My wife and I had the wedding of our dreams and Buchanan Hall/Montana were a huge part of that. What a great venue

Wedding venues in NOVA are insanely high priced, and finding something within our budget was turning into a nightmare for us. Buchanan hall was one of the nicer venues we looked at and Montana was fantastic in helping arrange and coordinate our big day. We also loved that the hall is a non-profit community space.

Words really don’t express how amazing our wedding day was and how beautiful everything was. Buchanan hall made all our wedding day visions come true! The history, outdoor space, get ready rooms, hall, and everything in between was simple perfection. Montana has been amazing this whole process and is more than helpful. We couldn’t think of a better space to hold our big day.

Perfect space that is no frills, but was just what we needed for our wedding. Very easy to work with and very accommodating.

My husband and I needed something affordable as we were self paying, we wanted the wedding of our dreams on a shoe string budget. Montana and Buchanan Hall helped our vision come to life. The day was beautiful and Montana was easy to work with. It was a picture perfect day. I've attached some photos and will attach more photos once we get them back from the photographer so you can see more of the space itself.

Beautiful hunt country relaxed yet elegant venue. Easy and comfy to spread out and enjoy the Hall and gardens.

We got married at Buchanan Hall in June 2024 and it was everything we dreamed of! The hall is the perfect location for a one-stop venue, with plenty of space for indoor or outdoor festivities during all parts of the day. We had our ceremony and cocktail hour outside in the gardens, then dinner indoors and the reception indoor/outdoor. With 120 guests, there was plenty of space for a sit-down meal and dancing afterwards! Additionally, the hall coordinator Montana is extremely easy to work with and took a personal interest in making sure our day went perfectly. She even showed up for the rehearsal without us having to ask so she could get an idea of what we were looking for and coordinate during the ceremony for us, which took so much of the stress off of me. Her communication is prompt and clear, which made all the difference during planning too. And an added bonus is just how fun she is to work with!

Our catering and day-of coordination was done by the hall’s in-house caterer My Sweet Thyme, who customized a menu for us and went above and beyond for us in every aspect. We are still getting compliments on the food 2 months later, and as the bride, I didn’t have to think about a single thing other than having a good time that day.

Another benefit of hosting at Buchanan Hall was the fact that we could visit the venue during their regular farmers markets to get a feel for the space and plan in person, which is not something you get to do at most venues. As a visual person, this was a huge perk for me especially. We were able to customize our floor plan, the color scheme and florals, and decide where the DJ and Photo Booth should go to maximize our use of the space.

The hall has a handful of vendors whom they work with regularly, including our DJ and florist, and they were just fabulous to work with too. The fact that Montana and her team have a working relationship with so many connections in the wedding industry honestly made the whole planning process so simple.

Overall, I am extremely pleased with our decision to get married at Buchanan Hall, and I think you would be too!

Buchanan hall was perfect in every way. Classic and lovely just on its own.

This beautiful, classic space could not have been more lovely for my daughter’s wedding reception this past New Year’s Eve. The big hall, with its windows and chandeliers, and the stage for the wedding party was perfect and charming. The supporting facilities (kitchen, etc) were great. Montana was so responsive and helpful at every stage of the process and gave us great ideas for table configurations and decorations. We were so happy with our choice!

I was a bit skeptical of the venue and its location at first, but my daughter with her artist eye saw the "canvass." The extraordinary space, lighting, historical vibe opened amazing possibilities for a very intimate wedding event. The weather was perfect, the lighting was magical and everyone enjoyed the late afternoon celebatory gathering. Montana suggested we use the antique furniture as a seating area where famiy could view the couple's photo albums! It was great and a highlight. Thank you!

We loved having our wedding at Buchanan Hall!! The venue is beautiful and located in such a pretty part of VA - gorgeous rolling hills and the mountains in the distance. The venue itself has lovely garden space out front where we had our ceremony. The hall is very versatile and the space can be utilized in so many ways. We had 120 guests and everything flowed wonderfully!
The entire experience of working with Buchanan Hall was a pleasure. The venue coordinator was very friendly and knowledgeable. She was responsive and quick to answer any questions we had along the way. Everything was very professional but also very personalized and down to earth. We thoroughly enjoyed having our wedding at Buchanan Hall! We would highly recommend this venue!

We found Buchanan hall on simple google search but boy, we were lucky. Montana is awesome : knowledgeable , great networking, kind, caring, and helpful.

We loved having our wedding here! Montana was super easy to work with! We would definitely do another event here. We had a small 50 person wedding due to Covid, and this space was perfect!

Buchanan Hall was a perfect fit for us as soon as I saw the photos online, then meeting with Jo Ann and seeing it in person, i knew it was truly meant to be. Jo Ann was so quick and helpful with questions or concerns I had. Our photos turned out beautiful with Buchanan hall as our back drop!

Buchanan Hall is an excellent venue for a wedding or other functions. The grounds are well kept, parking is sufficient and the staff is excellent. We rented Buchanan Hall for the entire weekend for a wedding. Set up on Friday, wedding on Saturday and went back Sunday morning to pick up the dishes, flowers, etc. The facility is very clean and will accommodate 150+ people. Great place for a wedding. Beautiful trees and bushes for pictures. I recommend Buchanan Hall!

Middleburg Montessori School has had the pleasure of being able to hold our programs on the lovely stage at Buchanan Hall for a number of years now! We love the hall and hope to continue to be there for years!

Our reception was held at Buchanan Hall and we had a wonderful experience all around. Montana was very helpful and easy to work with, and the flexibility of the space was awesome. We couldn’t have picked a better place!

Very accommodating! Gorgeous property! I did an outdoor ceremony with indoor reception. Full warming kitchen available. Large stage, bathrooms, dimming lights, bride and groom room.

Buchanan Hall is a beautiful place to hold a wedding. Staff were flexible with our needs, however, it was sometimes difficult to get a hold of people to get information. Overall, we had a great experience using Buchanan Hall.
