In January 2025, I saw my perfect dress, the Cassidy from Serene by Madi Lane, on TikTok. It was posted by a bridal shop in Utah, so I went to that shop’s website, found the designer’s name, then went to the designer’s website, and finally found the one shop in New Jersey that carried Serene by Madi Lane: Bridals By Cyndi!
I called Cyndi that same day and found out she had the dress, and it was well within my budget. I drove 90 minutes to her shop, and she already had the Cassidy sample pulled and ready in the dressing room for me. I bought it on the spot. Cyndi even reached out to the designer to help me customize the dress with buttons down the back. She was absolutely fantastic throughout the entire process.
Her shop is beautiful, clean, well organized, and clearly a labor of love. She also recommended a wonderful seamstress, Patricia, at Michelle Manelli’s Boutique and Alterations (my review for them is also on my profile). I couldn’t have asked for a better experience or a better dress.
Highly recommend for anyone looking for personalized service, expert guidance, and a stress-free bridal shopping experience. Thank you, Cyndi! -

Cyndi is amazing! She really knows her stuff and I HIGHLY recommend her to all brides. Cyndi knew exactly what would look perfect on me and my body type and she was right! Her pick had everyone in my crew, including my mom who is tough, crying...and I knew it was time to say YES to the dress! I am still on Cloud 9 just thinking about my YES dress and my entire appointment...it was a perfect unforgettable experience! Thank you so much Cyndi -

From the moment I stepped foot inside her salon, Cyndi gave me her undivided attention. She made me feel so welcomed and at ease. She is extremely patient and listened closely to find out exactly what I wanted and she made me feel so beautiful. Based on my feedback and body type, she pinpointed the most perfect gown which even made my mom cry, something I never thought would happen because my mom is very picky. I absolutely adore Cyndi! She truly knows her stuff and I would and WILL recommend her to every bride I know! Finding my dream dress at Bridals by Cyndi was an unforgettable experience and I will forever be grateful to Cyndi! I randomly came across Bridals by Cyndi from a google search. From the time I called to schedule my appointment to the time I walked through the doors, my experience was great. I arrived and saw my name on their welcome sign! Definitely made me feel special. Not only did they work with my budget but they exceeded my expectations and helped me find the dress of my dreams! Cyndi and Michelle are the absolute best! I liked the fact that one dress I tried on had a detachable skirt but the dress I loved didn’t. So what did they do?! Added a skirt to my dress and turned it into the most beautiful dress ever! I would’ve never thought of that. I couldn’t ask for a better team or bridal salon. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great experience with great people and amazing dresses! I can’t wait to wear my dress! Thanks Cyndi and Michelle ❤️ -

Tarrah Sent on 09/27/2018BRIDES: Do yourself a favor and GO TO BRIDALS BY CYNDI! Not only is Cyndi amazing, but her dress selection is unique and down-right gorgeous. Having been in multiple weddings prior to mine and gone with the brides to try on dresses, I was seriously shocked by how beautiful the selection was at Bridals by Cyndi. Now, let's talk about Cyndi. She is incredibly kind, funny, genuine, and HONEST (which, if you're like me, you highly value when trying on dresses!). She was a joy to work with and made not only me, but my friends and family who joined me feel right at home. I recommended one of my best friends to go to Cyndi, and she also got her dress there, along with her soon-to-be sister-in-law! Seriously could not be happier. Also, she has a seamstress who will alter the dress for you, and is very reasonably priced, in my opinion. She also created a bustle for me that didn't even look like a bustle - she seriously worked some magic. Thank you Cyndi!!!

I really liked that she only has Bridal gowns and one bride at a time. Made me feel like my time was valuable and she listened to all my concerns when looking for my dress. Cyndi has many, many years of experience in the wedding industry and you could tell! Thank you again for helping me find my dream dress!

Brooke Sent on 06/13/2018I was very serious about my wedding budget and every place I went kept trying to put me in dresses that I couldn't afford. I had felt defeated and on a whim we found Bridals by Cyndi online. They were actually closing up when we called but told us to come on over. After explaining what I was looking for and my budget, it took 2 dresses to find the perfect one. What I loved most though was how they gave my mother and I space to decide. I never felt pressured or rushed. And I truly loved the dress so very much and how it had 2 different looks... one for the church and one for the reception by just removing the jacket.

Cyndi stayed open later to accommodate me. When I arrived I was welcomed with champagne and a personalized sign. The dress selections were amazing and exactly what I was looking for. I visited 5 shops and was a little hopeless. The dresses are high end and unique. While also being affordable. The dressing room was spacious and comfortable. Love everything about the shop and owner. She is very honest and truly wants the bride to be happy. -

if this place is by appointment only, she should of said that! I WOULD OF LEFT AN MADE AN APPOINTMENT! BUT NO, SHE WAS SO RUDE UNHELPFUL, AN A TOTAL KAREN! We called to schedule an appointment. We were told if we didn't call back with a credit card our appointment was canceled. We called today to schedule with a credit card and Cindy was very rude and kept using the term "people like us". Stated we wasted her time. While we know their time is important we were under the impression that the appointment was canceled due to no card number given. Definitely not shopping here for a wedding dress after being talked down upon. -

Cyndi is a grumpy, rude, and inconsiderate human being who along with her store employed seamstress ruined my wedding dress and wouldn't fix their mistake! After I purchased the dress, Cyndi's attitude towards me changed COMPLETELY. From a kind and sweet woman she turned into an impatient and arrogant person who just wanted me out of her hair. Even my bridesmaids and MOH who came with me to the fittings said "What was wrong with the store owner?? There was definitely something up her a**." The size the store ordered for me was perfect in the waist but 5 sizes too big in the bust....at every fitting I told them, the cups and bust area was WAY too big and each fitting, the bust area was STILL HUGE. The dress wrinkled and drooped in ways that looked extremely unflattering and nothing like the original try on dress. When I asked to have it fixed before my wedding, they said this was the best they could do and that I just needed to steam it. I tried taking it home and steaming it but it didn't get any better. When I called Cyndi and tried to make an appointment with the seamstress I was met with impatience, rudeness, and exasperation. I ended up wearing an entirely different dress because the one I spent thousands of dollars on was ruined. If you look through other reviews Cyndi has, other brides have had the same experience. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED! -

I do not know if it was profiled situations since my daughter is 23 and maybe she thought she was young. It was about her 3rd time trying dresses and she was still trying to figure out exactly what style she wanted. The lady was no help and gave no opinions or any type of options. She told us we should go to Macy's. My daughter found a dress she truly loved and we were going to get it, but did not want to give them the business. She was very upset after leaving as well as me. Ashley Sent on 07/06/2017Despite the fact that Cyndi ordered her the wrong size and then sold her the sample dress barely discounted , despite the fact that the custom straps she paid for both broke before the ceremony even started, and despite the fact the bustle broke not even an hour into the reception. the bride was gorgeous. not going to lie, our our first visit there I was impressed. We found the dress of the brides dreams . Then things changed. Cyndi ordered the dress two sizes too small and came up with every excuse in the book to cover up HER mistake. She then offered to discount the SAMPLE DRESS , a dress multiple other people had tried on , by a measly $300. Also stating she could not order another one and have it in time.We called around to other salons and they too were appalled by what was going on , and stated when they sell samples they are discounted by 50%. This had now become an unneeded stress on the bride due to CYNDI's mistake ! Most other salons stated they wouldn't have even told the bride about the mistake and would have gone out of their way to take care of it instead by rush ordering , driving to another salon that carried the correct size , calling the designer , etc . Instead bridals by Cyndi didn't want to take responsibility for their mistake. It was only when frustration and pushback was expressed that Cyndi offered any sort of compensation for her mistake . Although every time we went in for a fitting Cyndi couldn't even look the bride in the eye .There was never any sincere apologies. It's all about customer service , and to say it politely , the service here sucks when they mess up . OconnelaIn the end the day was about love and this bride was gorgeous regardless , but as for this bride and her 11 person bridal party , we will be sure to warn people before they shop at bridals by Cyndi, and they won't be getting any more refe
