Brûlée Catering was able to give us the wedding of our dreams. Any great wedding starts with good wedding food, and we were pleasantly surprised with everything that Brûlée was able to provide. From the hors d’revers, to the bartenders, to dinner service, everything was elegantly presented and tasted delicious. We personally ordered the short rib and coq au vin for our wedding dinner and all of our guests were floored with both our choices. They have an incredible system in which each table has their plates passed out and collected in under an hour. I would say if dinner started at 8, by 8:45 everyone at 14 tables had completed their meals and plates were all cleared. Impressive, considering at other Philadelphia weddings we have attended, you may not eat for hours or the food is not cooked correctly. The amount of food provided was exactly that was required. There were not thousands of appetizers where no one ate their dinner but there was also enough where everyone after cocktail hour, dinner and dessert, left extremely satisfied. With Brûlée the food was perfect from beginning to end is the main choice of why we chose the location of our wedding.
As for the planning process, we worked with Alysha. Sadly, she is leaving the company but Brûlée should be kicking themselves for it! Alysha is incredibly hard working, had a lot of knowledge, great attention to detail and a lot of recommendations. Brûlée as a whole was incredibly accommodating with being flexible with their payment schedule, ensuring all our details were executed and modifying menu options. They had a beautiful tasting process where we got to meet and greet with all of the chefs developing the recipes. They provided us with ample choices with all of our linens. Lastly, they created an in-depth presentation with everything about our day, and scheduled multiple meetings with us to make sure every last detail was reviewed.
We only had a few complaints from our wedding planning process. One would be the speed in which some of our inquiries were answered. However, as we got closer to our date, those issues vastly improved. Secondly, was the wedding rehearsal. It seemed as though Brûlée’s relationship with the public library had some issues. It made scheduling the rehearsal somewhat stressful. Ultimately, we just told the library and Brulee when we were having it and they obliged, but it was not without some push back. Lastly, would be the exclusivity of the tent vendor with Brûlée. Luckily, we rolled the dice and had a clear day, but the exorbitant price of the tent’s deposit would be a hard one to swallow.
In all, we would definitely recommend The Free Library of Philadelphia to anyone. The staff, food and views alone is enough to take your breath away, and Brûlée’s involvement only enhanced for what was an unforgettable evening and wedding day. -

Great experience!
Working with Brulee on creating the wedding of my dreams truly was a pleasure. Wedding planning is obviously stressful, however, I felt like I could rely on the Brulee team and coordinate and execute. The food was plentiful and delicious. I especially loved the homemade pretzel they made with my husband and I's initials; what a special surprise!
Special shout out to Faith who took on the position of lead coordinator only a few months prior to my wedding. She quickly caught up and truly delivered on the day. I had very high expectations for my wedding day and they completely went above and beyond my wildest imagination! -

We had our wedding at the Museum of the American Revolution in August 2023, and Brulee far exceeded all of our expectations. Throughout the planning process, they were super accommodating to all of our requests, no matter how big or small. On the day of our wedding, the only way to describe the day was pure magic. We had numerous guests tell us it was the best wedding they had ever been to. Not only is the museum venue stunning and fun in and of itself, but Brulee is a well-oiled machine that makes everything run smoothly from start to finish. Every single staff member was friendly, helpful, and professional. They executed everything we asked them to do perfectly, and they went above and beyond. The food was the best wedding food we've ever had. It was delicious, and the entrees came out fast (and piping hot!). Not a single detail we discussed with them was overlooked, even down to the small things like placement of drink stirrers and cocktail napkins. Even all the table linens were ironed nicely. We were truly blown away by Brulee thanks to Lorena and the entire team. There's nothing we would have changed or done differently thanks to their flawless execution. Book the Museum of the American Revolution with Brulee for your wedding! -

Brûlée catered our wedding at the Museum of the American Revolution in Philadelphia in November 2022. We cannot say enough good things about them. From the very beginning, Stacy guided us through the planning process and made everything simple and enjoyable. We didn’t have to worry about a thing. The food was excellent — our guests gave tons of compliments — and the day-of staff were amazing. The venue was stunning, and the Brûlée team made sure everything was set up just as we had planned.
Everyone at Brûlée worked hard to make our day extra special and wonderful, and we could tell that they took great pride in their work. If you’re considering Brûlée catering and/or a Brûlée venue for your wedding, absolutely do it! You will not regret it. They are absolutely fabulous! -

We had our wedding at Liberty View in Old City, where Brulee Catering is the exclusive caterer for the space. We worked with Bianca in the months leading up to the event and she was amazing. Super responsive and helpful with ideas and suggestions. I was one of those DIY brides with decor and Bianca and Brulee and the Liberty View team were super helpful with coordinating placement, drop-off, setup, and take down. We even did a tablescape meeting, which I don't think is normal unless you have a planner/designer. Overall, the evening was amazing. The Brulee team were fantastic with cocktail hour and the reception.
The food was amazing. They were able to coordinate a vegan entre option and a few vegan stations for cocktail hour, which several of our guests were very thankful for. -

Carol Short and the entire team at Brulee Catering were the best. They made planning our wedding day so easy and such a great experience. On the actual day all the food was delicious and anything we needed or wanted they made sure we had. If you are looking for a catering company for your wedding or anything other big event, I would recommend this company hands down! -

We had Brulee cater our wedding at the National Constitution Center. From booking our wedding in winter of 2019 through our wedding day in June of 2021, Brulee was amazing to work with. Carol and Kacie from Brulee helped us navigate the process of postponing and rescheduling (and almost rescheduling again) with ease. The food was all incredible, and one guest said it was the best wedding meal they'd ever had. The Brulee staff took great care of us and our guests all day. We highly recommend Brulee for any event! -

Victoria and the team at Brûlée Catering provided the food for our micro-wedding at the Liberty View.
Victoria was a pleasure to work with. Even with 10 guests, we had a variety of hors d'oeuvres and small plate entrees to choose from.

Dan Dutch was amazing to work with from the very first email. Dan answered our emails immediately and came out to see the site. He was very easy going, which we could not have been more grateful for, after working with a large venue that cancelled our wedding due to covid. We had a small intimate microwedding on my parents farm. The entire plan changed the day of when there was a double hurricane headed for our outdoor wedding. Dan coordinated everything and made it a breeze. The quality of service was unparalleled, they literally did everything. Brûlée handled the linens, flatware, glasses, plates, tables, chairs, and bar. Looking back on the photos now, the attention to detail was just incredible. Every single person on the staff was delightful, professional, and they went above and beyond to make sure our guests were happy. Our guests told us it was truly the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to and raved about the food, specifically the braised short ribs. The entire night was magical. We will absolutely call Dan for the next event we host! -

Brulee Catering- Off Premises Event
I truly don't know how to express the hard work and dedication from the Brulee Catering team to make our rescheduled wedding reception from The Please Touch Museum to a Backyard reception so magical. The entire team was amazing to work with. Extremely responsive and helpful throughout the entire planning process. If you have a chance to work with Dan Dutch, he does the most amazing work and made our whole day perfect! The most helpful team out there! The food, service and bar were out of this world!! Highly recommend for any event! Simply beautiful and we will remember this day forever!! Thank you to all the Brulee Catering team in making our Corona Wedding the most perfect day ever! -

We absolutely love the Brulee Catering company as during the hardest time for our wedding clients they were a breathe of fresh air. Brulee Catering is absolutely amazing. One of the best, if not the best companies I’ve worked with for my wedding thus far. My wedding was scheduled for May 23, 2020 at ceremony was taking place at Free Library of Philadelphia. From the early onset of planning, Sammy who represented Brulee was phenomenal! She literally went above and beyond even though we were scheduled to only host our 1 hour ceremony there. Her service was incredible. Due to COVID-19, I unfortunately can’t have my ceremony there anymore. From the moment the news broke out about the pandemic, Brulee was attentive and helpful. Kelley became our contact and was equally as phenomenal as Sammy. She was super responsive, professional and truly understanding. She assisted in ways other venues couldn’t and it was literally a breath of fresh air working with her.
I would 10/10 recommended working with Brulee for any of their venues. My experience planning my wedding was definitely unconventional due to coronavirus, but Brulee made it as easy as possible. I truly appreciate their service and would recommend them over and over. -

Victoria and her team made sure our foodie needs were covered, plus all the other details I never realized went into catering (linens, table placement, schedule, etc. etc.). We are not cake people and wanted our main dessert to be ice cream sandwiches. Brulee made that happen, and more - 3 different kinds of macaron ice cream sandwiches and chipwiches! The hors d'oeuvres were fantastic and they made sure we got to eat that day. After the ceremony, a tray with two of every hors d'oeuvre was waiting in the bridal suite, so we could eat before cocktail hour. We were also served first for the meal (short rib/salmon!), so we could eat during speeches and be able to walk around to tables. Our guests complimented the food to us for weeks after the wedding. The food was extremely important to us, being foodies, and Brulee exceeded our expectations! -

It was all a dream!
WOW!! From start to finish, Cristina and her Brûlée team were more than just a catering service. They truly helped us throw the best party of our lives. Not only was the food prepared and served as if we were in an upscale restaurant in Philadelphia, but they were efficient, friendly, and professional in keeping to our strict timeline. We have been to many weddings in which the dinner service was late or took so long there was very little time for dancing, but the Brûlée team and service was exceptional on all accounts. We had many of our family members tell us how friendly the staff was. The flow of the night went off without a hitch and we cannot thank the Brûlée team enough.
We wanted an entrée that would appeal to the crowd, but also emphasize our amateur foodie style…and they delivered. We even changed our mind half way through the process and Chef had us over for a second tasting to ensure they nailed our culinary wishes. In the end, Brûlée created a meal we would most definitely eat out in the city – and made a point to eat on our wedding night! The attention to detail, from our Surf & Surf cocktail hour and a half, to our Turf & Turf dinner, they truly captured the essence of what we were looking for at our wedding. To name a few of the off-menu requests we were so impressed with; the CT-style hot, buttered lobster rolls, a beautiful seafood paella station, a Greek inspired cheese and charcuterie station, and an epic raw bar with what everyone told us was “the best tuna tartare they had ever tasted.” And, the crab cakes and lamb lollipops were INSANE. At our Sunday brunch our guests continued to gush about how delicious all of the food was.
Overall, Cristina listened to our ideas, provided insightful feedback, and left us speechless with the way our wedding turned out. She was patient and attentive in helping to create our dream wedding, while also being honest and using her years of experience to guide us towards what always turned out to be the right decision. Since our wedding was in the middle of a park in Center City Philadelphia, we were a little wary of having to build everything from scratch, but Cristina is incredibly talented and went out of her way to make the decision making easy and fun. Brûlée is one class act and Cristina was a blast to work with. Not to mention, one of the best kept secrets was Rosy, our day-of wedding assistant who tactfully shadowed us the entire night – she made sure we were able to try every single item on our menu, always have a drink in hand, and ensured we were having a spectacular time! We could not be more thankful for having Brûlée cater our wedding at Dilworth Park. The food, the service, the décor – it was all a dream!
