AMAZING experience

I cannot even thank Jennifer enough. She has been INCREDIBLE and extremely accommodating. She’s also very easy to talk to and promptly responded to every single one of my emails. By choice I postponed my wedding twice and Jennifer made the changes very smooth. She remembered many little details that I mentioned about my wedding even though she’s currently working with so many other brides. I’ve absolutely loved working with Jennifer and HIGHLY recommend booking Bridges of Poplar Creek.

Beautiful venue with a great team

We cannot say enough nice things about Bridges of Poplar Creek and the team working there - especially Jennifer! As a couple with an originally planned 2020 wedding, this year went from happy and exciting to sad and extremely stressful, but Jennifer was a saving grace throughout it all. She is incredibly responsive and communicative and was so helpful throughout the entire planning process. When we originally decided to move our date in the early days of the pandemic, she was so flexible and easy to work with, and when the continuing COVID crisis meant our plans would continue to change, she remained as kind and quick to respond as ever. We had a great experience working with her and would recommend this venue to other couples looking for a kind and communicative vendor with a beautiful outdoor ceremony location and indoor reception space (the new wood floors are beautiful!)

Perfect Venue For Us

Bridges was the only venue we looked at and we have 0 regrets. Jennifer was so great to work with and helped me through the very stressful process. All of our guest commented on how beautiful the venue was and how amazing the food was! The value was what really sold us on bridges, compared to other venues you got a lot more bang for your buck! I cant say enough good things about Jennifer and bridges.

Beautiful venue with great service

We had our wedding at the Bridges of Poplar Creek on 8/31/19. It was the most amazing day, thanks to Jennifer who made sure everything ran smoothly and according to plan. She was great to work with. Anything we needed, she did for us, and she was always prompt in answering all our emails, and most of all she was pleasant..Our guests loved the outdoor ceremony and thought it was gorgeous as well as loved having the cocktail hour outside. We were blessed with great weather that day as well. Our bartenders, Kathy and Sharon were fun! The staff was great to work with and Jenny didn't miss a beat on the day of the wedding or setting up for it! Our guests loved the food and we were very impressed with it as well. We had chicken and steak and the steak was cooked perfect! I am so glad we chose the Bridges of Poplar Creek for both our ceremony and reception. The pictures came out beautifully and I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a romantic and beautiful ceremony and a wedding coordinator who is very attentive to your needs.

Outstanding Venue and Experience!

Everything went smooth and well planned on the day of our wedding, 8/31/19 with many thanks to Jennifer and the rest of The Bridges of Poplar Creek staff. We couldn't have been happier with how everything turned out. We had the ceremony and reception all on site. Jennifer was a pleasure to work with in the planning of our special day. She was very attentive and helpful through all the many questions we had along the way. Responses were always prompt and she found an answer for everything we asked. On our Wedding Day, everything was coordinated well, setup properly to our liking and ran smoothly with the help of all staff. The food was great, all our guests commented to us on how great everything tasted. We also received many compliments on how great the ceremony event space was along with the reception space. I would highly recommend giving The Bridges of Poplar Creek the opportunity to make your Wedding Day as special as they did ours!

We came across Bridges of Poplar Creek less than 6 months away from the wedding date we chose after our original venue cancelled on us. We met with Jennifer and she was so helpful and accommodating and really went above and beyond to make sure we were able to have the wedding we always envisioned. She worked with us from beginning to end with quick responses to emails and questions, helpful input and other planning from our cake to our rehearsal. Our wedding day was more beautiful than either of us expected. We had our ceremony outside and the setting was perfect. Jennifer also had a backup space inside ready to go in case of bad weather but luckily we didn’t have to go that route. The grounds made for amazing photos with the bridal party. Our reception was held inside with plenty of space for roughly 160 guests and decorated beautifully. I would highly recommend having your wedding here.

I absolutely loved Bridges of Poplar Creek as my ceremony and reception venue! Jennifer was my contact at the venue and she was absolutely amazing. She answered every question I had (even if it was small) and would meet with me to go over anything I wanted or needed! We had a Sunday brunch (buffet style) wedding and the food was fantastic! There was more than enough food for everyone and I can honestly say everything was delicious! They were also very accommodating with guests who had dietary restrictions. My guests were all so impressed with the food! The venue even has a referral for cake, and we were not disappointed! Jennifer made planning my perfect day so easy, and she made my wedding day stress free and perfect. My wedding went so smoothly, I couldn’t have asked for a better venue! If I could do it all over again, I would still pick Bridges of Poplar Creek!

We had an amazing wedding here! We were married 09/03 and everything was perfect! The only thing we were bummed about was the staff kept taking our drinks when we would set them down to take pictures, but not their fault, they were keeping the space clean! They did amazing setting up our centerpieces and making everything turn out beautifully! Jennifer was so easy to work with!

We are so glad we chose Bridges of Poplar Creek for our wedding ceremony and reception and to have had Jennifer coordinate and supervise it! Jennifer responded timely to all of our questions and worked with our vendors. There was a 90% chance of rain on our wedding day, and Jennifer worked with us by the minute to keep us updated about the ceremony location. Fortunately, we were able to have our wedding ceremony outside, and the staff worked flawlessly to set it up. We were also able to take the golf carts around to get pictures on the gorgeous grounds.
Bridges of Poplar Creek took a lot of the stress out of wedding planning by providing an amazing cake vendor (included in the price), setting up our decorations, and providing all of the minor things we didn't think about. The food was also amazing; our guests are still complimenting it after almost 2 weeks. We couldn't have chosen a better venue!

Hands down AMAZING!! My wife and I had our wedding in September here. We had 130 guests. The garden setting was amazing, Although it's at a golf course you would not even know because of how secluded and intimate they make it feel. It's a beautiful garden with water features and a gazebo at the center. Our wedding pictures turned out PERFECT!!
The staff was hands down the best!! Before finding this gem my wife and I looked around and talked to many other venues around Chicagoland. All the other venues looked at us like dollar signs. Jennifer and her staff looked at us like family. They were so helpful and responded quickly with any questions or concerns we had. The food was outstanding. Highly recommend the late night burgers. Our guests loved them.
My wife and I couldn't have been happier to have had our special day here. Thank you Jennifer and Diane for everything!!

Bridges of Poplar Creek has an amazing staff. Jennifer helped us plan our wedding there, and she went above and beyond from start to finish. Picking Bridges of Poplar Creek Country Club for my wedding ceremony and reception was one of there best decisions that I have ever made.
The whole property is beautiful, it provides a lot of opportunities for great wedding photos. We got married outside at the gazebo, which was decorated with flowers. Our guests loved cocktail hour outside at their beautiful stone bar.
The whole wedding party really enjoyed taking golf carts and talking pictures on the golf course.
Reception room was decorated absolutely beautiful! I loved the layout of the room and coral bows on all chairs.
Food was delicious and many of my guests still tell me how good it tasted. We were able to make all of this happen thanks to Jennifer, who really helped us for entire year.
All servers, bartenders and just people who helped us with organizing at Bridges at Poplar Creek were extremely nice and helpful.

Absolute amazing venue. We recently had our wedding here on September 2nd, and I couldn't have asked for a better day. When we were searching for venues, I wanted either a garden or a beach wedding and although my husband was a fan of golf courses, I was not. When we found this venue with an enclosed but open garden area with a beautiful gazebo and an amazing indoor reception area, and perfect greenery for pictures for a reasonable price, it was hard to pass it up. We immediately booked it!! The staff is amazing. Jennifer and Diane were so responsive by phone and email; it was nice working with people who are not only friendly, but so willing to help. They answered every and any question we had, and it made us feel at ease. We had about 130 guests, and it was a very spacious venue with plenty of room...we felt at ease the entire night. The food was fantastic and we got so many nice comments from our guests on the food and venue. I will recommend this venue to everyone and anyone. We couldn't have had a better day...thank you, Bridges, for making this possible for us!! :)

We would recommend Bridges of Poplar Creek. Its a Beautiful place with wonderful service. Everyone at our Wedding has complemented us on how our wedding was one of the best weddings they've been to, My father in law was very impressed. Said we did everything top notch, It was great to have our ceremony and reception at such a Beautiful Venue. Jennifer was extremely helpful and did everything for us to help make our wedding a wonderful day. We wouldn't change a thing. All of our guests loved the meal and we even had a owner from another venue there that couldn't believe how big the portions were and how great everything tasted. Working with Jennifer Fuller at Bridges of Poplar Creek made our daughter's wedding planning go very smoothly! No matter the question, she was quick to respond with courteous, and helpful suggestions. The outdoor wedding was beautiful, and the cocktail hour outside was so nice, too. The bridal party also had a blast heading out onto the course in golf carts to take pictures after the ceremony. The reception was very nice in the banquet room, with good service. We highly recommend this venue to anyone that is considering an outdoor wedding.

The outside area is beautiful! We were looking for an outdoor area to get married and this was perfect. Most golf courses end up having the ceremony on the actual green. Bridges of Poplar Creek has a separate area and hidden from the golf course. The turf grass was wonderful for heels. Since in the spring and summer time you have flowers and the greens are grown in, it can save you on flower costs. As long as you have simple centerpieces they will set the tables for you. Jennifer was there for the majority of the day and night. It is amazing on how much she contributed to our wedding day. So when we is unavailable on the weekends it is because she is assisting in weddings. She made our day go very smoothly and we were so satisfied.

Ryan and I were so lucky to have Jennifer help us plan our ceremony and reception at the Bridges of Poplar Creek Country Club. She made the entire wedding planning process so easy for the both of us. We had planned on having our ceremony and cocktail hour outside, but due to weather, we were unable to. Although devastating, I cannot thank Jennifer enough for being so calm and flexible during the time we needed to make a decision whether it should be an indoor or outdoor ceremony. If you do plan on getting married outside, just know that it is just beautiful for an outdoor ceremony. You really don't need any decorations! Not only was the wedding planning part stress-free, but Jennifer and her staff made sure that our night was also stress-free. We truly didn't have a care in the world. We also had raving reviews about the food from our guests! We couldn't recommend a more beautiful venue or a nicer team to take care of you from start to finish.

We had both our wedding ceremony and reception at Bridges. The place is absolutely beautiful both outside and inside! I worked with Jennifer to plan the details of my day. From day one she was extremely helpful with all my questions. She was very easy to work with and answered emails quickly. She helped to ensure my day went smoothly and made sure everything was the way I wanted it! She checked in with me multiple times throughout my wedding week to double check every detail, it was very reassuring! I also worked with Joe and Nancy. Joe was there all day and night making sure the day went exactly how I wanted it to. He was always around and always willing to help. My florist forgot my toss bouquet which I had mentioned to Joe. Joe and Nancy were able to make a toss bouquet out of decorative flowers around the venue, I was so impressed! The day could not have gone any better. I received multiple compliments on how pretty the venue was and how great the food was! The outdoor ceremony site by the gazebo was immaculate and Jennifer even arranged for the bridal party to take golf carts out on to the course to take pictures, it was a lot of fun! The whole staff was absolutely amazing and made me feel very special on my big day. I would recommend this venue to anyone in the northwest suburbs! My guests also enjoyed the slot machines in the bar area :)

It's been one month now since our wedding at the Bridges of Poplar Creek and we couldn't be happier we picked it for our venue. We worked with Jennifer leading up to the ceremony and she could not have been more amazing. She responded to our emails almost immediately, was incredibly friendly and worked to accommodate all of our needs. We wanted to do a lot of our own decorations and Jennifer worked with us to make sure everything was just as we wanted it. The Bridges of Poplar Creek truly showed how amazing it was on the day of the wedding. There was rain the forecast and although most people just assumed we should do the ceremony inside to be safe, the staff at Bridges waited with us until 1 hour before the wedding to make the call. It turned out the rain stopped just in time and the staff rushed to set everything up. It was amazing to see how much they cared and how professional the entire group was. The skies cleared and the outdoor ceremony under the gazebo was beautiful. We did the cocktail hour outside as well which was great. The bartenders made a delicious signature cocktail with strawberries and mint and the stuffed mushrooms and meatballs were tasty! The reception space is great as well, not too large but just the right size for our wedding. Everyone loved the food including the soy glazed salmon and the pretzel crusted chicken. The entire reception Joe and his staff were accommodating and spot-on. Joe made sure everything going just like we wanted and took care of all the little things we didn't even think of. I would suggest anyone wanting a beautiful outdoor space for a ceremony, great food and drinks and the best staff you could imagine, choose Bridges of Poplar Creek.

Poplar Creek is the most gorgeous setting for an outdoor wedding ceremony and indoor reception. From the day we first went to look at Poplar Creek, I fell in love and could not have imagined having my wedding anywhere else. Jennifer was absolutely fantastic to work with. She really helps to put your vision into a reality. She has a lot of experience coordinating wedding and provides a lot of helpful advice along the way. The outdoor space is breathtaking. The gazebo provides the perfect backdrop for pictures and sets the tone for the ceremony. Cocktail hour was held immediately after the ceremony. The space is transformed in a matter of minutes and appetizers and drinks start flowing out. The appetizers were incredible. We chose the cozy shrimp roll, crab stuffed cucumber, chicken lady’s purse, and mini beef wellington all of which our guests raved about. During cocktail hour, we were out on the golf course taking pictures and the backdrop was stunning. My favorite pictures from our wedding are on the bridges of poplar creek. The reception went off without a hitch. Food was served promptly after introductions and cake cutting and was hot and delicious. We served the combination filet and chicken Poulette and people are still talking about it today. I am happy to say that my own wedding was the first wedding I have been to where my filet was cooked to perfection. I also highly recommend the late night snack options-they were a hit around 10:30 pm. A huge thank you to Poplar Creek and their staff for making my dream wedding become a reality.

My husband and I got married on June 26th. The weather was very rainy and Jennifer and the staff were so accommodating with moving our ceremony inside. The room was beautifully decorated. When there was a break in the weather, we had golf carts waiting for us to take us onto the course for photos. The service was amazing during the ceremony and reception! We booked the venue almost a year in advance and any questions I had were answered very quickly. We had a private food tasting and regular check-ins leading up to the day. I couldn't imagine a more beautiful day and that was mostly due to the wonderful staff and venue. The price was terrific for all of the amenities that we had. Anyone looking for a venue in the suburbs should definitely pick Bridges of Poplar Creek!

My husband and I got married here at the end of June of 2014. I can't say enough wonderful things about Jennifer and her team. Throughout the planning process, I emailed her probably 100 questions and she always responded quickly. I'm sure I drove her crazy (my mom and i even stopped by once to see if my table runner idea would look good) We were allowed a little customization to our package to ensure that we got everything we wanted. We used Bridges for both our ceremony and reception. The outdoor space is absolutely beautiful - the landscaping is lush and the small waterfall adds a serene touch to the atmosphere.

Our cocktail hour was held outdoors as well, and several guests commented on how beautiful the site and ceremony were. The staff was also kind enough to save the groom and I some appetizers while we were on the course taking pictures!

The reception space was also lovely. We got married on a Friday and were allowed to bring our decorations and instructions on how to set everything up a few days in advance. I knew that I could trust Jennifer and her team to recreate what I was envisioning. The package included a wedding cake, which was fantastic.

One great thing that this venue has over others we visited. They plan a tasting for all the couples getting married a few months before the wedding season ramps up. We were able to bring both sets of parents and the great thing is you get to taste the majority of the food available on the menu which really helped us choose our options.

Everyone says that the wedding planning is extremely stressful, and it can be, but Jennifer truly made the entire process so easy. If we had to do it again, we would choose Bridges again!

When we were searching for a wedding venue, we were very concerned with having the wedding we wanted while keeping the wedding within our budget. Bridges of Poplar Creek Country Club was such a beautiful venue for a very reasonable price and we are so happy that we chose this venue for both our wedding ceremony and reception.

LOVED POPLAR CREEK! They were VERY VERY VERY helpful in planning every detail! They set-up our room better than I had visioned. After visiting every golf course in the area, and multiple other venues in the suburbs and in Chicago, the moment we walked in and were greeted at Bridges of Poplar Creek we knew it was where we wanted to host our wedding celebration! Jennifer went above and beyond to answer our millions of questions promptly and professionally! Poplar Creek and Jennifer did everything they could to make the planning and implementation as smooth as possible. We were able to bring in our decorations and such a few days before the wedding. The food was DELICIOUS and everyone raved about the appetizers, pretzel encrusted chicken, sirloin, and late night snacks! We upgraded our linens to include table runners, and upgraded linens and chair covers for the head table (only). We loved the windows in the banquet room along with having our outside cocktail hour. They were even able to get us on the golf course earlier for pictures than originally planned! Even though our cocktail hour got moved inside after it started raining and lightening, Jennifer and her staff were beyond accommodating and helped make our guests transition inside smooth. She even incorporated our monogram on our signs that directed our guests at Poplar! A++++++++ Highly recommend!! We can not say enough good things about this place. We would definitely recommend this place to all of our family & friends for any outing, meeting, or wedding.

We hosted my daughter's baby shower in the smaller banquet room. Everything was terrific - the room, the service, the food, the displays. A wonderful time was had by all. We are SO glad that we had our wedding at The Bridges of Poplar Creek! The outdoor ceremony site was BEAUTIFUL and the reception hall was awesome. We loved every minute of our day and we would DEFINITELY recommend having your ceremony and reception here.

Just had our wedding here 2 weeks ago. It was gorgeous. I couldn't be happier. The outside gazebo is priceless and the photos from the club were amazing. Leading up to the wedding I dealt with Jennifer who liked emails which I did as well. I never waited longer than 5 mi uses to hear a answer. She answered all questions, gave me advice on food, chair covers, etc. to save me money. Come wedding day her colleague Peter was there every step of the way making sure everything ran perfectly and it did. The food was excellent, we had chicken, twice baked potatoes and asparagus.

I am SOO happy that I went with Poplar Creek Country Club. I had searched high and low for an affordable, beautiful venue, and I found it all at Poplar Creek. I chose a Saturday afternoon "luncheon," to save on costs, and it turned out perfect. From 3-8pm, we enjoyed a delicious chicken parmesan meal with veggies and potatoes, and had an awesome time.
I got so many compliments on how beautiful the grounds were, as well as the banquet room. The dance floor was large and spacious, the white chairs I chose were a perfect fit for my theme, and the windows added nice light to a pretty spring wedding.
The staff was also great to work with. Jennifer took care of all the planning for me, and Pete was present all day at the wedding for set-up, questions, and assistance. Jennifer was nice, flexible, and professional. I felt confident that my wedding was in good hands.
Turns out it was a beautiful day, everything was in order, the food was perfect, and I had no complaints whatsoever.

Poplar Creek made my daughter’s wedding on June 25th a very enjoyable and memorable event !! My daughter was looking for a venue that had an outdoor ceremony site. After we exhausted the locations near us in Downers Grove due to cost and availability, we thought we’d check out Poplar Creek in Hoffmann Estates. When we went last August to check out their facilities, all they had were the plans on paper for their outside ceremony site. Jennifer, their catering supervisor, said that by our daughter’s wedding everything would be completed. Well we decided to take that chance and book with them. Of course, mothers of the bride can be sometimes be a challenge with our constant questions but Jennifer was great to work with. I felt very comfortable working with her. The outdoor ceremony site turned out absolutely beautiful with a gazebo, pond, small waterfall, bridge, and stonescapes We had our cocktail hour with hors d’ oeuvres outside after the ceremony. We picked the Swedish meatballs, brie cheese and raspberry pastry puff, and deep dish pizza which were all delicious. The bridal party had fun when they were able to take the golf carts out on the course after hours for pictures. The reception was held inside their banquet hall upstairs that overlooked the golf course with windows. The windows gave the room a nice open feel to it compared to typical banquets halls that are all closed in. We picked white chair covers with black sashes and black napkins. We had fresh flowers and votives on the tables. The room looked very classy. For dinner we had the combination plate of sirloin of beef and picked parmesan chicken to go with it. They were both so so good! Bonnie their head server made sure that everything went well and it truly did. All our guests kept commenting on how beautiful the wedding was and how good the food was! Guests were telling us that this was the best wedding that they have ever been to. We were also fortunate to have a great Dj, photographer, and florist. We will have to give them a good review also. I felt for what Poplar Creek included in their package that the price was very reasonable compared to the other locations we were looking at. I can’t wait to see the wedding pictures. Thanks Jennifer and Bonnie and to the rest of the staff for making my daughter’s wedding such a success!

Jennifer and the entire staff at Poplar Creek Country Club did an amazing job for my wedding on 9/18/10. Jennifer and I worked together in the months leading up to our wedding, she was very responsive and helpful in the planning and preparations. Even though we rehearsed for an outdoor ceremony, we ended up inside at the last minute due to rain. The staff was quick to change the plans and keep me informed of everything going on while I was busy getting myself ready. During the ceremony and reception the staff could not have been more helpful and attentive to anything that we needed. The food was amazing and served quickly, everything was just perfect! I highly recommend Poplar Creek Country Club!!!

I had my wedding ceremony and reception at Poplar creek. The grounds at this golf course and outdoor ceremony space are beautiful! Unfortunately it rained the day of our ceremony, which had to be moved inside. The alternative rain room for the ceremony was still nice and had glass doors that still had a nice view of the golf course. The reception space is also really functional and up to date in appearance. My husband and I like the set up for this room better than any other visited. The food and service was really good as well. The coordinator was very nice, answered our emails throughout planning, and overall provided good service. There were only a few times when something had not be updated and I just had to keep on top of our choices, overall though everything went smoothly. Overall the service of staff/coordinator, grounds/space, food, and price made this a great choice for our wedding day! We are very happy with Poplar Creek and had a great wedding day.

I had both my Ceremony and Reception at Poplar Creek this past June. The ceremony site was brand new this summer and was absolutely gorgeous. There is beautiful white gazebo, ponds, small waterfall, flowers and a built in outdoor bar in the back for cocktail hour. I got so many compliments that day on what a beautiful ceremony site it was.

We had our cocktail hour outside which was wonderful. The staff took down the chairs for the ceremony so quickly and set up high tables and chairs for the guests. After cocktail hour the reception took place inside on the second floor. The room they have is perfect, it has windows which I wanted, a balcony and a huge dance floor right in the middle. The staff there was great the whole night and everyone was so friendly.

Jennifer was the wedding consultant and she was amazing! I had so many questions leading up to the big day and she was so helpful with everyone of them and made me feel at ease! The package after looking at tons of other places really was the best deal, it comes with so much and is well worth the money.

I was so happy that we picked Poplar Creek for every part of our wedding day. Everything went perfect and was beautiful!!

Our wedding was anything but ordinary with elements from both Western and Indian Culture, and Bridges of Popular Creek was the perfect place to meet our needs. The coordinator was excellent helping us the months ahead with our many questions as well as the days prior to the event we met with a whole team from Popular Creek to ensure the wedding went off without a hitch, which it did.
Our love though for Bridges of Popular Creek started many months before when we first saw the gazebo, beautiful flowers, and 2 walking bridges. My husband and I both felt this was the spot!!! Even with 250 guests the space felt warm and intimate. The day was a dream come true!!! Thank you to all at Bridges of Popular Creek!!!

Bridges was very helpful through the entire process, accommodating all space, food and vendor needs. Their reception hall is not over the top, but pretty, that allows for you to make it your space. The course and gazebo area are absolutely stunning. They rven take you out on golf carts for the pictures. I can not wait to get my pictures back!

They were great during the last week before our reception when we ended up having a bunch of cancellations and changed the number of guests by 20-25! They had everything set up exactly how we wanted and were very receptive to any last minute changes we had.

I chose PC for my ceremony because it is simply stunning. It was everything I had dreamed of for a ceremony location. I chose to have my reception elsewhere because I did not like the feel of the banquet room. After booking my ceremony, I immediately received a call asking why I didn't book my reception there also. I felt slightly intimidated and pressured by that call. I requested to move my ceremony 30 minutes later but was told no, because that may impinge on their time for their next wedding (someone who would book ceremony and rehearsal.. nothing had been booked yet) even though my ceremony only lasted 30 min. They supplied a "wedding coordinator" who swore in front of our Pastor and truthfully caused more chaos than "coordination". He confused the wedding party on when they should walk out and even told me to walk out before my song started. Luckily I did not listen. He was asked to help prep the table under the gazebo with props we needed for our ceremony and forgot to do so. I noticed as I was standing up front in front of everyone, which required me to spend my time thinking of how to fix this casually instead of listening to our Pastor. They supplied a rain backup plan which held 150 people when we had 200 guests. As we were leaving, they voiced their frustration to my parents that we did not alert them ahead of time that guests would be visiting their bar. Instead of praising us for bringing $$ to their bar, they complained. Since they only had one bartender. Sorry, but they had two weddings scheduled that day.. you'd think they would know how to staff themselves accordingly. All our other vendors made us feel like a King and Queen. If it weren't for the beautiful ceremony site, I would've taken my $$$ elsewhere.
