WOW! If you're in need of a photographer, we cannot recommend Bryan enough. He was with us through planning, covid turmoil, date change, and was our best friend throughout our wedding day. He took high quality indoor photos, candid shots, and fantastic outdoor ones in Duluth summer heat. His editing was on point - we looked like the best version of ourselves, scenery was crisp, and detail shots were creative! The person he chose as a second shooter really added to the fun dynamic and they both made the day enjoyable. We had a few relatives that attempted to run the family photos, but Bryan was able to quickly get in the requested shots and kept everyone on track without getting flustered. Definitely took pressure off of us! We are so impressed with his photography, personal skills, time management, and impressive ability to be your friend in the midst of chaos. If you have any doubt, just reach out and you'll see why he was the best investment we made for our wedding. Thank you again, Bryan, for all the help and fabulous photos! -

Bryan’s slogan on his webpage is “Epic photos, great experience, no BS” and that’s 100% true. Bryan is a straight shooter, he’s not the type of photographer to put a filter on a photo. He captures natural light and uses it to his advantage, for me that’s a timeless look. He was awesome & captured our fall 2020 wedding with ease (not an easy time to do such thing). Bryan took our engagement photos along the North Shore and travelled to Central MN for our wedding & we were so happy with both! Oh and he was awesome with our dog too!

Bryan & his extra photographer were amazing. They are very skilled photographers and have attention to detail. They were able.to be very coordinated with our very large bridal party. Including Bride, Groom, our dog (dog handler), junior bridesmaids, flower girls, MOH, & Best Man we totaled to be 30 total. Thank you Bryan & Kate you did wonderful and loved our sneak peak photos. -

Absolutely beyond the best
Can’t even begin to explain how amazing Bryan is/was. His creativity is beyond anything we ever imagined. The man even climbed a TREE to get a shot, and turns out it’s our favorite. The photos captured not only the image, but the emotion. We could never have received better service, flexibility, creativity, professionalism, and one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet. We are forever grateful to BJW for capturing the true essence, mood, and festiviness of our special day. Nothing will ever be forgotten, as he captured them all.
You are truly settling for less if you go with any other. We are forever grateful to you Bryan, and can’t thank you enough!

Quite simply, the best! Beautiful photos!
Bryan is simply the best. If you want beautiful wedding photos, don’t hesitate to hire him. He gets great creative and natural shots capturing the joy and emotion of your day. Bryan’s use of indoor and outdoor lighting gives photos a fresh, modern feel. He knows the Northland quite intimately from growing up here and years of wedding photography, plus he is also great at figuring out the best shots when in new locations and is always ready for a travel adventure.

Full disclosure, I’ve known Bryan since we were 15. Over the years I’ve watched his photography develop (sometimes literally!) from casual friend snapshots, covering high school life for the yearbook, taking stunning travel photos during college, filming videos for the local evening news, to taking phenomenal youth sports action shots for parents eager to memorialize their hockey prodigy. He has honed his skills with each of those thousands and thousands of photos.
But best of all has been watching his consistent connection to couples for their wedding. I’m outing him: Bryan has a romantic side that is beautifully suited to wedding photography. When I got engaged to Chris, there was no one else that we even thought about to take our wedding photos.
At the heart of Bryan’s photos are the emotions and feelings of the day. We look back at the photos he took at our wedding and each one brings back what we felt at that moment: be it joy, excitement, love, a quiet, intimate moment, or silliness. Bryan has the gift of capturing the moment while making you look your best. The lighting, his framing, his style all bring life to photos that are stunning to look at.
He puts you at ease. Most of us aren’t models, nor are we used to being photographed for hours at a time. He’s comfortable giving directions, “move your hand slightly to the left, chin up, now rotate, and there!” but also seeing what is natural for you. Everyone wants to look good in their photos, and he makes that happen; even if it occasionally means getting dirty or being a little adventurous to get the shot. He’s always ready to capture a spontaneous giggle or a heartfelt tear.
The photos look clean and natural, with modern poses that still evoke a classic, timeless feel. As you browse through his portfolio, even photos taken ten years ago continue to feel fresh.
Bryan will make all those detail decisions over which you agonized continue to live on. Remember when you debated garden roses vs. Gerber Daisies? Vanilla or chocolate cake? Your all-important shoe choice? That lace handkerchief that your great-grandmother had at her wedding? Bryan will capture those details long after the flowers have wilted, the cake has been eaten, and those shoes have been kicked off. Fantastic Love our pictures
Bryan did an amazing job! We absolutely LOVE our wedding and engagement photos. There are so many photographers to choose from but the minute we met Bryan we knew he was the one. He didn’t win over our flower girl and tried his darndest (3 year olds are stubborn) but we have some fantastic shots of him trying!! If you want to have fun and enjoy every minute Bryan is the only choice. When he says walk down the creepy alley do it, it will be your favorite photo! Thanks for the memories they’re exactly what we hoped for!!!! -

Bryan captured our special day with both formal photos of the ceremony and family members, and the many candid shots he took before and after the ceremony. He also did a wonderful job of recreating a photo I had seen on Pinterest using our wedding rings and my bible. We were very happy with his work and would recommend his services! -

Jessica Sent on 12/10/2017Our pictures were FANTASTIC. Bryan was great to work with, and even got my husband (who hates pictures) to enjoy himself. The price was reasonable for the quality, and more than the pictures he worked really hard with our DJ to keep the night going smoothly and adapting where he needed to. He was like a mini wedding coordinator as well, helping me with the wedding timeline. Him and his partner got some great pictures, and had a lot of good ideas for poses that o hadn’t thought of. Highly recommend to anyone!!

One word: amazing.
Bryan went absolutely above and beyond, and made our wedding day completely amazing. He is so professional, organized, so much fun, and knows exactly how to make his bride and grooms look amazing. Even in 85 degree weather on what was supposed to be a nice “fall” September wedding day, our pictures turned out perfect! -
