Wow, where do I even begin?! Tiffany and the Brushes and Braids team were an absolute joy to work with both during my hair/makeup trial and on my wedding day. She was hands down one of my absolute favorite vendors!
After deciding to postpone our wedding a full year due to Covid, Tiffany generously rescheduled our date with ease. Prior to my hair/makeup trial she helped me pick out hair extensions that would work well for me and offered tons of great suggestions along the way.
When I was still unsure about what hair style I wanted by my trial, Tiffany created a stunning look that I never would have thought of on my own. I highly suggest that any upcoming brides allow her the creative freedom to create a beautiful and unique look because she created absolute hair magic for me! Tiffany helped me find the perfect makeup look and the application was flawless. I chose to schedule my bridal portraits right after my hair/makeup trial and I’m so glad that I did, the photos turned out so well.
The morning of my wedding, Tiffany and her team arrived at our location (which was a remote cabin in an area with little Wi-Fi so props to her!) on time and ready to roll. I chose to provide hair/makeup services for all 9 of my bridesmaids and my mom. Tiffany, being an organized queen, created a timeline that accommodated everyone’s hair/makeup in the window of time that we had. When someone arrived late for their time slot, she adjusted without skipping a beat and still had everyone finished right on time. My bridesmaids looked stunning, all with coordinating yet unique looks of their own and our group photos are fantastic! Somehow, my hair/makeup looked even better the day of my wedding and stayed FLAWLESS all night long.

My friends and I absolutely loved Sydnee (Make-Up Artist) and Erin (Hair Artist). I already knew my best friends were beautiful but.... Sydnee and Erin made them look INCREDIBLE!!!!! To say I was nervous to pick a hair and make-up team is an understatement. I have had my make-up done for several of my friends weddings and rarely was happy with the result. I am painfully pale and have hooded eyes. Professional make-up often makes me feel ghostly (or too overly bronzed). Syndee was incredibly patient as I voiced all of my concerns at my trial and communicated with me throughout the process to make sure we hit my vision for my wedding day. She also took detailed notes after my trial to make any of my requested changes. She also was calm under unnecessary pressure. I had an insane allergic reaction across my face two weeks before my wedding (nightmare) which led to my eye watering incessantly on my big day. Syndee did my watering eye over and over until it looked perfect and never once complained. I could not have been happier with my make-up! And my hair... Erin nailed my vision (even as it changed....!). Erin also adapted quickly to me adding my flower girl to the line-up shortly before the wedding. Also, and maybe most importantly, my hair and makeup lasted all day and night. But probably even more importantly, they are both a joy to work with and fit in seamlessly with my friends on the morning of my wedding. Finally, Tiffany was amazing to work with as the go-between throughout the process and always had timely, helpful responses to my questions. Highly, highly recommend! -

Erin was wonderful and tackled my whole wedding party (myself, 2 bridesmaids, 2 moms, and my husband's hair) solo and did a truly fantastic job. She was a joy to work with and very fun to hang with on the day. All of our hair and makeup looked perfect from the beginning of the day to the end of the night and, speaking for myself, I felt so beautiful and confident and I can't recommend her enough! Tiffany at Brushes and Braids was very easy to communicate with and even though I know she was swamped with many other weddings and events, made me feel like mine was important and special and I really appreciated that. -

We loved working with Tiffany and our hair looked so beautiful! She is very very sweet and very easy to talk to. She also is very good at her job and really understands your vision. My only recommendation is to make sure that she is going to be the one doing your hair or at least clarify who will be doing your hair the day of the wedding. We thought it would be her and the week of the wedding she told her she would be sending someone else. She was able to work it out and end up coming, it was just a bit stressful working out all of the details. Overall, she is fantastic and we can highly recommend her and her business! 💕 -

Let me preface this by saying I typically never like my hair and makeup when they’ve been professionally done in the past. With that being said, Lyndsay and Erin nailed it! I loved my soft curls and my makeup looked amazing and totally glam just how I wanted it. They appeared like calm little angels and went to work on us all. So happy I found them and highly recommend anyone booking this company if you’re in the area. I came from florida and they accommodated me by doing my trial the Thursday before my wedding. Weddings are stressful enough so do yourselves a favor and save yourself some stress and book these girls who are guaranteed to do a great job. -

Meeting Tiffany is like seeing a friend you’ve known forever and haven’t seen for awhile: all fun and no awkwardness. Not only is Tiffany exceptionally talented, she’s a heck of a lot of fun. She and her team felt like part of the bridal party as we all kicked it and got ready for the big day. Even my other vendors expressed all of the love when I mentioned Tiffany beautified me: for her talent and just her in general.

Brushes and Braids did my hair and makeup for my wedding and I cannot overemphasize the great work that they did! They were very flexible with the hair styles and make up that my bridesmaids, mom, and mother-in-law wanted. This included bringing vegan hair products for one of my bridesmaids. Their pricing is also very good compared to some other wedding hair and makeup services. I highly recommend Brushes and Braids if you are having a wedding in the Asheville area!! -

Tiffany is an absolute joy to work with! She did my hair for my wedding ceremony and a different style for my reception. She truly can make braids appear as if from nowhere. I gave her just a few inspiration pictures, but the styling she did on my wedding day exceeded all of my expectations! She is very helpful and responsive in the planning period- her portal makes communicating very easy. She gave me amazing recommendations for hair extensions and accessories. She is incredibly creative and talented. Also, she took a genuine interest in myself and my bridesmaids, and brought a great energy to the getting ready experience even though it was VERY early in the morning. Definitely recommend!! -

For my wedding in October 2021, I chose Tiffany and her team to do my and my bridal party's hair and makeup. I wanted someone who could do both our hair and makeup beautifully, and after looking through her instagram page and reading other sparkling reviews I knew she would be perfect. Tiffany was great to work with - she was responsive, friendly, and totally flexible when I kept changing my mind on what I wanted. When we did my trial run, we did a half up half down style which was beautiful, and we did a more natural makeup look which is what I requested (because I thought it was what I wanted at the time). Months later, after I tried on my dress for the final time two weeks before my wedding, I texted Tiffany to let her know I totally changed my mind. I wanted to do a side braid and have more glamorous makeup. She was all in, excited to help me create my look, and made me feel at ease in the final stressful weeks leading up to wedding day. On my actual wedding day, Tiffany and her team were AMAZING. She even changed one of my girls updo's because my bridesmaid wanted her part on the other side. Tiffany is hilarious and felt like a girlfriend with the rest of my bridesmaids. She made me feel the most beautiful I have ever felt in my life, which is how it should be on your wedding day. I felt like an absolute QUEEN. I am so so so happy I booked Tiffany for my big day. I promise that she will do everything she can to make you feel your most beautiful, and you will not regret hiring her as part of your team. Thank you Tiffany!!! -

Tiffany and her team are the BEST!
I hired Tiffany for hair and makeup for my December wedding in Raleigh and it was probably one of the best decisions I made throughout the wedding planning process! From the first time we spoke over the phone, I felt like we just clicked and that she would be able to capture the exact look that I wanted. We did a trial run on the day of our engagement photos and it turned out AMAZING! I did a slightly different look for my wedding day and not only did it look even better than I imagined, the hairstyle and makeup lasted all night! For the wedding day, I also had hair and makeup done for my 8 bridesmaids, my mom, and my husbands mom -- everyone raved about how happy they were with their looks and several guests even asked about the makeup we were wearing because it held up so well all night! Absolutely would recommend and I would love the opportunity to work with Tiffany again! -

Tiffany is INCREDIBLE! I came in with just a few inspiration pictures for my wedding hair and a vague sense of what I wanted for my makeup and she absolutely blew me away. In addition to being incredibly talented and creative, she’s also flexible, a great listener, fun to chat with, and also works incredibly fast. Plus my hair and makeup stayed put and stayed beautiful the entire incredibly humid day.

Tiffany was so flexible when I tweaked my look from the trial and completely captured what I wanted from a few inspirational photos. Tiffany made all of my boho braid dreams come true! She is so incredibly talented, and people have not stopped commenting on my hair (and my bridesmaids) and how beautiful and intricate it was. Tiffany did an amazing job! Leah was also fabulous for makeup, and they both were flexible and responsive to feedback from my trial. My hair and makeup stayed all night and the next day, and I’m a sweaty gal so that says a lot. -

Tiffany is an absolute DREAM to work with! From the first email to the day of my wedding, Tiffany has always been so responsive and kind to any question or concern. She took her time to work with me to figure out the style and look I was going for at my wedding. She really cares about her clients and make accommodations for people when they are needed.
The day of my wedding, Tiffany and her assistant were on time and ready to go as soon as my girls and I arrived. They took their time on each girl to make sure that they looked absolutely amazing. I think I looked at each one of my bridesmaids hair and couldn't get over how incredible it looked! Seriously, she is truly a wizard of her craft! I still can't get over how beautiful she made me look. I don't think I have ever looked at myself the way I did on my wedding and I owe that all to Tiffany. She stuck around until I was getting into my dress to make sure my hair and make-up were ready to go considering we had 22mph winds all day. Amazingly enough, my hair and make-up lasted through it all!
If you made it this far and you're still questioning if you need to book Tiffany, stop and just do it! I promise you that you cannot make a mistake with her. I'm still trying to find every excuse in the book for her to make me look like as pretty as I did at my wedding again! -

Wedding Hair & Makeup!!
Tiffany with Brushes and Braids is absolutely phenomenal! If you're looking for a vendor you can trust who will make you look absolutely stunning with beautiful braids and airbrush makeup, Tiffany is your girl! She takes the time to ask questions, and understand what you're looking for. On the day of my wedding, she asked my bridesmaids if they had a sensitive scalp and one of my bridesmaids said she's very sensitive and appreciated Tiffany asking. She is attentive, full of energy and personality while being incredibly personable and professional.
Trust me when I say, all of my bridesmaids looked like supermodels after Tiffany and her partner-in-crime, Lindsay, finished with hair and makeup.
Not only was Tiffany amazing the day of, she also made the time to see me the day prior for a little glow up prior to my rehearsal! My normal hairstylist is in London and with the pandemic I hadn't had a proper haircut in over a year and with the help of a little trim from Tiffany, my hair felt beautiful and healthy. Even though I live in Atlanta, I am hopeful I can get to work with Tiffany again (maybe for a styled shoot) as I'll drive the 3 hours to Asheville to get to work with her! -

Words can’t describe how thankful I am to have found Tiffany. I had hired another vendor for my hair and makeup and it turned out to be a nightmare. My sister went looking for other stylists and she came across Tiffany and I was blown away by the work she could do. We were able to get in touch with Tiffany in MINUTES and she agreed to do my wedding on a weeks notice! It was meant to be that she had a cancellation on my wedding weekend. Tiffany is so incredibly talented. She is the only person I trusted with my hair and makeup for both the engagement pictures and the wedding (including the bridal portraits) and I could not have been happier. She got my vision from the very beginning through a few inspo pictures and took it from there. I felt like a beautiful princess for all of the events. She also did the hair and makeup for my bridal party and they all looked beautiful and were thrilled. Tiffany provided updates and was awesome to communicate with throughout the entire process. I am so thankful for this especially with getting married during Phase 2 of the pandemic. She went above and beyond, and even made the commute to the wedding venue I was married at which is a few hours outside of Asheville. This girl seriously was a God-send to us on our wedding day. We had lost just about every other dream we had revolving around our wedding due to COVID and we were just 2 days away from also not being able to have Tiffany there either due to restrictions! But thank God we moved to phase 2 just in time for our wedding! After not being able
to have a bridal shower or bachelorette or the “normal things“ a bride has, I really felt less like a bride. So the idea of not having someone to glam me up on our wedding day made me feel even less like a bride. I cannot tell you how thankful I was that Tiffany was able to come and make me feel like a bride!!! She did such an outstanding job with me and all the women there. I just couldn’t have been more impressed. She’s so good at what she does! Gone are the days of bad wedding hair and makeup when you have someone like Tiffany there (and there aren’t many like her trust me I searched everywhere). She captured my

and all my girls. My makeup was amazing also! My one tiny complaint was that I got a tear streak down my face during the ceremony and it couldn’t be blurred in because of the air brush so I had to put some foundation on when we got back for the reception. I had never done air brush so I didn’t know what to expect...Totally not a big deal but I'd recommend packing some foundation in case! Tiffany is such a wonderful human being and I couldn’t have imagined our day without her! She TRULY made me feel like a bride and for that I will be eternally grateful!!! -

It was hard planning a destination wedding! Tiffany was very prompt getting back to me and super flexible with everything going on during Covid. Tiffany was AMAZING! She is very skilled and quick with her work. I was a little concerned that we were going to fall behind with hair/make-up but she kept us ahead of schedule the whole time. Tiffany is an incredibly talented hair and makeup artist! Tiffany made the planning process simple and was wonderful to have around on the morning of my wedding. Tiffany did the hair of all of my bridesmaids, as well as my mother and myself. Her braids were the perfect style for our rustic chic country wedding and I trusted her to plan the styles for each lovely lady herself.
Tiffany made us all feel super comfortable and we had a blast getting ready with her. I highly recommend Tiffany and Brushes and Braids if you are looking for a thoughtful and talented hair and makeup stylist. Her super sweet personality was a big bonus! -

Tiffany is a gift from above! She is kind, professional, fun, and simply amazing. When I initially did my trial run with her we immediately clicked and she made the whole experience so comfortable. She is a woman of many talents, and on my wedding day I loved my hair and makeup just as much as I did when she did my trial run. All of my bridesmaids LOVED their hair styles (which honestly does that ever happen?!) She can adapt to any hair type, and execute beautifully. Her braid skills are also on FLEEK! I was feeling pretty under the weather the morning of my wedding and Tiffany did not even hesitate to flex the schedule so I could get some extra rest time. All of my girls had a blast with her while getting ready. I would highly recommend booking with Brushes and Braids to anyone looking for a wedding day stylist who can truly do it all, and make your wedding day look a dream come true :) -

Excellent wedding experience
Tiffany was stellar when it came to hair and makeup for my wedding day crew! Not only did she deliver a gorgeous updo for me (and let me tell you, I have a LOT of hair), but all of my wedding party looked and felt amazing. She was so gracious and flexible, even when we had add ons for makeup or hair kindddd of last minute. And for anyone who wants all day makeup that will last.. Tiffany’s got it. I literally took pictures in the rain with water running down my face.. and then went into my reception with comments from several people that my makeup looked exactly the same. 10/10 recommendation 🙌Yeah -

If you are looking for the p e r f e c t person to do your hair and makeup for your wedding day Tiffany IS YOUR GIRL! Her looks are so versatile, she’s super down to earth and can do anything your mind can imagine— especially if it involves a braid.
Coming from out of town, she was so flexible and made the one weekend I could come in town work for an early trial, then months later I completely changed my mind and sent her new inspo pictures and she completely went with it and was even more excited. She checked in with me regularly and was honestly just as excited as I was! My trial went so well and I had such a blast chit chatting with Tiffany, I even booked her for hair and makeup for our rehearsal!!
I felt like an absolute goddess on my wedding day. Getting ready the day of with all the bridesmaids, it was like she was one of the girls and made us all feel so comfortable and pampered!! She’s hands down the best wedding day vendor I had and would not change a thing about her and how beautiful I looked for my wedding weekend!! -

Tiffany is a saint. I went into Asheville a few months back for a hair trial I had set up with a lady. I lived in Charleston so I drove FOUR hours for this hair trial. An hour before my appointment the girl text me she had to “reschedule”! She knew I drove 4 hours.. My step mom ended up knowing someone who knew Tiff so we contacted her and within a few hours she had me in her chair and OMG when she got done I almost cried tears of joy. The braid she did was everything I wanted and more! She did hair and make up for all of my bridesmaid as well! Everyone looked emasculate the day of the wedding! Tiffany has a unique gift. You show or tell her an idea and she takes that idea and turns it into YOU. I would recommend Tiffany all day long. She’s the braiding queen and make up guru. She even blew her tire out literally on the way to doll me up the day of the wedding. That didn’t stop her. She was 100% still focused on myself and the girls. Luckily mad dad called AAA for her and all was good. Good story to remember. Lol -

An absolute gem!
Tiffany has been my go to stylist for 3 years now. I first used her for hair and makeup on my wedding day and since then have used her for my baby showers and maternity photo shoots and she makes me feel like an absolute queen every single time. On my wedding day I plunged into ice cold water and when I came out my hair and makeup still looked perfect! I cannot recommend her enough and will never use anyone else for all of my events. -

Yessssss, so perfect!
Everything turned out exactly like I had envisioned, and more!! Love love love! She was so kind and personable. Coming from Indiana, we didn’t know who to book. We booked last minute and she was able to get us in and made everything phenomenal. Beautiful Hair and Makeup for My Vow Renewal
I originally booked Brushes and Braids for my May 2020 wedding; however, when the pandemic happened, I canceled my wedding vendors and had a small private event with only immediate family. After not using all the vendors I had hired for my wedding, my husband and I decided to have a vow renewal and use the services we had wanted at our wedding. Tiffany was extremely accommodating during the pandemic and was patient when I pushed back my vow renewal date twice. She sent timely updates about when payments were due, and she quickly adjusted costs when I no longer needed certain services. She was professional, friendly, and good about responding to messages. Ultimately, we couldn't find a time to do a trial together, so she sent Whitley to me instead; however, I am confident that Tiffany would've done a wonderful job on my hair and makeup too.
Whitley was a joy to work with! She did a beautiful job with my trial hair and makeup, and she was extremely receptive to constructive criticism and making necessary tweaks to achieve my day of vision. She was professional; there were no dirty/used supplies, and she was gentle with my long hair. Whitley was super pleasant, friendly, and kind. I didn't have any friends or family present for my vow renewal, but I felt like I had a friend there helping me get ready because of how personable Whitley was. When I had an issue with another vendor, Whitley helped me remain calm and validated my concerns. I was so grateful to have her there.
I felt gorgeous for my vow renewal, which is not a common feeling for me to experience, so that is a testament to her work. I was very particular about what I was looking for, and I think that Whitley totally pulled off my vision. I cannot recommend her and Brushes and Braids enough. I had a very positive experience and would definitely go back to them for event makeup or hair in the future. Thanks, Tiffany and Whitley for making my vow renewal so special!

My bridesmaids and I loveddddd having Brushes and Braids glam us up for my wedding. Tiffany is so easy to communicate with, kind-hearted, and MASSIVELY encouraging. She was supportive of my visions for my bridal look, and had ideas of her own that I was all about.
Brushes and Braids helped me look like the little woodland fairy I wanted to be on my wedding day. Tiffany kills it with the airbrush foundation. My skin looked flawless, great coverage, AND AND AND I was still able to see all my freckles which I love. My bridesmaids loved their braids, which truly looked killer. The braids were diverse and added so much texture, sass, and creativity to my girls’ looks!
I went for more of a boho vibe for my hair, and wanted make-up that was light and breathy (because I usually don’t wear any). I got exactly that from B&B. AND IF YOUR VISION FOR YOURSELF IS DIFFERENT THAN MINE, I’M POSITIVE BRUSHES AND BRAIDS WILL MEET YOURS. That is what is so important. They are quite well-versed when it comes to hair and make-up. I learned a thing or two that’s for sure, haha!! Brushes and Braids is spunk, good-energy, and inclusive of ALL love. So good.
My hair and makeup photographed beautifully, and if I were to go to back I would 8,000% choose Brushes and Braids again. DO IT. DO IT. DO IT. -

Tiffany was great to work with! She was prompt and very flexible with showing up to our airbnb to do my hair and 2 of my bridesmaids. Everyone loved their hair and looked absolutely beautiful. She was very creative and helped everyone's visions become a reality. The best part was she was fun to hang out with and she fit right in with our group. I'd definitely recommend hiring her for your wedding or special event! -
