reasonably priced venue. The staff was very courteous and professional. My daughter's wedding was held here and the guests fell in love with it just as much as we did. We worked with David and the wedding day coordinator was Catherine. They helped ensure the day was a joyous time and a wonderful experience for everyone.

BRGC is a beautiful venue. The landscape and scenery is so beautiful we could not have asked for a better setting. We found all the staff at BRGC were friendly and mostly accommodating. I am however not giving it 5 starts due to our experience with the day of coordination and a few mistakes that were made the day of. We paid additional money for day of coordination; however, we wound up having to do the bulk of the work ourselves. This was disappointing as we wouldn’t have paid the additional money if we would have known that ahead of time. I would plan on doing a decent amount of work yourself, unless using an outside wedding planner; however, the venue will serve its purpose beautifully for any wedding.
