Emily Sent on 01/25/2016Bridal Warehouse was great! Sheila helped me both times I went in and was absolutely terrific. She pulled several styles for me and let me pick out as many as I wanted. I left the store the first time with my heart set on a Mori Lee gown, which she had let me know was going to be part of the trunk show the next weekend. When I went back a week later, I tried on a few more dresses but still ended up with my first pick. She helped me select a veil as well. It was very easy to make appointments and the fitting rooms are nice. I didn't feel like any of the staff was pushy or intrusive. Overall, a great experience. Highly recommend! -

Diana Sent on 06/10/2009I would highly recommend Bridal Warehouse to anyone. Even though it is not as "pretty" as smaller boutiques, you can get the same dresses and the cost is great. My dress was beautiful and it looked like a $3000 gown, but I got it for $800. I even bought it off the rack since it was the last one (and they knocked some of the price off). The alterations staff is very nice and it is a reasonable price (I paid $125 to get the gown hemmed and it had lots of beadwork at the bottom). -

Jessica Sent on 07/25/2014I had been to this particular store before, but for prom dresses not bridal. I had not expected customer service as great as it was. They made me feel welcome and at home. They patiently worked with me as I explained what I wanted for my bridesmaids and wanted. They found exactly what I wanted! I also got my shoes there, which they did not h ave in my size so the representative that I was working with called the store a couple towns over and had them ordered and dyed for me I wanted blue) so that I wouldn't have to travel out of my way. Only bad thing was they were a little short staffed.

She went above and beyond helping and picking out all the dresses in my style and price range that I was looking forward! I found my WOW factor dress and said "Yes to the dress". -

The only issue I ran in to was bringing bridesmaids to look/order/try on. When I went to find my dress, they were there every moment of the way. When my bridesmaids came to try on, we had to find and pull everything ourselves, figure out how some of the dresses worked, etc.
But, overall, I still recommend Bridal Warehouse with the understanding that you have to be attentive to your bridesmaids because they will not. -

It was packed with people which I thought just made it more exciting because not only was your family ooooing and awing when you came out but the whole place was. They were very accommodating on an extremely busy day, first they lost my reservation but they let me stay anyway and then I decided at the last minute to do my bridesmaids while I was there and they worked everybody in. I wish I could remember the lady who helped me try on dresses because she was fantastic. She listened to what I wanted and brought back dress after dress after dress until will found the perfect one. I thought they had a fantastic selection and reasonable prices especially if you bundle all the accessories with your dress. My dress wasn't suppose to come in for 5 months and it came in two weeks so I was very happy about that. I really don't have anything negative to say...it was a great experience. -

We haven't enough good words to say about the alterations team. We had scheduled appointments elsewhere and decided last minute to get everything done here and couldn't have been happier with that decision. Outstanding.
Our entire Bridal Party was outfitted here and they rocked the day!

Lisa Sent on 07/02/2012Bridal Warehouse is a great place to buy your wedding gown. I found the dress of my dreams at a very expensive boutique in Cincinnati. However, the cost of the dress was out of my budget. I found the same dress at Bridal Warehouse for $300.00 less.
HOWEVER, I would not recommend using Bridal Warehouse for alterations. I had a very lousy experience with their alterations team. Each time I went in for a fitting, I saw a different person. One seamstress was putting down the work of another seamstress (although her criticisms were correct, the previous person did not do a proper job). One person on the alterations staff was extremely rude to me and blamed me for the problem with the dress. She assumed that I was not wanting to pay for the additional changes, although I had expected to pay for any additional work performed on the dress. Once the woman continued discussing the issues with me further, she realized that SHE had make the mistake, because she did not listen correctly the first time/take notes. However, she did not apologize. When I picked the dress up from being steamed, there were dirt stains on the bottom of the dress. I had to ask for someone to clean them before I took the dress home. Of course, the stains came out. But, they don't seem to want to do their job correctly, the first time. I think the issue is that there is always someone different working on your dress. So one person never has to stand behind their work when they present the dress to you. I started to dread going in there for my fittings.
All in all- definately shop/buy there- skip the alterations. -

I look through many of these reviews and I wish I would have had the same experience. Mine, however, was anything but good. I called to make an appointment back in May of 2021 with the Elizabethtown store. I was told that I could call the store a couple of days before the appointment to ask about certain styles I had looked at online to see if they were in stock. I called and was told that only one dress I wanted to look at was in stock and that it was in the Louisville store. I asked for my appointment to be moved to this store. When we arrived to the appointment, the consultant seemed annoyed that we were even there. I told her about the dress and she informed me that she knew for a fact that they did not have the dress in stock. I thought "that's fine, there are plenty of dresses in the store." We were taken to the dressing room and I was informed that there would be no help in picking out dresses or trying them on. She informed me that one of the girls with me would have to be the one to help me. She then showed us where the dresses were and basically just hovered around while we dug through the racks. I chose about 7 dresses to try on. After the third dress, the consultant tried to sell it to me. She kept talking about the price and how good the deal was and even went as far as to get me a veil even though I wasn't sure about the dress. I didn't settle and continued to try on dresses. This seemed to annoy the consultant even more. I found a dress similar to the one that I had wanted to try on before I got to the store. I fell in love with this dress. It was perfect. I wanted to be sure that it was the one, so I finished trying on the other two dresses. The consultant over heard us talking about the venue, which she never even asked me about, and told me that she had a dress that would be perfect for the venue. She proceeded to bring me a dress that was $1000 over my budget, which she also never asked about. The dress was pretty, but again it just wasn't the one. I tried the dress I had loved so much back on and just knew it was my dress. I bought the dress that day and was told that it would be in by September. I never heard another word from the store after that day. I waited patiently, and on Wednesday, Sept. 15 I called the store to check on my dress. The man informed me that the dress had been in since JULY! I was blown away. No one ever tried to reach out to me to let me know that my dress was there. He told me that "we would get down to the bottom of this" when I came in the next day to pick up my dress, which did not happen. We arrived to the store and the same lady came to the door that was my consultant the first time I was there. She was just as annoyed about us being there as she was the first day that I was there. While I was looking at the dress she told me that she had been texting me about my dress and had never received a reply. She said she had sent me 4 text messages. I told her that I never received anything from the store other than reminders of my appointments, which I then pulled up and showed her. She acted so surprised that I had not heard anything from them. I can't believe that they think that a text message is a viable way to inform someone that their dress is in. I don't understand why no one tried to contact me via phone call after my dress sat at that store for 2 months. No one ever followed up about what happened and it appears to have been swept under the rug. I could cry when I tell people how bad my experience was here. They do not care about their brides at all. I will forever tell people that they need to stay away from this store. You're so much better off going to a store like Rebecca's. I've heard wonderful things about their store and I am envious of my friends experiences. -

Terrible! Did not send what I ordered, refused to fix the problem they created. Do not recommend
They told me they could get me a dress for my daughter for prom. We were having issues getting the correct size, and they told me they could order it. When we received the dress in the mail it was not the size we ordered and it didn't even come close to fitting her. When I reached out about the issue to try and either get a refund or to get them to send the correct size of dress, they completely refused! I ordered a 16 and they send a junior 15/16. Don't waist your time or money!! They only care about that sale, not the client!! I plan on reaching out to a lawyer. -

This has been the absolute WORST experience. I went to Bridal Warehouse in January. Found the dress (not a custom dress), and ordered it right there. I paid for the dress in full so there would not be any delays in getting the dress. I was told that it should be in during the last week in June. I called the last week of June and was told that they had not heard anything about it, but would call and follow up on it. And we were told a few more days. A week went by before I called again. They said it should be there any day. I waited another week before calling again. Still no dress. When I contacted corporate, I was told that they were doing everything they could, but the dress still hadn't shipped. When the dress was finally found, I was told that they would over night the dress and I would have it the following day. It was another week before I was able to go pick it up. After poor communication, the dress being called "the stupid package", and the lack of care or concern because "she didn't get her dress until the week before her wedding", I asked that they pay for the rush fee that I would have to pay for alterations. The answer that I got was "oh, Bridal Warehouse doesn't reimburse or pay for rush fees for alterations". Now, 5 weeks before my wedding, my alterations are costing me almost $400 due to their error.
