We hired DJ Jason through Bright Set Entertainment for our wedding, and he was absolutely fantastic! From start to finish, DJ Jason brought incredible energy and professionalism to the occasion. His setup was beautiful, and he was completely self-sufficient, which made the whole process so smooth and stress-free for us.
The music was perfect, keeping our guests on the dance floor all night long, and his ability to read the crowd was spot-on. It was clear he has a lot of experience and knows how to create the right vibe for any event.
We also want to give a special shout-out to Bright Set Entertainment for being extremely communicative and thorough throughout the entire process. From the initial booking to the event day, they kept us well-informed and made sure everything went according to plan.

Bright Set Entertainment was absolutely incredible! We wanted a Bridgerton feel for our cocktail hour, and their string trio with trumpet created the exact ambiance we imagined—elegant, warm, and completely magical. They were wonderfully communicative from the start and went above and beyond to help us problem-solve heating for the musicians so they could perform comfortably outdoors. Their music added so much beauty to the day, and so many of our guests commented on how perfectly it elevated each moment. We’re so grateful we chose them and would recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone looking to bring their wedding atmosphere to life. -

Bright Set Entertainment was absolutely fantastic, and we cannot recommend them enough. We used them for our wedding and got a package that included two live musicians for our ceremony and cocktail hour, a sound system for the ceremony, a DJ for the reception, and a photobooth.
From the start, Cassandra and Kimberly were a dream to work with! They were quick to respond over email and always willing to hop on calls to answer questions and finalize the timeline. They even reached out to our other vendors to confirm details and ensure everything stayed in sync. On the wedding day, they were present at the venue to personally oversee staff and ensure everything went smoothly. When an important guest was running late, they checked in with us and even called the guest directly to help with directions. Their constant presence and support throughout the entire process was impressive and their attention to detail and level of coordination made our wedding day perfect.
The ceremony musicians were absolutely fantastic. We selected over 30 specific songs for them to play during the day, and they played them all perfectly. They even learned and arranged a special song request that wasn't part of their song library, and it sounded great as well. We received so many compliments throughout the night about how beautiful everything sounded.
DJ Dennis was incredibly thoughtful and friendly. We had two phone meetings with him beforehand to share our vibe, preferences, and practical details. He did a great job selecting the music and tailored it perfectly to match the energy in the room throughout the night. Even though not everyone was looking to dance all night, he created a welcoming atmosphere on the dance floor and made sure that our guests had a great time.
The photobooth was also a hit. Our guests loved being able to print copies of their photos and text them to themselves. The photobooth staff did an amazing job encouraging everyone to sign the scrapbook, which created a wonderful keepsake for us.
We truly have nothing but positive things to say about Bright Set Entertainment. Their professionalism, kindness, and talent made our wedding unforgettable, and we wholeheartedly give them 5 stars. -

I highly recommend Bright Set Entertainment. They made the whole process so easy when booking with them, they gave you time to fill out all details, and even let you make last minute changes. We had DJ Dennis for our wedding and he was exceptional, he had the party going all night! We also got the mirror photobooth and the pictures came out amazing, the assistants were also amazing and so friendly. Thank you Bright Set Entertainment for making our day so great! -

We are so grateful to Bright Set Entertainment for providing the perfect live music for our wedding. Cassandra was wonderful to work with—responsive, accommodating, and made the planning process seamless. The violinist and pianist were incredible, performing beautiful Bridgerton-style covers along with every specific request we made. The music set such a romantic and elegant tone for our processional, ceremony, and recessional, and our guests are still talking about how special it felt. We had a package through bright set. We got beautiful live music for our ceremony with custom arranged songs that they did with no problem. They also did the audio for my ceremony and everything was clear and beautiful. We used dj harrison for our cocktail hour and reception. He was the best dj of any wedding I've ever been to!! He read the room played exactly what we wanted and kept people put on the dance floor the whole night. He listened to us made us feel heard and nailed every vibe we were going for from cocktail hour to reception. Cassandra was so responsive. We had some pretty major events happen that caused us to las minute pivot a bunch of songs dances and walk outs. Cassandra took care of all of it and we didn't have to worry about anything!! Cant recommend enough!!! -

We were very happy with Bright Set Entertainment for our wedding. We booked a string duo and they performed beautifully during our ceremony and cocktail hour. It truly elevated the atmosphere of our event and was a perfect fit for the vibe of our venue - the Lyman Estate. The coordination with Cassandra and the team leading up to our event was also very seamless. Highly recommend!

Bright Set were fantastic to work with and executed our vision flawlessly. We had a somewhat unique request for a marching band and the team at Bright Set quickly understood the need and gave us multiple options for how to best fulfil that dream. From setting up a quote, to going over what we wanted on the day Kim and Cassandra were great.
On the day itself the musicians were great, played exactly the songs we wanted and were flexible with some extra music where needed.
I would highly recommend Bright Set to anyone going forward!

Bright Set Entertainment is the company to go with! From start to finish Cassandra was amazing! She helped me figure everything out, even suggested my photographer! She spent as many minutes or hours as needed on the phone with me answering questions and helping to plan my timeline so I felt confident. Giving her professional opinion along the way helping to make sure my day went smoothly. I felt so secure in their hands. They checked in with me regularly which is important to know that your vendor knows they are working with you and hasn't forgotten or doesn't need you to remind them or check in with them, they check in with you. Come the day of our event everything went as planned and the crowd LOVED our DJ. The photo booth is SO worth it as well - all the guests loved it and we received a super cool memory book signed by all the guests with the photos from the night.

We had Bright Set Entertainment organize a string trio for our ceremony and cocktail hour music for our June 2024 wedding in Newport, RI. Cassandra and her team were incredibly professional and paid attention to every detail. They were able to handle our windy venue with their sound system and be flexible with timing and position for the musicians. Our guests are still commenting on the "Bridgerton vibes" the string trio brought to our wedding. We would recommend Bright Set to any of our friends for their future events and weddings. -

We had a harpist and a violinist from Bright Set perform at our wedding ceremony and we were so blown away by the phenomenal talent and beautiful music they played! We chose classical pieces to enhance the elegance of our ballroom-style wedding ceremony. We, along with all of our guests and family members were in complete awe of the stunning job these two musicians did. Not only is Bright Set Entertainment SUPER talented, they are also VERY kind people, very professional, and quick to respond to any questions or concerns you have. Cassandra at Bright Set Entertainment was an absolute delight to work with! My wedding planner, Tracy from Inked Events, introduced me to Cassandra when we decided just a month before the ceremony to add a classical guitarist to our wedding ceremony. Cassandra quickly aligned us with an artist that was able to accommodate our date and it was the extra detail to create the perfect ambiance for our big day. Cassandra truly cares about helping ensure her clients are 100% satisfied and goes above and beyond to make that happen, even calling us after the ceremony to make sure we were happy. Bright Set Entertainment was so great to work with for our wedding! They were communicative, professional, and easy to work with. We hired a harpist through Bright Set and would highly recommend them to anyone interested in incorporating live music into their wedding day. We were able to hire a harpist and sound technician for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner. Our guests were so impressed with our harpist and the live music was the perfect addition to our day. -

Bright Set Entertainment helped me plan the perfect music for my wedding. We had the options of combining any instruments or DJ's for any amount of time throughout the night. We ended up having a violin and a keyboard for the ceremony and the cocktail hour, and then switched to a DJ for the reception. The instruments did beautifully for my ceremony and DJ Josh was an awesome addition to the reception. It was a small wedding so I was worried about a DJ being "too much" for 30 people, but I was so glad to have him. He coordinated the events of the night and was able to read the crowd and get everybody up dancing! I was also able to Zoom with him beforehand and really get a feel for who he was and he could understand the vibe I was looking for. The entertainment company themselves were also very helpful and sent over many music suggestions for songs to choose from during certain portions of the night. I was even able to review Josh's Spotify playlists beforehand, and make sure all the songs I wanted played were on there. A great experience overall! -

I hired Bright Set Entertainment for a client of mine, as music for her engagement party at The Inn at Longshore in CT. From the beginning Cassandra was wonderful to work with, very communicative, responsive, helpful in answering my questions and genuinely a nice person. Bright Set Entertainment offered many different options/ensembles for musicians to choose from, and Cassandra helped me to narrow down my options and pick the best ensemble for my client's party.
The musicians arrived early, were prepared and played amazing Jazz music all afternoon. Plus had everything we needed for music during their breaks, mics for speaches, etc.
I will surely be using Bright Set Entertainment again for any of my my musical needs for events all over New England. -

DJ Josh was the perfect addition to our intimate Christmas wedding!
Due to the challenges of getting married during a pandemic, our new wedding day was planned in less than six weeks with the help of a wonderful wedding planner. Our immediate-family only celebration had numerous obstacles, and finding the perfect entertainment was thankfully not one of them.
Pre-pandemic, we had planned for a 5-10 piece live band and a night of dancing with 300+ friends and family... while we did not originally intend to hire a DJ, it seemed like the safest option, and we could not be happier with this decision.
Our planner provided DJ Josh's name and after reviewing his social media accounts we were immediately impressed. During our first Zoom meeting, DJ Josh was engaging and friendly and we asserted that he was the right choice. We requested music that fit the ambiance, evolved with the evening, and didn't make us miss our original wedding plans (this was a unique request, but one that may resonate with other couples planning a 'covid wedding'). DJ Josh described the many actions he takes to keep others safe while working; he provided safety measures for items we had not even considered. He fully respected our concerns for safety, and answered questions that we didn't even know to ask. Leading up to the wedding day, DJ Josh communicated with us as needed, and we could tell that he had truly listened to our requests, which gave us confidence that we could let him do his job without us micro-managing every detail.
DJ Josh created the exact atmosphere that we had hoped for. He facilitated the flow of the event by being our MC, and he did a fantastic job of reading the "crowd". We sincerely enjoyed his music choices and his presence at our wedding. At the start of nearly every song we found ourselves connecting with DJ Josh by giving a nod of excited approval, or a thumbs-up. During a wedding with minimal dancing, we found ourselves singing as a group to the music, and dancing in our chairs. DJ Josh did such a wonderful job of setting the tone for the night; his spirited enthusiasm, professionalism, and genuine positivity made the evening so enjoyable for all.
We still have no intention of hosting a second wedding or celebration, but if we did, DJ Josh would be hired again without question. He so perfectly balanced being a DJ, MC, and blending in with the decor. He listened to our requests and accurately interpreted our desires. He read the crowd and played exactly the music we needed throughout the evening. We hope there will be another opportunity to host an event with music because DJ Josh will be our first and easiest choice. -
