We had our wedding at the Wythe Hotel, and Buds of Brooklyn transformed their main hall for us to a lush greenscape with hanging, vine-like greens punctuated by bright fall pastel flowers for our tablescapes. We didn't have specific flower types or specific colors in mind, but shared with the team at Buds a few photos we liked and they were able to take those and build for us a beautiful setting for both our wedding ceremony and reception. The team at Buds was great to work with, responsive to our needs and very professional. Given they had extensive experience at the Wythe Hotel, they were quite knowledgeable about the space and helpful in offering suggestions as to what would and would not work in the venue. We received so many compliments regarding the ambience, which had everything to do with the florals. Thank you Buds! -

Nicole and the team at buds of brooklyn are amazing. I gave very little direction, yet still managed to change my mind three times and nicole took it and ran and made it better than I could have ever imagined myself. No pinterest board even compares to how gorgeous she made it!! Thank you for everything and making my dreams come to life!! -

Compliments 6 months later
Our flowers are hands down the first thing people talk about when they mention our wedding. 6 months after, we continue to get compliments them! My uncle, a retired professional florist himself, even commented on how impressive it all was. I knew I didn’t want winter white or evergreen when we picked a January date, and Buds of Brooklyn knocked it out of the park. I love flowers and it was the only thing I really wanted to nail for our wedding "vision," and therefore the thing I was also most nervous about - I wanted them to be unique and interesting and warm, but I also wanted to give the team artistic license so the flowers would be the most impressive they could be. My husband, event planner (Clover Event Co) and I gave them a mood board of colors, chatted about the vibe, and they came back with a loose proposal. Day-of, I wasn't 100% sure what it would look like but trusted it would all come together - and when I arrived I could not believe how incredible our altar looked, our entrance area had the most perfect piece I’ve ever seen, and my bouquet was just the right shape to keep it interesting. I also love love loved our table scapes, which were just the right balance of color and structure to give it a full, luxurious feel without cluttering up the tables too much and allowing for people to still chat between the flowers and candles. I was stunned with the vibrancy of it all. Thank you so much to the whole team who made it happen! -

Buds of Brooklyn is great!! They are true artists! I had a pretty clear vision going in, but as time went on, I started second-guessing. Buds of Brooklyn were there for every pivot I thought of making and were kind enough to let my mother and I stop by our wedding venue while they were setting up for a wedding with similar florals to ours so that we could see things come together in person. It was above and beyond and helped calm my nerves so much. On our wedding day, we ended up needing to remove two tables from our reception, and they were able to effortlessly repurpose the flowers from those tables to our sweetheart table. We originally weren't going to do anything major for our sweetheart table, but after seeing what they were able to do with the leftover florals, I couldn't believe it wasn't originally part of our plan! Also: my bouquet was *gorgeous*. Beyond! Thank you so much! -

Buds of Brooklyn helped to dress up our super industrial space at the Senate Garage in Kingston, NY. From beginning to end, Nicole and Connie helped my husband and I pull our dream flowers together. She truly turned a brick industrial space into an absolutely gorgeous indoor garden, dripping with flowers and greenery at every turn. We had an amazing arch where we got married that made us feel like Spring time and turned into a little photo booth station. I cannot recommend them enough, from start to finish incredibly professional and amazing. Everyone all night asked us who did the flowers and I've already send Buds of Brooklyn info for 2-3 people's weddings just from the incredible job they did at our wedding. Highly, highly recommend!!! -

The most creative, unique and perfect florist for our wedding!
Absolutely obsessed with the Buds of Brooklyn team's work! They exceeded our expectations - not only with the florals day of but also with the pre-event prep (a beautiful visual proposal to prove it). Connie and Nicole brought our color scheme and desired vibe to life. Everything was perfect! They are true artists with their florals and plant display. They even added a few extra plant details the day of. Buds is unlike any florists we've seen! 11/10 recommend. -

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the Buds team! They did an incredible job brining our vision to life, better even than I’d imagined it. They were a pleasure to work with and a great value. We would recommend them to anyone getting married in the area! We had a challenging time at first to find a florist for our small wedding, so the a la carte option was perfect for us and our venue! So happy to have found Buds if Brooklyn :) -

Buds of Brooklyn’s team did amazing job to create the raw studio alive. They had the perfect color theme flowers for bouquet and overall installations. A lot of our guests shared gorgeous pictures of flowers and we were glad to see those in our album. Thank you for your time, effort, and making our day special. -

Our wedding was a month ago, and people are still telling us how much they LOVED our unique flowers. Connie & Nicole did such an outstanding job, taking my unformed vision and picking up on certain things that we responded to, turning that into an absolutely stunning look. We were so impressed with them just from looking at their Instagram, and my mother-in-law liked their style so much that she had them do some arrangements for the rehearsal dinner. They were mindful of creating two different feels, and we loved the rehearsal dinner flowers so much that we tried to keep them! (turns out giant floral arrangements don't do so well in Ubers). I also had a minor panic during our day-before walkthrough, and Nicole & Connie took my freak-out in stride and helped me calm down which was definitely not part of their job description, but really shows what great women they are. We had so much fun working with them, and absolutely adored our flowers the day of. My only regret is not making a plan for how to preserve them - I got a little teary when I finally had to throw out my crumbling bouquet, I loved it so much. Cannot recommend them highly enough, they have such amazing style and were awesome to work with! -

Flower Wizards
I knew that I wanted to hire Buds right away just looking at their portfolio. I reached out to them far in advance of my wedding and got the ball rolling. Nicole and Connie put together a proposal for me based off of what I said I was leaning towards in terms of style and color. A long while later as my wedding vision finalized I reached back out and we adjusted the vision and color palette slightly. They were always responsive and answered any questions that popped up through the process, whether for adding more flowers or logistical questions. During our final meeting I ended up changing some of the items that I had planned and giving them creative freedom to do whatever they thought best and coolest. As an Art Director who is always super specific about vision and design - I'm SO glad I did this. Everything they created went lightyears beyond anything I could have ever imagined. So many people at my wedding couldn't stop commenting on the flowers and arrangements. Everything was perfect. Seriously, let them work their flower magic for you. -

They made planning super easy, were easy to contact, open with communication and transparent with pricing, and turned my vague request ('um, like, a lot of greenery?') into something beautiful. They transformed my wedding venue into a magical space. Convinced they can make anything happen! Also, they're both just lovely.

I work in events, and I’ve seen the gamut in quality of florals - Buds of Brooklyn provided the most perfectly designed, fresh, beautifully colored arrangements for our wedding that fit our aesthetic to a T. Nicole and Connie are a delight as human beings as well. They are clearly passionate and excited about what they do, and business was conducted with the perfect blend of professionalism and the sweetest of personalities. HIGHLY recommend.

From the moment I stumbled upon them via their IG page (shout out to the invention of hashtags #) I knew they were the right fit for what I wanted for our wedding day. I met Nicole in Connie several months before the wedding where we discussed what I loved my vision and let me tell you these ladies went above and beyond to ensure everything that I wanted to incorporate for our wedding was achieved. They were so creative and gave great suggestions and when I doubted myself I simply told them "I trust you". I spent quite a bit of time searching for the right florist and no vendor seemed right until I met the Buds. They are two extremely talented women who take into account every details to bring your vision to life. Do yourself a favor and HIRE them. I still get nothing but compliments about my floral arrangements and was even able to preserve my bouquet on my own, that's how great their flowers are. I absolutely adore these two and truly feel they are a huge part of why my wedding day was a success. I wanted to create a warm and inviting ambiance and I always thought I wouldn't be that bride who cared much for "flowers" but after seeing what they do I was obsessed! If you want something soft, romantic with a touch of elegance for your special day with a side of creativity/modernism look no further and hire the Buds. Nicole and Connie again thank you so much for being a part of mine and Eric's special day. It meant the world to us and our guests!!
