I booked Brooke Rockwell for my bridal hair and for all of my bridesmaids' hair. We had two stylists come to our location and do an absolutely amazing job for all of the girls! They were so effecient and everyone was so happy with their results, I could not reccommend them more!

For my September, 2023 wedding, I wanted hair that complimented my dress, was soft, would hold all day and night, and was entirely different from my 6 bridesmaids' hair despite them having their hair up. My mom and mother-in-law have short hair, and they wanted styles that were different from their everyday looks.
Brooke and her assistant gave 9 women hair that we felt beautiful with, and each style was completely unique! All of our hair held up for over 12 hours- we were all up until 4 a.m. they morning after our wedding and Brooke and her assistant styled our hair from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00-ish a.m. the day of our wedding. My veil also fell out several times throughout pictures and you couldn't tell my hair had been touched at all. I can't recommend Rockwell Hair Design enough for their work and professionalism!

Hair Perfection
Brooke Rockwell Hair Design completed the look for the wedding of my dreams. Brooke and Harbor were so patient working with the crazy group that we were and created the most beautiful looks for each of my bridesmaids and flower girls. Even at the end of the night after hours of dancing, my hair as well as the entire bridal party's hair held perfectly! I cannot compliment Brooke and Harbors talent for giving everyone exactly what they asked for. They created the most BEAUTIFUL Rapunzel inspired looked for my flower girls who were in LOVE with their hair.
I cannot say enough or put into words what a great experience I had with Brooke Rockwell Hair Designs. They arrived early at my venue, flew through 10 people (all with different ideas) and did so with style and grace.

Brooke has been styling my hair for nearly 15 years and she did my hair for my wedding. She styled 5 of us for the wedding. We all looked amazing! She came a long way to my house to style us. Beautiful Hair with Down to Earth Stylists
I am so happy and feel so lucky that Brooke's Salon was able to do my hair on my wedding day! Shannon was able to style hair for 8 girls hair in less than 4 hours, and many of the girls had thick, long hair. Shannon is so sweet, fun, and made the morning fun! We had our hair done in the salon and our makeup vendor (Allison Renock) was there as well. We were able to relax in their beautiful salon, listen to music, and eat breakfast as we took turns getting pampered. It was one of my favorite parts of the wedding weekend, and everyone looked and felt so beautiful, and their hair stayed that way the whole wedding day. Brooke and Shannon are so down to earth and made the whole process easy. They are very reasonably priced. You can't go wrong by booking their services!

I care a lot about my hair and wanted my hair to be perfect for the big day. Brooke Rockwell did an excellent job – she listened to my hyper-specific wants on the hair style for the day. The trial run went well – it was a windy day in Pittsburgh and the curls stayed! On the day of the wedding, Brooke and her assistants were accommodating to the bridal party. She even allowed our make-up artist to come to the salon and get her work done. My hair looked gorgeous and stayed all day. Thank you, Brooke!

Brooke Rockwell and her team are spectacular! I chose Brooke because I had been to her salon at Nova Place numerous times when I worked for the property development company. Asking Brooke to do my wedding-day hair was a no brainer. She is so down-to earth and worked with me to translate my vision into a hairstyle that fit my style. She and her team were so flexible and were even able to style my group of 12 women (plus one adorable flower girl) in about 2.5 hours before heading to do another bridal party on the same day. The fact that they could fit my group in, knowing that they already had a wedding booked across town, meant the world to me. They are hard workers, extremely skilled, and the styles really complemented my bridesmaids and made them feel confident. I would recommend Brooke Rockwell to every bride!

Brooke did a great job on my hair trial and my hair on my wedding day. She was so responsive to what I wanted and helped make changes the day of to make sure I was happy with my hair. She did some of my bridesmaids and brought an assistant, Harbor, to do the rest of my bridesmaids. Everyone's hair was exactly how they wanted and looked so good all night! Brooke is also super sweet and great to have around on the morning of your wedding!!

Shannon and Christina did the hair of myself, 3 bridesmaids, mother, and mother-in-law for my wedding, and we all could not have been happier! I went into my trial with only a vague idea of what I wanted, and Shannon patiently and cheerfully helped me try different things until we got it just right. The day of, I had no doubts I was in good hands! Shannon and Christina found the perfect updo's for my bridal party that both complimented each other, while remaining uniquely them, and my hairstyle was EXACTLY what I wanted. Shannon and Christina were personable and friendly, and managed to wrangle my very straight hair into a curled up-do that lasted through crazy wind and a lot of dancing on my wedding day, and still looked great. I had a wonderful experience with Brooke Rockwell Hair Design! I have never been to her studio for any other services, but she was more than willing to take me as a client. We were able to conduct a trail 2 months in advance, during which we played with a few different style ideas. Brooke took her time with me and made sure my hair was exactly how I wanted. The day of the wedding, there were three people total who received styles from the salon. We were all able to have our hair done at the same time and in the same space. We were offered coffee and a chance to relax before the big day. The appointment was for noon that day and the reception did not conclude until 10pm but our hair looked just as it did that morning. Everything was perfect! My hair alone was $75.

She met us at our hotel and came to our room and was super comfortable and kind making us look beautiful! Brooke and her sister are so sweet and wonderful to work with. I appreciated her flexibility as I ended up changing the timing and adding on extra person last minute. All of my bridesmaids absolutely LOVED their hair. Would definitely recommend!!

I would DEFINITELY recommend working with Brooke and her team for your special day! Brooke Rockwell Hair Design was awesome! First, they were willing to accommodate just two in a bridal party which was a struggle to find someone who was willing to support less than 4. She was able to work with my day of timeline to support sending someone to the hotel for my MIL/SIL. They RAVED about working with Shannon from the studio and how much they loved their wedding day hair! I truly appreciated their service, they were affordable, professional and on-time! Christina from Rockwell Hair Design is fantastic! I am always behind so of course I was panicked two weeks before my reception and still trying to book someone. Brooke responded to my email immediately and they even managed to get me a hair trial before the big day. Christina has a lot of experience so she listened to my general description and then provided a few different examples that I could react to. The day of she came to my house and did my hair as well as three bridesmaids and my mother. It was super convenient and everyone really liked their styles! She left enough time that she could have redone someone's hair if needed. I would highly recommend Christina to anyone looking for someone to make their day special!

I can not thank Brooke enough for her talent, professionalism, and the way she helped make us feel and look beautiful on my wedding day! I had a small elopement-style wedding in Pittsburgh with <30 days to plan it. I made all of the arrangements with Brooke while I was out of state. I did not do a trial run or anything, I just trusted her talent. Brooke and I met on the day of my wedding and she did my beautiful up-do and did all the styling/up-dos for my mothers and guests. Regarding flexibility, I accidently texted the wrong "Brooke" in my phone on wedding day regarding changing rooms for hair/makeup. Brooke was a calming presence for me and she went with the flow and came with me to the new room. She is wonderful and I am so thankful to have met and worked with her.

Brooke and her team are wonderful. After a horrible hair trial at another salon, Brooke welcomed us in and was so sweet. She made sure my hair was exactly what I wanted and was so patient and kind. She is so professional and sweet, and they did all of our hair so quickly! She and Harbor did 10 girls' hair in probably 4 hours. Everyone loved their hair and it looked great. Highly recommend them!

Brooke and Harbor were pretty much fairy godmothers the morning of my wedding. They worked their magic on a total of 10 women and one flower girl. They are amazing what they do, and quick too! I've been going to Brooke for my hair care for the past...18 years!! It was an absolute no brainer for her to be the one to do my hair for my big day!! Brooke and Harbor did all the girls hair (bride, 5 braidsmaids, mother of the bride, and touch up for the mother of the groom) within 2 hours all at my mothers house!! I'm so glad I did the practice run since I had no idea how I wanted my hair...it was beyond beautiful! Of course all my girls knew exactly what they wanted and everyone looked absolutely gorgeous!!! Brooke and her, Harbor, sister were the vendors we chose for our wedding hair styling. The travelled to our hotel in the Bakery Square area and completed 10 woman's hair (9 updos and 1 short style) in about 2.5 hours. They were very professional and responsive when setting up my trial as well as timeline for day of plans and were extremely on time. All of the hairstyles were beautiful and I was ecstatic with my hair as the bride (better than I could have ever imagined). They were very pleasant and "in and out" in an extremely timely fashion and with very minimal hassle. Would absolutely recommend to anyone! Great value and a great experience.

Brooke was amazing. On the day of my trial she took over an hour to get everything perfect with my hair. She also asked for feedback on how it lasted throughout the day so we knew for the wedding day what we needed to change. I also had to change my trial date last minute and she worked with me on that as well. Brooke and her sister Harbor came to our venue to do my hair and my bridesmaids. They were both on time and had all of our girls ready well in advance. One of the girls asked to have her hair redone, because she wanted it down instead of an updo, and they redid it with no complaints. Brooke also took the time to show my mom and MOH how to put my veil in to minimize messing any of my hair up. I was very happy with my decision to use Brooke! My hair looked great well into the late night!

Harbor and Christina did hair and makeup for my April 18 wedding at the LeMont. My husband and I did our first look in the early afternoon, so Harbor and Christina came on location at 9 a.m. to ensure that hair and makeup for myself, my mom and my four bridesmaids would be done by noon. Both were so professional, yet easy going, and it was great to have them.
Christina worked with me to create a makeup look that was natural. She did an great job and my husband really loved it! All the girls looked great, and Christina gave us some lipstick for touchups.
Harbor had her work cut out for her because all the girls have a lot of hair! Her styles were gorgeous and they lasted through the morning, afternoon and evening! I was so impressed everyone's hair stayed in tact.

She graciously met me very early on a Sunday morning before my bridal shower to do a trial. My future mother-in-law was having a bit of trouble deciding how she’d like to wear her hair. Brooke did a trial with her, and also exchanged multiple emails with me to get it just right. Throughout our whole planning process, she was so laid back, easy to work with, and stress-free – she made my life easier! On our wedding day, she arrived on time, worked really well with our makeup artist, and everyone was finished on time. Everyone was really happy with their hair, and we all looked great! The curl in my hair only lasted a few short hours, but based off of her tips they lasted even longer the day of. The day was really windy and my hair didn't move from picture taking outside, even when my veil got swept up in it.

Brooke and Harbor did my hair and my bridal party's updo's for my wedding this past May and they were wonderful!! I couldn't of been happier with my choice!! They came to the hotel where we had the meeting room set up for the bridal party to get hair/makeup. It was fun working with them and they worked really quick. My updo was very involved with extensions and Harbor was very good. I didn't like how one part turned out and Harbor was patient with me and fixed it. It stayed in the entire wedding day and I received so many compliments!!

My hair is VERY difficult to work with, doesn't (usually) hold curls for more than a few hours, but I was determined to wear my hair down and curly. Brooke worked a miracle, and my curls held all day AND night! My bridesmaids' hair styles were great -- a mixture of up-dos and down-dos. I found Brooke Rockwell Hair Design from reviews on Wedding Wire and could not have been happier! I did my hair trial with Brooke even though Harbor and Crystal were the ones doing my bridal party's updos. She did a very good job but ensured that Harbor was the expert on updos, which I had read in reviews as well.
On the day of the wedding, Harbor and Crystal arrived 15 minutes early to our hotel where they did our hair. Everyone was very pleased with their hair except for one of my bridesmaids. She asked Harbor to look at it since it seemed to be coming out, and Harbor redid it for her since Crystal (the stylist who had done it) had left the hotel already.
I got lots of compliments on my hair. Also, it stayed in really well all night and the following day. It has now been two weeks, and a friend's father just mentioned how great my hair looked at the wedding. I highly recommend Harbor!

Therefore, I only recommend her to brides whose weddings will not interfere with my ability to get an appointment with her! During my hair trial, I brought about five different pictures, and Brooke managed to perfectly incorporate what I liked about each picture into a beautiful style. She and her sister came to our venue and styled my entire bridal party. One of my bridesmaids commented on how she could not believe that her hair actually had volume, and another couldn’t understand how her hair finally had the ability to hold a curl. My hair looked awesome for over twelve hours, from when Brooke finished styling it until the very end of the night.

She is an excellent hair dresser. My hair looked perfect on my wedding day and it stayed in most of the night. Some of the pins started popping out towards 8 pm because I was bouncing all around. Brooke and her sister, Arbor, came to my house and did everyone's hair. Arbor was also awesome. She put extensions on one of my maids her and it looked perfect. Everyone's style was beautiful and personalized to what they wanted. I had a trial done a few months before for my style, and, not knowing exactly what I wanted, Brooke come up with a beautiful updo. Her prices are very reasonable too ($60 for an updo), and it was so nice that she came to the hotel where we were getting ready so that we could relax and not have to run around the city. I highly recommend her!

Brooke is a fantastic stylist. We tried a few different options prior to the wedding and on the wedding day she traveled to my home to do my hair, as well as my bridesmaids. Brooke is super efficent, professional, and an overall great person. I would definely recommend Brooke Rockwell Hair Design!

Brooke was amazing! I am so glad that I booked her for our wedding day hair styling! I first met her for a haircut about 5 months before our wedding, so that I could get to know her and see her salon. Brooke is sweet, fun and makes you feel relaxed - she has a great personality :-) I then went for a hair trial about a month before our wedding and brought the flower I had made to wear in my hair (I decided against a veil). She did exactly what I had envisioned - on the FIRST try!
Brooke got to our venue early on the day of the wedding and did an amazing job not only on my hair, but on my MOH and my 5 year old daughter, who was our flower girl. My daughter felt like such a "big girl" and she looked absolutely beautiful. Brooke was so good with my little girl, which is, of course, hugely important to a mom. Brooke is incredibly fast, but extremely efiicient. The quickness of her work does not equate a rush job - she is very thorough. Everyone's hair lasted the entire day and into the evening. Her prices were incredibly reasonable and her presence was wonderful.
I will be returning to Brooke for my personal hair care needs - that is how much I liked her work. I HIGHLY recommend her for your wedding day! You will not be dissapointed!

Brooke was fantastic to work with for our wedding day. She and her staff are very responsive (which was helpful as an out of state bride) and helpful in navigating what I needed and how much time everything would take. It was so stress-free having her come to the hotel myself and my bridesmaids were getting ready in and the price was very reasonable and comparable, especially considering her traveling to us the day of. One less thing to worry about getting to a salon. The hair trial was helpful to get to know her and her work (which is fantastic). She and Harbor were very sweet and fit in with the girls for a fun morning getting ready for the big day- while not interfering too much either. I was very happy with how my hair turned out and how she incorporated some old pins from my grandmother into my style. Would definitely recommend Brooke to anyone!

Brooke's sister Harbor did the hair for me and my bridesmaids (5 people total), as well as a trial for me. She did a fantastic job!!! It rained on our wedding day, and we took pictures before the ceremony...my hair still looked fantastic and held up all night. I really loved how all my girls looked as well. She was also incredibly efficient, and finished all our hair in just over 3 hours! Plus, she came to my venue so we could do hair/makeup in the same place. I'd highly recommend Brooke Rockwell hair.

Great Service and Friendly Team
Brooke Rockwell Hair Design was super and made getting ready a breeze. They were super responsive to emails, and were very efficient in doing my five bridesmaids hair for my early afternoon wedding! I was super happy with how my hair turned out, and it lasted through the day!

Awesome wedding hair
Brooke Rockwell and her team are super talented, professional, and experienced. Brooke and her sister were so nice and flexible with my wedding party- they arrived to our bridal suite where we got ready the morning of the wedding, and styled 7 girls, myself, and 2 moms. Each person came in with a unique task for them and different styles of hair, and they really captured each girl and mom's personality with their hair styles. They were able to achieve the looks that my bridesmaids asked, and everyone's hair remained in tact throughout the evening. Brooke also gave me a really positive experience with my trial as the bride- she was my third hair person to have trial with so I had high hopes for her. She was kind, detail-oriented, thorough, and made sure that we got it exactly the way I wanted. She even held on to my extensions for me between my trial and the wedding to prep them. We couldn't have been happier with Brooke and her team- I ABSOLUTELY recommend them for wedding parties!!!

I had an amazing wedding day with Brooke and Harbor. They were able to come to our venue and work on all the bridal party + mothers which made it so much easier for us! Everything from the trial to the day-of was a positive experience. Brooke is a ray of sunshine on a sometimes stressful day and I would definitely recommend her.

Brooke was also so easy and great to work with. Because we had a lot of girls needing their hair done and her sister was doing another wedding that day, she brought along a friend and fellow hair stylist, Briana. I was really paranoid about having a crazy hair-do on my wedding day (the source of many wedding nightmares! Haha) but at the trial Brooke made me completely at ease. I knew she would be able to work with my complicated curls and on the wedding day, I LOVED my hair. I asked for a slight change in what we did in my trial and Brooke created such a gorgeous updo, it was exactly what I envisioned. Brooke and Briana were on time and got done with everyone with time to spare which was great because I really wanted to avoid rushing. They are both so talented and sweet, it was a great decision working with them!

Brooke was fantastic to work with and did amazing work! She spent about an hour with me during a practice session, where we tried several different looks,and she gave me good and honest advice. On the wedding day, she showed up early, and worked with each member of my bridal party to find what they wanted and what would work best with their hair. She was also extremely efficient, and finished an hour ahead of what we expected. Along with myself and my bridesmaids, she also did a special look for my mom and gram, both of who have short hair, and they looked amazing -- like themselves, but better! Our hair styles lasted all day too -- 2 of my bridesmaids actually were able to were their style the next day too! She was very relaxed and was a fun addition to my wedding morning.
The only thing that could have been better was her price ($65 per up-do), but she helped to make everything go so smoothly, that in the end I was happy to pay it.

Responsive and Professional
I worked with Shannon at Brooke Rockwell Hair Design. She was very professional and responsive. She did an excellent job on my hair (an updo with a hair piece). It was super great to have them travel to my location. Shannon came with one other stylist to complete 7 hairstyles. They were completed with time to spare which was great. The only complaint I have is that one of the bridesmaids had to re-curl her hair after they left with a curling wand because the curling iron they brought did not work with her hair type. Not that big of a deal so overall it was a great experience and I would highly recommend.
