Brilliant Magical Wedding Photographer

Wow, how do I even begin to describe how incredible Brio was?! From meeting her and her husband at a wedding expo, we fell in love with their style and approach to photography. We could tell they would always do what is best for the client, and were very easy to talk to. My husband and I have never been those to enjoy being in pictures, but Brio made all our time together feel natural and purposeful. Our engagement session was easy to pose for, as they created the moments and just captured us doing normal things, but in those things found beauty. She captured moments of emotion instead of focusing on just capturing an image. She was so driven by the love for her work, and knew how to work efficiently so as not to get stressed. On our wedding day, she arrived with a lovely positive attitude, and never pressured any of us to feel rushed even though we had so many photos to get through. Brio was so inspired while working which was so easy to see when she would bring us to various spots just to get a lovely shot. She paid so much attention to detail and it absolutely shows. We could not be happier with her work and hope that everyone can hire her and experience her amazing work! Cheers.

Worth. Every. Penny.

Brio & team are amazing. As plus-sized brides we were concerned with the overwhelming white & blonde presence in wedding photography. However, right away Brio made us feel comfortable and blew us away with the stunning pictures from our engagement shoot. We opted out of videography just so we could book Brio. Were they on the more expensive side? Yes, absolutely. But they way they capture lighting, moments, details, etc. is unparalleled. We will keep this pictures for our lifetime and are SO pleased with how they turned out. If you're questioning it, don't. Brio's work speaks for itself.

Brio is Fun, Creative, and so Nice

Brio photography did an amazing job on my wedding and engagement photos! She and her husband make pictures feel fun, especially for my husband who doesn't like taking photos. They were really creative and did an amazing job posing my large wedding party and making sure every single shot I asked for was delivered. They kept everyone happy and kept to timelines. Plus their packages are both quality and affordable-- I can't recommend them enough to everyone!

Truly the best photographers ever!

The very first vendor my husband and I booked for our wedding was Brio and her team, and we could not possibly be happier with that decision. Photography can really make or break how you remember your wedding experience, and thanks to them we will have beautiful memories captured to cherish for many years. Brio did both our engagement shoot and our wedding photography, handling both with care, creativity, and great professionalism. We were nervous about photographing well (as many couples are), but they were able to make us feel comfortable and help us capture the joy and love that we’ve shared for over 10 years. Their editing and storage of our pictures was and is also phenomenal, truly. We highly recommend making Brio, Aoib, and the rest of their team a part of any event you’re wanting to capture!

Fantastic photos and photographers!

We had a fantastic experience with Brio. We had our wedding at Umlauf and Brio is a preferred vendor. They are a husband and wife team who are each incredibly talented photographers in their own right. They really got to know us and took stunning engagement and day-of photos in the sun, golden hour and low light. They put us at ease and we had a lot of fun working with them. Couldn’t recommend Brio any more highly!

Wonderful service for beautiful photos!

It was wonderful to work with Brio Photography for my daughter’s wedding. First, we used Brio for an engagement shoot that came out amazing, and really showed captured the love between our daughter and her fiance. We also used Brio for the ceremony and reception. They were very professional and captured the day well. Overall, we were very happy with them. As a venue owner, we will definitely continue to recommend them!

Highly Recommend

Brio and her assistant were wonderful to work with! The bride and groom both have large families and wanted numerous combinations of shots -- they were patient while various members were rounded up and we got all the requested shots! They even took candid shots during the reception -- not every professional is comfortable with candids.

Brio made us feel like super heroes at our own wedding

We found Brio at the Austin Wedding Expo. They had a huge booth with awe inspiring pictures. We were looking for innovative photographers who specialized in night photography. They truly fit the bill. Edwin and I met each other while rock climbing so Brio suggested that we try to find a place in downtown Austin where we could pretend to climb for our engagement pictures. We had a hard time finding a place but Brio found the side wall of a garage. With a little bit of cool lighting and Brio's magic, she took a picture that made us look and feel like super heroes climbing the wall. They are the photographers that you go to if you want to try something different from the boring typical wedding pictures. They are super creative and they will make you look good.

Another thing is that I am not photogenic at all. I try to follow the tactics online but it never seems to work. But, Brio saved me. She gave me verbal and physical cues that helped me to get over my fear of taking pictures. I looked great in all of them.

On the day of the wedding, Aoib gave the grooms party pointers on how to look sharper and dapper while they were doing the getting ready pictures in the groom’s suite at Allan House. He had interesting stories to keep the groom’s party at ease. He continued with those stories and really knew how to persuade the families and friends to cooperate for the pictures. Brio also, knew how to keep a lighthearted and fun vibe while taking the many pictures that are needed for the bride and groom. She really went out of her way to get us some amazing shots. We cannot wait to see the final pictures in a few weeks. Choose Brio as your wedding photographer! You won’t regret it.

One word, AMAZING! Brio and her husband are a fabulous team and made my husband and I feel so comfortable. We truly can't say enough good things about Brio and highly recommend! She is so talented and has such talent and it is reflected in the photos.

Lovely experience

I have only the best things to speak of my experience with Brio. My maid of honor and I were at the Bridal Extravaganza, not planning to actually book anything, but just to get an idea of what I wanted/get to know some vendors. I talked with Brio and saw her photos, wandered around and looked at some of the other vendors photos...I kept going back to Brio in my head. After the extravaganza, I spoke with my fiance, showed him photos and we started the process of booking. We HAD to have her.

She really got to know us as a couple to perfectly capture who we are and what vibe we're going for. We had so much fun with her at our engagement session at Sekrit Theater. She is such a bubbly, positive person. She was great with guiding us since we were nervous at first. She totally puts you at ease. The pictures came out beautiful and we got REALLY excited about what she would capture on our wedding day.

The day of was a little bit of a blur as to be expected. We trusted Brio to do her thing and she totally nailed it. She gave us a sneak peak of the sunset photos and we were already itching to see what else she was capturing that night! The photos she got are absolutely stunning. I've looked at all 800 of them so many times I lost count. She caught some of the most goofy, special, heartwarming and amazing quality photos that will stay with us forever. The photos truly captured how beautiful and special that day was to us and our loved ones.

Book Brio. You won't regret it. She's an incredible photographer and such a beautiful person inside and out.

Brio Was AMAZING. When we decided to hold a military barn wedding - finding the right photographer became the biggest challenge. Not everyone can photograph a rusty tractor and get the light perfect. After a lot of searching and talking to other barn venues we found Brio. She was perfect, the pre engagement photos session she did made us look like super models. We couldn't be happier with our choice. Brio was highly professional, highly responsive and always punctual. We held our wedding at a Ranch in Florence texas (elmcreekranchtexas.com) and cant wait for the final pictures to post some more.

Brio and her husband did an amazing job with my wedding! They truly captured all the important moments and even got extra footage! All my guests loved them as they were not in their face the whole time - they were more off to the side capturing all the beauty of the venue, details, people, etc... They gave us an amazing night portrait and it turned out beautiful. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great photographer for the best day of your life!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Brio. She made us feel so comfortable during the engagement session, and really listened to our vision of what we wanted our engagement photos to look like. She and her husband captured the wedding beautifully, even the minor details that we would have otherwise missed. She worked very will with our coordinator as well, and was always at the right place at the right time to capture every moment. We couldn't be more happy with our experience with Brio and Aoibhstin!

Brio and her husband were absolutely amazing to work with. We initially chose to work with them because I loved her portfolio of wedding/engagement photos and her pricing/packages included everything we were looking for. Brio first did our engagement photos and we had a lot of fun with those. My husband and I ride dirt bikes and we wanted to incorporate those in the engagement photoshoot. They did an amazing job pulling that off and we loved how the photos turned out. It made me feel 100% confident that the wedding photos would turn out great and they absolutely did! Brio and her husband captured every special moment of our day and were so easy to work with. It was honestly the best decision we made with the entire wedding.

Brio and her husband Aoibhstin were incredible. They photographed our wedding in Dripping Springs in February and we could not be happier with their work. The pictures and our wedding book are so fanstastic, we get complemented on them all the time and they were even featured in a wedding blog. It was very important to us that our wedding party and guests felt comfortable with our photographers, and Brio was such a perfect fit. We felt so comfortable and natural through the whole day. We never felt cheesy or stressed at all, and their laid back attitude was very calming. They took the most beautiful nighttime picture of us and the stars that truly highlighted their talent and we are so grateful, because we know it took a bit of setup. Brio and her husband did a fantastic job with our engagement photos and wedding photography! We loved her style and found her suggestions helpful (for instance, using the UT campus for engagement photos.......even though I am an Aggie=)). We had a blend of Nigerian and American cultures in our wedding, which was captured beautifully on film! They also did a great job of compiling and helping us edit our wedding album! Highly recommend!

We had so much fun with Brio! She is energetic, spontaneous, and definitely knows how to work with what she has. The best part, is her candid photographs. I wasn't into the poised, stand at attention and everyone smile at the same time kind of pictures. I wanted the photograph she caught of us laughing about something or the my husband looking at me and me not knowing. Everyone raved about our engagement pictures because they were unique, which is what I was going for! Brio was very informative from the get go and along the way. She explained what she offered and how things would flow and most importantly, asked what I wanted and expected. We definitely would choose Brio again! She definitely knows what she is doing!

Brio was a BLAST to work with! I knew from the moment I met her at the Bridal Extravanganza that I wanted to work with her! There are not enough words to describe how wonderful our experience was with Brio and her husband. We met them at a Bridal Expo; after speaking with LOTS of other photographers we knew right away that they were the ones we needed to have at our big day. Between her husbands (who is the second photographer) witty charm and her comforting, inviting smile, we knew they would be perfect! We thought her pricing was great, until we actually saw our photos after the fact, and they we knew we had gotten a steal! They captured every important moment from the whole day. (Which lasted forever. Ha.) Our wedding photos are a perfect blend of sincere candid moments and amazing posed formals. She made the process of scheduling/setting up/planning a breeze. Which as a bride who planned everything on her own, I really appreciated. I could go on and on about everything we loved about our experience. We will absolutely schedule any future photo sessions with her!

Brio is AWESOME! From the moment I did my consultation I knew she was our photographer. She is so friendly, sweet, attentive and she listened to what we wanted! She took our engagement photos and totally rocked it! People are still talking about our save the dates and saying they look like something out of a magazine! My husband and I met at a bar so we wanted to recreate that downtown, upscale bar scene. The pictures were perfect. She got a beautiful picture of my husband holding his beer and me holding my wine so we printed that picture for the bar at the wedding (since we did beer and wine) and let me just say, people thought that was not only perfect but it looked BEAUTIFUL at the bar. I'm going to be honest at the end of the night I was a little nervous about how the pictures would turn out because I saw her maybe twice the entire wedding...but OMG when we got the pictures back! She captured such beautiful, perfect moments that we will cherish forever and I have no idea how she did it. I was sceptical about not having a second photographer but those pictures made it look like there were two of them! She got my husband and his groomsmen in their suite, me and my girls, me coming down the aisle and she even got my sweet husband shedding a tear as I walked down ;) Brio went above and beyond and she is worth every penny. Photography is probably the most important aspect of the wedding because you will cherish those pictures for the rest of yoir life. Brio worked with our budget and went above and beyond in every way possible. We cannot thank her enough she truly is the best.

Photographers are so important because the photos are what remain of that special day. When I was looking at different options, most photographers just didn't have that charm that I was looking for. It's clear that in Brio's work you can see the passion she has for her craft. She can have a playful air or a serious romantic tone, whatever the situation calls for. She definitely has the eye for great photo moments. Not only that, but she has been a wonderful person to talk to. She was so sweet and helpful through the process and then on the day of, she was a cheerful, fun person to be around. Brio is absolutely amazing and I would recommend her to anyone!

Brio was our photographer for our wedding reception (we eloped for our ceremony portion). We used Brio as she had done my sister-in-law's wedding event years before on the family ranch. Brio was not only familiar with the location but was able to catch so many perfect moments (despite clear skies or grey we happened to have that day) of food, decor, the venue itself, family, and friends. In addition to posed pictures and some family portraits, Brio was fantastic at capturing organic and natural laughs, smiles, and conversations between so many groups of friends and family. Twice now everyone has loved the photos we got back and our wedding events on the family ranch are now captured forever in the most perfect memories.

Brio is fabulous! Not only is she technically great- her photos are gorgeous with beautiful lighting and rich colors- she's wonderful to be around! She made my husband, our family and me feel so comfortable.

Our wedding photos came out beautifully! She helped us pick some great backgrounds and helped us pose to look our best. We've been showing everyone our photos and making tons of albums :)

Great photographer! Brio captured the best moments of our wedding. The beauty of Texas autumn will stay forever in those pictures. They are work of art. We had horses in our wedding - Brio had no problem with them and handled all pictures with animals beautifully. But the way she made me feel during photo shoot was the most enchanting experience. I was the most beautiful bride ever, the model on a runway, the center of attention. Brio really made our wedding special, and the memories she captured with her camera will stay with us forever.

Where to begin?! Our engagement was a whirlwind and we were all over the place. We didn't even have a chance to meet with Brio before our big day other then phone calls. I was honestly terrified but Brio was so patient, so warm and friendly and overall just amazing. My husband and I felt so comfortable with her and it showed in our phenomenal photos. My biggest concern was that I am very pale and my husband is African American, so shadows and lighting were so important. She did an incredible job!! We had two ceremonies, one Nigerian and one American and she captured them perfectly. We couldn't be happier and are forever indebted to Brio for capturing our special day. Thank you, thank you, thank you and always remember, that you and your family will always be welcome at any of our family events in the future!!

Brio was an absolute blast to work with! I have never been a part of a shoot before, so I felt a little amateur. I cannot say enough good things about Brio!! She was patient and professional but also fun and totally on-board with our odd requests. She toured the venue with me, found perfect spots to photograph, and the photos ... Oh, the photos! I was joking with my husband about blowing them up to be wall murals! And a friend just literally said, "These look like they are from a magazine." My only regret is that we didn't get a second shooter/assistant for Brio. I didn't think I would care that much about the photos but I had no idea how talented Brio would be at capturing all of these special moments. It was a magical day and the pictures will be something we will cherish forever!

Everyone always tells you that you get what you pay for and we got way more than what we were expecting from Brio. First of all she was so sweet and amazing during the entire process. She sent us a link that had some of her work and everything was beautiful. She helped us decided how long we needed a photographer and when to have a second photographer. The week before the wedding she sent us a check list so she knew exactly what pictures we wanted and if there were any special requests. On the day of the wedding she was so flexible and so sweet. She honestly just seemed thrilled to be apart of our day. She also made time to suggest additional photos that we might want. Her creativity really came through and we honestly love every picture. We just ordered a bunch of her photos to hang in our house and we can't pick which ones to display. We love them all and they honestly look amazing in both the digital version and printed. If we every need a photographer again we will call her before we call anyone else.

Brio was wonderful to work with! From our initial meetings while trying to choose a photographer (multiple of them - she was very patient!) to the day of. We absolutely made the right decision. The venue was brand new so she met us at an open house once it was complete to get a feel for the space and we were able to discuss our ideas well before the big day. She has an online questionnaire which was helpful - be detailed here as she takes it to heart and makes sure the day is just as you'd like it. Brio was also a great resource for wedding planning, offering her advice on timeline and best practices. The photos themselves were wonderful! Great selection of detailed shots and a cross section of the entire day. She was timely in getting a sneak peak and the whole package of them to you. I can't stop looking through them! No regrets here - highly recommend!

Brio was the best photographer we could have ever asked for! Upon meeting her, I felt completely at ease. She is personable, kind and professional. When she showed up on the wedding day she was ready to go, full of ideas and never interfering with any of the day, rather she was a HUGE help when it came to organizing our large families and wedding party for pictures and had the most wonderful eye for catching the perfect lighting or backdrop. Your wedding day can be stressful - and Brio is a positive, wonderful stress-reliever. Members of the bridal party mentioned multiple times how great Brio was - she just made everything so easy and was up for anything we wanted to do. Her assistant was also incredibly friendly and they worked as an amazing team. I never felt the need to ask for a picture of anything the entire 11 hours they were with us because they were always already on top of it! The reason I hired Brio (before meeting her) was because her price was reasonable and I loved the light in her pictures I had seen. When we received our pictures (early - I might add!) my breath was taken away. She captured every moment the way I would've hoped they could've been captured. They were beyond gorgeous. I cannot thank her enough for these pictures that we will treasure for our lifetime and look forward to using her in the future for all of our family occasions. Thank you, Brio!!

Brio was the photographer for our Wedding Reception at Parkside restaurant in downtown Austin. Our reception included two step lessons and live music by Dale Watson. People were in PARTY MODE and Brio captured all of it! Shots included everything from flattering portraits to artistic moments, intimate images to raucous revelry. Our friends and family have raved about the wonderful pics, and we have beautiful images to last us a lifetime.

Equally impressive were her wonderful service skills. If you want someone with boundless energy, who is a breeze to work with, this is your photographer. Somehow, she seemed to be everywhere at once. Getting pictures of the "happy couple" and every single friend (truly: I found pictures of all 100+ guests!) And, she did all of that with a continuous smile and friendly laugh.

We've already discussed non-wedding reasons to hire her in the future. And, we can't recommend her highly enough!

My friend is in the event industry in Austin and recommended Brio. My husband and I were on a tight budget but were willing to spend a little more on the photos to document our day. Brio provided so many beautiful photos at a price still lower than I was quoted by many photographers. As a bonus to the great photos we also really enjoyed working with her. She is fun and energetic and helped us feel comfortable. I didn't notice her during the ceremony even though she captured great photos, which I actually really appreciated. We just received all the photos and are thrilled with how they turned out. We are so happy we chose Brio to document our wedding!

Brio did our engagement session and wedding photos, and both were amazing. We couldn't have asked for a better experience working with Brio, and the photos turned out beautifully. We got so many compliments on Brio's professionalism and direction from family and the wedding party. She really listened to what we wanted and more than delivered. For instance, I didn't want to spend a lot of time on photos after the wedding, as I wanted the focus on the party. She got all the photos we wanted, quickly, and they turned out beautifully. We were able to join the party even before expected...it was awesome! Everyone who has seen our photos tells us they are the best wedding photos they've ever seen and asks, "Who was your photographer?" It always puts a smile on my face, because choosing Brio for our engagement session and wedding was the best decision we made! Plus, the price was an absolute bargain for what we got. Brio was simply amazing!!!! She was great to work with leading up to the event with quick replies to emails and questions and an absolute pleasure on event day. I am actually a wedding vendor myself, so when it came to picking a photographer for my own event, I knew what to look for and what to avoid. Though I had never worked with Brio before, I knew she would be great..... Well, she was!

The photos were absolutely amazing! She took into account what we were looking for and delivered above and beyond anything that was expected. The staged photos were great, but even more amazing was the way she captured the details and action of our event. High quality beautiful images and an absolute pleasure to have at our event.

I LOVE Brio! Not only is her work GORGEOUS, but her bright, positive spirit and professionalism were such a wonderful presence at our wedding. The moment Brio started photographing, my husband and I both said to each other hiring her was one of the best decisions we made for the wedding. I happened upon Brio's wedding photography through serendipity. While we were hemming and hawing about whether or not we could afford to hire a professional photographer, Brio graciously worked with us to craft a photography package that we could afford with the shots we knew we really wanted to capture.

The moment the wedding started, we knew having Brio there was worth every penny, if not more so. She did such a great job directing us, making us feel comfortable, helping corral all of our family and wedding party, and blending into the background during the ceremony. Brio shot our downtown Austin engagement session and will be shooting our upcoming wedding. I was nervous and don't like taking "forced" photos, but Brio made both my fiance and me super comfortable and we had a lot of fun! She took the time to get to know us as a couple, which definitely helped my comfort level and made the photos even more personal and memorable. We'll have these memories and the photo proof of our love for the rest of our lives. Plus, she had various neat locations planned out so our photos were fun and out-of-the-box. During the whole wedding planning process, Brio's been very available and has really listened to what we want on our big day. I'm beyond excited that she'll be shooting our wedding in just a few short weeks, and I can't wait to see all of the wonderful photos!

Brio was amazing and I highly recommend! She knew what kinds of pics to take and how to take them. My friend, who is a professional photographer, along with everyone else were amazed at the final results. The pictures looked so natural, they didn't look (over) edited. If you hire Brio, you will get amazing pictures from your wedding day (or whatever other kind of day) and have one less thing to worry about. My only regret is not doing more time and extra pictures!

Brio was amazing to work with on my very special wedding day! First we started with the Engagement photos and had a blast! Brio had a great location for us to shoot, a fun bicycle to ride and be goofy on, which she knows worked well for us! We ended with some sweet romantic shots overlooking downtown Austin that I will cherish forever! Then, we had a smaller intimate ceremony and Brio captured every little detail in the most amazing way; from composition to color - from the getting ready (with my kitties!) to the chapel and especially my bridal party and family. Brio's smile is contagious and her energy is exciting. She is a ball of light and happiness and I will never use another photographer again! She was prompt, professional, and poised. Brio is equal parts professional, innovative and creative. Add in that killer smile, phenomenal sense for lighting, and hair that won't quit. Her patience and optimism are endless and oh so helpful when it's the most important day of your life!!! :-) She helped me keep my cool after a diva make up artist near fiasco during my bridal shoot. Brio was right on spot capturing our wedding day on my husbands family 110 year old farm that has meant so much to him growing up. The photos were so beautiful and the next day sneak peak was a nice surprise! The turn around time for all the photos was a short 3 weeks, and all the pictures were so beautiful. I felt like I relived that special day all over again! Brio was very professional and working with her was so easy and such a pleasure!!

Brio is without a doubt the most talented photographer I've ever worked with. She doesn't simply capture a photo, her pictures encapsulate the emotion and atmosphere of the event/person. Brio was absolutely fabulous! I cannot say enough good things about her. Her pictures were beautiful. Something that I was really adamant about was that the photographers not be too intrusive during the ceremony and reception. Brio and her assistant were everywhere, getting wonderful shots, but it was almost like you didn't know they were there. She was also very good about taking the shots we wanted. I didn't want a lot of staged shots of us getting ready, so she was just in our bridal suite shooting away while everyone was getting ready. She is really wonderful, and I even had guests comments on how friendly and nice our photographer was. I would recommend her for any event. She also took our engagement photos, and they turned out beautifully.

I am very picky about photography and Brio more than exceeded my expectations. She took great photographs, worked with my difficult bridal portrait situation (we included our dogs) and even made my husband at ease when doing the engagement portraits. I would recommend Brio for wedding or commercial photography. Her work is professional, creative and timely.
