Best Dress Shopping Experience!

Bridal Elegance elevated my dress shopping experience by being constantly attentive, letting me try on dresses a few times to make an informed decision, and allowing friends and family to participate in different appointments along the way. They have an incredible selection to choose from, I ended up falling in love with the first dress I tried on. It was a simple lace gown with comfortable lining perfect for our wedding in Puerto Rico!

Beautiful dress selection for all brides

Bridal Elegance was an incredible salon to work with! I drove down from LA because I knew they had a good selection of plus size dresses in stock (which is still rare for most bridal salons), and they delivered! I had been to 3 other salons prior and none had the selection of designers, styles, price ranges, and accessories that Bridal Elegance had in house. Every stylist that I worked with was so kind, accommodating, and knowledgeable, and knew how to manage group expectations for other people in the appointment. The show room is super cute and comfortable with enough room to bring several folks, and the in house tailoring team is super talented. I will highly recommend Bridal Elegance to any SoCal bride!

One in a million bridal studio!

I am so thankful that my mom found this store, we fell in love with this studio from the moment we walked inside. They are so friendly and kind there, I could not have hoped for a better experience. My dress felt so perfect, I bought out of state, but I ended up visiting home enough time, I wished I had it altered there! The care these ladies take with the dress is unlike any other place you will visit. I will only suggest them to my bridal friends!

Highly recommend!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I went to a handful of different shops and there are many reasons I ended up purchasing from this one! First off, it was great to be able to see a lot of the selection on their Pinterest prior to the appointment. The shop itself is beautiful and has the perfect aesthetics for a memorable day with my girls. Brianne was an amazing stylist and truly the sweetest! She really listened to every detail of my likes/dislikes and stayed mindful of my budget. The owner, Louise, was also super friendly and I was shocked she remembered me every time I came in! They both did everything they could to help me get my dream dress as close to my budget as possible. I knew I wanted to give them my business because they genuinely made me feel like they cared about helping me find my perfect dress and not just trying to make a sale. I got my alterations done in-house and Margoth made my custom puff sleeves exactly how I envisioned! All of my wedding guests were raving at the details of my dress and how the custom sleeves were so perfectly my style!

Would HIGHLY recommend Bridal Elegance!

I stumbled upon Bridal Elegance because distance from my home was a key factor in deciding on a bridal boutique. I knew I had to return multiple times to get fitted/alterations so I wanted to find a nearby store to avoid driving in traffic to/from these necessary appointments.

The first boutique I went to was a well known one in Brentwood who was too pushy. Bridal Elegance was my second and last. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by warm attendants and beautiful decor. Everything was styled and decorated with this cute Parisian theme - my mom and I loved everything about it. I enjoyed my consultation appointment from beginning to end because I wasn't rushed and they listened to everything I wanted. NOTE: They make you go through their pinterest page that has every designer and dress option listed to narrow down your likes - it's tedious at first, but it really makes your appt efficient. I found my dress during my first appointment and you really do have that moment "This is my dress". Luckily, I found mine during a trunk show and got a good deal on a "one of a kind" dress... aka it's not out yet to the public. Alterations were easy and done seamlessly. I got a bustle for my dress added and it was done perfectly by the professional seamstress. In the end, I would always come back to this boutique to get my wedding dress. I would highly recommend this store!

The only place you'll want to go for a bridal gown!

Our daughter and son-in-law just got married and it all started at Bridal Elegance! Our consultant, Maryann, was so insightful, patient and talented, and their selection is amazing! They first got a sense of what our daughter liked, then helped her find out what was most beautiful on her. We went twice to look spent an hour each time. Before our second meeting, Maryann again went through all the dresses to show our daughter along with those she had liked the first time, and she found THE DRESS. Our daughter absolutely fell in love with it, and everyone who saw it on her loved it too. It was just her style and so flattering and unique! It came in on time as promised, all fittings and alteration appointments were carefully scheduled, and their seamstress Courtney made sure the dress fit absolutely perfectly, yet comfortably. Everyone was caring and professional and excited for us, and so incredibly helpful! They stayed within our budget and helped us find a lovely reasonably priced veil and the perfect earrings there as well!

Amazing, my dream wedding dress.

Bridal Elegance was soo so so wonderful to work with and gave me my dream wedding dress, even earlier than they promised. The staff was friendly and accommodating and helped guide me towards the best dress for me! I found my DREAM WEDDING DRESS but it was obviously not made with busty women in mind. I talked to the tailor about getting the middle snitched up and they did it soooo (sorry for the pun) seamlessly and perfectly it looked like the dress was made that way. Thank you for making my wedding dress dreams come true!

They had everything we needed, from an array of wedding dresses, accessories, and bridesmaid dresses, to a tailor that performed amazing alterations. Everyone is extremely friendly, organized, and were always prompt to reply to messages and questions. As a bonus, we were able to support a small, local business.

Excellent selection and staff

Bridal Elegance was the 3rd bridal studio I went to looking for my perfect wedding gown, and I wish I would have started here. Their selection is unparalleled in style and in price point, and their staff made the experience so special and fun. I was able to try on so many dresses in various styles so that I could really get a sense of the look I was going for. Based on what I liked, the staff also gave recommendations for other dresses I should try based on what I was liking and disliking. I would highly recommend this studio in the South Bay/LA if you are looking for your perfect dress!

5 Stars for BE!

As a disclaimer, this was the only bridal boutique I went to, but one stop was all I needed! I had a great experience trying on dresses here and never felt pressured or rushed. Louise, the owner, is the sweetest and you can tell she's very passionate about helping you find the perfect dress. I ended up also getting my veil here, using their seamstress, and went through them for my dress preservation. Again, I could not be happier with my experience at Bridal Elegance and would highly recommend them!

Helpful stylists who go the extra mile!

It's been well over a year since I actually picked out my wedding dress at Bridal Elegance in Torrance, but I'm only just getting around to reviewing how amazing they were to work with. After visiting several other dress shops that pulled dressing in styles or designs that didn't match what I asked for or in price ranges that were way beyond what I was looking to spend, it was such a refreshing experience at BE. My stylist pulled some incredible options for me to try on! I had 2 dresses I really loved (out of about 10 that were very on point for what I wanted) and because one of those was in a huge sample size it was hard to really tell how it would look in my size. So BE actually went above and beyond by contacting Stella York and seeing if they could get in another dress in a size closer to what I wear! After going back in to try on this smaller sample and compare it to the other dress I was also loving, I knew I had found my dress!
Bridal Elegance made the whole dress shopping experience fun and relaxing, like it should be for a newly engaged woman. My dress came in faster than expected (custom made to my height because of the hem type) and since it was still a while until my wedding they offered to keep my dress there at the shop until I was ready to pick it . This was perfect since we don't have a lot of extra storage space in our condo and I didn't want my now husband to see it.
If you are looking for a wedding dress shopping experience that is fun and gives you options that are what you are looking for, then I highly recommend Bridal Elegance! My best friend also got her dress from them a couple years before me :)

Found the perfect dress

I didn't think of myself as a "bride" until I started trying on dresses at Bridal Elegance. I'd been to other salons to try on dresses, but the selection here as well as the knowledge of my consultant was really unparalleled. My consultant put me in so many different styles so I could see what I liked and disliked and helped me find the perfect dress for my wedding (which was not what I thought I would choose!) and made me feel comfortable. The sizing, ordering, alterations, and pickup process was also easy and straightforward. I've sent 2 friends here already and they've both got their dresses as well.

Incredibly helpful and patient staff!!!

I'm so glad I started with Bridal Elegance for my first ever try-ons for wedding dresses. Braedi listened to me and understood what I wanted even though they didn't have the dress styles I wanted to try on hand. I went home to do some more research and have a better idea of what I want. She also let me just try on everything rule out dress styles I thought I didn't want and now am sure of. I will definitely be going back now that I am better informed and have some specific dresses in mind.

Amazing!

The shop is spotlessly clean, beautiful and well organized. They have SO MANY options! I made two appointments with the salon, and although I have not yet received my dress, I had the greatest experience with Brianna and Louise. They were so patient and kind and helped me find my dream wedding dress after trying on so many and getting disheartened. I am so glad I found this little gem of a shop.

I said “YES!” To Bridal Elegance, the most darling & five star service Wedding boutique in the South Bay! Louise is the owner & she really goes above & Beyond to make you comfortable & does everything she can to help make your Wedding gown experience perfect. From finding the “one”, to ordering accessories (I really wanted a certain kind of veil-& when they didn’t have it she called to see about custom ordering one), to hunting down the designer’s deliveries (she personally called me to touch base on the delivery of my gown),& just giving you that personable friendly vibe with professionalism. Plus they are super on top of their social media platforms-I love getting updates from them & cute tips! And the boutique is so adorably chic. I haven't yet received my wedding gown but must say I had the best experience purchasing my gown at Bridal Elegance! Courtney helped me during my first visit to the store. After discussing with me ideas on what styles I liked and didn't like and my budget, she started pulling so many gowns off the racks for me to try on. I think I tried on about 10 different dresses during my appointment! I was so surprised because at other stores I had previously visited, I was only allowed to try on 3-4 dresses at my appointments. I did find a perfect dress that day, and went back a few weeks later for measurements and to purchase the gown (Maryann helped me the second visit). Everyone at this shop is super friendly and helpful! I never felt pressured to make a purchase. They really listen to what I had envisioned for my wedding gown and helped me find the perfect dress! For a small additional fee, they were able to measure me for a custom fit dress! Prices are very reasonable. My dress will not arrive for a few more months and I cannot wait to see how it is!

After going to multiple bridal places to try on dresses, i was starting to feel hopeless. I was looking for something with beads, lace, and gems and all the other places couldn't find a dress that had my vision. When i went to Bridal Elegance, they pulled out a couple dresses for me to try on. It wasn't until the last dress that just came in to the store was when i found the one. I didn't have to look anymore. They were so nice and helpful every step of the way. They even stored my dress for me until the day before the wedding! LOVE this place!

Bridal Elegance is the BEST! Stacey and her team were all awesome and helpful! Stacey was the one that actually picked out my wedding dress and it was one of those where I didn't think it would look good on me just by looking at it on the hanger. But when I actually tried it on, I knew it was the ONE. I fell in love with it right away and all my bridesmaids were saying "oh yea, that dress is so you." My husband and I got married last July and I still get compliments on how pretty my wedding dress was and how perfect the colors were for my bridal party. We got the bridesmaids dresses and groom/groomsmen suits at Bridal Elegance as well! Everything was just perfect.

I was blown away by Stacey and her team at Bridal Elegance. I originally went to a couple of other "fancier" stores in the same area, and felt a little uncomfortable/rushed. Granted, I did find a dress I loved at store #1, but I wanted to give Bridal Elegance a try still and went the same day. My mom, sister, and I picked out about 10 dresses to try on, and I came back to the one I loved in the first store. I had found both stores through Maggie Sottero's website and ended up falling in love with a Maggie dress. The girls who assisted me were lovely. They never pressured me, though they did point out that they knew I was in "the one" because I couldn't stop twirling and touching the dress. B.E. had this dress priced $200 lower than the first store, so I was sold.
I put down a deposit with Stacey, and came back about 6 months later once the dress came in for a fitting. They were quick and easy, and the seamstress (who you pay separately) was lovely. I knew I likely wouldn't be able to come back for a final fitting due to living out of state at the time, so when my dress came back from alterations, Stacey not only shipped the dress and veil across the country for free, she set me up with a friend of hers in Chicago who owns a shop there so that she could assist me with a final fitting. Completely unnecessary because it turns out the dress fits perfectly, but the fact that she offered was really above and beyond the type of service you expect. I can't wait to wear it in January!! Loved Bridal Elegance! A tucked away, small shop with a giant selection of Allure and Casablanca dresses (among many other designers!). The owners were very sweet and professional - kind, supportive, and within an instant, they knew which dresses suited my style and body shape based on the pictures I showed them. They brought me a number of selections, listened to my concerns and my wants and helped me to find my perfect Casablanca dress and my veil, too! It is a small store - be sure to make an appointment, and don't bring an entourage. For alterations, Petra is their on-site tailor. She did an amazing job making my dress fit perfectly and in an extremely timely manner. Loved them!

I purchased and altered my wedding dress at Bridal Elegance. I got a great deal for my Allure dress. I was stressed out after I first ordered it because I was told by the church that I had to cover my shoulders, so I called the dress shop and they helped me find a solution to the problem. They found a lace top that I could add to the dress. It made it look as though I had two different dresses. There were no extra hidden fees and they were very honest, which is why I am extremely grateful.

I ordered my dress here in December 2014 and was thrilled and amazed with the help and service I received here. I had gone to a few bridal shops and was unhappy with their service. I absolutely adore this bridal salon! They found my dream dress and sold it at a more affordable price than other local bridal salons. The seamstress they use is fantastic. My sister got her dress at La Soie in Torrance and had a nightmare with the alterations lady. We were so relieved that my experience was better!

Bridal Elegance is the place to go! Stacey (owner) is so flexible and will do anything and everything she can to make sure your dress is PERFECT! I had redesigned my dress by adding sleeves and taking off the straps. When I had the idea of what I wanted my bridesmaid looked at me like I was crazy! However Stacey was all over the idea and helped put in her ideas and I LOVED my dress. She treated me like family and i would highly recommend her and her staff. She has a great selection of dresses! I adored my dress! I originally went to a major wedding chain store when I went dress shopping for the first time. When I walked in Bridal Elegance, the quality was dramatically better then other dresses I tried on at other locations. The best part was that everything was still in my price range. After I picked my dress, everything else went very smoothly. I did my alterations, tried my dress on a few times leading up to the wedding, picked a veil and underskirt to complement the look, and I just love my dress so much. It fit just perfect!

This is the best place to find a wedding dress! They have a great selection and provide excellent customer service! Stacey and Maryanne are so helpful and have a lot of patience. They make it a priority to work with the bride to find the perfect dress. I found my wedding dress here and my bridesmaids dresses as well. The whole experience at this salon was wonderful!

Bridal Elegance has an AMAZING selection of dresses and accessories. The fitting rooms and mirrors are SO CUTE!! Tons of room to take multiple people. I ordered my dresses and my bridesmaid dresses from them and Stacy was an amazing help. She helps guide you with a timeline for ordering and calls you the second they are in! I ordered my bridal gown late July and the dress came in early January. STRESS FREE!

They have a third-party alterations lady that comes a couple days a week. She was a tad pricey but did the job.

Overall, Bridal Elegance was my one stop shop for shoes, gown, head piece, veil and jewelry!

Bridal Elegance with the first (and only) bridal shop I visited. I was able to find my dress, after trying on just 4 dresses total! The staff was helpful, and their seamstress is PHENOMENAL! I not only got the style of dress I hoped for, but I got it on sale and their seamstress added crystal hooks to create a bustle for my dress. My experience here was truly special to me since I am a plus-sized gal, and I was dreading having to shop for a dress. They have a large selection of dresses offered in plus-sizes.

Bridal Elegance was by far the best bridal shop I visited during my search for a dress! They had a wide selection of dresses to choose from and the staff is so helpful! They gave wonderful suggestions and I never felt rushed to make a decision. They were always so sweet even though I had a million questions for them! Great wedding dress store! I went to this store because they carried Maggie Sottero dresses. I told them what kind of dress I was looking for and they picked out several dresses for me to try on. The dressing room area is very beautiful and spacious. I loved all of the dresses that I tried on. Looking at them on the rack, I was not too sure, but when I put them on, they were stunning. Stacy and her staff were very helpful and professional. I never had a problem getting in touch with someone when I called, so that was a plus. I liked this store because they sold other wedding items like bras, shoes, veils, etc. I ended up buying a Maggie Soterro dress from there and a bra. The cost of the dress was very affordable. The dress came in a little earlier than scheduled, which was great. I had lost weight so I went to Petra for my alterations. She did a great job. After the alterations were finished and after I tried the dress on again, Petra took my dress to Bridal Elegance so that they could press it for me. When the pressing was done a couple days later, I picked my dress up and it was absolutely beautiful. My dress was stunning on the day of my wedding and I received compliments all night.

I really liked Stacy. She always greeted me with a smile and was just a nice lady. Overall, this is a great store to find a beutiful wedding dress!

I love them. They have a great selection at great prices. Their service is fantastic and their alterations person is affordable and does a really good job. I would recommend them to every bride. They sell their gowns for the prices the designers suggest. Period. There are no shady games and "discounts" on inflated prices. What most of us don't realize when we start dress shopping is that many bridal shops increase the designers suggested price for a dress by three or four times and then give brides "discounts" that actually end up being a higher price than what the designer says the dress should sell for. Bridal Elegance is straight forward and honest. Totally worth the trip to Torrance if you're not in the area.

I am a bigger girl and they made me feel so important and so special. It was not that way at any other shop. They found an amazing dress for me and let me bring a bunch of people to create a "say yes to the dress" moment. They also found a dress to flatter my mom and every other girl in the wedding. So sweet and willing to bend over backwards. There were some issues with arrival date of the dresses, it was a couple weeks before the wedding, but I would have felt more comfortable if they arrived sooner. Also, the zipper on my sisters dress broke, but they offered to fix it for free if we brought it back. Some issues with sizing make sure they measure around your ribcage, it seemed to be a problem area when ordering dresses to a certain pre-determined dimension. Do alterations elsewhere...

Bridal Elegance was the third bridal boutique i went to and found my dream dress "Tracy" from Sottero and Midelgy. The staff at Bridal Elegance (Stacey and MaryAnn) is hands down fantastic! They were totally ok with my very young niece there while I tried on gowns. I didn't know what I was initially looking for but they quickly helped me find "THE DRESS". I felt no pressure in making my decision. I was even allowed to try on the dress a second time after I ordered it a couple months later and they were happy to do so! I made a mistake and ordered the wrong sash for my dress and I was allowed to change my order hassle free! Stacey still helped me change my order with a smile. Bridal Elegance definitely has a personal touch to it when it comes to customer service. Bridal Elegance is allowing me to borrow there veil and head pieces for my upcoming hair trial, instead of using my own. Most places DO NOT do that. Whenever I have called or email Bridal Elegance I have had an immediate response. I am impressed with this place. I read all the bad reviews and got scared initially but my experience there has been awesome and would like to spread the word that this place rocks.

Bridal Elegance is the place to go to find your wedding dress!!! My wedding dress was part of Maggie Sottero's Fall 2010 collection and Bridal Elegance was the only authorized dealer in the area that had a sample of my dress when I started searching (Sept. 2010). Stacey is great to work with and responds to messages quickly. The salon also has a cute feel to it, making the overall experience that much better. Thanks Stacey--I love my dress!!

I had visited at least 3 other bridal salons in the South Bay area before going to Bridal Elegance - I wish I hadn't wasted my time at the other salons! The employees at the other salons were strictly salespeople looking to sell me the first gown I tried on... The ladies at Bridal Elegance were not like that at all - They gave me their honest opinion ("Let's not even go out with that dress on"), they didn't try to sell me a gown I didn't want, and (BEST OF ALL) they listened to me! I highly recommend Bridal Elegance to others!

They always say that the dress is one of the most important parts of wedding planning. At first, I didn't agree... that was until I went shopping for one! I went to David's Bridal first, and received very mediocre service. They pressured me to buy a dress that I wasn't really comfortable with. Then I went to a "posh" bridal salon where they were extremely over-bearing, expensive and didn't even allow pictures to be taken (nor the was the designer's name and style info. given to me). I escaped and scoured the internet searching for the dress I liked there and found Bridal Elegance. They had the dress, priced at $400 cheaper and were extremely pleasant over the phone. I live in Rancho Cucamonga and drove to Torrance for this bridal salon. It was worth every single hour and a half trip! I dealt with Stacey who was AMAZING! She allowed me to try on several dresses, told me to make sure I felt comfortable in them before I even considered them! She gave me personal service with such a warm heart. Even when busy, she still made me feel right at home. My bridesmaids also bought their dresses at this salon as well! This was by far my BEST vendor out of all of them for my wedding!!

I LOVE bridal elegance. This was the only place I went to, and I have no regrets about it! I have already recommended them to two more brides to be! Their dress selection was great and priced nicely to the point where my mom's price point was over their most expensive dress, my only limitation was the fact that I only had 5 months till my wedding, but even then, we had three racks to choose from. I loved my dress so much and I'm trying to figure out how to wear it again without waiting till my 25th anniversary like my mom did. Super professional, super nice, and such a great place.

I actually bought 2 dresses from them! They are one of the only shops that allows you to take pictures and this was the beginning of a wonderful experience. The woman who helped me was so sweet, genuine. and kind. Many other experiences were so fake at other shops. I found my necklace, veil, and hair piece here as well. The woman who does the tailoring was amazing too!

On Thursdays they have a hair and make-up team who are great. You can book them and do a trial at the shop and see your style with your dress.

Had such an fun experience at Bridal Elegance!! I was shocked to see the bad reviews! Stacy and MaryAnn were soo sweet from the very beginning! MaryAnn put up with me trying on soo many dresses and she was sweet all the way thru!! I went in various times (trying on dresses, buying my dress, going back just to try sample on again! and for my fittings!!) I did not have a bad experience at any point!! I did get a little worried when I lost some weight (about 2 sizes) and so the dress I initially ordered fit me too loose, and alterations were going to cost me an arm and leg.. BUT Stacy and MaryAnn saved the day! I contacted them to let them know what happened and I wanted to see if they still had the sample I initially tried on that used to fit me tight.. and they did! It was in great condition! and they let me swap it! (I know its the sample, but I am soo THANKFUL they had it and let me swap it!) It fit me much better and they made sure I was happy! I also ordered my veil from them and it was soo beautiful! Just make sure you order your dress early so theres enough time to get it and so you can worry less! I also ordered my headpiece from them and received it quickly! They also sell headpieces, tiaras, sashes and jewelry! The only negative for me was that they are closed on Sundays and fitting are only on Thursdays. All in all, had such a great experience!! Glad I ordered my dress, veil and headpiece from bridal elegance! Thank you Stacy and MaryAnn!

Best selection of dresses

I went to Bridal Elegance after striking out with other bridal shops. Their dress selection is vast, and even just walking into their shop felt different. It is a beautiful, inviting space. My bridal consultant, Vesna, sat down with me to discuss dresses and styles that I liked and didn't like. She seemed to have the shop's inventory memorized and I trusted that she knew what I was looking for. I found my dream dress that very first consultation. The owner, Louise, is also wonderful and was very helpful in thinking of ways to accessorize and customize the dress. I looked forward to each fitting! The Best of the Best!

I have nothing but amazing things to say about Bridal Elegance. I am so happy that I got my wedding dress with here! Louise, the owner, is so kind, compassionate and knowledgeable about dresses!

From the moment I walked in she greeted us with a warm smile & knew EXACTLY what dress would look good on me. It didn't take more than 1 appointment in working with Louise until I bought my dream dress.

The entire staff is so wonderful! They would make me appointments to come in and try my dress on whenever I wanted. Always so flexible and accommodating.

I decided to use their in-house alterations, and Margo did an AMAZING job. Truly the best seamstress I've ever worked with. She was fantastic, quick and very educated in tailoring.

I would recommend this store to any bride! Not only is it a cute salon with amazing staff, but it's also affordable & they have a TON of dresses to chose from.

The reason for my 4-stars is only for my bridesmaids dresses. They were all measured to order and they all came back EXTREMELY large that every single one of them had to have it taken in 2-3 sizes which added up quick. We were told to have them size up, which didn't need to be the case.

Other than that, my wedding dress was perfect and that's probably all that matters! ;)

I bought my gorgeous Casablanca Bridal gown from Bridal Elegance. It was the first one I tried on once I was engaged and then the last! From the beginning Bridal Elegance was so accommodating with booking appointments and helping me once I was in their shop. There prices are reasonable and it was a pleasant experience. Two days before the wedding I had to get my dress taken in even more and their seamstress was amazing! The shop is a bit small so can be a little crowded and busy at times but all in all, it was great. They even let me borrow a hair piece and veil for the hair trial when mine wasn't delivered yet. Small town feel with a big time pay off of making brides look beautiful! Thank you so much Bridal Elegance.

I love Stacy! Everything people are saying about her knowing what looks good on people is true! I went to a more posh store and found a dress that I LOVED, but the price was out of my range. So, when I went to Bridal Elegance a week later, I was just looking at the dresses, when she asked me what I was looking for. I describe not the dress I loved before (because I didn't want to be disappointed), but the type. She literally asked me if I had seen the exact dress that I wanted!!! So, after I said yes, I asked her how much it was, and her price was $200 less! So, just for "fun", I tried some other dresses on before the one, and even though they were less money, I couldn't walk away for that dress twice!

She is very sweet, and she knows her stuff! My bridesmaids bought their dresses there as well (I got 10% off!). I would recommend her to everyone looking for a dress (and I have!).

I found my dress at Bridal Elegance!!! I went to a lot of different shops, and Bridal Elegance was the best at hearing my budget and desired style and showing me the best selection. Honestly, my top 3 picks were all from this shop. I was still a bit wary because I had read some reviews that said the dresses take a while to arrive. However, upon hearing my shorter timeline, Stacey worked with me to ensure that I had enough time to order and tailor the dress. At the risk of sounding vain (aaah who cares if i sound vain, it is my wedding!) my dress looked AMAZING. It was BEAUTIFUL and everything I had dreamed of. Stacey even worked with me on the price when I found a better price for the dress on line, and assured me that with the steaming service and all the support her staff offers, I am getting a great deal. It was a beautiful dress indeed, and I am so happy I got it.

Even when I had a bridezilla moment and freaked out, Stacey calmed me and made me fall in love with my dress again! So glad to have met her.

The only thing I would comment is that when I tried on dresses with one of her younger assistants, she seemed really cold and unenthusiastic. She said all the right things ("I love that dress", "this is how this dress would fit if it were you size.") but in a very robotic way with a very bored expression. She felt so cold! But Stacey is great, the seamstress she uses is great, and the older lady who works at the shop is awesome too. Loved my experience here!

OOOh I forgot to mention I also got my veil here and that was probably one of my favorite things about my outfit. Stacey helped pick out the perfect veil to complement my dress, and it was gorgeous!

They Listened!

This was the only bridal salon I visited where they didn't try to push the budget I had provided. Weddings are expensive and I was getting pretty frustrated going to other salons and falling in love with a dress that was way outside of my price range. The ladies at Bridal Elegance were so phenomenal. The only other notable thing is that they get really busy on weekends and will limit the number of guests you bring!

Great for dresses, horrible for alterations

I give 5 stars for the actual shopping and buying experience but 3 stars for the alterations experience. So 4 on average.

Buying: all the associates I worked with were super nice and accommodating. They were respectful to my mother and friend plus listened to my feedback. This was my 7th or 9th store (can’t remember) that I visited so I was already a bit burnt out from the process so I am VERY glad that I found the dress here. I did have them steam ($75) and hold the dress (as well as my veil - which I got from Amazon lol) once alterations were done as I don’t have the closet space so that was nice. But yeah overall great experience.

Alterations: Now this is where I am disappointed after the fact. On the wedding reddit, most brides say to NOT use the tailors at your bridal shop due to cost and quality unless they have great reviews. I scoured the reviews on here and saw Courtney given a ton of shoutouts so when I was assigned to her, I thought cool, we’re set. We had 3 appointments: one for the general fitting, one for evaluating my custom puff sleeves plus the dress post alterations, and the last for seeing the final sleeves.

Issue 1: On my actual wedding day, any time I walked in my dress, I felt like I was going to trip at any moment. I don’t know if it was the style of the dress and the amount of layers in the skirt OR an alteration issue where it should have been made shorter but I felt uncomfortable. My guests on the other hand said I looked like I was gliding so a relief that I didn't look as uncomfortable as I felt but still - for the amount I paid, I should have felt as good as I looked. I assume most brides do not know what they’re doing as they try on bridal dresses and get them altered (I sure didn’t) so I wish Courtney/the BE team had provided a bit more guidance with this as now my biggest tip is WALK AROUND IN YOUR DRESS. Don’t just stand there and let them shorten it with the pins and markers and such and call it a day. Fully walk around in it and see how it feels. When I go to my normal tailor they have me do that but I never did that here. Could I have remembered to do this myself? Sure but the whole wedding thing is so overwhelming so I would have appreciated this guidance from the team.

Issue 2: We bustled my dress as it had a long train. Again trying on the bustle in the store, it worked perfectly. The problem is given issue one with the general styling / length of the skirt in my HEELS, I also switched to converses for the reception so the length became even more of an issue. I brought my flats to fittings btw but we never tried them on due to timing / reassurance that if the dress is the right length for the heels, it will be for the converses. Well it wasn’t. I would have been better off with the wristlet-type bustle because that’s what I ended up doing all night. I probably look goofy as hell in my photos and videos trying to dance while holding my drink AND my dress (while it was bustled). Oh and the bustle wouldn’t stay, my coordinator had to readjust it multiple times even before the dancing portion started. Then I ended up just making a makeshift bustle tucking it into my hemline LOL. Similar to the walking in the dress advice, WEAR YOUR DANCING SHOES (if changing) AND ACTUALLY BUSTLE AND MOVE PURPOSEFULLY IN THE DRESS BEFORE FINALIZING. I would have loved more direction from Courtney and the BE team on this because, again, wedding planning is a whirlwind and not something we’re used to (and let's be real, dress shopping sucks because you're the center of attention in a room full of strangers who have full of you, it's not a comfortable experience already) so having that guidance here would have probably saved a lot of trouble.

General feedback as well was that Courtney was rudely dismissive of my mother who, although I didn’t agree with the feedback she was giving, didn’t need to be responded to in such a way. She treated my mother like a nuisance compared to the rest of the BE staff.

Do I recommend this place for buying dresses? Absolutely, they have an awesome selection and helpful associates. But DO NOT get it altered here. Follow the advice of wedding reddit and go to your normal tailor or non-bridal store tailor. I am planning to alter my dress to shorten it into a knee-length dress or make into separates and I will not be returning here to do that.

I had been to dozens of dress shops before visiting Bridal Elegance and this was the first shop I felt comfortable in! Don't be fooled by the small exterior, they have a great selection of beautiful dresses. The staff is knowledgable and friendly and no one snubbed me when I told them my budget.

After shopping more than 7 bridal boutiques in the South Bay area, I came across Bridal Elegance.
Stacey and her dream team helped me find the perfect wedding dress, accessories and bridesmaids dresses!
It's a great shop: clean, organized, professional. Any bride to be should make Bridal Elegance their first stop!!!

I adored and loved this salon when I first got there. However it seemed as though once I actually purchased the dress, the owner was a little less interested and I felt as though I was in the way. On the other hand they did respond to me and try to get me the things I needed. Best salon in the south bay...

The only store in the area that actually had the dress I wanted.
The owner was extremely personable and seemed very invested in her clients. A little expensive for tailoring, I thought, but I was very happy with everything. Very nice store too! It was elegant, but not pretentious. Check out the amazing kitchen store next door as well.

I went to Bridal Elegance by myself in the middle of the afternoon during the week. Stacy, the owner, was more than helpful with picking out dresses, telling me what looked good, and - more importantly! - what didn't look good. I went back to her store a few months later to try on my final 2 dresses that I was choosing between. She had the m ready for me, and said she had pulled a third dress out that she thought I might like. As soon as I put the third dress on, I immediately got rid of the other two. I don't make spontaneous decisions and, in fact, didn't approach wedding dress shopping as looking for "the one" since that isn't my approach to clothes shopping in general. However, Stacy had picked out a dress for me that combined elements of the other two dresses, as well as looked better on me. It also was even less expensive than one of them, so I appreciated that she stayed in my budget.

Having said that, the store does get VERY busy with alterations because the seamstress is only there one day a week. Also, while I loved Stacy, I'm not a big fan of her assistant. It's not that I dislike her, it's simply that you can tell Stacy loves her job so much that, relative to her, her assistant doesn't seem as excited to be there. However, she was still professional, even if not as responsive as Stacy.

The quality of the dresses, and more important, the quality of the service at the store completely justifies the prices of the gowns, to me. However, there is a wide range of prices at the store - the dress I ended up buying was approximately the same as I would've spent at a chain bridal store (which has worse customer service and poorer quality gowns).

I would definitely recommend Bridal Elegance to any bride, but would suggest initially during the week when it is less busy. Also, be patient when going for alterations, and try not to be stressed or in a hurry.

I loved finding my wedding dress here! I went with my mother and her veil from 30 years ago. They not only helped me find the perfect dress, but also fitted it with the veil that I wanted to wear! I came in with an idea that didn't really work on my body. The consultant brilliantly knew what to do with the look I was going for and found this amazing dress that fit me so well and was exactly what I was looking for! All lace and gorgeous fit.

Stacy at Bridal Elegance Salon helped me the entire way through. I went through a ton of dresses but finally found "the one" with her help. It was a bit out of my price range but when we decided to purchase all the BMs dresses there as well as my mother dress she was able to come down on the price a bit. I might recommend finding a different seemstress though as I believe their prices for alterations were a bit high. I am also not sure about the quality since my bustle came out less than half way through the reception. They did however resolve that issue when i called and complianed after the wedding about the bustle and that made me happy. I would deffinately recommend them, they have a large selection of sought-after designers.

They have nice collection and give you discount too.
People who are working here are nice but not friendly. They are professional.

They have alteration lady who is really nice and cheap. ( I forgot her name. sorry!)
So if you bought a dress here , you should use her.

This review is for bridesmaid dress shopping. I was excited to take my friend here to look for her dress because the shop is very close to home and it is a small, intimate salon. We did not receive the best service, it was more like self-service. They told us at the beginning of our appointment that they were short one consultant but they would help us out the best they could. The only times they assisted my friend were when we needed dress clips and then when we were at the register ordering the dress. I helped her into every dress. I asked several times if we can rush the dress because I wanted to have it in time for alterations. Stacy told us that Maryanne was the rep In charge of ordering and would call me when she got back from vacation in two weeks to tell me the time frame for delivery of the dress. At that time we would decide if it needed to be rushed. I did not like that answer but I ordered the dress anyways. I called back two weeks later to follow up and Maryanne said they could rush the dress. They werent going to mention a rush fee unless i asked. Good thing it is only $25. Little things like this bugged me. The salon space is small and only enough room for 2 brides at a time. The front room is a very messy display room for bridal gowns and BM gowns. They don't have anything over a size 16 to try on. Not very organized or helpful reps.

Honestly My dress wedding dress turned out perfect and beautiful. We baught it on the 50% off rack. It is absolutely gorgeous. I love my dress everyone commented on beautiful it was. I would recommend buying the dress with them, but their quality of service is not as good as the quality of their merchandice. We had a very bad quality of service experience. Stacy the owner as very nice, but she is too overwhelmed and it is causing her quality of service to lack in many areas. I went to pick my bress up 3 days before my wedding, took it home and opened the bag it was in, and it was never steamed. If it was it was just ran over it for about a possible 3 minutes. Thank God my moms friend let us borrow her steamer. We ended up steaming my dress for 2 hours the night before I got married. Also her contact for alterations is aweful. Do NOT use Petra. She argued with my mom, and was rude. We both told her to make the girls bolero's to go over their shoulders for Temple, and instead she made wraps. We supplied the material and did not get what we wanted. We told her we didn't want wraps... which she charged 435 for and she said it would cost $80 t get what we wanted, and would not admit to making a mistake on what we had specifcally asked for. She also said she would match the material for my bolero and ended up getting a cream color when the dress was white... Good thing the veil hid it! Petra also managed to loose one of the girls wraps, and never altered it as we asked. Then she insisted we never gave it to her to alter. My mom went down to the shop and found it there herself 2 days before my wedding! So frustrating. The phone to the shop is either always turned off or put directly to voicemail. It is impossible to get a hold of them. The only good experience I had was that the dress I chose was perfect. I loved it, and Stacy did throw in the Veil at the time we purchased the dress. I would recommend buying your dress here.... but stay away from the alterations lady Petra. The only reason I rated so high on flexibility is because they seemed happy any time we needed to reschedule since they we so overwhelmed. Although every time I went in for a dress fitting we had to wait at least 30 min-1 hour before being helped. I think if they had a little more assistance their business would run smoother.

This store has fantastic value for cost. I found my dress at this store for $800 and saw it at another store for $1600!!! Naturally, I bought it at Bridal Elegance for half the cost. The ladies who work there were very helpful--- before I gave them my money. After they got my payment, the helpfulness became scarce. Don't even think about going on the weekend for any measurements or adjustments for your dress, they will ignore you. Even when I had an appointment to try on my dress after some tailoring was done, they stuck me in an office with no mirror to try it on. I couldn't even see how I looked. They promised my veil would arrive in February; after I went to the shop to get it three times in May and June, they told me they gave it to someone else but promised to have it the next week; but they didn't. They didn't give me the veil until one week before the wedding. I was getting nervous that I needed to buy one elsewhere. They are difficult to work with and caused a lot of unnecessary stress, but in the end, I did have a gorgeous dress that was relatively inexpensive.

horrible communication!! For every 2/3 phone calls or messages left I would be lucky to get a call back! Not only this all of my bridesmaids were told different stories about why their dresses were so late. If there was an issue the manager should have been able to tell everyone instead of saying different things to all 4 girls. If the dresses were going to take longer to receive she should have told us. I was given at least 3 different arrival dates for my girls dresses. The professionalism at this business could use some serious improvement!!

Got a great deal on my dress, was $1000, but I got it for $700.

They didn't get my dress to me until the day before my wedding!

They said there was an "ordering issue" with my dress. I ordered it in January for my June 28th wedding. I received it 12 days before my wedding! Thank god for their incredible seamstress.
The owner and her daughter are nice enough, but perhaps not too organized.

I highly do not recommend this place.

I got my dress last October and the shipment delayed for over the month.
Stacy did not call or email to tell me that my dress was going to be delayed.
I had to email and call her. Her and her staff would tell me they would call me back with the status update, however, I only got one phone call back from them. Stacy was not prompt in responding to my emails and it got me really frustrated.

Whether it was the manufacturer's fault or not, Stacy needed to keep me updated but she failed to do so. I constantly had to call and email.
When I received my dress I saw the most hideous buttons on the back of my dress. Whether I wanted satin buttons or crystal buttons, I did not expect the buttons to be grey and look that hideous. I told Stacy about the buttons and she said the buttons were what I ordered. She offered to switch the buttons with an extra cost!! I laid out my complaints and she finally then switched the buttons to normal satin buttons. I still was not satisfied because the buttons were sewed on crooked.

I love my dress but I would never go through Bridal Elegance to get the dress.
I realized I could have bought my dress elsewhere for a lot cheaper.

I highly do not recommend this place.

I signed up on this website just so I can put a review for Bridal Elegance. I vow to make a search for them on every search engine out there just to put my review. What they're doing is not acceptable. My wedding is in 3 weeks and I have not seen my dress yet.

I was told that my dress would come in 1st week of April and there will be plenty of time for alterations. Until now I do not have my dress.

I was so excited because they carry the dress I found on a magazine. When I sent in an e-mail for an appointment Stacey was quick to response. On a weekend at night time, she didn't have a problem setting up an appointment for me. Now it's time to know where my dress is, **poof** she vanishes.

Avoid this store at all cost! Brides are already stressed out planning their wedding and this store will just add into that.

On April 28th I got this e-mail from Stacey after multiple e-mails to her: "Just got an update on the dress. It is clearing customs and should be in next week. Sorry for not getting back to you sooner but I have been out of town and just got back in earlier today and had to get caught up. I'll give you a call as soon as it arrives." I wonder if they read this review or just a coincidence that they sent an e-mail reply the same day I wrote the review on yelp....hhhmmm...

On May 5th ago I sent an e-mail asking for the tracking number. I haven't heard from Stacey yet.

I unfrtunately bought my dress at this location. Same with the other reviews, as soon as I gave Stacy and her daughter my entire payment, I was dirt and felt like I was in their way. I brought my 5 bridesmaids to their store, we had an appointment but they did not seem interested to help out my bridesmaids in looking for their dresses. I saw my bridesmaids helping themselves looking for their sizes in order to try them on. I felt bad and suggested for us to leave. I wish I could get a refund for my gown but it's too late. It's too bad that Stacy and especially her daughter for some reason choose to treat people inconsistently, it's just not good business practice and I would have recommended their store to three of my friends who are getting married in 2010 but I won't make that mistake and jeopardize my relationship with my friends. There are 3 other bridal stores in the South Bay that will treat you with utmost respect and not abandon you and your bridal party even after you've fully paid your gowns. Brides be wise!!!

Terrible costumer service, delay in ordering dress and almost didn't have it for the wedding. Left messages and received nothing back.

THINK TWICE BEFORE GOING TO BRIDAL ELEGANCE!!! Please read whole story.

For a couple months, I looked and looked for the perfect dress. I finally went to Bridal Elegance and with the help of Stacy, I found my dress. She was so helpful and treated me like a princess, I really felt like a wonderful bride. I was so excited to finally find a salon that was clean and where the owner took a vested interest in her customers. I was so impressed that I had my BMs get their dresses there and even suggested to my girlfriend to get her wedding dress there. BAD IDEA

(I agree with the poster - Awagner.) The owner Stacy, was so pleasantly nice up until I paid in full for the dress. It seems that once you make that final payment, you no longer need to be treated well. It feel's like she's got your money and nothing else matters anymore. I wouldn't be too concerned if this was the only hiccup...but it wasn't. Please keep reading... And unlike (poster - CB_08), my BMs didn't receive a 10% discount.

When planning a wedding, many people like to tell you about horror stories. I would listen, but would shrug them off as things out of my control. So, to make this story worse, the store moved locations and didn't have the decency to notify me. I drove to the location where I thought they were only to find a vacant store. Talk about making my own horror story come true...this sent chills down my spine...

I totally agree with (poster - Sheryl0222), find another seam stress.
My mom was shopping for a dress a little late in timing, so we had to buy a dress off the rack, unfortunately at another store. So when we asked Bridal Elegance to press it - they wouldn't b/c it wasn't purchased from them. They don't even sell mother of the bride dresses. But you would've thought that because we purchased my dress and BMs dresses and referred my girlfriend there, they would've been grateful for the business and pressed the dress for us.

At my final fitting with the seamstress, we put pins where the bustle was going to be and we put safety pins on areas that we thought beads needed to be secured and glued better. She and Stacy assured me that when they press the dress and prepare it to be ready - they double and triple check EVERYTHING and make sure the necessary things are fixed. WRONG!!!

I scheduled an appointment to pick up my dress on a Thursday afternoon and my wedding was Saturday. When I got to the store, my dress wasn't ready. Patiently waiting and watching the many women try on dresses I waited while an employee pressed my dress. Why it wasn't ready...I don't know, but I didn't complain.

The day of the wedding, I opened the pink bag only to find the safety pins still pinned to my dress!!! The beads were not secured on nor glued on and the previously identified strings were still loose. What was a bride to do. I didn't loose my cool...but I certainly was thankful to my MOH for putting on her own "seamstress" hat and saving the day. How in the heck did they press a dress with big gold safety pins on it and let it walk out of the store???? As far as the bustle goes - by the end of the night, two of the four main buttons on the back had popped off leaving the bustle crooked.

All in all, I called Stacy on the day of my wedding to tell her what happened. I left a voice mail explaining the situation and asked that she make sure this did not happen to any other brides. I wasn't angry - b/c I knew my MOH could work her magic, but to this day I haven't received a call back. Not even an apology! Would've been nice to know I was heard.

Please think twice about going there. You can read from the previous reviews that some of the same things are happening to other people. If you do buy from them, please double and triple check your items before leaving the store with them.

BTW...
The girlfriend who I referred to Bridal Elegance - just had her wedding. I don't know specifics...but she said her dress wasn't pressed well.

THIS STORE TRIED TO SELL ME A USED WEDDING DRESS! No, I'm not kidding or exaggerating. The owner, Stacy, tried to replace my brand new $1900 paloma blanca dress with the nasty, stained floor model. My father in law and husband had to call her and threaten to expose her in order for her to confess and provide me with the real dress. And if that isn't bad enough, this store is disorganized, understaffed and dishonest. They forgot to order my dress and my veil, forgot to order the buttons for my dress, then forgot to sew the buttons on three times! I had to make a special trip back to the store 2 weeks after the dress was supposed to be done in order to get the buttons on and pick up my veil that Stacy forgot to order (twice) which then ripped. This is when I realized that she had switched my dress. Because it was 2 days before I left for my wedding she had to have the seamstress bustle the dress without me in it. She had her son deliver it to my house because she was too afraid to own up to what she did. in short, DO NOT BUY A DRESS FROM BRIDAL ELEGANCE. YOU WILL NOT GET WHAT YOU PAID FOR!
