Bridal Veil Lakes is the most beautiful venue I've ever laid eyes on - truly! My husband and I somehow magically snagged a wedding date in late September, and everything was absolutely perfect - the weather, the landscape, the staff... we couldn't have asked for a better experience. The phrase we kept on hearing from our wedding guests was "stunning." We lost count of how many times people used the same adjective! It really was the most dream-like location, and we'll forever be in love with Bridal Veil Lakes. -

Absolutely Magical
We were looking for an outdoor venue and couldn’t have dreamed of a better one. The property is large and meticulously landscaped, every single corner is picturesque. It’s the only venue we toured where the reality was even better than the pictures, when you’re there it feels like you’re in a fantasy world. Our guests were amazed with how beautiful it was, and having the canoes to ride was such a fun activity for everyone! The family who run it were a pleasure to work with and are very flexible and accommodating. You can really make it your own and be creative, we’re so happy with how it all turned out. Cannot recommend it enough! -

Perfect Gorge Venue
We absolutely loved getting married at BVL! It’s impossible to describe how beautiful this venue is, you just have to see it in person. We loved working with Judy who was enthusiastic and helpful during our tours of the property, and Jennifer in the office is very responsive and kind with questions. I would highly recommend a coordinator as the venue itself is huge, but being able to get into a canoe after your ceremony and have time alone on the lake before joining your cocktail hour? You can’t beat that. If you’re looking for a gorge venue that’s close to Portland, this is it. :) -

This venue is simply stunning! Our guests just loved wandering the grounds and had too much fun in the canoes. To top it off, we even had birds flying around during our ceremony, which only enhanced the beauty of this place. Judy, the owner, is incredibly kind and attentive to all her clients. We highly recommend Bridal Veil Lakes! -

I knew I wanted to get married at Bridal Veil for years, and was so happy we got a date that worked and in the midst of COVID, could still have our special day. The venue is everything and so much more. It feels like a secluded garden and little slice of Heaven. Everything about it feels romantic and natural- which was the vibe we wanted. The staff/owners are easy to work with. This venue is huge, and does offer a lot of flexibility to make it what you want. The only downside I see, are limited transportation options (Uber) given the remote destination and a lack of a getting ready space -

After my wife and I toured Bridal Veil Lakes, we were hooked. No other venue we saw was able to match Bridal Veil’s gorgeous locale. The venue’s secluded beauty will leave couples, guests, and vendors in awe.
And once you sign up, you get an amazing team that is responsive and dedicated to making sure you have the wedding of your dreams.
The level of customization at Bridal Veil Lakes sets it apart from other venues: a food truck, lawn games, canoes, even a swing set are all possible.
There are plenty of tables and chairs onsite, making set up and takedown easy.
Also, as Pacific Northwest summers heat up, it is worthy to note that the entire location is well shaded and the reception area is complete with a large patio and canopy.
Finally, the staff exemplifies clear communication and flexibility. Due to covid, my wife and I had to postpone our wedding by one year, alter our guest count, and take other precautions. Despite these changes and the fluid safety guidelines for Multnomah County, the staff was able to accommodate and keep us and our coordinator up to date with what we needed to know in order to have a safe and memorable day. And we did.

Bridal Veil Lakes was a dream come true. We had toured several venues and as soon as we stepped foot here, we knew this was the place. We booked this venue almost 2 years before our wedding date. They were great with communication and let us come and walk around several times through the course of those two years to plan our wedding. Their responsive times were usually same day or next day and always helped work around our schedule since we lived out of state and could only visit on certain days. Once covid hit, we had to reschedule and replan our WHOLE wedding the we had been envisioning. They were SO each to work with. They emailed us and gave us 3 different options about refunding and rescheduling our wedding. We were able to to reschedule on another date and receive a partial refund from this venue as we were going from our assumed guest count of 250 to 50 so we could still get married. The venue seriously made this whole process of rescheduling and planning stress free. Rehearsal was smooth and the day of the venue was amazing. The owners and Jennifer were both super sweet and I couldn't imagine working with anyone else. This was our dream venue from the beginning and it stayed our dream even through covid. Our pictures also came out amazing as this venue is just drop dead beautiful. I would recommend this wedding to anyone looking for a beautiful outdoor Oregon wedding! -

We absolutely recommend this venue 100%. The owners were very responsive and allowed us to visit the venue several times a year to plan. We cannot wait to receive our wedding photos back to be able to look back on our beautiful Green Day! -

What can I say? This venue is AMAZING! From the very beginning, everyone on their team was responsive, friendly and willing to answer any questions we might have had. They even showed up the day of rehearsal and the day of to make sure that all our needs were met. Our guest raved about the venue and how stunning it was. I cannot recommend this venue enough! -

Our wedding was booked for Sept. 30 but unfortunately, the fires in the Gorge forced us to relocate at the last minute. However, Jennifer Miller was SO helpful throughout the entire process and even suggested replacement venues for us. Bridal Veil also gave us a full refund promptly after having to give us the bad news. I would recommend them to any couple looking for a fairytale wedding in an ethereal setting. It's family owned and operated and has a sense of familiarity about it — it's not hard to see why this site is so popular. -

Andrea Sent on 07/03/2014This place is so beautiful it borderlines on magical. I had several people tell me they felt like they were in fairy-land. Yes, it is completely open air and If you may have to rent another tent to cover the second patio if you have a large wedding. We had a cool and cloudy day so we did rent heat lamps which people used but mostly everyone just had fun dancing and kept marveling on the beauty of the place. It was great for kids too with a swing set, lots of space for them to run and play games, and canoeing. Even in the pouring rain (our rehearsal), this place is beautiful. Also, I love the fact that you can bring your own alcohol and caterer and you will be the only group having a wedding that day. They were also very flexible to requests. -

Patricia Sent on 10/14/2013There's a reason all the reviews about this place are amazing...it's an amazing venue!! We toured at least 12 venues in the Columbia River Gorge, and were so happy we chose Bridal veil Lakes. It poured rain on our wedding day so we didn't use the whole site as planned, but people are still talking about how magical this property is.
The only things I didn't like:
- There isn't a bridal room, so we had to change and keep our stuff in the restroom.
- It would ne nice if they would supply heaters. The evenings get chilly, and they are expensive to rent.

We got married in June 2025 at this stunning venue, on a rainy day. Despite it being cold in the summer, the clouds and rain created an ethereal, magical effect. We don't think we could have found a more beautiful venue in the PNW. Our guests gushed about how beautiful the grounds are. Bridal Veil Lakes is the perfect outdoor wedding venue for those who want to be married among the trees and the Gorge. Coordination is very easy with the owners and Jennifer to set up visits at their site. They have great vendor recommendations (especially our coordinator Kelsey Castrey, who knows this venue inside and out). Keep in mind, there is not a full kitchen on site for caterers. We used a shuttle to bring guests from the Portland area to the venue, which was very helpful. There is parking onsite. -

When we started looking for a wedding venue in Summer 2023, we were very quickly overwhelmed by all of the options within a few hours of Portland. We wanted a location that matched our style and just felt like "us." We had made a short list of venues around Portland and Bridal Veil Lakes happened to be our first where we had a chance to view it in person. Let's just say, we booked it the next day and didn't even look at other venues. This place is STUNNING.
The venue comes with several covered areas, chairs and tables to seat 300 people, and plenty of areas for caterers and other food vendors. You have to set up and tear down yourself, but the venue is worth the extra effort. -

WOW this venue will knock your socks off, its so so stunning. Our guests just kept saying its like a secret garden oasis and I couldnt agree more. My favorite part of this venue is how as the night progresses, you keep moving around the lake so its almost like you have a few different venues in one. We got married in late Sept, and usually the weather in Portland is still good, but we had highs of 55 degrees, and thunderstorms in the morning. Given the venue is all outdoors, we had to adjust and bring in more heaters, rented fleece blankets, umbrella, etc. That is the only downside to this venue-- you might spend the year after you've booked praying to the weather gods to behave. But I can say even though it was cold and muddy, I don't regret the decision at all. Also, I highly recommend booking a coordinator/planner who is familiar with the property since it is so unique, and huge! We had 3 coordinators from Your Perfect Bridesmaid and they helped make the day run so smooth. Also Jennifer at Bridal Veil Lakes is very responsive and lets your visit the property as much as you'd like as long as you alert her first, so I was able to take my out-of town parents and bridesmaids to see it in the months leading up to the wedding. -
