Everything looked EXACTLY how we hoped our wedding day would look. They are an amazing duo with vendors that brought every intentional moment to life. Casey has so many amazing design ideas, she is truly a master of her craft. Their execution and organization made wedding planning so much fun and so easy, we were able to enjoy every minute of our engagement and our wedding day because we knew Casey and Matt had everything under control. Bright Designs was an incredible wedding event designer to work with. They connected us with a fantastic florist, rental companies, and a talented wedding and stationery designer, making the planning process so much easier. Together, we created a beautiful English garden–themed wedding filled with personalized touches that truly reflected us.
They did an outstanding job coordinating with all of our vendors, ensuring both the ceremony and reception were set up flawlessly. After the wedding, their assistance with the tear-down process was seamless and stress-free.

Food show for PFS
This wasnt a wedding but fully worth a review! I plan a food show for the company I work for and the last two years we have relied on The Kanes to take care of the decor. Never a let down. They execute bove and beyond with their vendors of what I expect. Casey is so creative putting everything together snd creating the true vision your wanting. They do an amazing job everytime!!!!!!! -

Pratt Wedding!
From the beginning, Casey & Matt were very responsive & helpful. I went into the whole design process not really knowing what I wanted & my fiancé & I had different visions. Casey took our very different tastes & turned it into a gorgeous design for a wedding. They worked with all the vendors, got everything set up & handled all the little details for us. This made the whole process so easy and stress free. Come wedding day, they were there bright & early & worked hard with everyone to give us the best day possible.
We couldn’t have had the wedding we did without Casey & Matt! It was absolutely amazing & we would choose to work with them over & over again! -

Words cannot even describe how much my mom and I appreciated Casey when planning my wedding. Casey was absolutely amazing to work with and constantly went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect! I told Casey that I wanted to walk into the room and see pink everywhere, and she greatly exceeded my expectations. So many of our guests told us that this was the most beautiful wedding they have been to and Casey is to thank for that! Also, she recommended most of my vendors to me and every single recommendation was perfect! They fully took care of set up and tear down for the wedding which elevated so much stress and was worth every penny. If there is any vendor you need, it’s Bright DeSigns! -

We worked with Casey for our August wedding, and we truly could not imagine the day without her. From the very beginning, she was organized, calm, and so attentive to every detail. She kept us on track through the entire planning process, communicated clearly with our vendors, and made sure everything came together seamlessly. Even when I wanted to go rogue with some DIY and be a part of the creative process!
The day of the wedding ran so smoothly. We didn’t have to worry about a single thing. Every detail, décor element, and transition was handled perfectly, and we were able to just be present and enjoy the moment.
She brought such a warm, positive energy to every meeting and went above and beyond to make sure our vision came to life.

Weenies & Martinis 40th Birthday
Casey and Matt did an excellent job executing on our idea! We used them to plan our wedding many years ago so when we were going to be hosting a 40th birthday party, I knew to reach out to Bright Designs! I wanted someone to be able to take charge and get it done while being busy with work and kids. Casey did just that! She communicated every detail with vendors and the party site staff perfectly! Working with Bright Designs (Matt and Casey Kane) was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From the very beginning, everything felt simple, easy, and completely stress-free. I knew right away that things were going to be perfect—and they truly went above and beyond to bring my colorful, bold, and sophisticated vision to life in a way that exceeded all expectations.
Throughout the planning process, we had design calls, meetings, and even a venue walkthrough where Casey traveled out to see the space in person. That level of care and attention meant so much to us. Not only are Matt and Casey incredibly talented and organized, but they are also just genuinely amazing people.
One of the most special moments was the design reveal they planned for us before the ceremony—it took place at a separate location, and they had everything set up ahead of schedule despite a tight timeframe. They also decorated our church (another location), and both spaces were absolutely stunning. We received so many compliments on the overall design—everything felt seamless and beautiful.

As someone who is a type A person I knew on my wedding day I did not want to have to worry about setting up decorations, making signage, and picking everything up day of. Casey and Matt did everything and then some for us. From the first interaction they cared so deeply about our love story, our vision, and the vibe we wanted for our wedding. Our wedding went so smooth because of them, all of our signage matched our invitations, our flowers were delivered with perfection, and our reception space BLEW our minds. Where do I even begin? Casey helped to make all my dream wedding visions come to life! And trust me, I had A LOT of visions. Everything I threw at her, and not once did she make me feel crazy for all my ideas. I’m a country girl, grew up on a farm and own a western boutique so of course our wedding followed suit. It was literally the most perfect fall farm wedding! Not once during the day was I stressed or unhappy about how anything went. She just made the day go as any bride would hope! My husband and I constantly catch ourselves reminiscing about our day and we never feel sad that it’s over, but so overjoyed about how absolutely amazing it was and so many of our friends and family even have commented on how wonderfully organized and detailed it was. It seems truly impossible to put into words what Casey and Matt, Bright Designs, did for our wedding day. It was an absolute dream and more!
From the very first conversation with Casey after we had gotten engaged to our first sit down to go over what our vision was, Casey made us feel so special and radiates the happiness you want on your wedding day. Every single detail was thought of and designed with perfection! Casey teams up with the very best local vendors and also dreams up options available nationwide. Nothing was overlooked!
Weddings can quickly become overwhelming and deciding on the best/most impactful details is what makes Bright Designs unmatched. They are honest, thoughtful, patient and so professional about everything and made the day so easy.
The day off was a dream! My husband and I often found ourselves looking at each other and looking around our space in awe of how amazing it all was. We often said “how did we get so lucky to have Casey and Matt?!”, and that’s the truth. To work with them, will make any couple the lucky ones! We love Bright Designs and know without hesitation, they made our day a fairytale we will forever remember. -

Best wedding planners ever!!
We hired Bright Design to help with our first daughter's wedding five years ago and we could not imagine planning our second daughter's wedding without them. They knocked it out of the park again. From the first meeting when Casey listened to my daughters dream of how she wanted her wedding to look and feel, to the designs that she came up with that showed that she truly cared and listened. She worked with every vendor to make all of those dreams come true. To the beautiful flowers, the fabulous chairs, the twinkling lights and candles. It could not have been more perfect. We got married on June 9, 2023 in our backyard, having an event in your home is a challenge in itself, Casey never made us feel like anyone was intruding on our space and was beyond professional. Days leading up to and the day of; Casey made sure any of our concerns were heard and taken care of by her, so the only thing we had to worry about was getting married and enjoying our day!

Could not have pictured a better day!
The best decision we made during our wedding planning process was using Bright DeSigns! We planned our wedding from out of town and I truly could not have done it without Casey (and Matt!) From day one, the process was super collaborative - Casey worked very closely with us and our other vendors to bring our vision to life. She always advocated for us to make sure that our day was exactly as we envisioned it. Casey was always available for questions and was super responsive throughout. As someone who had a lot of questions during the process, this was much appreciated! :) In the weeks leading up to our wedding, Casey took care of all of the little details that would have otherwise been really stressful - I was able to relax and enjoy those last few days knowing that everything was being taken care of. I was so grateful for her and her team's hard work and truly could not believe my eyes when I saw our venue on the day of our wedding! Not only did they design our ceremony space, but they flipped the room and transformed it into the most amazing reception space in a little over an hour. Everyone at our wedding was SO impressed! The room reveal during the ceremony was one of the best parts of the day as it exceeded my expectations. The Absolute Best!!
The first thing I have to say is WOW!!! My Fiance and I knew that Casey (and team!) would do a great job, but the reveal of our reception completely exceeded our expectations in the best way possible!!
I had seen (and loved!) Bright DeSigns all over instagram for the past couple of years and knew right when we started planning that we needed to reach out for our wedding! As an out of town couple it was so helpful and amazing having Casey handle basically all of the communication with the vendors. We knew generally what we did and didn't like, but didnt know how to piece it together. Casey took our ideas and made them even better. We got compliments on the room all night and quite literally could not have done it without her and the Bright DeSigns team!! -

Casey made our Boho Theme Bridal Shower come to life! I live in AZ and Casey made planning this special bridal shower for my niece a breeze. 95% of our planning was done virtually. Casey executed our event in a timely, creative and professional manner. I never once had to worry about the small details, and felt completely confident she would capture our overall theme. Her floor layouts, "day of" timelines, and communication with our vendors led to our event being perfectly lovely. Casey's super friendly and happy nature make her suited for shaping events for people celebrating some of the most special days of their lives. WOW!! Casey and Matt with Bright DeSigns Iowa absolutely nailed it! They turned our wedding vision into a dream come true!!!! Casey and Matt are incredible. I’m not a planner and neither is my now-husband, so when we got engaged, though we were excited, our immediate thoughts were “how the heck are we going to do this?!” Into the picture comes Casey who is not just a planner but THE best planner. I swear Casey is able to juggle the world and she could do it with her eyes closed! My now-husband and I told Casey our vision and she made it come to life better than we could have ever dreamed. Our wedding was held at the Iowa memorial union where I did dance marathon in college. I was nervous the room would look too much like it did then and that all I would be able to think about was dance marathon, but Casey completely transformed the room. It was so perfect. I don’t know how she does it, but Casey responds to texts and emails super quickly (always), seamlessly weaves together the communication between bride, groom, and vendors, and just overall made it so that my husband and I didn’t have to worry about a single thing on the day of. Casey was actually doing another wedding on our weekend so Matt came and did it all and ROCKED it. He even stayed (when he didn’t have to) to help me and my dad time our walk down the aisle. Best day ever. Most beautiful day ever. We could never thank these two enough ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Casey & Matt at Bright DeSigns are phenomenal at making a VERY MAGICAL DREAM WEDDING come true!
Casey presented a gorgeous design presentation that we all loved!
Meanwhile we thought we had picked the perfect venue, but it turned out we were denied 50% of the design. My heart was broken, it wasn’t what I had dreamt of as a little girl. We felt like we were at a dead end with the venue.
Until a new venue popped up on my Instagram and immediately fell in love with the view of Kinnick Stadium across the street. We visited the venue while it was under construction and my heart was back in it! We eventually told Casey we were going to change venues - she was so EXCITED for us! Her and our florist visited the new venue later that month to see how awesome it truly was going to be! We 100% made the BEST decision! I was able to have my gorgeous 16 foot floral overhang!
At our last walk through of the venue, we found out our wedding was going to be the FIRST wedding reception hosted at our new venue! I mean come on, that is a big deal if you are a Hawkeye Fan!
We knew then it was going to be PHENOMENAL! And that it was it!
If Casey ask if you'd like to do a venue reveal - DO IT! It was a VERY special moment for us, to see the floral design and all of the details put together! I cried, it was so absolutely gorgeous and beautiful!
Many of our guests have said “It was the best wedding they’ve ever been too!” “Can redo this in a year?” “Everything was perfect!” "The flowers were huge & gorgeous!"

Bespoke Beauty!
To say Casey nailed our design perfectly would be an understatement! From the very first meeting, I felt very confident she could bring our vision to life. The way she took our ideas and turned them into reality was so impressive. Every detail came to life with ease and beauty. The lookbook review process to nail down specifics was so smooth thanks to her ability to envision a thought and run with it. The vendors she works with were very kind, easy to communicate with, and provided every detail without fail. When we had a hiccup with something we really wanted at the reception, she dove in head first and found our second option quickly.
The day of the wedding went seamlessly thanks to Casey, her husband, and all of the vendors. Every detail was spot on and absolutely gorgeous. We couldn't have been happier with how it all came together and how comfortable Bright Designs made the process!! I would recommend them to anyone!!! -

We could not have done it without Casey!
Where to begin? Having to plan one wedding is stressful enough, but when you are forced to cancel your first wedding due to COVID and plan a second wedding, the stress level and anticipation for the big day only grows. Layer on top of this that we live out of state. Throughout the entire process, Casey was nothing less than INCREDIBLE! When we made the decision to postpone the wedding, Casey was more than supportive and worked with us to make sure that all our vendors were able to accommodate the new wedding date. One characteristic that we appreciate in Casey is her honesty. As a couple that would hardly call themselves creative, Casey was honest with us when we would bring ideas to the table that would not necessarily fit our vision for the day and would offer additional suggestions. Without her, the design would not have looked nearly as beautiful and cohesive as it did. Casey was also highly responsive and would communicate with us via email, phone calls, and texts. We knew if we sent Casey a text with a last-minute question, it would not be long before the phone would ring with Casey on the other end. Lastly, Casey did an incredible job working within our budget to plan the wedding of our dreams. When we would ask her to pull back in certain areas, she did what she could to achieve the most bang for our buck. Needless to say, she did an outstanding job!
Casey truly makes you feel like your wedding is the only wedding she is working on! We loved working with Casey and would highly recommend her to anyone who is planning a wedding!

My dream wedding came to life!
I will just start off by saying my wedding day was so perfect in every way and I have Bright Designs to thank for that!! Casey and Matt were the sweetest and most helpful couple ever and I cannot thank them enough for that.
