Bridal Suite of Centereach (@bridalsuiteofcentereach) 1000000/10- I had the absolute best experience with this “mom and pop” shop and cannot recommend them enough. They were so easy going and not pushy at all. I felt comfortable there and loved the experience. My Mother in Law also found her gorgeous gown there. I shopped around at other bridal suites, but there’s something about Bridal Suite of Centereach that makes you feel at home. I also found the dress of my dreams there which was an added bonus.

Best dress shopping experience

Bridal suite of centereach was something I always drove past. I was not too excited about going dress shopping because it isn’t me! Cassandra however was absolutely wonderful! We had a big group and she made everyone feel included and made it the most amazing experience for myself ! I found my dream dress and her professionalism was next level! Would recommend to everyone and anyone!

They are the best!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Tracy, Sophia, and the Bridal Suite of Centereach Team. I am so happy I found my perfect dress there because they made everything after that as easy as could be! Everyone was so kind, generous, flexible, prompt, and professional. Their seamstresses worked magic on my dress alterations and Bridal Suite of Centereach also took care of my dress cleaning after my small May 2021 ceremony so that I could wear it again at my large September 2021 reception. I would recommend them in a heartbeat!

The owner personally picked out my dream dress!

The owner picked out my dream dress for me! After trying on various dresses that my mom, sister, and I had picked out, Tracy snuck in one that I loved! Based on my feedback from other dresses, she was able to find a dress that was absolutely perfect for me! She was so attentive at the salon and was highly responsive via email before and after my appointment.

The salon is set up so nicely so brides to be have their own private section to try on their potential gowns without peering eyes! I had been nervous about the experience, but Tracy and her team made me feel so comfortable!

The prices were also amazing and Tracy really worked to make sure she stayed within my budget while still giving me plenty of options! I am so excited that I said yes to the dress here!

Amazing, couldn't be better!

Bridal Suite of Centereach was amazing. Cassandra helped me find my dress. She was great. The seamstress was great too. I only had to have 1 alteration. My mom and sister both went there after getting their dresses elsewhere. Both of them were so happy with the results of their altering as well.

Awesome Customer Service!!

First and only shop I needed to go to. Their selections were amazing! To think the very dress I had my eye on while shopping on line was right at the front door, as if they knew exactly what I wanted. Their friendliness made me feel like family and their professionalism was beyond words. The owners Tracey and Bill were hands on and made me feel special! Thank you both for this amazing experience!

Centereach Bridal saved the day! I ordered my gown in July 2017 and it came in to the shop around March of 2018 (my wedding was in August so I had plenty of time). When it arrived I went into the shop to try it on and was less than enthused when I saw my dress had arrived in "clean white" because the dress I had ordered and wanted was ivory (it was the same dress, just the wrong color). I tried on the dress and knew the color was not the right fit for me. The staff quickly involved the owner, John, who pulled the contract to look into the discrepancy. It turns out, there was some sort of miscommunication when the dress was ordered because on the contract the dress was listed as "clean white". My mom had been the one to order the dress and likely didn't realize the mistake. Any other shop would have pointed to the contract and likely said since I had signed it, there was nothing the shop could do. Not Bridal Suite of Centereach! The owner, John, immediately put a call into the designer and requested a new dress be shipped in the correct color. I was concerned the new dress would not arrive in time for the wedding, but it did!!! There was even time for alterations which Bridal Suite completed and the dress was perfect! I can't speak highly enough about Bridal Suite and everything they did for me to allow me to get married in the dress of my dreams. They were truly willing to go to any length to make sure I was happy and took full ownership of the issue with the color of the dress by fixing the problem and having a new dress shipped at no extra cost to me. Casey was someone I worked with a lot through this process as well and was super friendly every time I saw her for a fitting. Everyone should shop at Bridal Suite of Centereach!!!

So grateful I went to Bridal Suite of Centereach for my wedding dress~ and what makes this Bridal Suite extra special for me is that it's the same place my aunt got MY beautiful flower girl dress when I was a little girl for her wedding in 1992! Myself, my aunt, my cousin, and my best friend all found our dream wedding dresses here. I worked with consultant Jenny who was so sweet, professional and patient and helped me find my dream dress. I bought my dress and a bridesmaid dress from here. Their customer service and responsiveness have always been spot on without giving me any runarounds or trying to up-sell me stuff I didn't want. They even matched the price of the dress when a local competitor was selling it for a bit less!

Samantha was incredible! In just a few moments of meeting her she understood what I was looking for. I visited the store twice and I selected my gown during my second visit. What I selected was a suggestion by Samantha which was completely different than the inspiration images that I had showed her but it was a perfect fit for my personality and body type. Great service and great selection, highly recommend this place!!

I am so happy I purchased my wedding gown and bridesmaid dresses at the Bridal Suite of Centereach. My mom bought her wedding dress there years ago so we decided to look. John, the owner, Kathy and Samantha were so amazing and helped so much throughout the whole process. I wasn’t even sure exactly what style I wanted but after telling them what I liked and didn’t like they were able to pull my dress that I picked at my first appointment. My bridesmaids also were able to find a dress in the first appointment they had. They were literally in and out of there in an hour and were all in love with the dress. Both my dress and the bridesmaid dresses were the same designer, Morilee. I would recommend checking out Morilee because they have gorgeous gowns at affordable prices. Besides the gowns, I also purchased a sparkly belt for my gown and a cathedral veil. The veil was so beautiful and had scalloped edges with rhinestones all along the edges and bottom. The fittings all went smoothly and luckily I only needed shoulders and bustle alterations. I would definitely recommend making an appointment there because they have a lot of beautiful bride and bridesmaid dresses. They also have mother of the bride and groom gowns and flower girl dresses as well.

They understood what I was looking for and I was lucky to have found my dress in 15 minutes ! I wasn't looking forward to trying on million dresses so the second one I knew was my dress ! With only 1 fitting I was pleased with everything overall .

Bernadette did a wonderful job helping me pick out my wedding gown. She was EXTREMELY patient and provided me with a variety of options. I went back 3-4 times within two days to make sure that "it" was the one. I plan to go back with my bridesmaids and flower girls and work with Bernadette again!!

Yesterday, I purchased my wedding dress from the Bridal Suite of Centereach. I had one weekend available to go shopping for my March 2016 wedding, so I had already put a lot of pressure on myself to make sure I found the right dress. The day before, I visited 2 salons and wasn't sold on any of their dresses or the experiences with the customer service etc. When I arrived for my 11 AM appointment, i was helped by Aileen. I immediately told her my budget, what I liked and didn't like in a wedding dress and showed her photos. She allowed myself and one of my bridesmaids to look through the racks and pull what we liked while she did the same. She was not pushy or annoying and was extremely helpful. I finally found the perfect gown and all because Aileen listened to what i wanted - she found me exactly what I explained to her that I was looking for!

Another thing I really like about this salon is the alteration cap they supply. I am incredibly relieved to know my alerations will not exceed a certain limit!

I went to Bridal Suite of Centereach with my best friend, to look for her wedding gown and for my bridesmaid gown. She had heard of this location on a whim, after already making a deposit on a gown at a different store. She had felt badgered and pushed at the previous location--Bridal Suite of Centereach was the opposite! The space was small, and not necessarily appealing on the outside, but do not judge a book by it's cover! Inside it was incredibly clean, which put me at ease. There wasn't necessarily a lot of room, but the sales girl was helpful and gave us what we needed. My friend ended up ordering the perfect dress with Bridal Suite of Centereach instead!

I'm a BIG gir, and I appreciated the quality of the plus-sized gowns they carry (if you're overweight, you know the humiliation of sales people saying "try this one on and I'll just hold it closed-- you can imagine what it will look like in your size!" all while holding up a dress that's 8 sizes too small!

And let me tell you, Linda is incredible! She knew what would look good on me and what I wanted before I even knew! I thought I knew what would look good & picked out a few dresses. She then went into the back and said, "You have to try this on". I did, & it was beautiful, but much more dress than I thought I wanted. I left that day not picking one & planned on coming back with my 2 MOHs to try on a few more. But all week long, I kept thinking of THAT DRESS. so when we came back, I already knew it was the one!!
It looked absolutely gorgeous and fit me to a T, with very little alteration. She even finagled me a free veil (which was GORGEOUS in itself!) and a purse.

The alterations dept did a fabulous job (of course we screwed up the bustle on the wedding day, even though they explained it thoroughly, LOL!! TAKE PICTURES OF WHERE EVERYTHING GOES PEOPLE! you'll thank me later ;)

I'd DEFINITELY recommend them!

I hate giving 5 star reviews but Aileen and bridal suite are worth it! This was the first place I stopped for wedding dresses, and I ended up leaving with my dress just 2hrs later (counting the time it took to wait for my sisters to arrive). They had plenty of room for my two sisters and my mom and I was either the only bride in the store or they did a really good job of separating customers. My budget was $1000 for a dress pre-alterations and I walked out with a $750 dress!! It was exactly the type of dress I envisioned and the perfectly relaxed day I had hoped for. Aileen is super sweet, helped calm me down, and answerer all of the questions I had. We had such a great experience that we are going there for MOB and BM dresses too. Thank you!!

Jeannie was extremely helpful and patient as I made my first attempt at finding a wedding dress. She listened to what type of dress I wanted and quickly pulled the right assortment off the racks. She did such a great job of pulling that I was stuck between four different dresses!

I had found a Mori Lee dress online about a year ago that I fell in love with and kept coming back to in my searches. I called all over Long Island and NYC to see if it was in stock anywhere. "No, we don't have it," "We used to carry Mori Lee, but not anymore," "We can ship it in from the designer, but there will be a fee to try it on," was all that I heard... until I called the Bridal Suite of Centereach. What a breath of fresh air! I explained my situation and the person I spoke with said that they did not currently stock it, but she would do everything in her power to get that dress there. I got a call back a few days later saying that the dress was being shipped in for me to try on. When we arrived, Bernadette greeted us at the door and let us know right away that she had the Mori Lee dress ready and waiting. I told her I was nervous and she told me to take a deep breath and that this was going to be fun. Bernadette was so attentive and clicked with me right from the beginning. I expressed what I liked and didn't like and she stayed on track with the additional dress choices (and within my budget). Bernadette was professional and constantly adapted to different things I wanted to try and suggestions my family made. In addition to her excellent dress choices, she was also thorough with the entire look- she gave me veils to try, helped me put on headbands, draped the dresses with various tulle options, and displayed different embellishments all while I was standing in front of the mirror as my family looked on. In the end, I did pick the Mori Lee dress- it fit my personality the best, made my mother, mother-in-law, and (almost) my father well up, and Bernadette genuinely agreed that this was the dress for me. Bernadette was open and honest, explaining why this dress was right where the other ones weren't. Things fell into place perfectly at the Bridal Suite in Centereach, so much so that I ended up canceling my other appointments.

Bridal Suite of Centereach was the last shop we visited. Although weary from a long day I'm grateful we did. While the shop isn't fancy it more than makes up for it in value, selection and customer service.
Bernadette was the first to greet us and assist us. Art first quiet and reserved I was a bit worried but soon realized she was determining how to best serve us.
She stands out as superlative for a few reasons.
1) excellent understanding of client's wishes (every dress she pulled for me I really liked ~ no other place or person could boast that)
2) she's very nice but also honest
3) her relaxed attitude and sense of humor put us all a ease
4) she doesn't pressure you and genuinely has your, the bride's, best interest in mind ("So what do you think?" / "I like it a lot." / "Honey it's your wedding and for this type of money you gotta love it!")
Needless to say the following day we returned and ordered the dress.
I can't wait to work with her further.

My experience at Bridal Suite in Centereach was amazing. Linda greeted me as soon as I walked in, and did it with a smile. She was professional, and made me feel welcome as I was searching for wedding dresses for the first time. I walked out with a wedding dress that same day! I even made an appointment to come back and look at bridesmaids dresses. I had a large group of bridesmaids with me, and Linda was again wonderful. She even had a dress that they didn't have in store shipped from Chicago so my bridesmaids could try it on. We walked out with our bridesmaids dresses ordered that same day as well!

I went to every other bridal place to find a dress , I heard about bridal suite of centereach from a friend . They were the only people who treated me like a princess . They made sure I was comfortable and they asked me every question to find out what I liked . I tried on 30 dresses before them . I tried on one with them and made it my dress ! I was in tears and they were so wonderful to me ! I'm in love with my dress I even got the bridesmaid dresses there as well ! I give this place 10 out of 10 ! They made me feel like family !!!!

Previous dress shopping felt like a number they have the full experience of wedding dress shopping!

I have absolutely no complaints about the Bridal Suite of Centereach. I ordered my wedding dress (Maggie Sottero) and also 9 bridesmaid dresses (Dessy) from this store. All of the dresses came in, in more than enough time and myself and my bridesmaids were very pleased with the dresses and alterations. My future sister-in-law also ordered her wedding dress and the bridesmaid dresses will be ordered there as well. Thank you for making my wedding dress dreams come true!

My wedding gown from Bridal Suite was and is absolutely gorgeous! When trying on gowns, I chose several dresses in the style/design I liked. After seeing me try some dresses on and seeing the style I liked, my attendant selected a dress from a different room and said try this one on, I think you'll love it - and that is exactly what happened! I feel in love with that dress and knew it was the one for me. The staff is extremely helpful and will answer any questions you have, set up your appointments, and provide you with alterations as needed. AMAZING!!!! This staff was so friendly, efficient and attentive to my needs.
I tried on about 25 dresses - the ladies never made me feel like I tried on too many and every dress was closer and closer to the one that I wanted.

Once my dress was on - I heard it calling my name! I was able to purchase the dress and leave the store happy.
My dress arrived on time, and we had our fittings. The seamstress worked with me and the length -
My experience was seamless from the moment I walked in the door.

Each and every employee at Bridal Suite that I worked with from the sales person to the seamstresses was kind, encouraging and helpful. They had such a great selection of dresses and were so knowledgeable about each and every piece of apparel I tried on. This store is wonderful. I wish, wish, WISH I purchased my wedding gown from here. I had every intention until I went to Paradise Bridal in Patchogue (AWFUL) and found a gown I loved. I felt so pressured to purchase there that it never crossed my mind until after I ordered my gown that I could have ordered the gown through Bridal Suite. I ended up ordering my bridesmaids gowns through them. They were wonderful, polite, helpful, and accommodating. They have tons of choices and their prices are great. You can stop by at any time and they are willing to help you. My bridesmaids were slow to order their dresses and they still came in with plenty of time to spare. They made my experience stress-free and fantastic!

Fantastic bridal shop! I purchased my dress, my bridesmaids dresses and the MOG dress all from Bridal Suite. I purchased all of the dresses last minute and they assured me that they would all arrive in time for my wedding! Which they did. Alterations came out perfect (alterations were done by Nancy). Even when there were a few things that I was worried about with my dress, they made sure everything came out exactly as I wanted which set my mind at ease. They were extremely helpful and always made me feel like my business was appreciated and I was an important client. I would definitely recommend Bridal Suite to any bride. Even if they do not stock the dress you want they can order it for you. I originally found my dress at another bridal store but ordered it from them because the service is so great there. Everyone at bridal suite was so friendly and attentive. The first time I went they brought me so many dresses that were good for my body type. My consultant went out of her way to make me feel beautiful. I got a gorgeous Maggie Sottero gown that I loved! My alterations were all great! My mom also got her MOB dress there and they had the best MOB dress selection of all the stores we went to!

I was on the hunt for Maude by Maggie Sottero. After a failed attempt at another bridal salon and feeling quite frustrated by the wedding dress search a friend of mine recommend Bridal Suite in Centereach to me. Well thank God she did. They were amazing. In less then 2 hours I had my dress, my bridesmaid dresses and also Mother of the Bride. Linda- my consulants name was so helpful and she was honest. I found my dress and I loved it. I even loved that the price was so reasonable. When I picked up my dress a few days before the wedding it was pressed and prepared all ready for the big day. Anytime I went there for fittings I was brought right in and they took care of you right away.

Wonderful Experience

I said yes to the dress at the Bridal Suite in Centereach! My experience there was awesome. The staff are very personable and flexible. Most bridal gown salons only allow a maximum of 4 in your party, and they accommodated 8 of my girls. I couldn't have imagined them without me, so that was a plus. My attendant, Jessica, was friendly, knowledgeable and easy going. She quickly helped me move through a bunch of dresses chosen by my ladies for me, and I ended up choosing the one that Jessica chose from my inspiration photos. It literally fit like a glove! It was a couple hundred dollars over my budget, but nothing I wasn't prepared to pay for when I found my perfect dress. I would recommend this quaint shop to anyone!!

8/10 – We bought the flower girl dresses here! They had a nice size selection for the girls to try on. They were a bit expensive, but we were running out of time as David’s bridal wouldn’t have the dresses until the day before the wedding! I have bought two dresses from this salon and both times have been more than happy. They have always been honest and helpful. My only complaint is that when your dress arrives they send you a letter in the mail. I would prefer to be called or emailed. It just seems like that part of their business is a bit antiquated. Other than that, they have the best prices in LI for gowns and will work with you on price and order anything you'd like.

the shop was great, they were willing to order any dress for me for $100. If I liked the dress the money would go towards it, if I decided not to keep it then they would as a sample and I would have a $100 credit at their store! very flexible with times. Seamstresses were very nice and professional but they weren't the best I've seen. I had a very difficult dress but they seemed to have more trouble with it than a professional should have

This was the 5th store I went to look to get my bridal gown. I worked with Aileen, she was so kind and accommodating. She was never pushy and asked me what exactly I was looking for. She picked all the dropwaist ballgowns and I tried them on. I finally found one I liked but wanted to get more opinions. She never made me leave a deposit she was sweet about what kind of dress it was. I came back the next weekend and bought it. She has helped me with 2 sets of alterations. Every time I come in she helps me in my dress and she is so catering. I have also worked with 2 other ladies there that have ALL been nice. My dress came in on time, with no issues. My fittings went all, needed 2 last fittings to finalize the dress. Picked up the dress the day before the wedding, with no issues! Everything was great, I highly recommend.

I purchased my gown at Centereach Bridal after going to a few other places including New York City. Linda (who unfortunately no longer works there) was exceptional to deal with. She had me in my gown at my first appointment. She put me in a sample they were selling and it was EXACTLY what I always envisioned myself wearing. The owner, John, was also amazing. Because I was really indecisive between this gown and a gown that I found in the city, he allowed me to leave a refundable deposit and allowed me to take a week to think about it. Because the dress was a sample, he even had it cleaned so when I returned the following week I had a better idea what the gown would look like. He completely understood how big of a deal it is buying a wedding dress and was not just trying to make a sale.

The alterations came out very well. I did have to go back a second time because they had to fix a couple things. But they were very flexible. Although the ladies did the best they could with changing the dress (remember, it was a sample and 2 sizes too big) I wasn't entirely impressed with the outcome. I will say that I know it was only things that I could notice; not any of my guests.

I highly recommend this salon for your bridal needs (I did not use them for my bridesmaids, so I cannot add my opinion). I just wouldn't recommend buying a sample dress unless it doesn't need much work. If I knew then what I know now, I wouldn't buy a sample.

My only complaint is my last fitting was scheduled 2 weeks before my wedding date, and they said that I would have to pay for an additional fitting if I wanted it closer to the wedding. I found a dress online that I loved and Bridal Suite of Centereach carried that designer. Although they didn't have and couldn't get that particular dress, I made an appointment. Jeannie helped me at that appointment. Before she even took me in to look at or try on dresses she asked what my budget was and if I had any pictures of styles I liked (which I did). She showed me to a dressing room and told me to look around while she pulled a variety of dresses. She brought back at least 15 dresses to start and I fell in love with the first one, which was nothing like the one I loved online, but I told her I wasn't going to be that person and that I wanted to try on everything she pulled. She completely understood, didn't rush me and didn't try to push me toward anything I didn't love. I kept going back to that first dress. I wasn't crazy about the fact that it was strapless so she brought a keyhole that made me love it even more. I ordered the dress and keyhole before I left that day.

I liked that there was a limit on the amount they would charge for alterations and the ladies that did the work were nice enough. My only criticism is that at my first fitting, they pinned the dress where it needed alterations and told me my next fitting would be my last. Three and a half weeks later, at my second fitting, the hem wasn't straight and was still too long and although the pins were out the dress hadn't been taken in. I'm glad that when they asked when my wedding was, I said one week earlier than it actually was because I had so much anxiety about the alterations that went away as soon as I picked the dress up.

I got my bridesmaid dresses and Mother of the Bride dress from here. The sales associates were so wonderful and very patient. Whenever I called the Bridal Suite team was great. However, occasionally when my bridesmaids called regarding their dresses they were given the wrong information and I would have to call to find out what was really going on. With that, whenever any of my bridesmaid went into the store in person, they were graciously greeted and treated very kindly. The Bridal Suite sent my out of town bridesmaids their dresses no problem as well as fixed a dress the arrived in Florida with a stain. They paid for the shipping back to NY as well as the shipping back to Florida after it was fixed. I would definitely recommend using them!

The selection of dresses at this bridal suite is great. Laura at Centereach Bridal helped pick my dress, and she knew exactly what would look stunning on me. She was wonderful! The seamstress was also top notch.

There was another seamstress, however, that worked on my mother's dress and the rest of the bridal party. She was not so great. In fact, she was rude to the bridesmaids, and very inappropriate with my 14-year-old niece. Steer clear of this lady!

My dress turned out beautifully, however my bridesmaids had some problems. One of them had the wrong dress size ordered and one could not get them to hem it the correct length. My dress was beautiful and they had no problems tailoring it for my needs. They even showed my mom how to do the Victorian bussel so the bead work showed up after the train was up.

Great Customer Service, Terrible Alterations

I ordered my dress and 6 bridesmaids dresses from here and all the dresses had a malfunction on my wedding day. Two dresses ripped by the seems, one zipper broke on the dress on the bridesmaids dresses and my wedding gown the straps were sewed onto the mesh and broke multiple ties throughout the night.

Some of the people that work there are very nice and stay with you the whole time you are trying on dresses Others just walk away and when you come out of the fitting room you are waiting around for them to come back. When you go for your final 2 fittings it's hard to get an appt becasue they don't have the seamstres girls there later in the evening. Also they messed up my mothers hem on her dress. And they don't tell you that the bussel isn't included in the price for the alterations and the bussel just alone cost 250

I feel conflicted reviewing this because the dress was awesome and the seamstresses that worked on it did an amazing job. However, the other workers in that store do not communicate with each other whatsoever and can really make your experience a nightmare.

Loved my dress but the service was pretty bad. Seamstresses don't even speak to you, or ask how you like the fit of the dress. At my last fitting I was told a bone would be added to fix a sag/wrinkle in my bodice. Went to pick up my dress the day before me wedding and it wasn't done. They tried to argue with me, until I pointed out it was written down on the tag in the woman's hand. My bridesmaids dresses were ordered way off size, and the alterations were pretty bad. My mother ended up taking a few of them apart and re-altering them just days before the wedding.

Bernadette is the only downfall of this bridal suite she is rude to customers & fellow co workers. She spoke down and made inappropriate jokes to my bridal party & family. Completely inappropriate and unprofessional.

Perhaps it’s my fault for not looking at other salons, but after promising to add straps and make the dress my own, I settled. When I first walked in, I told the girl that I wanted an A-line with straps or sleeveless, she showed me every other style, assuring me that they would look good, and they were all strapless. After trying on 10-15, I settled on my dress with the promise of adding straps with specially ordered material. Fast forward to two months before at my second fitting, and the seamstress made the most god-awful straps that made this very expensive dress look like something my 14-year-old step-daughter put together in her home ec class. Not to mention that when I complained it was too tight, they refused to make it looser – telling me that ‘everyone has armpit fat’ and ‘don’t worry – you won’t sit anyway.’ Fast forward to two weeks before, and the straps are a better material, but snapped to the dress and too loose, not to mention that the hem was still too long. The seamstress fought me tooth and nail on every request, until a week before when I finally said OK just press it and give it to me. Fast forward to the wedding, as we hug as husband and wife, the front straps unsnap, forcing me to pray that no one sees as I walked back down the aisle. I had the bridal attendant stitch them so they’d stop unsnapping, but half-way through the reception, the back strap completely rips from the snaps, so I can’t even put it back. Luckily, the attendant was around to stitch me up literally on the dance floor. I do NOT recommend Centereach Bridal Suite. The dress was beautiful - the service was terrible and alterations didn't hold up.

Awful experience

Dress shopping advice : I would not recommend going to Bridal Suites in Centereach. I had an absolute awful experience. I ended up having to buy another dress 3 weeks before my wedding from another bridal shop.

Here is the story -

I ordered my dress in Nov 2019 (I was originally an August 2020 bride). My dress didn’t come in until 3 months after my wedding date. I did postpone but still, I might have wanted my dress for a small ceremony.

I picked up my dress and then came back in July 2021 for alterations. The dress didn’t fit. They told me I gained weight. 1. All brides love to hear that a month away from their wedding 2. I lost weight

They attempted to let the dress out (after being extremely rude) but it didn’t work. They claimed it fit fine but there were lines across the thigh area because it was too tight. It was also too big on the top and I couldn’t walk in it. They claimed they ordered the correct size. The sample size fit in November and I ordered a size larger. Now it’s too tight and my measurements are smaller. I asked to see the sample dress. They pulled out a 14…which I did not try on. I tried an 8 (and ordered a 10). The sample dress was also a different color but they claimed it was the same. I believe they forgot to order my dress and gave me the sample.

I decided to just take my dress home after what was suppose to be my “last fitting” and not try it on again. They didn’t care that I wasn’t happy and that they were wrong.

I bought a new dress, off the rack, at a different shop. It ended up being much better and more my style. I also asked the shop what size they would have ordered for me with my exact measurement I had back in November and they would have suggest a 12..not an 8 which bridal suites wanted to “order”. I asked for the size 10 just in case

I went to try and sell my original dress after my wedding…the lace has holes in it, there are still pins on it and most of the appliqué isn’t even attached.

Just be careful if you bought or are buying a dress there.

I will start by saying I have been to many bridal stores and this is by far the most UNPROFESSIONAL staff that could really use a lesson in customer service. Long story short I originally ordered a bridesmaid dress in October for my brothers wedding in April, the wedding had then been postponed until August due to unforeseen circumstances. You would think a dress that was ordered in October would be in at the very least by the date of the original wedding however I never received a call regarding my order. I called up in June to find out the status of the dress knowing I would need a good deal of alterations as the consultant told me I needed to order a plus size dress (it was a fitted dress and I have wide hips) from the time I ordered to April I had lost 30lbs and knew the dress would need a lot of work, when I called to find out the status of the order I got nothing but attitude on the phone "what do you mean the status of your order?" I explained the situation and the girl replied "It is on order and we call the bride when it comes in" I asked if they could please call me as I will need to set up an appointment for alterations, the girl said sure read back my number and that was the end of that call. The wedding is now 3 days away and I receive a voicemail today stating "we want to REMIND you that your dress is here" I call back and explain to the girl I never received a call and would like to know when the dress came in because the bride never told me. She tells me to hold on the manager will come to the phone, someone picks up I go through the whole story again for that girl to say let me get the manager, whom I thought I was already talking to, finally the manager gets on the phone I tell the story for the 3rd time and she replies with "it is store policy to call the bride" So basically I am shit out of luck for this wedding in 3 days, they did say they could squeeze me in for alterations however I have work the next 2 overnights and it is extremely inconveni

Horrible. They ordered the wrong color dress for my maid of honor. The dresses were promised when I paid a five week rush and didn't come in any where near five weeks. My dress came in and didn't fit right and when I mentioned it the lady said "maybe you gained weight". Really rude. The manager never returned my phone calls and would dodge me when i came in. I would NOT recommend this dress store to other brides to be.

I bought my wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses from Bridal Suite of Centereach and had a horrible experience. Before ordering my bridesmaid dresses I requested that they order me a swatch because I wanted to make sure it was the right color. The swatch came and it was eggplant which I wanted so my bridesmaids ordered their dresses. The dresses come in and they are "purple" not eggplant", now I know this may not sound like a big deal, but I based all my wedding colors on these dresses being eggplant. When I question what happened, they said they'd have to contact the vendor and get back to me. They never even called me back, so a few days later I called and they told me that the vendor had sent an old swatch and they do not make the "eggplant color" anymore, this is their new eggplant which is was purple. So I asked what could we do and they said we can't do anything. I said it wasn't acceptable can we order new dresses, no we couldn't, we were stuck with them. So finally the manager Kathy who is very unprofessional says we'll work with you on your alterations. So now onto my dress, my wedding dress comes in and I ended up having to go for an extra fitting because they just weren't alerting it how I wanted it. So I go to pay the final payment and they took $75 off my $500 alterations, since they wouldn't work with me my father called and they were extremely rude to him and wouldn't return his calls. Lastly I take my wedding dress home and hang it up and I see that they didn't finish sewing one of the seams, so the morning of my wedding my mother has to sew my dress. Are you kidding me? Bottom line is the staff is rude here, the shop is old and they are overpriced for the services they provide. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Spend a little extra money and go to Bridal Reflections or Macys Bridal.
