When I first got into contact with Brooke, I knew she would be the photographer we chose. She was so responsive, made us feel at ease, and made the process so fluid. Photographing with her was so fun and so comfortable! When we got out photos back, we were obviously in LOVE. But what struck me most, were how many moments she caught that I did not even remember. The wedding day became such a blur, and seeing those little moments made the memories flood back. We will cherish them for the rest of our lives. I cannot recommend her enough. -

We were so happy with Brooke for both our engagement and wedding photos. She is very responsive through planning and easy to work with. She is also very thoughtful and provides great recommendations.
We chose her initially because we liked her use of natural light and the warmth of her photos, and in addition to being thrilled with how the pictures turned out, our friends and family raved about them. Brooke’s turnaround time on the pictures was also much faster than we anticipated. We highly recommend her - you can’t go wrong with Brooke! -

Brooke (and Laura) ... wow! Thanks to the time and attention to dedicated to our special day, we will have memories for a lifetime. Memories that we will be able to pass down for generations. I cannot express my gratitude enough - our photos (engagement photos included) are so time less and perfectly capture each person emotion. Sometimes I feel as If I'm looking at a live picture. Thank you so much for everything and this won't be the last time we work together!

Brooke is everything you need in a wedding photographer! She is incredibly talented (!!!!), extremely professional, responsive, considerate, responsible, efficient and a passionate photographer. She is beyond easy to work with, which is such a relief because wedding planning is so involved. But with Brooke, we had a couple meetings and a walk through of the venue together and she was good to go. I didn't have to worry about anything because I knew she got it. Brooke is passionate about her work, talented at her craft and has tons and TONS of experience at doing this. Her style is absolutely gorgeous and her direction for picture poses is so easy to follow. She snaps the pictures quickly and makes it so unbelievably seamless. Her attention to detail is also amazing and the thoughtfulness in her photography shined through when I found that she had shot a few photos of my grandfather and I having a really meaningful conversation. I will treasure those forever. In addition, she edited in lightning speed given the thousands of photos she probably had to sift through. She even gave me beautiful previews to look at while I waited for the rest to come. AND the photo gallery she sent us was organized by the 'getting ready' 'ceremony' 'bride and groom portraits' reception' etc. It was a breeze to look through, save for printing, and share with others. We are so thankful to Brooke for capturing that special day in such a beautiful way. Seriously, don't look any further for a photographer. She is the ONE :) -

I should not need to convince you to hire Brooke, because, well, her work and personality speaks for itself, but if you need reassurance, keep reading:
We had our wedding on 10/16/2021, after postponing it a year. We had been communicating with Brooke since Oct 2018 (when we got engaged) and had an incredible experience with her and gained a lovely friend in the process. We found Brooke via instagram and saw she was willing to travel to Richmond. We were very drawn to her style and she is SUPER quick to respond to inquiries.
Brooke made my husband and I feel comfortable in front of the camera during our engagement shoot and by the time our wedding rolled around, we knew what to expect. Brooke's whole business is very professional and organized. We loved all of the blog posts (ie. what to wear during an engagement shoot, how much time to plan for photos during your wedding day), her online software was easy to use, and her contracts describing where and how to use her photos was clear and concise.
Our wedding day was pretty hectic. To have one more friend by your side (read: Brooke) while you are navigating the most stressful event you have ever planned, means the world. Brooke's cheery personality kept us smiling throughout the day, even with the rain that came down minutes before our ceremony. She is level-headed and quick to adapt, no matter what is thrown her way.
Our wedding was a bit unconventional, where we had men and women on both sides of the wedding party, as well as 2 friends that were our officiants. Brooke was inclusive and had no issues. She was able to capture all of the unique details of our wedding without a problem and made sure nobody felt left out.
We were fully confident that Brooke would be able to capture our wedding and she delivered over 1000 photos to us. My husband and I had not even been married for a week and we were already flipping through our entire digital photo gallery of our wedding on our honeymoon. Let me tell you, they are STUNNING. We have had multiple people message us saying that the photos from our wedding are some of the best they have ever seen.
We thoroughly enjoyed having Brooke as our photographer. You will not regret doing the same! -

Best Photographer Around
Brooke was absolutely amazing for our wedding last weekend. She went above and beyond to capture beautiful shots and she asked us questions to get raw emotion in our pictures which I love! She was very flexible on the day of and made sure that we got all of the shots that we wanted through the chaos of the wedding day. She also sent us some pictures from the wedding shortly after the wedding ended and she got all of our wedding pictures back to us in three days which was unbelievably fast and so exciting for us! She also kept great communication before and after the wedding. We will definitely be working with Brooke again for whatever photography needs that we have in the future! -

Brooke was absolutely amazing!!! Hired her 4 days before my wedding and she did an outstanding job!!! Captured everything! Could not have asked for a better photographer! Excellent, Personable, Stress Free Service
Brooke is not only a great photographer to capture your special day for any event, but also makes you feel like family. She is very personable, friendly, kind, and makes pictures fun/easy and stress free. She captured my engagement and wedding pictures and they turned out beautiful. She even got my now husband to have fun and feel comfortable enough with pictures who usually is camera shy! She was very organized with the timeline and I loved that I didn't have to stress about what pictures needed to be taken with who, what and where at specific times. She took care of all that and even my family and friends were very impressed. She is so passionate about what she does and puts all effort into every photo she takes and edits and I really admire that about her. ***ALSO something huge for me was she also has an amazing quick turn around on getting the pictures back within just a few days. That was awesome to me because some photographers in the past take weeks just to get you yours back. I highly recommend hiring someone like Brooke because you will not be disappointed and you might just make a new friend too :) -

If you are looking for a down to earth professional who just ‘gets it’ hire Brooke. When my now husband and I were searching for wedding photographers there was a certain style and price point I was interested in and there were 4 or 5 vendors we talked to before we chose Brooke. She happened to be the very last one we interviewed and also the best, something just clicked! Brooke did a face time session with us to get to know our personalities, what we liked about her work, how we operate as a couple, if we liked being photographed, what we were looking for in a photographer- she basically asked all the right questions and made us feel super comfortable and like friends.
We hired her and I could not be more pleased with the outcome of both our engagement shoot and our wedding photos. Her attention to detail, and to what was important to both Chris and I was key and she captured literally everything I asked her to, plus more! I can say that I have recommended her to everyone that has asked me for a photographer, including two of my friends getting married in the next few months. She is really just a gem of a person and so talented, I highly recommend her.

Brooke was completely amazing. We had originally booked another photographer for our elopement wedding, but the day of the weather was so bad that our original photographer was worried about making it out with the road conditions where she lived. She asked around if any other photographers would be willing to pick us up last minute to make sure we had a photographer, and Brooke was ready to jump right in! Three hours later, she was there at our venue ready to go! She was so positive to work with! We had a small portrait shoot at a nearby park before the actual ceremony and the photos were absolutely magical. She was willing to go tread through the mud with us to get to the perfect location and was completely open to suggestions of photo ideas we had. She was also super helpful with pose suggestions that ended up being amazing. Then she also got wonderful photos of the ceremony and all the family portraits after. And then Brooke completely surprised us by completing our gallery mere days after our wedding. And the photos are simply stunning. My husband and I were (and still are) completely blown away by them! They’re artsy and moody and we’re in love with them. I would definitely recommend Brooke to anyone looking for a wonderful photographer and wonderful experience. Thank you so much, Brooke!

My husband and I were married September 30th, 2017 and had a great experience with Brooke Silverman Photography. We were so fortunate to work with Brooke who is very responsive and just a dream to have as our wedding photographer. Brooke was very attentive, took amazing photos, and was aware of all the great areas around our venue that made for beautiful shots. Brooke Silverman Photography offers great value for their services and we would highly recommend Brooke. She also did our engagement photos, which were absolutely stunning! My husband and I are so incredibly happy with our photos, we couldn’t imagine anyone else as our wedding photographer! Brooke is forever a part of our family! We just absolutely love her, her spirit and all-around good vibes!

We had our edited photos in less than 24 hours and they were incredible. Brooke helped us figure out poses and worked with us and our two fur babies to get some neat shots. Would highly recommend Brooke for any photography services you may need! Very professional and fun to work with.
